it’s the fact that the guy that would sacrifice eveything for any of the kids to stay safe, no matter how much strife or hatred or nasty words any of the parents could throw at him, is the one who feels like he has no one watching out for his own but himself. dapper is only an afterthought to the others. someone to remember only after all the terrible things have already happened. of course the halo family has others who they trust, but over and over again it’s shown that there’s a reason why q!bad is basically dapper’s whole world and why dapper is his sunshine

this is isn’t something new. they’ve both always shared this sentiment. dapper, the sole escapee off egg island, having only his dad at his side as they ran to that boat. and more recently, no one making sure dapper could ride out on the train with the rest of the islanders and eggs into the new server when they left that library

they “left me behind” and “just forgot me”

thankfully q!etoiles started to run back, but the fact that no one checked in the first place, that it seemed like q!etoiles was really the only one to notice even though plenty of others saw that dapper was online and around. q!bad is the only one who’s ever had dapper as priority number one in anything

that poor kid said it herself, she thinks she’s not one of the favorites. he thinks the others will be prioritized first. and they’re unfortunately likely right about that unless it comes to their dad

so the mantra continues; it’s simply dapper and q!bad against the world, to have each others backs, to live and die for each other

They're still mostly baby colors, which is all monochrome, but are juuust starting to get more colors like their underbellies and their heads are starting to lighten up, but will start shifting color eventually.

Which makes me wonder what kind of thing might happen if someone tries to study the realm hydras....

MK was so young at the time that all his memories of his "Mama" are scrambled, making him believe "she" was human.

I feel that the Ink Demon in this AU also torments MK by showing him these fractured memories, asking him if he ever wondered why his Mama gave him up?

And when MK realises that his "Mama" was really the Monkey King? He's running to find Wukong so he can hug him.

If Macaque doesn't grab MK into a hug first. Monkey Papa-mode has been activated, and MK's a crying cub needing a hug.

On a happier note; the Monkie Kids begin lightly referring to Wukong as MK's mother. At first it was a joke by Mei to break the tension, but Wukong has happily reclaimed the title.

I’m actually so excited if forever can run the server on his new pc. Cause I guess he was confirmed to be opening new rooms for the new eggs.

If any of the new parents have doubts about the Ninho (since a lot of them didn’t get to see it in action by the time they came to the island) he can be there to explain it and how it’s been the thing to help pomme keep her two lives and now help the others keep theirs.

I will forever praise forever cause he made this thing work and it’s such a huge milestone.

okay but watching pomme and richas' family growing RACE gets so intense. okay. look.

pomme: baghera, antoine, aypierre, kameto, etoiles, bad, and max (from aypierre) for parents; dapper as sibling; maxpierre twin babies for siblings. she has ten family members in total.

richas: forever, pac, mike, cellbit, felps, roier, and quackity for parents; foolish and vegetta as grandmas; and leo as an aunt. if we count bobby as richas' deceased step-brother, then richarlyson has eleven family members in total.

they both have seven parents in total.

pomme is catching up. richas its time to start whoring your dads out again. dont let her win

it's really sweet to see how comfy dapper is with bad (and this could also extend past rp and to the admin but obvi we cant know that). dapper loves showing off their knowledge and meeting new people, but his social battery gets drained faster than other eggs. bad always notices when dapper starts hanging back, and then talks to him one on one and always gives him an out. when dapper takes it, they go off together to build in a more quiet environment.

and its there where dapper acts so talkative and childish and cute! the perception dapper gets from the rest of the island is that he's this mature, tough, knowledgeable egg who is stuck wrangling his cringefail dad. and yeah, his dad certainly is cringefail, but dapper is such a kid around bad. how many other characters know that dapper throws tantrums and struggles with object permanence and hates when their dad leaves them without notice? its not the characters' fault for not knowing, it just goes to show how unguarded dapper is around bad. he loves his dad so much, and his dad is one of the few on the island who just get him.

So I had Sinsmas paused on my browser to do life stuff as usual, I Will Be Okay was in my head, and I walked back to my computer after life stuff and realized the frame I had it paused on was

Their positions aren't just similar, they're reversed. In "I Will Be Okay", Via is on the floor and Stolas's shadow is standing up, looking down on her and reaching a hand to her from above, which she swats away. At the end of Sinsmas, Stolas is kneeling on the floor, with Via looking down at him from above, and her hand resting on Stolas's, which she pulls away from.

AND THE PARALLELS AND REVERSALS DON'T END THERE

From what I could see, it seems like there's only one instance where the parallel doesn't totally apply.

I'm skipping through Roier's QSMP Day 1 VOD because I'm looking for a specific thing, and I just noticed that when Jaiden stands in front of the group to do her introduction and her mic isn't working, Mariana laughs (not in a mean way, I laughed too) and Roier immediately smacks him and tells him off for laughing.
