The comics is another installment of the idea that Crosshair sees perfectly in the dark, also inspired by @kalm5​‘s idea that they posted after we talked about how, if Clone Force 99 was such a top secret unit, that most clones, especially young clone cadets, wouldn’t know about them so The Bad Batch would probably became… some sort of Kamino’s urban legends amongst the clone cadets?

Clones obviously stumbled upon them one way or another but since they look different and probably the encounters were very brief that some sort of stories begun to form about them, then rumor mill would do the rest, blowing everything out of the proportion!

soooo question, i have an oc that i think would interact interestingly with yours, but unfortunately I am extremely bad at drawing. How (if possible) would I go about getting our oc’s interact? (If you’re okay with it of course!)

Sorry for such a late reply, but my life is a bit... stressful the moment as shown by my utter lack of any new posts (I have ideas for stuff, it's just... my work has run me ragged, so it's hard for me focus on drawing anything) v.v

To answer your question: I don't mind such "crossovers" at all! As a matter of fact there are few works like that already -> [LINK] <- which I absolutely love, like... a LOT!

I like any form of artistic expression - I'm just as excited for comics, drawings/paintings, written stories... the same goes with any skill-level. The most important thing in the fandom is to fave fun!

Just don't forget to credit and @ me if you decide to post anything, so I can appreciate it!

I've only known about the 347th and Commander Mercy for 4 hours, but if anything happened to them, I would kill everyone in this fandom and then myself.

I was going to be productive today, but now I'm sitting on my bed, kicking my legs like a school girl while rotating your ocs in my head. I'll be looking forward to seeing what else you dain to grace my dashboard with in the future (hopefully after I've gotten my tasks done).

@pyrolytical Thank you for your ask! I'm glad to read people find enjoyment in reading 347th regiment posts. Also don't worry! It takes me hours, often days, to finish a new drawing or a comics strip - plenty of time to get your tasks done!

One of Ro's jobs at Kamino cloning/training facility is being a coroner. He often preform autopsies on clone troopers that have fallen at the battlefield, especially when their untimely end is not so cut-and-dry case or marked by a possibility of new weapon being used by Separatists -> [LINK] <-.

However, sometimes Ro and his apprentice stumble upon "fatal freak accidents", so bizarre, so out of place and uncharacteristic of clones, their training and their culture, there is no other way to interpret them, than someone who tries to cover up deeper issues that plague GAR inside as well as outside - Overzealous trainers, unauthorized testing, civil unrest to name a few.

crocheting bandannas is really fun, i bet at least one of Mercy's men has made him one in battalion colors

This is one of the earliest ideas I had for 347th! The regiment has a lot of handmade quilts. Most of them are done by civilian patients during their recovery. Some of those were done by 347th members themselves who were either bored or in recovery themselves. Those men were taught how to knit/crotchet by the civilians, early on but more and more clone troopers learnt to knit/crotchet from their own brothers.

Wheelie is 347th regiment's quartermaster. He is an ex-ARC trooper, who is paralyzed from his waist down as he got critically injured during one of the missions early during Clone Wars. He is mostly stationed in Coruscant, since he doesn't have to be on site to keep supply chains running smoothly. The downside of his zeal in finding the best bargains, however, is that items he orders are of high quality, sure, but more often than not, from clearance since they contain misprints, tacky color palettes or are from failed merchandises -> [LINK] <-.

Since one of my favorite headcanons is that Crosshair sees well in the dark, I believe he takes Batcher for walks at night, since the beach on Pabu is mostly empty at that time (excluding some couples wanting to have romantic strolls that Crosshair and Batcher ruin on regular basis).

Mercy definitely doesn't have just one favorite bandana - he has at least several of those... if not more!

Sometimes it's the quality of the fabric he enjoys, sometimes it's the color/print but many times are stories attached to them - the truth is, he rarely buys bandanas - most of them are gifts.

So... apparently Anakin's Clone Wars armor is basically an Old Republic Jedi armor (from times where Jedi were more warriors than peacekeepers) that "he found in a storage".

This is my rendition of that idea: Anakin going to some sort of equivalent of Jedi Temple attic and finding an aged, falling apart, space!cardboard box with crudely written "war stuff" on it, like real-life equivalent of long forgotten container of Holiday decorations or old toys.

He reeks of the dusty/attic smell for at least few war campaigns.
