Help two disabled trans girls make it through July
Me and my wife had to completely drain both our bank accounts at the beginning of the month paying rent and back rent from last month. And we still have $675 in utilities and internet bills coming up in a week. I don't know how we're gonna be able to feed ourselves let alone afford our hormones and my wife's Ozempic($185 per 4 weeks)
We're already been out of hormones for weeks with not being able to justify refilling my prescription because of the financial pressure we've been under. We've both been completely cut off from any kind of familial financial support, mainly my parents essentially just telling us to "figure it out ourselves" when they know what we're living on isn't sustainable at all and not nearly enough to facilitate having savings for emergencies.
Meanwhile we've still had continuing hardships with my wife's dental health, she's still has over a dozen cavities, 4 chipped teeth and a broken impacted wisdom tooth that needs extraction as soon as possible. At this point she can only chew with 1/3 of her jaw very slowly and it really hurts me to watch her go through this every day
I'm trying to get a part-time job but currently all I'm being offered are internships that don't start til the end of July/start of August and I still don't know if there's any chance of me receiving any sort of salary or compensation for the job I'll be doing..

walkin’ out the door with your bags - grayson hawthorne x reader - part 3
⤷ “pardon my emotions, i should probably keep it all to myself”
wc: 3k summary: things are as normal as ever between you and grayson, and gigi comes up with a plan… a double date. a/n: sorry i’ve been SO SLOW with these updates 😭 i had to cut this in half because it was getting sooo long (the flashback will make a lot more sense in the next part lmao)
masterlist || series masterlist — other parts!
Tumblr media
the past…
you and your class were on a trip to a planetarium of some sort.
you had just turned 9 and entered your astronomy phase - that never ended up fully leaving you - and were absolutely thrilled. you had a permanent smile on your face the whole day.
it was now a break time, kids could spend their money on whatever they wanted; magnets, souvenirs, in the gift shop, and by far, the most popular choice: ice cream.
“are you not going to get any?” you asked the boy sitting beside you on the bench, before bringing your plastic spoon to your little cup, and then to your mouth again.
grayson barely looked at you, “no.”
“why? this ice cream is so good.”
he looked at the rocket keychain he held in his hand. he told you earlier he’d bought it for his youngest brother, xander.
“i’m not hungry.” he said flatly.
“yes you are, i can see it on your face hawthorne!” you pointed a finger at him, “you want ice cream sooooo bad it hurts, but you’re too scared of acting normal.”
“no i don’t,” he said, “and i am not afraid.”
“sure you are,” you said with an overenthusiastic nod, taking another bite of your ice cream.
grayson eyed you, “are you insinuating i’m not normal?”
you giggled, “yeah, because you don’t like ice cream. that, or you pretend to not like it. both are super weird.”
he furrowed his brows at you, absentmindedly twirling the keychain around his fingers. “…what if i simply haven’t had it before?”
your jaw almost dropped. there was no way that was just a hypothetical question.
“you’ve never had ice cream?” you exclaimed, eyes wide with surprise. when he didn’t respond, you continued. “woah, grayson. that’s actually kind of sad…” as your best friend it’s my duty to get you to try all the best flavors one day— and trust me, there’s a lot.”
“i’m perfectly fine without ice cream in my life.” he retorted, quite snappily too. “and without cavities. i’ve seen my brothers get a tooth extracted … it does not look pleasant, to say the least.”
you took another bite of your ice cream, “what’s life without a little risk— or too much sugar?”
he eyed you, “less trips to the dentist.”
the present…
it had been a few weeks since that hawthorne event, and things were back to normal with you and grayson. no more awkwardness, no more almost confessions, just you and your best friend.
you found yourself outside grayson's house, tapping your foot impatiently after ringing the doorbell twice.
you
— hello — bro — i’m outside  — no one’s opening the door — are you leaving me on seen??
you waited a moment, seriously debating whether to go home or not as you glanced  at your phone, watching the bubbles form and disappear.
grumpy blonde 👎
— No.
you
— …is this because i called you bro — sorry — sorry grayson davenport hawthorne***
*grumpy blonde 👎 reacted 👎🏻 to your message*
how fitting.
grumpy blonde 👎
— Do you not have a key? I had one made for you months ago.
you
— oh — well — i kinda lost it
grumpy blonde 👎
— I’ll have a new one made soon.  — I’ll be down now, apologies for the wait.
you
— aw — it’s ok oren just let me in — i think he feels bad for me LMAO
when the door finally clicked open, you barely took 3 step before you heard the front door shut close. the coldness of the house immediately hit you.
why was it always freezing in this place?
grayson came down within 10 seconds of your arrival, and 10 minutes later, you were sitting on his bed as he organized the new suits he had bought earlier that day.
so that’s why he was taking so long.
now, you just finished explaining the long winded plan you and gigi had been planning for a week now.
it sounded his worst nightmare.
you loved it.
“so… yeah. what do you think?” you asked, a coy smile on your face as grayson turned to look at you.
“you came all the way here to ask me to ask me this?” there it was: the eyebrow arch.
“well, if i called you or asked over text you’d just say no.” you shrugged, “but in person i can just annoy you until you say yes.”
“i’m not going on a double date.” of course he was going to say that. “nonetheless with gigi and noah.”
you sighed frustratedly, nearly falling back on his bed. “but why? it’s all friendly and platonic, and he’s actually so nice! i’ve even talked to him a little and—“
he quit reorganizing his suits and swiftly turned his head around to look at you. “when have you spoken to him?”
you laughed nervously at his intense gaze, “chill,” you said, “he just drops gigi off at our door sometimes, or waits outside if she’s about to come out.”
“i do some subtle interrogations of my own for your information, hawthorne,” you continued, your voice a little quieter, more meaningful. “youre not the only one who cares about gigi, you know.”
the knit in his brows loosened, and his eyes broke away from yours for a second. “you’re right. i apologize.” and just like that, his eyes quickly flickered away again.
his back as turned to you, “i do want gigi to be happy.” he said, knowing how gigi jokingly says otherwise. “however, not everyone has the best intentions. it’s difficult to not be wary.”
you watched him open a table drawer and pull out his glasses box. he put them on, and then took out his phone.
after a moment of silence, you continued your persuasion attempts.
