Gonna be honest, may have tried searching for fics on ao3, thought this ship was interesting to research. Now as an AroAce my shipping abilities ain't the best so here we go-

I could see it as a once one-sided, love interest from Spider Queen as a more of like a celebrity crush maybe? Like you have a crush on them because they are like cool and unattainable. (Is that how Celeb crushes work??)

Now with their history, as in Spider Queen kidnapping the Pilgrims and threatening to eat Tripitaka (JTTW don't quote me haven't gotten to this part yet), definitely toxic relationship, but as in a works out ish way? Like the Cid and Shelby friendship in Best Friends Whenever, sorry if ya dont get that reference.

Like they probably aren't good influences for eachother, but like so chaotic and opposites it somehow works.

As a platonic Frenemies ship, I'll give it a 5/10, personally think it be too weird and too much bad history, if taken the fact of s2. But it's intriguing and chaotic enough that I think it somehow maybe work In a weird way, definitely would be hilarious

DC X DP: the Flash family keep messing with time travel. Clockwork keeps making the Phantom family fix time related problems. These two facts mean that whenever a Phantom sees a Flash, they immediately start throwing hands.

Bart was crossing the living room quickly when Dani spotted him. In an instant, she transformed and flew across the room to tackle him with a shriek. They both landed on the floor and then they were wrestling like a pair of tantrum-throwing toddlers. Thankfully, neither of them was out to kill, but Cassie stared at them in exasperation.

"C'mon, you guys, again? It's only 8 AM."

Kon flew into the room, pausing at the sight of Dani and Bart fighting on the floor. He had Tim slung over his shoulder as he slowly drifted back to the ground.

"Uhh... are they fighting again?"

Cassie nodded, chewing on her breakfast.

Kon sighed, dumping Tim onto a chair. Tim was snoring and with him still sleeping, Cassie gently placed a piece of waffle into his open mouth with a smirk.

Kon shook his head as he put his hands on his hips. "Why are they always doing this?"

"Something about time travel, missions, and rivalry? And the speed force?" Cassie answered.

Tim sat up, chewed on the piece of waffle that Cassie had put into his mouth, and then mumbled, "It's because when the Flash family use their speed force powers, they mess with the timeline and the Phantoms have to go fix it. It's happened so often that now there's an attack-on-sight for any of the Flash family."

Kon blinked. The other two were still fighting and it seemed as though Dani was winning because she was choking Bart with her elbow.

Everyone ignored it.

"Wait, how do you know about it?" Kon asked.

Tim reached for Cassie's plate for a piece of egg. "Her brother keeps attacking Wally every time they see each other when they visit Dick."

Soukoku has ruined it for me...

Any other pairing for Chuuya and Dazai in whatever context you wanna take it - platonic, romantic, found family, soulmates, enemies, frenemies etc etc - one can't be without the other or in the same capacity what they have with each other...

Like, I can never imagine Dazai getting frustrated with anyone and downright saying to their face - 'You're no ray of sunshine either' - other than Chuuya

or Chuuya ever saying - 'I used corruption because i trusted you' to anyone other than Dazai (tbf, he literally can't say even if he wants to, unless it's another nullifier)

or Dazai spending day and night, thinking up ways to annoy anyone but Chuuya

or Chuuya doing a rich girl impression or equivalent just because someone said he will do so

or Dazai talking about how anyone's ability is too overpowered and its final form, sound equal parts smug, fond and worried

or Chuuya looking at any agency fight and thinking, if it was Dazai there won't have been a fight to begin with

or Dazai planting a bomb under any of his friends/colleague's car, fully certain it won't harm them

or Chuuya shooting his subordinates out of their discussed plan, just to shut them up because they were getting cringe

Or you know - the in general - devising a whole plan, heading into enemy's side, getting stabbed with poison and trusting the other will save you, without any sort of communication what so ever.

And the said other person, doing exactly as was expected of them and activating the uncontrollable part of their ability, without any confirmation of the only person known to deactivate is even alive.

One shotting the other in head, the other letting it happen.

One trusting the other with their humanity, and other making sure to keep it intact.

One getting kidnapped and leaving a clue that only the other could connect.

I mean, you could argue one or two of these things can happen with either half of Soukoku and someone else, but all of these?

They may have n number of different kinds of relations with all the other's from bsd verse, but what they have with each other is unique and it's only them who will have that kind of thing...

I'm not saying they are a ideal - friends, enemies, couple.... Partners

What I'm saying is, what ever they are to each other - is the best they will get... it's one of a kind - only piece available in the whole world

I don't know which one is Saint and which one is Shin in High School Frenemy, and I'm not looking it up on MDL, but watching this show and their love story unfold from my dash has been glorious. One of them broke the other's leg causing an end to that one's soccer career, so the one with the broken leg got the kid in the divorce, but now the breaker of the leg is back, and the one with the (previous) broken leg isn't even mad that the other one broke his leg but that he left him! So now they are on a rooftop having a moment of *feelings* (yelling at each other and getting punched), and it's amazing!
