okay i have a theoryyyyy (can you even call it that??? i dunno probably not) about digital circus. i have thoughts happening in my brain right now and i have to put them somewhere.
basically, if we take the tone of the first two episodes and judge the whole show on that, i think it's gonna be a lit more wholesome than some people think. not pointing any fingers at anyone i promise, i'm just thought dumping.
just take a look at this for a second.
after pomni goes through hell, finds an unlikely friend, and loses him within a single day, she finally gets a moment of calm. of... probably not happiness, but she's alright.
the episode ends on a pretty high note, all things considered.
i think the whole show is gonna be like this. this is only the second episode and the emotional rollercoaster is nothing short of headache-inducing (in a good way). and somehow we're all crying happy tears at the end of it. i'd say that's a good indicator of how things will be next episode, or at least what to vaguely expect?
i'm honestly getting a more episodic kind a plot vibe from this. and i think there might've been something gooseworx said about that but i can't recall. lore-wise, we probably won't get much more than the emotional baggage all the characters are carrying, considering how pomni has probably already accepted that there is NO WAY OUT. she's not shown to be actively looking for an exit anywhere in ep 2 and she says literally nothing about it.
i think each episode will have pomni trying to not explode or something during an adventure, while also spending time with, getting to know, maybe even bonding with (willingly or not) the character the episode centers around. this is just speculation- waffles assumption station, if you will- but i just have a feeling.
pomni helps her fellow prisoners not go insane, like she does with gummigoo. i think he's a stand-in for every other character in whatever situation they find themselves in. like ep 3 is gonna be about zooble and kinger, so maybe pomni's forced to group with them and they all have some kind of vague heart-to-heart?
i dunno. once again, waffles assumption station (chug-a-chug-a-choo-choo). this is probably just me being physically unable to handle angst without a happy ending. and if this show has no happy ending, or at the very least if it doesn't have some kind of ambiguous or bittersweet ending, i WILL be crying oceans. i'll probably cause flash flood warnings in my area

i want you to be patient with selectively mute people. even when you’re tired, even when you’re angry, even when you’re stressed or in a hurry.
i want you to be patient with aac users, even when you’re desperate for an answer, even when you’re carrying a lot of things, even when you’re right behind them and it is just so easy to look over their shoulder at their half-done sentence. (to clarify: do Not do this. too many times people look over the shoulders of aac users, or at their aac, when really we should get to choose what we communicate to you). i want you to instead be patient.
i want you to fucking respect us.
i want you to help me, even if i can’t communicate through speech, even if i can’t look up from the floor.
(example: many times i’ve stood at the front of the line, or at the front desk, which clearly is a sign that i need help with something, but i’ve been unable to communicate that in any other way. and people often wait for me to make eye contact or even look up, and i just can’t. but i still need help. )
i want you to work with me. even if it takes more time. i want not to be lost. i want to find where i’m going. 🌹🌹

i have been in boston for five days and ive absolutely Nothing nice to say about it. west coast continues to be best coast if only because you dont need 200 years of lore to navigate the transit system