“i know that, this’ll be your perfect chance to see what’s going on,” you said in a singsong voice towards the end, “and gigi already promised no public displays of affection between them, if you were worried about that.”
he just hummed, clearly not showing any interest in the whole ordeal, not wanting to discuss it any further.
you sighed again, and briefly checked your phone. you realised you would have to leave soon if you wanted enough time to get ready.
you still sat watching him, though. it looked like he was trying to inspect something closer on his phone - that, or he had really bad eyesight - because he squinted and pulled his glasses down his nose bridge momentarily as he looked at his phone.
he looked from his phone to you, “what time is this… double date happening?”
you stifled a laugh, “you look like a grandpa.”
he raised a judging brow, but you could see that smile creeping in. “i’ll repeat myself, when is this double date you speak of happening?”
“wait,” you realised what that meant, “you’re coming?!”
“i did not say that.”
you jumped up from the bed, beaming at him as you placed your hands on his arms,  “i knew you’d come to your senses!”
he tilted his head back but made no attempt to move. and maybe it was your imagination, but it almost looked like he was smiling.
“it’s at that one restaurant with the name i can’t pronounce and the weird logo, and gigi said to pleasewear something with colour, and that we should be there at 7!”
he sighed, looking like he was about to say something, but then he hesitated for a moment. his frown disappeared, and it seemed whatever complaints had too.
“i’ll be there to pick you up at quarter to.”
you blinked at him, your hands falling back to your sides, “quarter to?”
“6:45.”
“why didn’t you just say that then?” you joked. “quarter to,” you mocked him in a deep voice. “so extra”
“extra?” he asked with a hint of a laugh.
“you’re extra, grayson hawthorne.”
his expression stayed the same , “it seems like you have new words to call me every week.”
“yeah, ‘cause you’re easy to make fun of.”
grayson accepted that and managed a smile, and also seemingly ignored everything you had just said.
he changed the subject completely. “your glasses really suit you. have i told you that yet?”
you willed yourself not to smile as you tilted your head to the side, “are you being sarcastic again?” you brought your hands to touch the frames you had promised to wear, and have gotten so used to them that they’d become second nature.
“i wasn’t ever being sarcastic,” he instantly replied, but his voice was rid of any teasing.
you felt a few butterflies dance in your stomach, but you wouldn’t let that have any visible affect on you. “i’d believe that if you didn’t have such a good poker face.”
his smile faltered slightly, “why would i lie to you?”
butterflies at this point your stomach was turning into a mosh pit at the point, “because you’re my friend and you’re annoying.”
he nodded, that kind of slow nod that said that he wasn’t following what you were saying at all. “fair. good point.”
“when do i not make good points? ” you asked, half laughing as you took a step back, not giving him any time to respond before you called out. “actually, don’t answer that! and don’t forget to wear some colour!”
to your surprise, he actually did wear some colour. and somehow, the colour of his tie complimented your dress perfectly. his suit was a mix of biege and grey, with a stark white button up underneath.
and true to his word, he was outside your door at exactly 6:45. gigi had left the house much earlier with noah — they were going to some indie concert before the dinner.
when you and grayson were brought to your table, you shared a surprised glance. noah and gigi were already sitting down, and you don’t think you’ve ever seen two people looking more blissfully happy in eachothers company. they couldn’t take their eyes off one another, so enamored with eachothers company.
when they noticed you two, noah smiled nervously as his eyes landed on grayson, and gigi nearly jumped in excitement.
“are you currently working?” grayson asked noah, before raising his glass to his lips.
you felt so bad for the nervous boy, this had been going on for the past 30 minutes. he was adorable in a puppy sense, he reminded you of a pug, or a golden retriever, maybe, with his curly caramel coloured hair, and big brown eyes hid behind circular frames, that stayed on gigi for the majority of the time.
“yes!” noah’s voice picked up, before he heard his own enthusiasm and cleared his throat.
“i’m a, uhm, veterinarian.” he spoke more leveled, and grayson didn’t say anything, so noah filled the silence between the table.
“my parents own multiple law firms around texas and some other states, but… it was never what i really liked.” he said with an almost wistful tone in his voice, “my siblings are all lawyers, but i prefer dealing with animal problems than people problems.” he added, chuckling nervously.
“yeah! he’s the cutest with cats, you should see it!” gigis voice was full of enthusiasm as her hand lightly grabbed noah’s upper arm, “but he’s actually a dog person, which is totally okay, actually! opposites attract!”
they looked at each other and shared a small laugh, while you thought:
opposites?
they were practically written in the same font, gigis was just in bold, with a little cat emoji beside the text. they worked so well, gigi once told you half asleep at 3 am; “you know, i think i’ve missed him in my life before i even knew him. does that make sense?”
quickly being brought back to the present, you smiled warmly at gigi, and soon enough conversation flowed between all four of you.
it wasn’t long before you lost all track of the conversation as you zoned out on what noah was doing to his plate.
he was pecking at his food, seemingly separating the chicken from his alfredo on one half of his plate, and the pasta on the other half.
this was going on for a full 2 minutes.
grayson turned to look at you as he noticed your unusual silence, and his eyes followed your focused gaze.
he gave noah a very stern questioning look, and noah looked confused as his eyes flicked between you two, wondering why you looked so confused.
“what?” he asked nervously, almost hesitant before looking down at his plate. “oh,” he realised your confusion, “i um—“
gigi seemed to have picked up on what was going on, “—he’s separating the chicken from his pasta for me because he doesn’t like it, and because i’m obsessed with it! isn’t that right noah?”
a sheepish smile grew on his face, before looking at gigi with so much love in his eyes, it made your heart warm and leap for your best friend. “yeah,” he said, “that’s right.”
grayson hummed bedside you, “oh, of course.” he offered them a small smile out of politeness— an unusual act for him, but you assumed it was for rare occasions like these when he saw the sheer happiness beam off gigi’s face.
he must’ve sensed it too; they were an odd couple, but they worked perfectly.
as if on cue, gigi reached over with her fork, abandoning all the cutlery rules she had been taught as a child, poked the chicken with the utensil and waved it just infront of  to her mouth, “om nom nom,” she giggled as she looked at the curly headed boy beside her, non stop quiet laughter from the both of them as she put her fork down, not even taking the bite she intended.
you and grayson shared another glance, chuckling, but wondering what was so funny that they were still laughing— nothing objectively funny had even happened, she had just said one thing.
but you quickly realised that was one of the things that just wasn’t for you to get.
that was probably how people thought of you and gigi, you thought.
