#forsaken warrior cats

I saw someone drew the survivors in Forsaken as Warrior Cats... So I drew the killers as such. It's a WIP.

I haven't drawn cats in a while, so there's a lot of inaccuracies- I also came up with an AU idea for this oh GOD.

Anyways- Have a rundown for my headcanons here:

+ For the overall just of it, they're not exactly alive. No doi. They exist in a sort of purgatory, where the survivors are stuck in as well. {{ Still working on this part tbh }}

From left to right;

- John Doe, or "Johnny":

- Age: Adult, well over 40 moons

- Breed: Mix

- Farm Cat

- Design is based on John Doe in Forsaken, and has mild inspiration from the 'Scavenger on the Wind Infection AU' MAP.

- Was once a humble farm cat who lived with his beloved mate, Jane, Johnny now prowls the hellscape he resides in. After 'dying' to a barbed wire fence, he was cast into this unfortunate land, where he has no memory of Jane, the life he lived, or of anything before. He's nothing more than a pawn for a higher power, to play its games and to keep it entertained.

- 1x1x1x1, or "Malicesong" {{ Idfk man. }} :

- Age: OLD AS HELL. He existed as a spirit for a while before entering the realm.

- Breed: Maine Coon mix, possibly with an Turkish Angora.

- Ex-Clan cat

- His design is heavily inspired by Tigerstar from the books, as well as his backstory, as it's fitting for this AU.

- He was born into a clan, taking a liking to his strange father. His father, while kind to him, kept his distance most times. It wasn't because he hated him, no. It was because he was scared of the little kit. There was... an evil to him. He grew to notice and felt betrayed by his relative. The anger welled up inside him, and when he was a warrior, he left and chose his own name Edgy as hell but okay, Malicesong. He tormented his old clan, until finally, his father defeated him by leading him to dogs. His dad, Fowlscratch, watched as he was mauled. He was never the same afterwards. Malicesong continued to roam, tormenting his dad in his sleep, before he mysteriously vanished. Confused, he stumbled into a clearing where he was offered a chance to be able to physically torture him...

He accepted of course, eager to see the pain and suffering from his kin at his claws and teeth...

- C00lkidd, or "Redpaw"

- Age: 7 moons at death

- Breed: Mix

- Clan cat

- He's based on a kitten. Not much else lmao.

- An abandoned kitten that showed up one day at the entrance of the clan's camp, he was immediately taken in by an older tom, Bugstrike. While the tom was an outcast for previous misdeeds, he truly cared deeply for the kit, naming him Redkit after his bright fur. He would follow him around, check in on him every night, and play with him as much as he could. Redkit was troublesome however. He liked to torment the medicine cat, Rushfur, and would play roughly with other kits. He had immense strength for his age, often resulting in trouble for him though. One day, when Bugstrike wasn't looking, Redpaw had decided to wander off. He eventually found some prey, and started chase. He was led to a monster path, where he was hit by a 'monster'. The clan was torn, but none of them as much as Bugstrike...

Redpaw almost went to Starclan, until he was snatched by a dark force, bringing him to a place of endless pain. When he met his father again, he was ecstatic!...

- Jason or... Yeah, just Jason

- Age: 35 moons at least

- Breed: Pure-bred Sphynx

- Ex-Bloodclan cat

- Literally based on Rock from the books design wise. Otherwise, he's mildly based on a Warrior's AMV, with the song, "You're Gonna go Far, Kid."

- As a kit, Jason was no stranger to the violent ways of creatures. He was thrown into the chaos of Bloodclan as soon as he was born. Raised alongside cold killers, he quickly became cutthroat and rose the ranks. There was only one cat he held dear to him, and that cat, was his mother. It's unfortunate he had to watch his mother perish for their rules. Resentment and anger fueled him, and he slowly distanced himself from the group he was raised in. He could still hear her voice calling, and calling, and calling. Jason decided to take revenge on anyone who lived by these rules. Killing, slowly, but surely...

It's unknown how he truly ended up in the Forsaken realm. Perhaps a cat finally killed him? Perhaps he died burning alive? Who knows...

EXTRA BULLSHIT!:

- Jason wears the skull of the cat that executed his mother.

- Redpaw looks up to all three of the older cats, but only Jason really takes care of him. Malicesong and Johnny prefer to just train him for combat.

- Malicesong likes to tease his victims before finishing them.

- Redpaw enjoys telling everyone everything about his father... Much to their annoyance.

- Johnny likes to swim, but can't really do it anymore.

- Jason is still very silent. He does mutter occasionally, but if he is caught doing so, he'll make sure to sound incoherent.

- Johnny and Malicesong... May or may not like to sleep in a pile together... /hj

- Redpaw has a cousin... Icepaw. You should know.

- Malicesong might be a bit blind.

HollowClan is a clan that has relocated into an old maze of tunnels and burrows. The clan before was once mighty, but after a flood drowned their old homes, the clan lost many members.

StarClan had sent this flood as a sort of divine punishment for getting too cocky, and they saw the clan's continued survival to be a slight. They have decided that from now on, all cats of HollowClan will be sent straight to the dark forest. A young cat of StarClan, Troutpaw, spoke out, saying that this was cruel and unfair. For her tongue, she was thrown from the stars, left to wander under the stars in shame.

Ukrainian resilience always astonishes and inspires me at the same time, and this is only a small example, one of many thousands over the literal centuries of russian violence on Ukraine.

The way its just a massive middle finger to russia, too. Russians shot bullets at a fence, meaning an individual attack on an individual property. All but shooting at point blank. And the Ukrainians drew flowers over the bullet holes, as if to say "You may hold us at gunpoint, but even at gunpoint we will stand strong. We will paint flowers over the bullet wounds. We will smile, despite how much you keep taking from us."

It will come back to bite russia in the ass, one day, i hope that day is soon. And russia will not be able to smile once at the other end of the gun, both as a sheltered perpetrator and as a witness to the fact that it deserved this, it started this, it always does. i hope people will plant flowers on its ruins, and only remember it as an example of history to never repeat.

Cats of ReefClan

Some designs I had made for a now defunct file. All of the cats except for Cavemist were renamed by me lmao, I wanted the names to be on theme. Ospreykit became a warrior and I named her Ospreydusk, Pelicankit became Cavemist’s medicine cat apprentice (decided by the RNG) and I named him Pelicandawn.

The story I had made was that these cats were originally from a clan called CliffClan, but their territory was made unlivable by Twolegs and a fire broke out that had killed the majority of the clan. These 7 jumped into the sea below the cliff and stayed afloat on a fallen tree, eventually washing up on a faraway shore. Seaspray was made leader at only 16 moons because he was the son of CliffClan’s leader, Galestar.

My inspiration for the story came from the song Alone and Forsaken by Hank Williams.

The file is now defunct because at some point Seastar’s personality changed to bloodthirsty and I hadn’t realized until after I had saved over it and the story turned an entire 180 degrees and I just hated how it ended up. But I had already drawn these up and I really liked how they turned out so I’m posting them anyway.
