Namjoon Scenario| You’re his favorite YouTuber and you come to Seoul
Namjoon had a notification pop up on his phone that you were doing a livestream on YouTube. He immediately clicked it open, figuring he could listen while he was working on some lyrics for their new album.
“Alright everyone I’m just going to wait a few minutes for some more people to come in and then we’ll get started.” When he saw your bright and smiling face he felt his heart flutter in his chest. Somewhere along the way his feelings towards you became something more than a fan admiring their favorite Youtuber. In the past year of watching you, he’s grown to know you. How kind you are, how funny you are, how much you care for those around you. He continues to write his lyrics until you officially start the stream.
“Okay so let’s get started then! This is just kind of a life update I guess? I won’t be posting videos for a while. I know I know, I’m sorry but it’s for an extremely amazing, good, and happy reason. I’m going to South Korea. Can you believe it? I’ve been wanting to go for so long and recently have been thinking about moving there. I wanted to visit to see the country and make sure that it’s a place I want to live in, get accustomed to it and everything. And I finally am going to see my favorite group perform too! I’m sure you all have heard me talking about them enough to know that it’s BTS right?” Namjoon nearly jumps out of his computer chair as he hears you say this. You’re coming to South Korea?? To attend their concert?! He starts dancing in his chair happily celebrating. “I probably won’t be too active on social media I hope you all can forgive me. I may make a vlog or two and post some photos but I really just want to enjoy my time there through my eyes and not a phone screen you know? Maybe take a photo at the concert. Oh gosh I can’t believe I am going to be so close to them.” He finds your words and the slight blush on your face adorable. He can’t resist as he types a question for you.
You talk about BTS a lot but you’ve never mentioned who your bias is?
“Realme94 wants to know who’s my bias? Ah, you’re right I guess I have never mentioned it. I love them all so much it’s hard to choose but.. if I had to I would without a doubt say Namjoon.” Butterflies erupt in his stomach.
Why do you like him?
“I mean what’s there not to like? He’s had the world on his shoulders and he handles it with grace. He takes care of the members all so well. He looks after them. He’s extremely talented I mean have you heard his mixtape? He can sing, he can rap, he can dance. He can do it all. And those dimples. Oh gosh.” Namjoon is smiling so widely now he feels like his cheeks are going to fall off.
Do you want to meet him?
“Of course I would love to meet him. But that’s never going to happen. I am honestly just happy to go visit their home country and learn about their culture. And get to see them perform. I couldn’t ask for anything more.” Hearing your kind response made him decide that he had to meet you. Opportunities like this don’t come around too often. You are finally going to be in the same country as him, the same city.
He tries to think of how he should approach this. Should he message you and ask you to meet him somewhere, ah but how could he prove its acrually him. Maybe he could have their management upgrade your tickets and get you a backstage pass, act like they were running some contest and you got randomly selected. That could work, but then he would have to wait to meet you until after the show when he was exhausted and tired. Or he could try to figure out where you were staying, ah no that would make him seem like he’s stalking you. He has an internal debate with himself for a few more minutes before Yoongi walks into the studio.
“Namjoon, we have rehearsal today for the show. Are you coming?”
“Yeah sorry!” Yoongi glances over his shoulder and sees your stream still going on.
“Ah is that why you’re late? Watching the love of your life eh?”
“Y/n is not! I don’t even know them. But guess what?! They’re coming to Seoul for our concert. Isn’t that amazing?”
“It is. You gonna find a way to meet up?”
“I want to.. but I’m still trying to work it out..”
“Just approach y/n at the show. Get them a backstage pass or something.”
“You think I should?”
“I think if you don’t do something to finally meet this person you have been pining after for a year now I am going to take matters into my own hands and make it happen myself.” Namjoon laughs but feels better after being encouraged by his friend.
“Alright Yoongi. I’ll work it out.”
It’s now the day of the show and Namjoon has had the his plan worked out for a few days now. He smiles to himself as he thinks about the fact that pretty soon he is going to get to meet you. You had got there hours before the show started, wanting to walk around and have time to buy merch, take photos and just take in everything, maybe participate in a random play dance. As you are walking to have your bag checked before entering the grounds of the stadium you see a group of security point at you, leaving you feeling not only a little scared but nervous. One of them approaches you.
“Can I see your ID please?” You are shaking as you reach into your bag to pull it out and hand it to the man.
“Alright can you come with us please?”
“Umm.. y-yes. Have I done something wrong?”
“No not at all. You were randomly chosen to be given VIP access. If you come with us we can take you back stage and you can meet the members.” It takes everything in you not to scream. Is this actually happening right now? You reach down and pinch your arm rather harshly causing you to wince.
“Ouch.”
“What are you doing?” One of the security asks you.
“Just pinching myself to make sure I am not dreaming. Alright then I guess I’ll follow you.” You allow yourself to be guided away, and feel tons of eyes on your back as you walk away, no doubt wondering what exactly was going on. With every step you take your heart rate quickens and you feel your palms getting sweatier. You finally come to stop outside of the door. One of them hands you a badge that says VIP on it.
“Alright you can go in now.” They walk away leaving you standing dumbfounded outside of the door. Should you knock? Or just head in? You raise your hand up and are about to knock when suddenly it swings open. And you honestly feel like you’re going to faint. You are now face to face with Namjoon. The Kim Namjoon that you have been admiring for years now.
“Hey! You must be y/n. Glad you could make it.” Him saying your name snaps you out of your min fangirl attack.
“How did you know my name?”
“Ah, okay. Well.. come inside and sit down please? This may all seem kind of weird and all but.. I’ve known about you for a while now.” You enter into the room and see the rest of the members around getting their makeup, and hair done. When you enter the room all eyes are on you. You wave shyly at all of them and they all give you an enthusiastic hello back before you sit down on the couch with Namjoon. “So.. remember the other day when you were talking to a Realme94?”