like when you’d be shaking with laughter with tears in your eyes over the stupidest things, and when someone would ask what’s so funny, they’d look at you strangely once you attempted to explain.
it was just for you two to get. and now, she had someone else to have that with.
you couldn’t have been more happy for that girl. she deserved it, more than anyone.
you were now thinking selfishly— wondering when you could experience that with someone you loved. even though you did have someone you loved so dearly: gigi, it was just like romance was just not in your playing field.
everyone you had talked to always expected something from you, or expected you to be someone you weren’t. that, or they just didn’t care.
you took your eyes to your hands, habitually fiddling with your fingers under the table to stop your thoughts from going any further.
it wasn’t the time to be acting like this. you looked up and your eyes found their way to grayson, who’s head turned just as his eyes caught yours for a split second.
he looked at his plate, gigi and noah’s laughter died down now, and grayson was already asking him another question about his life.
suddenly, you felt gigi’s leg nudge yours under the table, one of her ways of silently asking you if you were okay.
you nodded at her to let her know you were fine. and in response, she attempted to raise a interrogative brow — she told you she’d been trying to learn how to do grayson’s eyebrow raise — and then narrowed her eyes to comically thin slits.
“i’m okay,” you mouthed at her, but she gave you a look that said “we’re talking about this later,” before you both returned to the main conversation at the table.
the rest of the evening was fine, with the dim lighting and soft piano in the background and the quiet chatter from everyone else in the restaurant. you shared funny embarrassing stories
when the bill came, noah immediately reached for his wallet, fingers fumbling a bit as he pulled out his card. across the table, grayson was also pulling out his wallet.
“hey, it’s alright, i can pay” he said, glancing around the table with a nervous smile.
grayson briefly looked as he set his card down on the table. “allow me, it’s no worry.”
noah hesitated, glancing between grayson’s card and his own. “no, really—i want to,” he insisted, voice a little shaky but clearly set on it.
grayson shook his head lightly, "please, i insist.” the words were even and polite but left no room for argument.
“no, seriously, i have no problem paying—“
“and neither do i. please,”
“it’s okay, actually, i’d love to pay.” noah managed, scratching the back of his neck, looking between you, gigi, and then back at grayson.
your eyes flickered between the two like a tennis match. you and gigi exchanged a look, both stifling smiles as noah shifted uncomfortably. then gigi spoke.
"hey, how about i pay?"
both grayson and noah turned to her instantly, in sync, and said a definite, adamant,
"no."
you couldn’t hold back a snort, catching gigi’s eye as she rolled hers, before her face lit up with an idea.
finally, after an intense game of eenie meenie miney mo —suggested by gigi, noah payed.
grayson reluctantly put his card back in his wallet, tucking it back in his pocket as noah flashed gigi a nervous smile.
when they caught eachother’s eyes, grayson offered noah a slight nod, almost of respect. noah returned it with a smile.
you and gigi once again glanced at eachother. in both your eyes, that seemed like a success.

MUTUAL AID REQUEST: help me get dental work done ❤️
hi! i'm in desperate and urgent need of getting a few teeth extracted, but that stuff ain't cheap. the tl';dr is after wearing braces for 5 years and moving countries i stopped being able to see a dentist due to lack of public healthcare in the us and poverty making it extremely difficult to access care, especially dental care. so i developed some pretty bad cavities and as a result one of my teeth has fallen out in chunks, leaving only the roots inside my gums. my wisdom teeth need to be pulled as well but that makes the whole thing even more expensive so i'm settling for just getting the wisdom tooth adjacent to the other one extracted in an attempt to relieve some more pain.
for the past year and a half i have been dealing with increasingly unbearable pain because of my teeth and it can't go on any longer, the more i wait the worse it will get and it could cause the same to happen to other teeth.
for the procedure, transportation and recovery I'm trying to raise $600 USD. Anything you can help with, anything at all, is hugely appreciated and will help me relieve this massive financial burden. I know this is a difficult time in the world right now and people have limited funds, and I understand wanting to donate what you can to other causes. But I'm going to take whatever help I can get, because no matter what I have to get this procedure done.
you can donate through one of the following:

Hello everyone. I feel very embarrassed to have to make a post, but I’m dealing with some urgent dental issues that need to be treated ASAP.
I have two teeth that need root canals. The molar tooth might need to be extracted and done as an implant, but I won’t know until they look at it. I also have a bad cavity that formed last night (exposing some of my dentin) next to the other tooth that needs a root canal. Infection is starting to form bad in there, as well. I’m not currently in any pain, but I’ve been getting sick lately because of it.
Using the cost estimator for my dental insurance, the total [estimated] portion of my half for my treatments is going to be $1,455. This is including the two root canal costs, and the new cavity that formed. I’m going to see my dentist ASAP, so the total cost may be adjusted after he checks it out. That said, I believe that my estimate should be accurate.
I’m in a very bad financial situation where I can’t save up the money for the treatment. I’m almost $4,000 in debt, and struggling to crawl myself out of it while barely being able to pay for rent and bills. I’m not asking for assistance on that mess though.
I have a scheduled appointment on my birthday, on April 1st. However, I’m only going to be able to reschedule the appointment back by another month. I really don’t want to, though, because of my health being affected.
I’ll be updating this once a day, apologizing for the spam.
Goal: $20/$1,455
Cashapp: $deadnettled
I don’t have other payment methods yet, but I can look into them if needed. Even if you can’t donate, I have very little of a following, so reblogging would be extremely appreciated. If anyone knows of other resources for me to look into (I can’t do CareCredit), I would appreciate it also.

Briar Valley's Dental Team
Here is the Grown up!Sebek x Dental Assistant!GN!Reader ! <3 Idk if there will be a part two but this filled me in with so much joy just to write being a dental assistant myself. hhnngnjh i lob him your honor!!!
Next I will be writing Howls Moving Castle!Vil x Reader! <3 Stay tuned!!
~Bnuuy out!
Within the shady country of Briar Valley, between the cities of humans and the Fey, was a little dental clinic that resided in between. Seeing both Fey creature and human both, after their many years of peace did they finally come to an understanding of all;
Mouth hygiene.
At least, that's what you thought as you were inprocessed onto the team as a dental assistant coming from the Queendom of Roses. Yet, the clinic was run by only one dentist, three hygienists and you as their sole dental assistant after the last one had gone on maternity leave and ended up quitting to stay home and take care of their baby. In which a new dental assistant was in dire need right away just to keep the sanity of the poor dentist providing there, and poof! There you are! Oh my, he was so happy to see you on the floor once you were hired.
