its still mermay somewhere…right? 🥺 okay, hear me out: what if suguru is an unhappy depressed prince. what if he is SO sad, he doesnt really mind if he…dies? and he is about to drown but then he meets gojo. satoru is a sirene who would actually kill humans, but instead of killing him he saves him ofc (bc suguru is fucking special ♥) and then its kinda nice that both of them end up being the opposite. the "killer" is saving and getting "tamed" and the one who wanted to die lives and starts seeing the joy in life again. suguru tries to teach gojo not to kill humans anymore and brings him other food instead. as a sirene gojo is a creature, who doesnt usually go to the hairdresser, thats why his hair is long! one day tho it gets tangeled SO BAD (cuz he gets caught in a fishernet) that suguru has to save him and then cut his hair. ofc he looks fucking ethereal afterwards ✨ ((suguru keeps gojo a secret btw)) (((fangs are hot)))
someone indulge with me in this?!!

The next day. It finally stopped to rain and we got rewarded with a double rainbow! The Boys spent the rest of the day before inside, learning and doing their homework. Divided in two groups, to keep Kiyoshi away from Jack. And Vlad and Jeb thought I'd be better to keep their distance to Jack too, until they could ask Noxee what this strange attraction towards him means.
Vlad and Jeb are training outside. Keeping an eye on Kiyoshi, who is far, far away again. They are so cute. Fighting like baby cats ^^' Maybe Vlad is going easy on Jeb, who just had his first fight in their last lesson :3
Tumblr media
Saiwa, Ji Ho and Jack went down to the dungeons, to the Defense against the Dark Arts classroom. Training Ji Ho, who missed their first lesson. The majority of the poisonous arrows are still flying in Jack's direction ö.Ö' (They might still be under the command of Ms Coombes ^^') Jack wonders what this lightning stroke might have done to him. He's sure the weird attraction, Vlad, Jeb (and Kiyoshi) feel towards him, has to do with this accident. And Ji Ho got overwhelmed by his feelings. He's so angry! He never felt so angry before. There had been lots of ocassions in his life that would have really deserved the anger he feels now. But his feelings had been buried, so nothing had ever hit him this hard. He's angry, jealous, upset, sad... - that Vlad feels attracted to Jack! And he even knows how silly this is. But he can't help it. It fell over him like a fishernet with lead weights, pinning him impotent to the sea bed - at the mercy of his feelings. Sure, he could take a sip of Noxee's potion to get rid of these feelings, but he decided to endure them. Even the bad ones. All his feelings are a part of him now. And he'd missed them for so long. So he's channeling his frustration into the punching bag, not even noticing an arrow sticking in his arm...
Tumblr media
Sai is reading out loud again from their school books for the others. Also dodging the arrows.
Tumblr media
Back at the Duelling Grounds, Vlad and Jeb are still training. Jack and Jeb are the physically strongest of all of them, but Vlad, with his vampiric powers, is not to be underestimated. Plus, he has more fighting experience than Jeb. Jeb is doing surprisingly well, though...
Tumblr media
... until they heard someone approching. It's Greg! They'd all been hoping Noxee would come back so they could discuss Jack's strange attraction on them and, of course, to bring them some good news about Jack and Kiyoshi's mateship... Jeb got distracted and Vlad was able to put him to the ground.
Tumblr media
Greg: "Good to see you improved. So, how is he doing?" Jeb really hoped to talk to Noxee about this. Jack made it very clear he doesn't want Greg to know. Greg is staring at him with his piercing orange eyes and Jeb doesn't know what to say: "Oh - uhm. So Jack..." Greg: "Not Jack! Kiyoshi." (Greg and Kiyoshi seem to have a surprisingly strong bond...) Vlad decided to redeem poor Jeb: "Still unaltered, I fear."
Tumblr media
They called up the others and met in the Conference Hall. And finally Greg spilled the good news! Jack and Kiyoshi are 'allowed' to be, according to Ms Coombes, mates, just mates or whatever! Yay! They must have weighed the advantages of Jack helping Kiyoshi rooting in the here and now again over Jack's bad influence on him o.o
Tumblr media
But the joy was only short-lived. Greg immediately hopped to the next topic. Greg: "You have something to tell me?" Jack: "No!?"
Tumblr media
Greg: "Did you really think you could keep this from me?" Omg! Of course Greg would sense that something is weird! Does he really know Jeb, Vlad and probably Kiyoshi (Jack isn't really convinced of that, since Kiyoshi is a diety now) feel attracted to him? How embarrassing! Jack just wants to hide somewhere!
