The two barncats on the edge of WindClan's territory, it's Hayseed and Fritter! They're knowledgeable about Twoleg Lore and Hayseed in particular is a strong fighter in his own right, although he'd much rather be catching mice and doing antics that get his Twolegs to film him.

Yes they both have southern accents.

Yo can you explain the gorgeous art in which you drew Gingerbrave and dozer (who prob reincarnated from diff cookies)? I really want to know the lore

Thank youuu! As for the lore. It's a bit spoilery but considering the snail pace I'm working on with my silly AU, I'll put them under the cut. (CW: Death, Abuse)

Before she became the Witch of Compassion and Memories, Matilda was once one of the many Arch Mages/Wizards that had a hand in Moonlight's creation.

She was also the most ambitious, and inspired by the Cookie's creation, she decided to bake a sun counterpart. Sunlight Cookie.

And so Sunlight Cookie(They/Them) was baked. The first beings they have ever interacted with are Matilda, and an assistant Cookie whose name they could only recall being Fritter(He/Him).

From there, they became close. Friends, Siblings, Family. Even if they shared not a single speck of the same dough and jam, and the only relation they have is being Matilda's creations, they care and love each other as family anyways. Fritter, despite being an anxious and clumsy wreck, is quite responsible and became an older-brother like figure for Sunlight.

But then something happened. Sunlight's body is... Faulty, as the dough is not meant to handle the untamable and near destructive nature of Sun Magic.

Despite Matilda's and Fritter's attempts to heal and cure, Sunlight perished immediately a few weeks after they were baked. Then reincarnated as Sunlight Cookie again. And again, and again, and again, and again.

It was unclear why it was always them who got incarnated as Sunlight Cookie every, single, time. But it didn't matter, it dragged on for so, so long, years even, that Fritter ended up wishing for Sunlight to stay dead and never come back. It sounded awful, he was aware, but you have to understand. He never once was given the time to even grieve their sibling's first death, and while you grow throughout the years, you watch your sibling come back and die over and over again for years and there is nothing you could do to stop their pain from being the host of Sun Magic and their inevitable death. The lack of response from Sunlight after Fritter said such a thing made him feel even worse.

(Sunlight understood where he was coming from, and frankly, they wanted to stay dead too. But they didn't say that, they didn't comfort him. That made Sunlight regretful and awful.)

And Matilda? She simply didn't care, or at least the piling failures and death made her so uncaring and indifferent to her creation that in Sunlight's last life as who they were, they cursed them with a sort of immortality curse to force them to stay alive, until she could finally figure out how to perfect the dough to host Sun Magic and have them stay alive and last longer.

That was Fritter's breaking point as he immediately hatched an elaborate plan to expose his creator to her family, peers, and higher-ups about her blatant abuse of Life Power, Creation, and a Life Form she herself had created. He succeeded, but not without losing his life in the process, and he didn't get to see the succession, let alone say one last proper goodbye to their sibling, but he hoped his life was a worthy sacrifice.

Sunlight passed on, but they came back as DanielGingerDozer. Memories of past lives were fogged and blurred, but the resentment remained. So did the fondness he had for Fritter.

He didn't expect to come back as someone else for once (he hated it. He just wanted to pass on, not reincarnated again. It felt as though the deities were toying with his soul for their own divine entertainment.)

But it was even more shocking (and perhaps horrifying), that Fritter came back too. As someone else, GabrielGingerBrave. But not a single memory from his first life it seems.

It didn't matter, as Dozer planned to leave the past behind for good. But that didn't mean he won't care for his (biological) brother. It's time he returned the favour anyways.

I also have a fic in my docs about this. It is short and simple, I might post it here after editing a few things, or leave it to one day be posted as an interlude in my fic.
