holy shit i am rediscovering starset and their music is so motherfucking good why am i not obsessed with this band
#starset#2000s rock#2010s rock#i even saw them live once and their live set was so fucking cool#we also had vip tickets and in the package was an acoustic set with starset#would that count as seeing them twice???#because it was the acoustic set and then a different band played first then starset played second#(it was fozzy btw)#so there is a separation there#it wasn't two separate shows but we saw starset in two extremely different settings#like the acoustic set was in like the vip lounge and they were all in normal clothes#but on stage they were wearing space suit type shit#and it wasn't all acoustic#lmk your thoughts on that if you want to weigh in on my dilemma

That was an eventful two days
#I had a better time at the Waterparks concert#Noah was great#buuuut#I was on the barricade#I had my cousin hold onto my spot while I grabbed some merch and he didn’t hold onto the barricade so when I got back there were like three#rows of people in front of me#tall people too#and I got a ticket for my friend who wound not being able to go#and my brother who took us didn’t wanna go so I completely wasted $25 on a ticket#and it just Sucks that I spent so much money on ticket and got there super early just to be shoved way back when I LITERALLY had the front#there was this rude entitled lady who made everyone move for her son#he only knew tx2 but stayed up front the whole time#(she also took a spot right on the barricade too)#I was just really upset about how it didn’t go according to my plan and I kind of had a panic attack. like. a really fucking long one#and I had my vip bag + merch with me and everyone was stepping on it (no one was even playing?) and they fucked up my poster#but yeah I pretty much had a 2 hour long panic attack my ribs hurt now from hyperventilating (leaving the pit wouldn’t have helped)#the vip part was still good#I met Noah again he remembered me he did great it was just the people around me#oh I also like fucked up my knee#but that’s cause two concerts in a row hurt I think someone kinda accidentally kicked in a mosh pit and the first venue the ground had a#slight tilt to it. so it was kinda uncomfortable after a few hours#Waterparks#noahfinnce#concert#tx2#music

Also my mom went to Starset with me and she and my dad are both fully aware of the fact that I'm hot for Dustin and at one point she was like "Dustin really is good-looking. You have good taste." and I half-jokingly said "so on a totally unrelated subject what would be your stance on me dating a guy over a decade older than me?" and she just shrugged and said "well if it was Dustin I would get it" so that was really funny
#this was her third time seeing them period but it was her first time seeing them as the headliners#like i've seen them five times the first two were with my dad in 2017 and 2018#third was the acoustic demonstrations in 2021 and fourth was when they opened for breaking benjamin in 2022#and mom and dad were both there for both of those#and of course this was my fifth time#i won two vip tickets at the acoustic one and my dad insisted she go with me since she hadn't had a chance to get the full experience yet#shut up tristan

#its a duplicate of one i already own#EXCEPT.... the first one is SPECIAL.#it's MISSPELLED.#i didnt notice until i opened it but there's a spelling error!#and i checked the store afterwards and it was also misspelled on the product photo!#so i sent them an email and let them know#they offered to send me a corrected shirt for free but i declined#but since i have a VIP ticket for the meet+greet im buying a correct one to wear#and bringing the misspelled one to be signed :)

I want to buy the deluxe CD.. but I don't even have a CD player... buut I mean of course - a collectible, but I try not to buy things just to have things... But I also want to get back a little to physical media because like, one of my favorite movies is impossible to find legally here, and there's also an album that made me so happy but the artist removed it from spotify like a week after I found it - which is just... not a problem with physical media.... Also supporting the artists...
I'm just trying to convince myself at this point

GOT VIP SKZ TICKETS FOR BOTH LONDON DATES AND SEATED FOR PARIS LETS GOOOOOOO
#im so happy that was honestly hell#first ticketmaster france wouldnt accept any of our cards#and then my friend finally managed to get us 3 cat 1 seats together#then i was 50k behind in the queue for d1 london#waited over an hour while all my other friends got tickets and i was still queueing#and then they announced d2#so i stayed in the d1 queue and loads of people dropped out so i finally managed to get vip standing to be with my friend#and then she got through into d2 and managed to get us 2 seated vip tickets#im so excited i've stanned them for 5 years and i finally get to go to their tour