Tumblr media
Jack: "I'm not going to have a discussion about this with you." Greg: "Fine. I'll call Stefan. Meet him at the beach so you don't further stir the others. Get this solved!" Jack: "Yes, Sir." TMI: After Greg rescued baby Jack from the Lab, he brought him to 'Uncle' Stefan, a close friend, where Jack grew up.
Tumblr media
Oh, how can I try to explain? 'Cause when I do he turns away again It's always been the same, same old story From the moment I could talk I was ordered to listen Now there's a way and I know that I have to go away I know I have to go
All the times that I've cried Keepin' all the things I knew inside It's hard but it's harder to ignore it If they were right I'd agree But it's them they know, not me Now there's a way and I know that I have to go away I know I have to go

Hunting for merfolk. Another one in the "captured in a net" series, a merman dodging a harpoon and trying to escape the net. Some haunting motifs for this Mermay, inspired by my life at the moment. Will continue this series of pendants, the mood is perfect

Hi love,
I understand you like to read and I was just wondering if you're into reading something along the line with the genre horror, thriller, etc. And if you are do you have any book recommendations?
Thank you in advance
Heyho there, love!
I'm going to assume you missed that very recent ask where I talked about my reading preferences! 😅 I don't touch horror, thrillers or crime novels or anything of the like, ever. I only read romance. Romance of any kind that is but only romance. There's only very few exceptions. But whenever I'm in a bookstore I'm not even skimming through the contemporary novels. Unless they have romance, it's highly unlikely they'll interest me. And it's so funny, you know! Back when I was still in school, my fashion style was a lot more intense than it is now (talk about spikes and fishernet gloves and stuff) but I still wear mostly black and I love vampires and Halloween and rock music, so people always assume that I must enjoy horror, be that films or books. 🤣 I really don't! So you all should probably know this about me.
The only thriller that I ever read and enjoyed many years back (I think it's a teen thriller, actually) is called "Blood on my hands" by Todd Strasser. Maybe that's something to look into for you! 😊
Here is the ask I was referring to by the way, that should give an idea of what I like to read!
(That Goodreads profile is in the works already, by the way!)

look this blog is mostly for fun but i just feel the need to express this somewhere
the way my (our?) generation was raised to be oh so conscious of our impact on the environment, the way that in elementary school i was taught to sing songs about how we have to save power to save the world we live in (while every fucking store was and is keeping their lights on through the night), the way I cannot remember a time when we weren't constantly reminded how fossil fuels were gonna run out by 2050 and wE nEeD a soLutIOn nOww, the way the YA book version of blaming-individuals-choices-for-damage-done-by-monolithic-corporations got recommended in a science magazine for literal children
The way we were in every way raised to fear an environmental apocalypse
Just to grow up and have these very fears that were instilled in us be met with nothing but mockery?
with guilt-tripping people for using plastic bags or plastic straws or whatever other minor thing when the trash islands are made of fishernets, when the fucking carbon footprint that people couldnt fucking shut up about all throughout the past decade was invented by goddamned bp

Why the Sally Face?
I haven't even finished watching the gameplay for this and it's been about a month since I drew this while watching.
!!! I headcanon Sally Face as intersex and non-binary (I do know that not all intersex people are nb and vise versa, chill). Their pronouns are xe/xir. If you're referring to xir by pronoun in the comments, please use these ones!
Xe's got tattoos of red roses on xir arm, a fingerless black glove, black nail polish, a baggy long-sleeve V-neck top with a ripped sleeve, a choker, rings, rainbow band-aids, fishernet tights with ripped light jeans, etc.
Don't mind the PG19 watermark, this is from last month. No spoilers for Sally Face please, I'll pick it back up eventually

Atlas- Favourite myth?
The Halforc frowened , for a short moment she remembered the evenings she had spend on her fostress lap, half asleep and curled up in thick blankets like in a cocoon while the stories of adventurs and magic the  woman was telling her, slowly pulled her into sleep.