“Yes..”
“That was me. I’ve been watching your videos for about a year now and I really love y- I mean I love your videos! And you seem like such a nice and sweet person and when I found out you were coming here to see us perform well.. I couldn’t not meet you.”
“You.. wanted to meet me..?”
“Yeah. Why wouldn’t I?”
“Because I’m just some silly person making videos in their room and you’re.. Namjoon?”
“And you’re y/n. A sweet and kind hearted, funny person that I would absolutely love to get to know better.” Your head is swimming as you are taking all of this in. You begin to giggle and Namjoon looks at you, confused.
“I’ve finally lost my mind haven’t I?” Suddenly Jungkook walks over and puts a hand on your shoulder.
“Y/n listen, My hyung here has been pining after you for a year now. He’s a huge fan of you, and when he found out you were not only coming to Seoul but thinking about moving here.. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him so happy. He’s trying to downplay how nervous and excited he is right now but he’s smitten with you.”
“Jungkook!” “Sorry hyung. But y/n needed to hear that and I could tell you were dancing around the subject.” Jungkook sits down on the edge of the couch forcing Namjoon to move even closer to you.
“Is that true Namjoon?”
“For the most part yes..”
“For the entire part yes you mean!” Shouts Yoongi.
“Wow you all are really just out to expose me aren’t you?” You can’t help but laugh at how flustered he is getting at their teasing.
“Hey, it’s alright Namjoon. Really you have no idea how flattered I am by all this. It actually makes me really happy. I guess you already know that I really admire you after our conversation then. Oh gosh how much embarrassing stuff have I said in my streams..” You’re having an internal crisis remembering all of the things you have said.
“Well, I mean now that I am here in person you can poke my dimples like you’ve always wanted.” Your face flushes bright red as you remember all of the times you’ve fangirled over Namjoon. He laughs and pokes your cheek, causing you to smile. “I’m just teasing you y/n. Really it’s endearing. And I hope I am not being too forward but since I have been living in Seoul for years now maybe tomorrow I could give you a tour? Show you around the city, all of the good places to live..”
“That would be awesome. But how are we going to meet up again?” Namjoon blushes again and clears his throat.
“Ah, well I mean we could exchange numbers and you could tell me where to meet you in the afternoon?”
“Smooth, hyung.” Jungkook chimes in which earns him an elbow to the ribs.
“That sounds great. Let me see your phone, I’ll put my number in.” You two take each other’s phones and put your numbers in there.
“Well, I don’t want to keep you any longer. We have to get ready for the show. But if you walk back out of here one of the guards will take you to your seat. We upgraded it so you can be in the front row.”
“But the show doesn’t start for another hour and a half. I wanted merch…” Namjoon can’t help but laugh at your pouting.
“What do you want y/n? I’ll bring it tomorrow when I pick you up.”
“Really?!”
“Yes of course.” You tell him the shirts you were thinking about getting as well as an army bomb.
“Ah well you’ll need the light stick before the show..” He walks to the back of the room and looks in a bag before he comes out with one.
“You can have mine. I can always get another one before the show starts.”
“Namjoon I can’t-”
“Please.. I want you to have it.” He smiles at you and places it in your hand.
“Thanks you.. Seriously this is way more than I ever could have hoped for.”
“Just wait until tomorrow! I’ll make sure you get the full city experience.” You smile and thank him again, saying goodbye to all the members before walking out of the room. You follow the guard to your seat and sit down. You are lost in your own thoughts processing everything that happened before when the army bomb in your hand starts changing colors and lands on the color purple. Namjoon must have had it synced up to his phone and was changing the colors on it. You smile to yourself as the venue starts filling up, not sure if you’re more excited for the show, or getting to spend time with Namjoon tomorrow.

Hey ⑇ p.js
a park jisung oneshot
genre : fluff
wc : 4k
The screams got noticeably louder when a familiar tune began to play from the speakers.
A bead of sweat trickled from the side of your forehead down to your neck as you desperately tried to fan yourself with your hands. Joined by a few other fans, the six members of NCT Dream were in the middle of the crowd, dancing to their latest song, "Boom". You hadn't expected this to happen—actually, none of the people here had, not even the host of the occasion. It was merely a coincidence, you thought. For Korean idols to appear and eventually join this random K-Pop dance event was something out of a fangirl's dream, your dream, and everyone else's for that matter.
As you rapped Jaemin's lines along with the crowd, you let your eyes take in as much of your bias as you could. Park Jisung was indeed just a few meters away from you. Hell, you hadn't had the chance to go to concerts your whole life, but guess what? Your very first one was free, and it was better than those VIP seats that you couldn't afford with the five bucks you called your "savings".
It was hot. It felt like the sun's rays were stabbing your skin, and the heat from being squished in the middle of the cluster of sweaty bodies certainly didn't help either. You ignored the pounding in your head and focused on Jisung who was now dancing to Chewing Gum. The corners of your lips twitched upward. It's been years since the song was released, and you could still remember the curly hair that had brought you into the fandom.
Despite the obvious changes from 2016 Jisung and the present, you could still feel the childlike innocence that radiated from him, the absolute cuteness that caught your eye when you first watched their debut video.
Minutes passed, and they were finally done. The host was now talking to the group, thanking them as each of the members took their turn in shaking his hand. Most of the people were filming the moment, wanting to have something to remember the experience with. You would've been doing the same, but you weren't. It didn't occur to your mind that you should've been doing something like taking a picture, of recording a video on your phone. Instead of doing any of these, you screamed.
"I LOVE YOU PARK JISUNG!"
You had screamed at the top of your lungs, your shrill voice piercing through and drowning out every other noise. Silence suddenly existed in the busy area you were in thanks to you, and you hadn't noticed what you'd done until Jisung's eyes locked with yours.