You’re probably wondering who your boss is, correct? Why! It's the one and only dentist who will see Fey-kind and humans at the same time! Doctor Zigvolt! He was perhaps a bit nerdy, a bit clumsy as well but he aspired to help both kinds of folk on both sides of the border in hopes of giving them a brand new smile! Removing teeth that were too sharp and poking into the cheeks of fae, as well removing wisdom teeth from humans who needed it. Removing cavities with such ease out of teeth and filling them back up with this resin based material seemed as if it wasn't even a chore for him! Though, all the years of doing this started to cause his back to ache with poor ethics of sitting while he worked.
Which is why you’re here! Your job was to set up a room, grab everything that was needed for your patient. Was it just an annual exam? Well you’re going to need a mirror, an explorer, and a PSR probe to see how deep the depths are within the gums to see if there's any bone loss or decay underneath the gumline! Oh! You’re removing and filling in a cavity? Time to get the restorative kit and his handpieces! Oh, its actually extracting a tooth? Easy! Time to get the oral surgery kit! Then, once you were all done and explained the post operative procedures to the patient of what they can or cannot do, time to clean up and wipe down, then set back up for the next patient!
Mr Zigvolt was easy to please as well while working, bring him a cup of coffee and he will just dote on you as if a loving father would; rustle your hair and thank you at least three times for the coffee before going back to signing his paperwork. Ah, the life of a dental assistant was never easy but it was always fun just making sure everyone you see is doing okay and helping them get out of any pain.
Life at the clinic was easy, especially when you made fast friends with the hygienists who cleaned the patients teeth. They were sweet older fae who have seen their share of working within the clinic, always bringing you in the latest gossip about the royal monarchy within the Kingdom of Thorns while you resided within a human town not too far away from the clinic which brings us to where we are today, and now.
“Y/n! I would like to invite you over to my home for a clinic party!” Dr Zigvolt stated happily as he turned to face you, paperwork of the last patient in hand as you were busy wiping down the room. You could only smile through your mask at him as you tilted your head slightly, a party at his home? You did hear the hygienists whispering that the doctor was thinking about a happy Organizational Day of just relaxing while getting paid!
“A party, you say sir? Are you sure you would like to invite me?” You started out curiously as you looked back down at what you were wiping down to continue to the job. The procedure was a bit bloody and you’re trying to remove any signs of any blood being within the room for the next patient's safety as well as yours and Dr Zigvolt’s.
“Yes! And if memory serves me correctly, you’re around the same age as my son! I would like you to meet him! He is always busy working and I am concerned he has no friends, unfortunately.” Dr Zigvolt’s voice got weaker as he rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. “Unfortunately, he is more of a mothers boy as well, so he doesn't really talk to me much. Yet, my wife has invited him to the party and he has accepted, so I thought I might be able to introduce you two!” Dr Zigvolt barked out proudly once more, nodding his head at the plan forming within his head. You and his son will meet and become fast friends, right?!
To you, it sounded like he was trying to set you up on a blind date with his son at this party.
“Sir, with all due respect. I do not need a boyfriend.” You stated out with a small laugh as you set down another item you had been so fervently wiping down. You knew about his wife, for Dr Zigvolt was so proud of her and had photos of her within his entire office. She was the daughter of a pronounced warrior within the army who fought so valiantly with General Lilia. It would be cool to meet his wife, but son? Although Dr Zigvolt was proud of his son, it seemed as if they weren't on good odds and you weren't all that interested in someone who didnt treat your boss right.
“Pleeeease Y/n! Its just for a few hours! And if you don't like it, I will call the guard to escort you home considering it will be at night and across the border into the Kingdom of Thorns.” With that, your gloves had been removed while he spoke as you had finished cleaning the room. Now moving onto putting barriers back up in the room. An invitation was placed down on your side table with Dr Zigvolts fancy handwriting having written out your first and last name. Now, you were a small team but still very tight knit together, perhaps a singular hour couldn't hurt? As well the fact you did want to go across the border into the Kingdom of Thorns for a while now.
“Fine, but only one hour, sir.” Was all you stated as you went out of the room to call for your next patient. What you didn't see was a proud fist bump into the air by Dr Zigvolt as he finally got you to agree.
.
The clinic was closed for today, for today was the night of the party that was being held at the Zigvolt's home. There was a dress code of dressing nicer than usual but not quite cocktail so here you were, wearing the most professional outfit you had that was quite comfortable within the autumn air. You sighed as you slung your back over your shoulder as you made your way outside your home, locking the door and promising to be back before ten. Your trek was not quite long but it was a decent walk across the border with your invitation in hand just to show the fey guards posted between the border where you were going. They both seemed to smile and nod their head at you in respect as they seemed to recognize the little dental assistant from the weird clinic that they get their teeth worked on.
Just as you arrived at the Zigvolt’s home, the sun was at the point of setting and causing a beautiful twilight to settle across the land as fireflies danced across the yard. Their home was quaint, a little bit off the road into the twisted woods that you thought you might’ve gotten robbed in but you reached the door with ease. Letting out a small sigh of relief, you reached up and gently knocked your knuckles against the wooden door, hearing the music faintly playing within the home as well as chatter and laughter rumbling out like thunder. Reaching up to knock again, the door swung open wide only to reveal an all too familiar face.
“Ah! So this is the presumed dental assistant I have heard so much about!” The woman shouted out loudly in which you could only blink rapidly at her tone. So this was Dr Zigvolt’s wife! Wow. She was tall. Letting out a small rasped chuckle, you could only wave slightly up at the woman looking down at you. Her face held scales and her teeth reminded you of an alligator fey from all the pictures but seeing it all up close made you more intrigued with her form- No wonder Dr Zigvolt is heads over heels for the woman.
“Good evening Mrs Zigvolt-” You started out before you were roughly brought in by the woman who began to laugh out loudly. On the couch were the three hygienists most likely whispering about the latest gossip, while Dr Zigvolt seemed to be placing out some baked goods onto a table that was already filled with so much food, all homemade, of course. With a tough side squeeze from Mrs Zigvolt, she laughed out heartily at your uncomfortable state of being squeezed into her side.
