mmp is soooo smart for how many seeds about thap's ex it planted throughout, making the way in is feeling right now 110% understandable. thap's mother talked to in about his soulmate as if he was dating him at the time and you can clearly see that she is very much still convinced they are meant to be together. not only did thap drunkenly reveal that his ex broke up with him (rather than the other way around), he sounded like he was still affected by it. he almost crashed his car when his ex's song came on. he kept the post-it note in his textbook. a lot points to the fact that he still cares. add to that the fact that his ex broke up with him for stupid reasons AND for the exact same reasons thapin clashed in the first place. except fortune telling is a core part of in that he cannot part with, but thap's ex can easily show up, say the break up was a mistake, and that he doesn't trust fortune tellers anymore - just like thap. even the blood thing feels so fucking annoyingly serendipitous. like, seriously? he is one of the few people who can save him? while in, as helpless as he already feels, can't? my poor boy 😭