Actually, all eyes were on you, but it was as if you and Jisung were the only ones there, as cliché as it sounded. Was it mentioned that you were wearing a shirt with Jisung's name and face imprinted on it? And that your backpack was embedded with NCT enamel pins, half of them being, again, Jisung's face. Well, now you remembered.
Finally, you snapped out of your trance and slapped a hand over your mouth, face flushing when you realised the amount of attention being directed to you. A few people started laughing, giggling, whatever. Some went "aww" at your adorable reaction. This made you look down at your feet, and because you did so, you failed to see how Jisung's cheeks reddened, too.
×
Having finished your grieving session, you walk down the stairs to grab a glass of water, phone in hand. You've been wailing in your room for the past few hours, and you basically let your heart out as your parents weren't home yet. But you were probably loud enough that your neighbours may have thought of calling the police, which they thankfully hadn't.
"Legit, I wouldn't be surprised if Jisung has a fanboy crush on you right now," Kim clicked her tongue, her voice seemingly laced with excitement.
Videos of NCT Dream's appearance earlier had started to circulate the internet, not one from any of the social media platforms you used didn't have at least ten posts about the afternoon event downtown.
Of course, that wasn't what had gotten you riled up.
There were clips dedicated to you, most having your face clearly shown in them. Notifications from your phone blew up the moment you got home, friends and strangers spamming you with messages, and you weren't surprised that some even had threats.
Apparently, a lot had seen how Jisung reacted, and some speculations of you being someone more than a fan began to spread across the whole fandom. Oh boy, how you wished.
"Um, no," you retorted, placing the glass on the coaster as you plopped yourself onto the couch. "Did you even see my face in those videos? I looked like crap! Jisung probably felt embarrassed!"
"That's not the overly confident Y/N I know," Kim laughed through the phone. You roll your eyes at her comment. "You looked cute! Like, you looked haggard as fuck, but it was the pretty type of haggard!"
"What does that even mean?" You were annoyed, but you couldn't help but laugh at her statement. "This isn't a fanfiction, Kim."
She groaned, "Oh shut up, ten bucks to you if you don't get involved with NCT's Jisung within a month."
"Are you serious?" you replied, enthused. "You do know that I'm totally winning that bet?"
"Yeah, sure." As she spoke, you heard your phone emit a soft ring from the coffee table. You lean forward from the couch to peak at the screen, there was a notification from your social media, someone had just sent you a message.
"Was that yours?" Kim asked. Your response was a mere hum as you took the device into your hand. It was from a user whose name was literally "akzkjzjsj", and you almost ignored it if it weren't for Kim's comment; "I bet it's Jisung."
Squinting, you saw how the person's icon was a picture of the ceiling, nothing else but a light bulb in the image, like it had been taken just now for a one time use.
akzkjzjsj
: hey
Curious, you were. It didn't seem like a bot. Maybe the person would give you threats, too? It made sense, as it was an account that had just been made.
PJiuwusuwung
: whats up?
akzkjzjsj
: do u know nct
You scoffed, wasn't that already obvious? Ignoring Kim's voice, you typed in a reply.
PJiuwusuwung
: this is legit a jisung fan account ur talking to
akzkjzjsj
: ok
: can we meet up tomorok?
: tomorrow*
PJiuwusuwung
: um what i dont even know u???
akzkjzjsj
: that dog cafe downtown tom at 3 pm
: Nthnkzs (:
Your eyebrows furrowed. "What?" you let out a confused noise, beginning to type once again.
PJiuwusuwung
: wtf !
: what makes u think i'll go !
: hEllo? !
Noticing that your messages weren't sending, you clicked on the person's icon. A wry laugh bubbled from your throat, the person had blocked you. You exited the application and placed the phone back onto the small table.
"Are you done ignoring me?" Kim's irritated voice made you sigh. "What happened? Wait! Don't tell me Jisung actually contacted you."
"No, it wasn't him," you began, "Some guy—or girl, just asked to meet up tomorrow at that dog cafe we go to a lot. And guess what? The asshole blocked me before I could even reply."
"Don't go," she said with a stern tone. "It might be sasaengs, you should be careful when going out. Some people can be dumb enough to do something crazy before thinking twice."
Kim was right, but you decided to brush it off. "Calm down, it's not like I was planning to go anyway," you chuckled lightly, shaking your head.
"Yeah, good to know."
×
"Dad, I'm going out!"
"Where to?" he questioned. Slipping your shoes on, you thought of what your best friend had told you the night before. You technically weren't going to the cafe. There was a sale in the small store downtown, and you didn't want to pass the chance to get your hands on K-Pop merch for lower prices. Obviously, you had to ask for money from your mother, and she was reluctant to give you any, but you had begged enough that she was finally just forced to do so.
"I'm going to meet up with Kim downtown."
"Have fun," he replied. "Don't stay out too late."
After half an hour, you finally arrived. You entered the store, but not without bumping into a few bodies, the place was filled with people after all. Noticing how many customers crowded around the NCT section, you lowered your cap, and you snickered silently. Why were you acting like this? You thought you were being too dramatic, they probably had no clue who you were, anyway.
Your hand hovered an inch above the mask you wore before you stopped, hearing the conversation of the girls by the stand.
"Have you seen that video Jisung? The one where he acted weird when that one fan suddenly screamed "I love you" out loud?" one of them asked, studying Jisung's photocard in her hand.
"Who hasn't? Ugh, seriously, I would've went if I had known that Dream would show up!" the other whined. "The girl is so lucky, all the members looked at her at the same time! I would sell my kidney just to experience that!"
A shiver ran down your spine. It certainly wasn't nice to hear people talking about you, even though it wasn't anything bad, it made you uncomfortable.
Saving the money given to you was undeniably the better option rather than staying here. Right when you turned your back to walk out of the store, your head bumped into someone's chest. You softly mumbled an apology and stepped aside.
