What an honor to celebrate the launch of The Acolyte! This is my fourth year working in the High Republic era and it's so exciting to finally see this era in live action! It definitely did not disappoint. Congratulations to the incredible cast, crew, and Leslye💞 A special thank you to the High Republic authors. What a gift to see the parts of the Galaxy you helped create come to life in such a magical way. We are all the Republic.

Azlin awoke. Though he knew he had been dreaming, that particular dream was born of memory. He had been to Kashyyyk before, when he was just a youngling; he and all his crèche mates had been taken on a journey to see some of the other planets of the Republic. Yoda had said they needed to understand the vastness and diversity of the galaxy that they would travel within and serve. Did the Jedi still do that? Take their younglings on such journeys of discovery? He felt a spark of genuine curiosity, untainted by fear—an emotion that had been lost to him, even in memory. Arkoff had told Azlin of one of his crèche journeys once, a trip to the salt planet Crait. He said there were beautiful crystal-white foxes there, that he had begged to bring one back to Coruscant as a pet but the crèche-keeper nurse Yenlit Elio had told all the children that the fox would be happier in his own home, with his own friends. Azlin had always meant to get around to seeing one of those foxes someday.

As the two delve further into their investigation, and the lines between the Jedi and Republic business blur, and Vernestra must reconsider what it means to serve for Light and Life.