„Did you know that before Týr had brought the Light to the human of Azeroth, the human had worshiped the elements and the one that were born from those elements, the Elemental? It´s even said that the human only were so eagerly to learn arcane magic from the highelfs, because they  needed to find a way to protect themselfs from those they woshipped and maybe control those Elementals wandering  through the elements surrounding them.“ The Halforcs fingers played with the hilt of her sword, as she tried to remember that certaine story:
„There are a lot of legends that describe the time when priests traveled around the land  and teached the people about the Light, to convert them to the new philosophy and free them from worshipping the very erratic elemantals. But there  is one story about a priest, that is my favorite. He came to a village that had been build at the shore of the Lordamere Lake and would later in history ally with two other villages of the area to found the city of Dalaran. However the priests that had been visiting this certaine village before had been rather clement with the farmers and even if the farmers listened to those priests words they continue worshiping their old  beliefe. Because  there were earthelementals throwing stones from the mountains on the farmers fields but the other time they would let the farmers plants grow strong and fully so noone had to hunger. Because there were  windelematals ripping the farmers roofs open in the storm but the other time they would blow gently in the fishers windmills, making the farmers life easier. Because there were Fireelemantal letting the fire in their kitchen grow and grow until the farmers houses burned to the ground  but another time they would warm every person of the village in the coldest winternights to keep them alive and save. Because there were  waterelemantal in the lake next to them playing with the fishers boats like cruel children playing with puppets but at the other time they would hunt all the lakes fishes in the fishers nets to feed those people. The elementals were cruel but they were also kind, they were the nature around the village, wild and indomitable and furious but also beautiful and calm. The farmers could continue worshipping them because the elementals were cruel but at the same time they were their greatest protectors.
But this new priest was not so mellow, because all he could see were the villagers that were the slaves to their enviorment and all he could see were those poor villagers that bowed before tyrants, when they could life free of them, if they would just follow the light. So as soon as he had build a church he started to curse against the Elementals and the old belief.“
Mar flicked a freckled ear slowly, pausing the story for a moment:
„You sure know how stubborne humen are, it is the one feature that had made them rise against the orcs and the scourge and the moment they were challenged by the priest to let go of their former belief, they started to defiantly worship the elementals even more. After half a year was over the Priests church stayed empty at every day and even the maid and the servant that were helping in his household didn´t visit his teachings about the Light anymore. The priest was devasted, because he was in this village to save it´s citizen, he was there to help them living in freedom and peace but how could he even save them in the name of the Light, if they didn´t let him? It was his only task to serve those people in the name of the Light and he had failed it.As the winter lay its white coat over the land and freeze the Lordamere lake, the priest was ready to bury all his hope saving those villagers under this thick blanket of snow. The church had been build at a little cove of the lakes shore, that is today swallowed by the water. And while the priest was on his way to his little house next to the church, he send prayers to the Light. At this moment he was about to leave the village behind, because he had failed his task to save those people, but just at the moment he had reached his lowest point, the Light gave him a vision.Suddenly all noises around him vanished, the voicec of the citizens around him, the sounds of heavy woodenwheels on the frozen ground and even the sound of his own breathing. The only sound he heard was a voice from deep under the water and thick ice and of course the priest knew who that were:  The lakes lord. Eitill, the powerfulst waterelemental in the lake. And what the priest heard Eitill saying, was enough to nearly make the priest faint: „Today, Today is the day to take the young man down to me.“Of course the priest knew what this sentences was about, he knew all so well that the waterelementals loved to drown people in the lake from time to time and now he knew, that the Light had gave him the chance to safe one of them. The Light had granted him a warning.Hasty the priest runned to his house, to make sure he was not to late. When the lake was frozen the villagers usually took a shortcut from the nets that lay in the churchcoves water over the ice to the near village, instead of walking on the longer way over the land. And the priest knew exactly that Eitill planned to drown a poor villager when they would walk over the ice. But the priest was also suddenly sure that when he was able to save this single person before those cruel elementals, than he had fullfilled his task in this village. Than he had served the light. So as soon as he stepped into his little house he send his maid and servant outside to stop everyone who wanted to walk the shortcut over the ice and bring that person promptly in the priest chamber. The Priest himself ran in his rooms and prepared himself, but he had only sat down in a chair as he already heard footsteps on the woodenfloor before his room and than a very handsome young man walked inside the priests chamber, so bright smiling that he greeted the priest with the bightest smile the old man had ever seen. The young mans name was