A hand grabbed your arm, and you felt yourself stiffen. Fuck, were you recognized? You didn't even wear the bag you wore yesterday, and you had normal clothes on, not those unofficial NCT shirts you usually used. How could someone possibly. . You tried to jerk your arm away from the person's grasp, but his voice stopped you.
"Good thing you didn't remove your mask," he remarked before pulling you out of the store. You knew better than to attract attention to yourself and the boy, and because you had an idea of who he was, you didn't cry for help. Once the two of you were a good distance away from the shop, you pulled your arm out of his grip and stepped back.
"What do you—"
"Don't worry! I won't do anything to you," the boy chuckled, shrugging his shoulders awkwardly. You look at him, he wasn't Jisung, the neon hair peaking out from the front of his hat said otherwise.
"Zhon—"
"Hey now! No blowing our covers!" Chenle hushed you as he crossed his arms, sending you a playful glare. He noticed your confused expression and sighed. "Why are you even here? Didn't we tell you to go to the dog cafe down the street?"
"Wh—" you paused. Realisation hits you like a truck and you gasp, hands moving to slap your cheeks. The person who had messaged you last night, the one who'd asked you to meet up. Was it Chenle?? "Why did you want to meet me?"
"Me? Oh no, not me! All we did was talk to you for Jisung," he explained, voice retreating to a soft whisper at the end of his sentence. Before he could say anything else, you cut him off.
"We?"
He tilted his head in confusion before letting out a sound and clasping his hands together. "I mean me, and the other members, aside from the youngest."
"You see," he continued, "Jisung basically developed a crush on you when he saw you yesterday! He couldn't stop asking himself, and us, what your name was and if he was your favourite among all the members—which was obvious because his face was literally on your shirt."
Chenle shuts his mouth, realising what he was doing. "I'm sorry for babbling. Jisung's waiting for you in the cafe, you should go now!"
He twirls you around and gives your back a push, snapping you out. "Wait, I—"
"Follow me," another boy shows up in front of you. You feel your head pound from everything that's happening, but you follow him nonetheless as he crosses the street. It takes the two of you a few minutes to get to the doors of the cafe, and you almost feel like fainting right there and then.
"I-I still have so many questions," you stare up at the person who escorted you to the cafe. The familiar eyes were enough for you to know that you were talking to Lee Jeno. "Can I pleas—"
"You should get in and sit down," he assured, giving you a pat on the shoulder. "You'll have your questions answered in there."
You nodded your head and tiredly pushed passed the door, the bell ringing from the motion. Puppies started to swarm around your feet, and you began to feel better as you squatted down in an attempt to stop the dizziness you felt.
As you pet the small poodle softly on its head, you take notice of the person who knelt beside you. Raising your head, your eyes immediately meet his. Jisung's face blushes a bright red, and you head the choked howling from the other side of the cafe. The other three members were clearly here.
"H-Hey," he uttered softly, averting his gaze onto the puppies that played with you. "I'm Park Jisung."
Despite the awkwardness, you didn't stop the laugh that bubble from your throat, and Jisung was glad that you didn't, because your voice truly was music to his ears.
"You didn't have to introduce yourself, Jisung." You wanted to give yourself a good ol' pat on the back as you smiled at him, making him even more flustered than before. It was weird, you should've been the one unable to talk properly! He was your idol, after all.
"Do you—I—uh, should—" Jisung was being the exact meme you'd expected him to be, and you felt your lips twitch at his cuteness.
"Let's take a seat on the tables—I mean chairs, the chairs, yes," he kept on stammering, standing up and holding a hand out for you. Now it's your turn to be awkward, staring at his hand for a long time before feeling the heat rise up to your ears.
"Oh, I'm supposed to—" you took his hand and stood up. The other members couldn't stop themselves from making noise. Chenle, who had already entered silently from behind the two of you, would've burst out laughing if it weren't for the four covering his mouth.
The two of you settle at the table further inside of the cafe, cautious of the fans that may possibly pass by. Jisung sat across from you, facing away from the transparent walls. Silence lasted for a long moment before he finally spoke up, "So, how long have you been a fan of our group?"
You looked up from the puppy on your lap and bit back a smile. He actually spoke without stuttering this time. "I started liking NCT when I saw Dream's debut video."
You saw the interest sparkle from Jisung's eyes as he leaned forward, intrigued. "I was actually skeptical about it first, because I wasn't quite a fan of cutesy concepts. But once I watched it, your unit became my favourite group."
"Why's that?" he wondered, tilting his head to the side cutely. An action so adorable that it made your heart skip a beat.
"W-Well, first of all, the song was catchy," you shifted on your seat, avoiding his gaze. "The vocals and raps were everything. I even spent my time trying to learn the choreography!"
You were about to start talking again before you remembered who was sitting in front of you. It was hard to do anything when you knew that the Park Jisung was giving all his attention to you.
The corners of Jisung's mouth quirked into a grin, he knew his effect on you, but he didn't want that to ruin this rare opportunity to be able to spend his time with someone he liked. "Hey." His voice made your shoulders jump. "Let's try to be comfortable with each other. Just talk to me, and I'll listen."
Because I want to get to know you better.
"Actually," he began when you finally faced him, "I was wondering if—"
"Sorry to interrupt," Renjun's voice startled the both of you, and Jaemin had to slap his shoulder to stop him from giggling. "Your drinks are with us,"
The two boys moved to the side of your table and placed each beverage on the coaster provided. Your eyebrows raise when you realize that the one given to you was your favourite. Jaemin was beaming, and seeing Renjun give you a polite smile, you decided not to question it and thanked them before they retreated back to their spot.
Either they stalked you hardcore, or they asked the lady in the counter for your usual.
"G-Go on," you shyly urge Jisung to continue, looking down into the glass as you look a sip from the straw.
"Can I get your number?"
He'd said it so softly, so sweetly, and oh so smoothly that you almost choked, shocked at his straightforward question. You face becomes beet red and you clumsily try to get an answer out.
