The Festival of San Gennaro, the patron saint of Naples, begins in Little Italy on the second Thursday of September and lasts a week. The main event is eating, as these folks were doing in September, 1958.

Street Food Festival
A random street food festival that sell many cheap food under $5. During this moment, went to grab a fried chicken leg and chicken skewer in cheap price. This is once in a while. Love their freshly-made chicken and skewers. Very crispy and smooth. Next, went for spicy popcorn chicken which is medium spice. From “Crispy Burger” and “Legend Chicken”

Beanfeast 2024 Programme Leaflet - design, page layout, collage & illustration
The term "Beanfeast" dates back to 6th July 1773, when King George III arrived at Woolwich by barge and proclaimed an annual holiday after enjoying an open-air feast of beans and bacon. Woolwich Works' modern Beanfeast was a unique recreation of the feast, 251 years later, with a food-filled programme curated by food writer Anna Sulan Masing. I had a happy chance to work with Anna again and first time working with Woolwich Works. I was asked to create the programme leaflet for the festival and they were very open with the brief, I decided to do a collage artwork for the cover with a cute playfulness of the beans and bacon, with bright and cheerful Summer holiday colours running throughout. The programme consisted of the layout of Woolwich Works and the schedule for all the talks, workshops, makers market and live music. Thanking Anna and Allison from Woolwich Works for this Summer project, and for being open and engaging with my designs.

Successful day feasting at the 2024 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. Standouts for me this year are the Roasted Warm Water Lobster Tail with garlic butter at the Coastal Eats kitchen (top pic) and the Tostada de Camarones at the Mexico kitchen (bottom pic).

National Pierogi Day
National Pierogi Day is an annual feast celebrated on October 8th of every year. The foodie lovers precisely the dumpling fans can celebrate this food holiday. Taste the delicious semi-circular dumplings made of unleavened dough on National Pierogi Day to complete the celebration.
“It’s a good thing that dumplings are small because Lee Anne’s goodies will make your willpower vanish as you reach for ‘just one more.” – Roger Mooking
History of National Pierogi Day
The first National Pierogi Day was celebrated on 2009. The plural form of the rarely used Polish word pierog is Pierogi. Pierogi can be spelt in several ways like perogi or pierogy and is known as varenyky. Pierogi are filled dumplings made up of unleavened dough around a savoury or sweet filling. It is semicircular in shape, traditionally stuffed with a mashed potato filling, potato and onion, potato, and cheese, cabbage, cheese, sauerkraut, mushroom, ground meat, spinach or fruit. The dough will be first boiled, sometimes baked or fried in the butter. It has the Central and Eastern European origin. These dumplings are popular in Slavic, Baltic, and other Eastern European cuisines.
Pierogi is the national dish in Poland and Slovakia. The dumplings will be served with toppings. It includes melted butter, sour cream, fried onion, sauteed mushrooms, or combinations of those ingredients. The Eastern European immigrants popularized pierogi in the United States. Pierogi was a family food among the immigrants and found in ethnic restaurants. In the post-World War II era, ethnic churches made freshly cooked pierogi as a staple fundraiser. Americans typically consider pierogi as a side dish and in other countries, it is the main dish.
How to Celebrate National Pierogi Day
Celebrating the National Pierogi Day is very simple. Enter your favorite restaurant and order some Pierogi for yourself. Know more about Pierogi and how to make them. Prepare it in your home for your family with different stuffings.

OMG! The Pickle Shake is AMAZING!!!! Its sweet and the dill is a very fresh and unexpected flavor to it. It's a lot though, so recommend sharing this one.

Nitrogen frozen Sweet Potato Mousse with candied pecans and caramel sauce. Wow, this was so good as well. Creamy like ice cream and the crunch of nuts added the perfect mouth feel.
Tumblr media
Perogies with kielbasa and sauteed onions. These were just sorta meh. Probably better fresh, which these were not. And that tiny piece of meat was laughable.
Tumblr media
Pan de elote with chocolate sauce. Another WOW for us. More like a sweet corn cake than cornbread that matches perfectly with the chocolate drizzle.

Grilled Greek Cheese with pistachios. I called this one the shit skid on a plate. This was just embarrassing. The picture on the right is what it's advertised to be. Tastes like the burned cheese scraping off a skillet.