“Please! Just call me Sonia!” Mrs Zigvolt- Er, Sonia stated. You could only nod your head as she let go of you as you smoothed out your outfit easily after being crushed by the woman's embrace. So this was the party? Well, it seemed comfortable enough! Afterall, you did like your coworkers enough just to spend some quality time with them, forgetting the whole reason why you were even invited to the Zigvolt’s home. You found yourself on the couch in between the hygienists just loudly laughing away about some story that happened with a child ending up biting one of the girls while they were cleaning the baby's teeth. Yet, your laughter was cut off as you heard a booming voice coming from the kitchen.
“FATHER! I’VE TOLD YOU MANY TIMES!” A masculine voice shouted out as you stood up quickly, excusing yourself from the ladies who could only watch you leave before looking at each other with large smirks on their face. There goes their precious Y/n~
As you entered the kitchen, you saw Dr Zigvolt seeming to be crying pathetically as Mrs Zigvolt- Sonia- was holding her husband and glaring down at a mint haired man who was taller than Dr Zigvolt but not as tall as Sonia. He wore a pristine uniform and his hair was slicked back with such pristineness that if anyone had OCD, they would find nothing off putting by this man. Standing at the door, you tried to assess the situation quickly before stepping in fully, yet it all seemed too late. As the door shut behind you, the man spun on his heel to face you as you seemed to lose all air within your lungs.
Holy seven, he was gorgeous.
“ARE YOU THE PERPETRATOR MY FATHER IS TRYING TO SET ME WITH?!” His voice boomed within the room as you seemed to flinch slightly at the intensity of his voice before you huffed, crossing your arms. He was gorgeous with such a beautiful large frame, equally muscled to fit, scales on his face that seemed to define his jawline even more as his eyes seemed to bore into yours. Yet before his mother, father, or he could speak again, you instantly piped up.
“I am no perpetrator of Dr Zigvolt, I am his dental assistant. Now you don't have to shout every word you say, I can hear you just fine.” Wow, ouch. You stood your ground as you stared heatedly back at the man as Sonia seemed a bit shocked to see your spiteful nature coming out. Sure, her husband is a bit of a coward, especially when a patient is yelling at him so to have you calmly explain things to angry patients was an asset.
She was interested in how this night was going to go between her son and you.
“I… HOW DARE YOU-!” Sebek started out once more only for you to hold up a hand and shake your head. He was silenced into shock as you seemed to shush him! Baffled that you would even do a thing, his mouth seemed to just open and close like a gaping fish as he glared down at you.
“See? That's better. Now can you just explain why Dr Zigvolt is crying and why you are yelling?” Down to business is how you were, especially when you were in a rush and you were running behind patients and had to deal with unhappy patients all at the same time. So it was quite easy for you to navigate through a tense situation like this one. When hearing no one speak up, you could only sigh as you began to rub your temples, GREAT, this is exactly the type of relaxation you needed.
“How dare you try to speak to a royal guard of King Waka-sama’s like that! You should be punished!” The man roared out again, pointing accusingly at you in which you could only roll your eyes, ready to speak up for yourself only for Mama Zigvolt to step in. Hand reaching forward, she snatched up the boy’s ear and started shouting herself directly at the mint haired man.
“YOU BETTER STRAIGHTEN UP AND INTRODUCE YOURSELF, YOUNG MAN. DO NOT BE THROWING YOUR TITLE LIKE THAT AROUND TO OUR GUESTS. APOLOGIZE NOW.” Sonia’s voice was even more powerful than the man in front of you, startling you a little bit as you only heard ringing in your right ear for a few seconds as the mysterious handsome man seemed frustrated for a few seconds before turning to face you with an annoyed huff.
“My name is Sebek Zigvolt! And I am a royal guard to the King of Briar Valley! The Great and Wondrous Malleus Draconia!” Sebek shouted out, but not quite as loud as last time. You could only nod your head as you sighed out slowly. Perhaps you were done socializing now, as you also glanced at the clock, it was already nine. Perhaps it was time to go. Afterall, you had just remembered why you were wanted here, to see if you could make friends with your boss’ son but seeing how it was proven otherwise, you doubt you would like to stay any longer.
“Thank you Mrs Sonia and Dr Zigvolt for having me over. I think I shall make my departure back home now.” With that, you bowed your head respectfully as you began to make your way out and saying goodbye to everyone, leaving a very baffled and upset Sebek behind you. How dare you ignore him! Especially after getting shouted at by his mother to greet you! And be nice to you!! Sebek could only glance over at his mother who only glared down at him. He knew that look, and how he hated it.
So here you are, side by side, walking down the pathway back to your home. The walk was silent as you carried a basket filled with goodies from the baking and cooking of the Zigvolt’s. This easily could’ve fed you for an entire week with desserts too, including sharing some with your cat, Grim! The sky was void of any clouds as the stars seemed to twinkle even brighter above the two of you as you walked along, only listening to the gentle breeze rustling the bushes and the leaves within the trees until you cleared your throat slightly.
“So… Sebek, was it? Why are you walking me home again?” You asked out softly with a tilt of your head, trying not to sound too awkward. Afterall, you could’ve just called a friend to come get you, or paid for a carriage to take you home. Yet, here you were, walking side by side with a very stoic and stiff man who seemed to be alert of all the surroundings. The silence minus the leaves rustling followed suit, finally after a few seconds, he began to speak.
“I was tasked to guard you home in making sure that you are safely escorted! There have been a few kidnappings reported recently and Mother–... I was tasked to keep you safe.” He finished his statement while crossing his arms in front of his chest, as if proud to state that he was put in charge of your safety just like he was protecting Waka-sama. You could only roll your eyes and sigh, as much as you hate his presence on this walk, it was quite nice to actually have a guard with you. As for the recent kidnappings? You were sure that his mother just said that just to force him to go with you. Nevertheless, you were glad you weren't alone on this cold windy night.
As if the jacket you were wearing wasn't warm enough for the chilly autumn air, you let out a small shiver from chattering teeth. Though you tried your best to play it off as in stating how you're more frightened of the dark than cold, but with the visible puffs of air in front of your face being drifted away in the wind, Sebek could tell that you were lying to his face. Yet, wise words from Master Lilia reminded him about chivalry and how it's not dead, or how a Knight is to even look out for the smaller, more unfortunate folks…
“Here! A GRACIOUS OFFERING! I REQUEST THAT YOU GIVE IT BACK TO ME ONCE YOU ARE SAFELY TRANSFERRED BACK TO YOUR ABODE!” Sebek shouted out loudly as he removed his top layer of a coat and handed it over to you. If your cheeks weren't already pink from the chilly air, they were now as you gently set the basket of goodies down to wrap the jacket around your form. The jacket was way too big for you but it was very warm as you could smell the hints of cologne and what smelt like the fog rolling over mountains, warm and earthy. Muttering a small ‘thank you’ to Sebek, he only turned on his heel away from you as he began to walk ahead of you by two steps. He was trying to hide the small blush on his face because he did not need you gossiping to his father how a mere human made him blush!