Jisung sees how you react and panics as well, "I m-mean you don't have to! I just—"
"It's okay!" you cut him off, shaking your head profusely. He went silent, and so did you, not knowing what to say. What's next? Your mind was a total mess as you tried to think. Finally, you decided on getting your phone out, but he beats you to it, handing you his phone with a new contact ready to be added.
He knew that your first da—meeting, wouldn't go well. Jisung was an idol, and you were his fan. Although he was glad that you didn't go brain-dead, it was still a shame that the two of you couldn't speak to each other properly as it was, clearly, awkward.
That's why he thought that getting your number would be best, as he could easily talk to you without you seeing him get flustered about everything you did. It was an idea that he was proud of, so he couldn't help but bite his lip in an attempt to hide his smile as he watched you type in your number.
"H-Here," you return the gadget, looking away embarrassed and bewildered. Park Jisung asked you for your number. Park Jisung has your number. Park Jisung plans to contact you after all of this. The Park Jisung, actually knows you?
Jisung shot up from his seat, arm sticking out ready to catch you when you almost fell off your seat sideways. He moved to kneel beside you, pressing a hand onto your forehead and taking your wrist into the other, "Are you okay?"
It felt like your body was on fire when he touched you. "I-I-I am! Yeah, I'm good! Totally good!" you yelped, gently peeling his hand away from your head.
"But you're hot to the touch!" he protested.
"That's because I'm blushing!" you shook your head, pulling him up to stand. "I'm not sick, I'm just flustered."
"O-oh," he mutters, rubbing the back of his neck. "Sorry about that."
"Don't worry, it's not your fault!" Well it is his fault, WHAT WERE YOU SAYING? You mentally slapped yourself and opened your mouth to speak.
"I—"
"Jisung!" a voice softly hissed. Donghyuck moved hastily, slamming his hands onto the table harshly. He turns to your and gives you a smile. "Hello, Y/N."
"Hi?"
The boy laughs and turns back to his friend, shooting Jisung a panicked glare. "We have to go. Now. The manager is looking for us!"
Both your eyes widen and the two of you stand up in unison. Haechan pats Jisung on the chest before hurrying back, and Jisung looks back at you.
"I can see that you have to go," you gestured to the boys in chaos from the other side of the room. You quickly took notice of the apologetic face he had. "Don't be sorry, I understand. Now go! I don't want any of you getting in trouble."
Jisung nodded and took your hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. Your breath hitched when he pecked your cheek before he runs out of the store with the other members, but not without sending you a last wave. You stood there, dumbfounded, a hand on the place where Jisung had kissed you.
A moment passes and you finally recollect yourself, staggering toward the counter to pay for the drinks you had. The lady smiled and returned the money, "Those boys already paid."
You uttered a soft "oh" before nodding your head and walking out of the cafe. Damn, the past hour felt like an eternity! You were dead on your feet when you arrived home, and you quietly made your way upstairs to your room as your father's snores echoed through the living room.
Crashing down onto the softness of your bed, you let out a tired moan. It didn't take long before you felt yourself drifting off to sleep.
×
A vibration from your leg woke you up, and you groaned as you sat up, rubbing your eyes and looking around your room. You yawned, stretching your arms out and arching your back. "That was one hell of a dream."
You reached for the phone that had gotten out of your pocket, and you blink. Why were you wearing the clothes you had on in your dream? A gasp escapes your lips and you quickly unlock your phone. An unknown number had sent you a message.
Unknown #
: hey
: its mee
You
: who is me?
: j88sufn?
: jisung??
Fingers shaking, you clicked your tongue as you had wanted to slap yourself for being so nervous.
Unknown #
: your one and only :))
You wanted to yell at the top of your lungs, but all that came out was a croak, your voice getting stuck down your throat.
You
: BUT i thought it was a dream?
: are u messing w me
The person takes time to respond before the bubble disappears. Instead, they sent a picture of you playing with the dog in the cafe you were in earlier.
Unknown #
: certainly wasn't a dream
: anywayyy how r u?
You take a full minute to process what was happening and slowly let your thumbs type.
UWUSUNG
: hold that thought
: i gtg for practice, i'll ttyl c:
: ♥️
What? Did Jisung just send you a heart? You, Y/N L/N, could talk to Park Jisung anytime you wanted to. It felt like a dream, like you were being one of those delusional fangirls. But you weren't, because this was real, you concluded after biting onto your arm.
You hadn't sent a reply back after that, as it was too much for you to take in. This only happens when your crush is in the same school as you, not when your crush is an actual idol from SM Entertainment!
You almost threw your phone the moment it rang, someone was calling you. Was it Jisung? No! He left to practice!
The contact "Kim✨😘" flashed from the screen and you sighed in relief, feeling your shoulders relax before you answered the call. Not waiting for her to make a sound, you squealed into the mic, earning a shout from her.
"What the actual FUCK?" she growled. You shrugged her clear annoyance off and started rambling about what happened. Kim, on the other hand, couldn't understand a word you were saying, telling you to shut up.
"Okay, calmly, tell me what happened," she told you, letting you breathe in normally. As you were about to speak, your phone vibrated, and you held it in front of you to check the screen. Jisung had sent you a picture of himself, although it seemed like it was taken by someone else. He was posing for the camera, a sheepish grin on his face as he went with the awkward peace sign.
You let out a laugh at this, finding the picture, which was presumably taken by Chenle, cute. You replied with a heart after saving the image.
"Hey." You heard her huff. "Did you hit your head or something?"
"Hey," you repeated, lips a permanent smile. "Let's meet up tomorrow."
"Sure, but why?"
"Because you're getting your ten bucks tomorrow."