Krabat and he was a famous and rich fisher in the village, the friendliest and kindest soul in the whole land. The young man explained he had been just on his way from the fishernets to his wife in the village, when the Priests servant had asked him to meet the priest.Promptly the priest started to talk to Krabat and told him about what he had heard from Eitills plans and that he had let Krabat come to him to save him from the cruel Elemental. But when the priest started to explain that Krabat, for the sake of the Light, should not use the short way over the ice, Krabat just started laughing fully hearted and in all good humor, as he explained, he knew for sure that the waterelementals and specially Eitill would never hurt him.The priest was confused and Krabat, with a lightly chuckle, started to explain himself. When he and his mother had still be one person and she had carried his little life in her belly, she had loved to go to the lake and cool her feet in the water that was always such a blessing for her in high pregnancy always hurting and aching body. One time, when she was sitting at the lake, she suddenly saw the water move before her and there was Eitill curiously looking at her and there was her meeting his stare with her own curious, no, shocked and suprised eyes. But instead of shooing her away or hurting here, the Waterelemental stay quiet and eventually just disappear again in the dark waters of their lake. Worried, not for her, but for the little child in her belly, Krabats mother hurried to a wise woman to tell him about the whole incident. The wise woman calmed the worried soon-to-be Mother and told her, that Eitill had gave her child their blessing and that she should make her child a fisher when they grow up, so with Eitills blessing the future fishers nets would always be full of fishes. But also, that Krabat who had Eitills blessing, should never humiliate the Waterelemental. Never should Krabat drink water from the Lake, otherwise Eitill would withdraw their blessing and drown the child in their lake.Krabats mother did as the wise woman told her and Krabat himself followed the advice too and as it had been said when Krabat go fishing his nets were always full of fishes and when he go on the lake in his boat the waterelementals come to swim around his boat, like playful children.Because his nets were always so full of fish, Krabat soon become one of the richest people in the village and married the most beautiful woman in the village. Even on his wedding day Eitills blessing helped him, because on the day of his wedding the horse that should pull the coach with whom he should traditionally visit his wife and drive her to their new home, had become sick. At this day Eitill personally rise from the lake, let Krabat lay the leins around them and pulled the coach to Krabats wife parentshouse and up to their new home.Krabat was sure, that the waterelementals would forever be his protectors, so why should now Eitill betray their protégé and drown him?Krabat trusted the old Waterelemental which had become his godfather and mentor over the years, but the priest did not. Because the priest knew the true nature of the Elemental. He knew the Elemental were cruel creatures by the old beasts that had fight those that had brought the Light to the human of Azeroth. But he had never thought that those Elementals could be so very cruel by playing all those years a game with this young man, they made him believe that he was save, they made him trust him, just to drown him the very moment he was completly off guard. Oh how cruel those Elementals were, as cruel as  nature itself was.Exactly the moment the old priest thought about this cruelty, he knew what he had to do.He said Krabat that he had understood that there is nothing he could do to stop the young man from crossing the lake over the ice, but he also beg the young man to have the premission to give him the last rites, so even if Krabat dies he could return to the Light.Krabat, lighthearted and friendly, the young man who had never expierenced anything bad because of Eitills blessing, eventually gave in to the priests requests. The priest just shortly got down in the little houses cellar to get the oil and the chalice for the rite and returned than to Krabat, giving him the traditional prayers and anointing only doomed received. But the moment Krabat drank he take a sip from the chalice, he suddenly jumped up from his place with a face that had turned to white and pale like from a dead:
„Priest! What was that?! What have you let me drink there!?“ Krabat was starring at the Priest with wide open eyes and the priest answered with a calm voice, with the relieved voice of somone who had just fullfilled his task:
„I gave you the most holy substance to drink in the whole church. The water from the churchcove.“
The priest was about to continue of how he had to do it to save the young man from the lakes lord but than it was Krabat who started screaming, crying and than ran past the priest and outside the little house, howling like a haunted animal. The priest promptly set after him but all that was greeting him was the dark night as he got outside and so the old man hurried into the village, of course over the land. The villagers, who all loved Krabat very much helped him searching the whole night. As the morning dawned they found Krabats hat next to a big hole in the ice on the great lake.Eventually the waterelemental had pulled the young man down into the lakes deepest places and as the villagers wanted to return to their village they suddenly heard a little old voice between them. It was suprising because the voice was so old and tiny and after all, all people in this group were not that old that they could make such a voice. The villagers turned than around and saw the priest, who had slumped down, with a face that had aged in shock and guilt over decades in one moment.
And with that tiny quiet voice the priest started to tell the people about what he had done.“