Home was in sight not too long as you crossed the border, the lights flickering within the windowsill, a beckoning warmth towards you on the horizon as you could feel your tired feet urging you faster to your home. A snap of a twig to your right caused you to jump slightly as you looked into the forest with some fear etching into your skin- Maybe you were wrong and there was a kidnapper out there!? Frozen in place like a deer in headlights, you felt a hand appear in front of you as Sebek was instantly glued to your side, hand pushing you behind him as he had his sword drawn. So this is what it meant to be a Knight?
“COME AND SHOW YOURSELF AND I MAY SPARE YOUR LIFE!” Sebek shouted loudly towards the forage of the forest lining the streets only for another snap of a twig to echo closer to the treeline. Almost as if whoever Sebek had yelled at got scared and took a step back, only causing you to step a little closer to Sebek who could only grit his teeth as his cheeks were roaring pink once more. Eager to just get you out of his sight just to avoid this fluttering feeling in his stomach, he took a step forward with his sword raised only for a squeak to come out from a bush.
A squirrel hopped out, dodging the both of you and eagerly running away to the other side of the road to the other treeline and disappearing.
Ah.
“YOU SHALL NOT SPEAK OF THIS TO ANYONE, HUMAN!” Sebek yelled out loudly at you, looking over at you with a frustrated crease in his eyebrow only for you to slowly nod your head and chuckle. You could keep that promise due to the fact that you refused to admit to someone that you let your boss's son protect you from a little woodland creature.
Finally, the walk home was over and you were at your doorstep. Turning to face the guard who protected you so fiercely, you could only clear your throat. What do you say now? What could you even do now? Tell him thanks? Go away?
“My coat, human.” Seems like he beat you to it, snapping you out of your daze as you realized that you were still clutching onto the jacket with one hand that was still draped around you and your other hand holding the basket of goodies. Ah.
“Sorry. I was lost in my thoughts… Uhm- Thank you Sebek, for the coat… And for protecting me.” You stated out softly as you removed the coat from around you and handed it back to the awaiting male. A huff came from him as an air of smugness seemed to form around his body.
“Oh! So a mere human knows manners! Lest you forget this day, I will be returning every once and a while, and I demand your appearance at my home so that you will never forget how I guarded you!” Sebek laughed out, nodding his head at his great idea. Afterall, he spent a lot of energy on an unworthy human who couldn't even grace his Master's presence! Although for you, it sounded completely different.
“It just sounds like you’re trying to court me and making sure that I see you next time you visit…” You grumbled out with a small defeated sigh. Whatever. This was fine, right?
Though Sebek was not ‘whatever’, he was not ‘fine’ either!
“YOUR ACCUSATIONS ARE WRONG! DO NOT JUMP TO SUCH PRESUMPTUOUS ACCUSATIONS, HUMAN!” Sebek roared out, flustered that you would even dare bring up such a topic just because he requested your presence just so he can feel your eternal gratefulness for this night! Maybe also the fact that you are deemable interesting enough. Though, he would never admit that! Even if Lilia-sama asked! Though, he would spill the beans to his Lord.
Chivalry isn't dead, right? You could only chuckle and roll your eyes, leaning up onto your tippy toes as you cupped his cheek as you pressed a kiss to his cheek. You could feel his cheeks warming up fast as he took a step back, baffled that you would even do such a thing!
“Thank you, Sebek, the most chivalrous knight I know. I hope my kiss is full repayment for your deeds tonight.” You stated out, this time you were smug in how this came out and how the tables have turned. The compliments plus the embarrassment of getting a kiss just due to him being chivalrous caused his face to turn bright red. Yes… He supposed he would like to see you once again…
“Goodnight… Y/n.” Was all he could mutter as he stood at your doorstep, watching you close your door and turn off all the lights in your home for the night.
'Until next time we meet, Y/n...'

I looked away for an hour to watch a movie…. WTF?!??
Anyway on the topic of weird stories:
A funny story is that one time at a fencing summer camp that I did one kid got stabbed in the privates and the instructors still counted it as a point.
On Christmas of 2023 I hit in between those to parts of my elbow on a sliding door handle and it felt like my hand was on fire. I put an ice pack on my elbow and it was still a bit pins and needlesy and now as I sit six months later with my elbow resting on a pillow I am still feeling the long term effects of nerve damage.
In school one time a kid called me an f-ing r word for asking him to leave me alone.
On the last day of school that year there was a water balloon fight and he snuck a squirt gun into school. He then hit me in the chest with it and my friend who we will call Ino in the arm with it. I had to go to the office and fill out a report because of it.
In kindergarten I tripped on the playground and hit both of my knees and hands on that weird rubber material. My left knee was gushing blood and I had to go to the nurse. I proceeded to have scabs on my knee until second grade because I kept picking at the scab.
In second grade I had to get a tooth extracted because of a cavity but because it wasn’t gonna come out naturally any time soon I had an expander in my mouth until fifth grade.
PS. This is technically from two whispers so I’m putting both of the names.

Ok, absolute last one, then we are bacl to the characters...
Uh
This is one heavy last onr

Did you always know that you were going to be a dentist? And have you ever had a root canal before? Apparently I have to get one and I’m scared 😭
if there was ONE thing that i knew i wasnt gonna be- it was a dentist. i never went to a dentist until i was what- 18? That too for a cleaning. all i remember was my mom taking me and my bro to a free dental camp when we were kids, and all i saw was children with gauzes in their mouths and one side of their face swollen because they had a tooth extracted and they were CRYING!!!! and this one girl kept on pulling the gauze out of her mouth and her mom like warned her not to do it 3 times, but then when she tried to pull it out a 4th time, her mom SMACKED her face right in front of everyone- and i thought thats just a universal experience to anyone who went to the dentist. i did not let go of my mom's leg and begged her to lets just leave (thankfully we did, and fortunately neither me or my bro had cavities)
anyways, fast forward to applying for med or dental school. i thought i was dumb for both. i wanted to go to med school but the one i wanted to go to, i didnt get in. BUT the same school was offering me a seat in dental school so i got in, because it is one of the best dental schools in the country and also cause i wanted to save up on fuel because my bro went to medschool at that place.
honestly, i never thought i wanted to become a doctor. i always dreamt of going in arts, graphic designing or becoming a writer. I've always loved writing and reading stories, as a child i was soooo into horror stories- like any adult who would be telling a horror story and i'd be in a trance, staring at them without blinking as they spoke, as if i was the one who was in the story. then yall know the "english teacher praising your writing skills" lore and that really made me interested in stories.