Touch Me (MGK x Reader)

“Would you do a mgk one shot where him and the reader go to a big rave festival, like edc or something, and they're on x and it is just amazing them? Like their so into everything around and each other? Maybe a lil smut”
Note: I’ve only been to a rave once so this may have been a bit of a stretch, but oh my god did I love writing this. I also (do)n’t recommend that you use illegal substances.

“Colson, I’m bored,” you whine, body reclining in a heap of pillows and blankets on the hotel bed. Your boyfriend is seated at the desk across the room, furiously scribbling away at his journal. You know interrupting him at a time like this is rude, but part of you doesn’t really care anymore. Hours had passed since Colson has spoken to you, and you’re starting to become impatient.
You had been on tour with Colson for weeks, and he’s barely had the time to even look at you, let alone enjoy your company. Now the band is in Las Vegas of all places, and all Colson wants to do is keep working. You had always admired Colson’s work ethic, but he has a tendency to work himself to the brink of collapse. Even though you want your boyfriend to give you attention, you also know that if he doesn’t take a break soon he’ll be close to burning out.
“Colson, please,” you try again, desperate to break through your boyfriend’s creative trance.
Colson eventually sighs and turns to look at you, slamming his notebook shut. “What is it, Y/N?” he sounds exhausted, and you know that being cooped up in a hotel room isn’t making it any better. Colson is the kind of person who feeds off of other people’s energy, and yours alone isn’t going to cut it.
“Can we please go out and do something?” you ask, careful to keep your voice delicate, “We’re in Las Vegas for god’s sake. You deserve a little break.”
Rubbing his face, Colson gets up and sits at the end of the bed, shoulders slumped forward. You crawl over to meet him, snaking your arms around his back and onto his broad chest. Pulling him tightly against you, you place a gentle kiss on the side of his neck, hoping the small gesture is enough to ease his nerves.
“You know we can’t go anywhere right now,” Colson murmurs, a large hand linking comfortably around your wrist to hold you in place, “Everyone will recognize us.”
As much as you hate to admit it, he has a point. Humming thoughtfully, you think back to when you and the band first rolled into town on the tour bus. The flashing neon signs had advertised everything from magic shows to strip teases, but one event stuck out in your mind among the rest.
“What about EDC?” you find yourself asking, not quite realizing that you’re thinking out loud.
“That rave thing?” Colson asks incredulously, twisting from your grip to look at you. “Is that this week?”
“According to the flashing neon signs all along the strip, yeah I’m pretty sure it is,” you look at Colson expectantly, feeling that deep down he’s probably going to say no. Sure, you and your boyfriend are known partiers, but ravers are a whole different story.
Much to your surprise, Colson doesn’t say no right away. Instead, he lifts his eyes to meet yours, raising an eyebrow as if to say; Go on, convince me.
“Well, if you think about it a rave is kind of perfect,” you explain, “we can enter through the VIP section and by the time we slip into the crowd, no one will recognize us.”
“We don’t have anything to wear,” Colson argues, a smirk beginning to form on his face.
You roll your eyes, “Oh my god, Colson. Where is your sense of imagination?”
...
After about an hour of rummaging through yours and Colson’s suitcases, you were finally able to pull together some impromptu rave outfits from your boyfriend’s stage wear. There honestly wasn’t much in the both of your luggage that was rave appropriate, but, from what you could see online, it seems that the less clothes the better. For some reason, the idea of dressing up and pretending to be someone else excites you. Colson, on the other hand, doesn’t seem as thrilled.
“Baby, aren’t you worried that people won’t know that you’re mine?” Colson complains, trying to mask the concern in his voice as he begrudgingly allows you to smear some of your body glitter on his neck and shoulders.
Using your glitter coated hands, you grab the sides of Colson’s face and pull yourself up on the tips of your toes. Placing a soft kiss to his lips, you face the worry in Colson’s eyes.
“Nope,” you reply, “I’ll be with you the whole time, silly.”
Colson sighs, “But you look so good like that.” Your boyfriend gestures to your body with a tattooed hand, making your cheeks turn pink.
Considering the fact that you and Colson weren’t prepared for a rave, you had decided to dress up your old bikini with one of your boyfriend’s long, Off-White belts and a pair of platform sneakers. It’s nothing spectacular, but you’re definitely showing off way more skin than you’re used to.
“Oh whatever,” you giggle, “by the time I’m done with you, you’ll be looking even better.”
You dig through your suitcase and pull out a large, shredded cropped t-shirt and hand it to your boyfriend. It’s a shirt that you usually wear to bed, but you figure it’s something no one would ever expect Colson to wear.
“What the hell is this?” he asks. “Gotta cover that MGK back tattoo somehow,” you smirk, delighted at the opportunity to force Colson into a crop top.
Rolling his eyes, Colson tugs the shirt over his head, the ripped hem only reaching to the middle of his torso. You can feel your mouth fall open as you watch the thin fabric cling to your boyfriend’s chest, accentuating every ripple of muscle perfectly.
“I look ridiculous,” Colson complains as he catches a glimpse of his reflection in the bathroom mirror, “Worst of all, I still look like me.”
“Not for long,” you say, dangling a bandana in front of his face. You had snagged a few from one of Colson’s merch guys at the beginning of the tour, and now is the perfect time to put one to good use.
You help Colson tie the bandana around his neck so that he can pull it up over his nose and mouth later. Sure, a few dedicated fans still might recognize the two of you, but under the flashing lights you were almost positive that you would have no problems blending in.
With an excited grin you squeeze Colson’s hand, “Ready?”
...
As you and Colson approach the VIP entrance, you can feel your stomach bubbling up with excitement at the sight of laser lights flashing in the distance. The far off roar of the crowd gets your heart pumping as you step forward, the gentle hum of the bass buzzing beneath your feet. You are just about to pull Colson through the gate when he grips your arm firmly, bringing you to a full stop.
“Hey baby, gimme just a second, okay? I’ll be right back,” Colson says, ducking away and jogging back towards the parking lot.
