I'm amab transmascfem and intersex.

I had to to fight (and still have to) to claim my femininity and my masculinity.

And for some reason a few perisex trans people decided it's ok to shit on us with sentences like "you're not actually trans", " you have an unfair advantage" while others say "i wish i was intersex too so i had an easier transition".

Yes, for some people some parts of a transition might be easier.

But not for all of us. And having to undo what doctors did to a lot of us with unnecessary surgeries on our genitals and forced HRT as kids is not a privilege. It's medical abuse and malpractice.

A baby/child cannot consent to these practices.

I for sure did not and would not have consented.

Even in cases where some of us had the later preferred optics of their bottom parts already forced on them right after birth that doesn't mean they function properly.

I experience pain and/or discomfort most of the time and it gets worse whenever I get an erection. Not that I'm able to have one at all 50% of the time and even then I can only hope it lasts.

To me being intersex is part of my identity and i wouldn't change that if I could. I just wish doctors wouldn't have done what they did to me and that perisex people would stop only talking about or over us instead of talking with us.

We as a group of people don't have it automatically better or worse than others.

We don't have privilege or an unfair advantage over perisex trans people.

We're just people who struggle for freedom and equality like everyone else

So pls, start actually listening to us instead of treating us like shit.

And if you consider yourself an ally to intersex people pls speak up and educate others whenever you see other perisex people being intersexist or simply ignorant.

The worst thing is that there is so much potential for exploring the horror of psych wards from the angle of medical abuse, ableism, forced treatment/drugging, loss of autonomy, power imbalance, demonization, dehumanization, etc, and YET the horror genre keeps defaulting to "insane asylums and psych wards are scary because there are mentally ill people in there"

I don't think the deliberate physical destruction of millions of mentally ill and mentally disabled people's brains, often without consent, frequently just to make them easier to manhandle, is a laughing matter. Intersex trans man here.

I wish other trans men would quit wishing for my issues, im afab but have a whole bunch of hormone disorders.

I have excessive T that has started masculinizing me, though mildly. I got facial hair, my hair is thinning, my fat distribution has changed. Im getting practically everything but a dropped voice, i even gain muscle easily. But i also have SO MUCH that my body doesnt "use". Its giving me emotional issues and fucking up my organs.

I had excessive estrogen as a child to the point of early development and a lack of any body hair for a long time. I hate how it swapped and now my body doesnt process estrogen properly, im in so much pain and fucked up constantly.

Im just. So sick of the borderline fetishization of intersex bodies, i dont even know how i looked at birth because i was born deformed in other ways too. They could have done anything to me and nobody wouldve known, the hospital i was born in still used paper records, we cant get documents for most things from them because they were destroyed. My family tried to get records from my birth for other reasons.

Sorry for the huge rant-vent, ive been super upset with the community lately, other things going on in it arent helping. Idk if this is TMI to be posted lol.

Even when one can argue that someone might harm themselves if left to their own devices, there's still no way around the fact that losing basic autonomy and being locked up and medicated against your will is traumatizing - not healing

i don’t get people who don’t ship hilson because like- what more evidence would you want to convince you that they were in love with each other? Seriously, apart form the kiss and the canonical sex etc etc, what more is there? Love confessions? Done. Over-protectiveness? Done. Self-sacrifice? Done. Longing, loving stares? Done. Everyone else being aware of the tension between them? Done. Taking care of each other during difficult times? Done. Being silly and cute only around each other? Done. Always, even after the worst of scenarios have taken place, coming back together? Done. Literally not being able to function normally if the other is unwell/ there’s a rift in their relationship? Done. Being protective of each other when someone dares insult them? Done. Giving up their EVERYTHING just to be together? Done.