There was this one line from x men where as the movie ends, xavier says "but every few hundred millennia, evolution leaps forward" and i thought it was SICKEST line ever. best believe i wrote that shit in the end of every story/essay and the teachers ate it up.
but then dad had already told everyone that i was gonna be a doctor, so.... yeah, i couldnt let him down because- he made it so public. it was intense. also i became a doctor because if i chose to become anything else, everyone wouldve constantly compared me with my brother because "he's the doctor, so he's smart. and youre just sooo dumb snow" and yeah.... i guess that was stupid because i dont really care what people think of me now, respect me or not. at the end of the day, only Allah can give or take away your respect. literally no one else can do anything.
as for the root canal, ive never had one done, but ive studied all about it. if its done by a good dentist, youre all good. get it done.

So my cat broke a lower fang clean off. I'm already going to take him for bloodwork tomorrow to prepare for extraction, but the best I can do for earliest dental extraction is next week without paying over $1000 at an emergency clinic, which I can't afford. I called many places. The receptionists didn't sound alarmed for my cat though, so that makes me wonder. While google says that a broken tooth can be an emergency, how risky is it to get it extracted a week later? I'm not planning on saving his tooth either. That I know is time sensitive.
vet-and-wild here.
Maybe it's a regional thing, but where I'm at we don't consider a broken tooth an emergency. I'd be curious to know where you're located (you don't actually have to tell us, I just think what you said is really interesting) because I can't imagine any ER around me being willing to extract a tooth. They'd probably prescribe pain meds and antibiotics and recommend follow up with a general practitioner. The reason a broken tooth is concerning is that if there is exposure of the pulp cavity (where the nerves and vessels are) it can lead to potential pain and infection. Sometimes we find a broken tooth on a physical exam just by chance. We don't know when it happened and the owner is surprised to hear that it happened at all because the animal isn't showing symptoms. We still recommend removal if there is exposure of the pulp cavity, because it could lead to further problems. And tooth pain sucks.
The only time we have to try to rearrange our schedule for a dental to get it done sooner is if the animal's teeth are so bad it isn't eating, or there is a broken tooth causing severe pain/infection. I can count on one hand the number of times I've had that happen, and of course one of them was my own dog. Otherwise, we can generally schedule it as a routine dental. Dentals with tooth extractions are pretty involved procedures so it's not something we can do at the drop of a hat. Unless a tooth is already super loose, we often have to burr away bone and make gingival flaps to get the tooth out. It also rarely makes sense (both from a financial and practical perspective) to just extract a single tooth and not do the rest of the dental (i.e. dental x rays, scaling and polishing, probing, etc) so we also have to account for that time too.

Here’s a reminder that if you have chronic illness(es) and your teeth aren’t “perfect” because of your symptoms— if they’re stained or cracked or have cavities you can’t quite treat yet, if they’re chipped, eroded or crooked, if your mouth doesn’t get healthy no matter what you do because you can’t control getting sick, if your disabilities get in the way of taking care of your own teeth, if your teeth have fractured from clenching too hard because your body is always under severe stress, or if your medications hurt your mouth, you are not gross and you absolutely deserve compassion rather than judgement.
I have to go to the dentist very soon because my body doesn’t know I’m in pain until it’s too late, and it’s not good. I have (incompletely) cracked two teeth because my body is constantly stressed so I bite down on my teeth like I’m gnawing on a billionaire’s ankles; I have some form of decay on my back molars because of how often I’ve thrown up. This is uncontrollable, no matter how much I take care of my mouth.
People say tooth aches are their worst pain ever, and that’s because they haven’t experienced nerve pain before. I have, and do, experience it often. But never in my mouth. I haven’t had a cavity since I was 12, I’m 23 and these are not from a lack of dental care. My enamel weakened from all the acid in my mouth, and antacids cause enamel erosion, gum recession and of course cavities as a result. Celiac disease affects the mouth too, along with my multiple medications that I can’t stop taking. My mouth is completely crowded on my bottom jaw because of my EDS, my wisdom teeth grew in sideways, even. I've managed my teeth for a very long time on my own, but now I need extra help and that's okay.
Teeth are a big deal, I know. They’re a huge source of insecurity, and it’s more than reasonable to be upset if their health changes. I get it— I had my good cry (okay multiple cries) about it, but I would rather have a healthy mouth than all of my teeth if it comes to an extraction. It isn’t your fault. The state of your teeth is not indicative of your morality and self worth. Even if you get the lecture from the hygienist, even if they judge you (which they should never do, but unfortunately they do) even if you are ashamed of your teeth and your smile you deserve compassion and care and you deserve to be treated kindly when seeking out dental care.
Bring something to make you comfortable. I’m bringing a squishmallow for my back and my JBL noise canceling headphones. I’m gonna be playing movie soundtracks while they’re digging in my mouth and I’m going to get the care I need and deserve. If you can, I encourage you to go see a dentist. Oral health is tied to your heart and to your brain. A mouth infection can be fatal if left untreated.
I had no idea that I had a cavity at all, and now I have to see if it’s salvageable or not! I feel shame, even though I did what I could, because I’ve been judged in the past even after disclosing my medical condition. It made me not want to go back, but I have to now and I have accepted that. It’s scary, I will be very nervous in the chair especially because my body responds differently to pain medication than others.
But I can do this, and so can you. You are not wrong, your smile is not gross, you are not dirty. So many people, so many young people have teeth problems too because of their illnesses. Whether you have all your teeth, only some, or none at all, your smile is so so beautiful and doesn’t need to be hidden. It’s a very hard topic to talk about, but I feel like if it’s talked about more maybe people will have less shame.

The time has come to say goodbye to Dino Tooth. I have an appointment this Friday to have him extracted, along with my other two wisdom teeth. He's got a big cavity that could cause bigger problems, and with how the back side of him is hidden in my gum, I can't floss behind him to get food particles out.