Confused, you lean against the fence by the entrance and decide not to question Colson’s motives. More than likely he was probably going somewhere quiet to give his daughter a quick, goodnight phone call. The image brings a smile to your face as you think about how big your boyfriend’s heart is. Colson would bend over backwards for the people he loves, and you felt so lucky that you got to be one of them.
After a few more moments of being lost in thought, you catch sight of Colson returning with a huge smile plastered across his face.
“Where’d you run off to?” you ask.
Colson reaches into his back pocket and pulls out a small plastic bag with four little blue pills inside.
“I figured if we’re going to go to a rave, we might as well do it right,” Colson replies, shaking the bag in front of you triumphantly.
You bounce on your heels excitedly, and give your boyfriend a peck on the cheek. Of all the things you and Colson had done together, ecstasy had somehow flown under your radar.
“Want one, baby?” Colson asks sweetly, leaning in until he’s inches away from your face. You nod back vigorously, wanting more than anything to get the night started properly.
“Then come get it,” he grins, popping one of the blue pills into his open mouth.
Using the bandana around Colson’s neck for leverage, you pull your boyfriend down to your level and connect your mouth with his. Colson pulls you flush against him, not caring about the crowd of people inevitably watching from afar, fingers digging possessively into the small of your back. Gripping your jaw roughly with a single hand, he dispenses the pill into your open mouth with the tip of his tongue.
Pulling away from Colson, you swallow the pill. He tries to lean in for another kiss, but you step just out of his reach. As breathless as Colson’s touch makes you feel, you know it’ll be even better after the ecstasy takes effect.
“Easy there, rockstar,” you coo, tugging Colson’s arm in the direction of the VIP gate, “let’s get this party started.”
...
As it turns out, the flashing lights and distance music at the gate are nothing compared to what it’s like amongst the crowd. You and Colson had rushed past the VIP pool parties and roped off bottle service sections in favor of the pulsing, sweating mass of people at the center stage. Colson allows you to pull him along, his bandana secured firmly over the lower half of his face.
Of all the concerts and music festivals you had been to, you had never been able to feel the music radiating through your body quite like it is right now. As soon as you find that the two of you are sufficiently lost in a sea of strangers, you can feel Colson’s long arms weave around your abdomen, pulling you closer. You grind your hips against his, allowing your body to move in tandem with the rhythm of the music.
You grin as Colson’s hands wander up your body, lingering over every curve. Usually you wouldn’t be okay with this much public affection, but under the kaleidoscope of neon light and sound, nothing seems to matter. Everywhere you look, people are melting into one another, and you find yourself wondering how something so public could be this intimate.
As your hips gyrate to the beat, you realize it’s nearly impossible to know how much time is passing. Your heart pounds erratically in your chest and, suddenly, it feels as though Colson’s touch isn’t enough. Despite the amount of people around, you are desperate to have him closer.
Turning to face your boyfriend, you wrap your arms around his neck, leaving your face just inches away from his. Colson grabs your ass, sharply pulling you so that your legs are woven between his. Teasingly, you roll your body, riding against his upper thigh. As his grasp on you tightens, you decide to lick a stripe on the part of the bandana where his mouth should be. To your satisfaction, you can feel his length harden in the leg of his jeans.
You try to look up at Colson innocently, but something in his eyes has darkened beyond the point of return. With one arm still firmly holding you in place, Colson slowly runs a free hand down your exposed stomach. Your breath hitches as one of his fingers plays with the waist of your bikini line. Pleading with your eyes, you try your best to protest against his touch but the contact feels far too good for you to care.
Colson’s hand slowly sinks past your waistband, palming your heat possessively. His fingers rub against you teasingly, careful to avoid making contact with your clit. The ecstasy pumping through your veins makes every touch better than the last, and you know that if Colson could hear you, you’d already be a begging mess.
As if he can read you mind, Colson slips a finger inside of you. Your nails dig into Colson’s shoulders as you rock against his touch. All of the blood in your body is singing as it flows through you, and you feel more physically connected to Colson now than ever. You moan as your boyfriend inserts another finger, but the sound is lost amongst the crowd as it continues to envelop the both of you.
With shaky hands, you lift Colson’s bandana enough to connect your mouth to his, the movement of his hand getting more frantic as you breathe into him. You can feel your orgasm building with the increasing tempo of the music, the added vibration stimulating your body in ways you didn’t think possible.
It only takes one final curl of Colson’s fingers before you’re clenching around him, your orgasm overtaking you in waves of burning hot pleasure. Using both hands to support your trembling body, Colson kisses you deeply. The sensation isn’t as intense, but it brings you and your hazy thoughts back down to earth.
Even though you can still feel the music vibrating within your chest, you can almost swear that yours and Colson’s hearts are humming to the same rhythm. You continue to move and sway against him, not willing to let go just yet. Colson seems to share your feelings and leans into your embrace. You smile contentedly as he begins to pepper gentle kisses along your neck and jawline, his touch is as gentle as the beat of butterfly wings.
It might be the drugs talking, but you can definitely envision yourself doing this again. Very, very soon.

Live Report the Gazette @ le Bataclan 06/14/19
This was meant to be a three sentence post about my feelings for the live but somehow it took on a life on its own, so have my own, amateurish attempt at a live report 笑 I don't even know where to begin.
Our day (us being the lovely @ino-en-blue and me) started at 7:30am. We got up and got ready to leave for the venue. We left at 8am, and arrived at the venue shortly before 9am. We got our numbers for the queue, which a friend kindly reserved for us. We were 47th and 48th in line for VIP. For the first 3h, we just sat in front of the venue. We met up with @kagefumin and other lovely people. Most of the time we just spent chatting, and eating and playing some card games (which Milo won and I was last at 笑). At around 9am, the tour bus with the staff and the musical equipment arrived. They told us to move away from the venue a bit, so they could get everything inside. One staff member also informed us that the Gazette were not on that bus themselves, but that they would arrive in another one at a later time. (At roughly the same time, Kai posted about his troubles with the cup of coffee on instagram 笑.) We also got to sign one of the banners that some lovely fans had prepared (there were two of those banners floating around for fans to sign, but we only left our signatures on one of them.)