I'm really nervous because they are going to do IV sedation, and I've never had any kind of IV run, ever. I have no reference for how it's going to feel when they stab me with it. I've never even been stung by a bee, so I don't even have that as a comparison...

Hello I hear that you are a dentistry student.
Is there anything you know of slash can think of that could be done to make the bi-annual Dentist Experience less intense? I have autism and sensory issues and the whole experience makes me so nervous I get close to vomiting because of how uncomfortable it is.
Hello! Thank you so much for the ask.
Indeed, I am a dentistry student, finishing studies very soon.
Here's some things that might help you or someone else out, hopefully.
Hear me out. If possible for you, make it so there's the least amount of effort that needs to be put into your appointment by the dentist or hygienist. What I mean by this is: take care of your teeth properly. And yes, I know how difficult this can be, especially when you're going through a depressive episode or a particularly rough patch. No judgement here!
What do I mean by taking care of your teeth properly? The usual: brush at least twice a day and floss. But there's more to it.
Use fluoride toothpaste. Whitening toothpaste tends to be more abrasive and I generally don't recommend it for that reason.
Medium or soft-bristled toothbrush. It will be more forgiving if your brushing technique is a bit too harsh.
Start brushing on the lingual side of your teeth first. That way you'll prevent the buildup of calculus where it usually tends to collect. Therefore, you might not even need scaling on your next appointment.
If you don't have the dexterity or patience for dental floss, use flossers.
To help your teeth re-mineralize and perhaps even stop surface-level caries from developing further, use products such as Tooth Mousse that contains "liquid enamel".
Try to actually go to the dentist as often as they suggest you should. The dentist assesses the risk of you having cavities or gum issues and how often you should have check-ups. Dental work usually gets more expensive and invasive the longer you let yourself go without regular visits.
If you consume a lot of soft drinks, have an eating disorder, acid reflux or vomit often, do not brush your teeth immediately after getting your teeth exposed to the acid. This over a period of time will combine erosion and abrasion to the enamel and dentin and can be very damaging. Instead, thoroughly rinse your mouth with water, then fluoride mouthwash, and wait at least 20 minutes before brushing your teeth. I know it feels disgusting but it prevents damage to the teeth that might need fixing in the future.
When it comes to visiting your dentist/hygienist:
Inform them about your sensory issues. If they don't take them seriously or accommodate them, maybe it's better to switch to someone else, if possible. I know advocating for yourself can be difficult but a good medical professional will take it into consideration.
Nausea can possibly be prevented with nitrous oxide or antihistamines. The former is often used for more invasive procedures such as tooth extractions. The right kind of antihistamines can reduce anxiety and nausea. If you want to consider those, talk to your family doctor about them and see if it's a good fit for you.
If you're very nervous, schedule an introductory appointment that will only be specifically for getting used to the dentist or hygienist as a person and the environment of the office. Voice your concerns then. Going to a pediatric dentist specifically might be a good option.
Ask the staff to walk you through every step of the way so you're not surprised by the experience.
If you dislike the sensation of your tongue getting really dry while getting a cavity filling done, ask beforehand if there's a possibility of using a dental dam during the procedure. It might be uncomfortable in other ways but it will keep your tongue moist.
That's all the things I've thought of so far. I might add onto it in the future. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have and I'll try to answer them to the best of my ability. If you have any specific sensory issues and would like to share, I'd love to try and help out!

Cw: teeth, dental malpractice, vent post, don’t worry I have a competent team now
I’ve been going in to the dental school almost every week for more than a year now, getting major work done on about two-thirds of my teeth.
Thanks to the fun combo of weird recessive genes and literal malpractice, my teeth are messed up in interesting and expensive ways.
On the outside, they look fairly normal.
My hobby is watching the students quietly freak out when they see the X-rays.
There’s a committee of professors arguing about the situation with my lateral incisors. Still no agreement, because all options are bad. I was given incredibly botched dental implants when I was too young, and now there’s no obvious way to salvage the upper jaw without a risk of breaching through to the nasal cavity.
While they argue that over, we’ve been slowly working across my lower jaw.
Today was a consultation regarding the botched molar root canal. Because I’ve had dental malpractice on four completely separate occasions.
The endodontist started the visit by being like “Best practice is usually to save the tooth rather than extraction. We will take images and make a plan.”
and I was like, okay, so, FYI, Lidocaine doesn’t work normally on me, when the Third Malpractice Dude originally did this root canal he hit the maximum safe dose only halfway through and then tried to get through the next forty minutes of literally shredding my nerve ends with zero painkiller, and then he gave up and had me come back for a second session, and the same thing happened again, so please don’t do that to me a third time?
She was like ooookay, noted.
I was like so the other thing that happened was a tool broke off inside one of the roots, and the guy couldn’t figure out how to remove it, so he left it in there as packing material? I guess he was getting frustrated with my uncontrollable sobbing and just wanted to be done with that root. That must be how the infection got pushed down to where it’s currently eating at the bone, haha. Anyway that bit of metal is still stuck in there, plus he used another metal rod in the packing?
She was like that’s a complication, but I am an esteemed specialist in repairing root canals, and in the standard xray it looks reasonable.
I was like okay and also I’ve been told that my roots are in a really weird shape, and very close to the major nerve?
She was like well, the 3D images have almost finished compiling, we shall assess all of these factors together and decide.
The 3D images loaded.
We looked at the coronal view.
I was like “Wow. Obviously, NO.”
She was like “Let me help you schedule with Extraction. I have GOT to show this to the attending physician. It was lovely meeting you!”

reminder to everyone that if u have debilitating and sporadic tooth pain (acts up out of nowhere and is near-to-impossible to work through) and haven't kept up with dental appointments please find a way to get in literally right now. when i had this i found out i was MAYBE 2 weeks from my cavity-turned-infection from actually REACHING the nerve and no longer being ABLE to be fixed with a root canal. like. i scared the SHIT out of those dentists. the pain is because your tooth is decaying, as in rotting in your head, as in it's going to fucking kill you.
look, i'm not here to argue about money or anything else, i get it, you don't have to justify why you can't go to me. i'm just making sure ppl who DON'T know DO know that when the infection gets so bad that root canal or tooth extraction are no longer options that will fix it (and also BEFORE this point), you are in DANGER. PLEASE do anything within your power and go to the dentist RIGHT NOW.