At about 1pm, the French fans organizing everything told us that staff required us to leave our waiting area in front of the venue, since we were getting in the way of the adjacent shops and passersby. We grabbed our stuff, and moved across the street to the nearby park. Thanks to the numbering system, we didn't have to worry about leaving our spot at all, since we would be sorted by numbers again in queue later on.
At the park, we waited some more, met some more people, and pretty much just chatted and rested a bit. I spotted two awesome cosplayers, and was really impressed by their costumes and appearances, and the dedication and efforts they put into creating their cosplays. It was also awesome to see some cosplayers in the flesh. At about 2:30pm we left the park for a while to get some food. When we got back, the organizers informed us that they would hand out glow sticks to everyone to ignite and hold up during the ballads (I think we ignited some of them prematurely by having glow stick battles in line 笑 though it was hard to tell in the sun). Then we got asked to line up outside the park by numbers. Heresy members got the chance to pick up the Heresy exclusive gift, a wristband. Then we got back in line, and at 5pm they started to lead the first VIP groups back to the venue, where we waited some more. We also took a bunch of cute pictures while we were waiting. At 6pm, staff finally started to let us into the venue. Security checked both bags and persons, then let us enter the venue. Inside, we were given the chance to drop our bags off at the cloakroom, and we were handed the VIP gift towels (made of microfiber). At the left side of the entrance room, there were boxes for the members' gifts. Staff told us we had to drop all gifts into the boxes, we were not allowed to hand them to the members personally during the meet & greet. We also got informed that the guys were running late, which is probably one of the reasons why the meet & greet was so rushed. It took place before the actual live, which was kinda meh imo, since that also meant the meeting was going to be rushed and very short. In line, we were told only handshakes were allowed, though I later heard a bunch of fans screwed the rules as usual, and asked for hugs nevertheless.
As said before, the m&g was really rushed, which was kinda disappointing, tbh. It started with Uruha, and all I was really able to do was shake their hands and tell them thank you as they also thanked us. They all looked gorgeous, and they were really sweet and polite. Meeting Uruha and Ruki is already a blur for me, I have to admit, but I think they were smiling politely. Kai and Reita were real sweethearts, they were grinning happily and warmly, and they both took my hand in both of theirs. Last was Aoi. Oh boy. He was... stunningly beautiful. I mean, obviously they all were, but the whole "pictures don't do them justice" felt especially true with him. He was simply breathtaking. Also, even though they were all wearing heavy makeup, to me it seemed like he wasn't wearing as much as the others — or it just looked more natural, idk, I can‘t really describe it. He simply looked incredibly handsome. When he saw me... I swear I could read his thoughts off his face & the look he gave me. It was so obvious it was downright cute. Like, I'm not only only 1,50m (4'11") small, I also look very young (people often estimate my age to be around 12-14). So I KNOW that look that people usually give me. And he had the exact same look on his face, "Omg you're a child, what's a child doing here?!" I just could read his surprise & confusion off his face, so I gave him a half knowing, half awkward smile. At that, his confusion disappeared and he smiled back. RIP me.
We managed to snatch second row, in the center, with Ruki's platform right in front of us and Kai's drum set behind. Staff were setting up the technological equipment and the instruments. Luckily, there wasn't much of a line yet in front of the merch store, so we rushed over there and managed to snatch the stuff we wanted to get (though they accidentally messed up sizes for two of our shirts, and my friend Ino ended up with the S I was looking to get for my shirt and I ended up with an L but oh well, we'll manage). Getting back in line was a bit of a hassle, since I think people thought we were trying to cut in line, when we were just trying to get back to our friends 笑. Then we waited some more while some rock music was playing. I was standing behind some Japanese fans, and the guy was sadly fairly tall, which blocked a big part of my view to the stage. In general, I didn't have much space to move around or even place my feet anywhere to stand properly lol. With this uncomfortable position, I waited amongst my friends some more, and we were growing more and more excited as well as impatient. Some time later, they started to let in General Audience. Then, a staff member came on stage. He asked us whether we were ready to see the Gazette, and the whole room just went nuts. He informed us that taking any pictures or videos during the live was strictly forbidden, and that cellphones mustn't be used. At that, most people applauded, though some people of course booed *rolls eyes*. But as far as I know, most people kept to the rule, we didn't see any phones around the first few rows of the audience at all. Finally, quite on time (as far as I could tell), the lights went off and the live started.
99.999 started playing, and the whole audience lost their shit. During the SE, the guys came on stage one after one, starting by Kai (if I recall correctly). Ruki came in last. Falling started and the audience went completely nuts. Most of the performance is just a blur to me now, and I sadly didn't see much of Uruha or Kai from my position, so I won't be talking about each song individually. At first, I barely could see Ruki and Reita from my gap, but as the live progressed, I ended up in a slightly changed position, which gave me less of a view on Ruki but therefore I had Aoi perfectly in sight for the rest of the live. The boys were all in top condition. Ruki's vocals were on point, his screams and growls were to die for. Reita was playful during the entire live, licking his fingers a bunch of times and showing his tongue (similarly to his selfie he posted on Instagram later lol see at the end of the report), or coming to the front of the stage to jam there. Aoi mostly kept in his spot, but he smiled inwardly the whole time. He looked especially happy and proud during the NINTH songs, when the audience went nuts and sang along to them, and I was under the impression it made him really happy how much we responded to their new songs. Ruki made some of his cute little dances, and also touched himself during a few songs (though I couldn't name any of them in hindsight except for Filth in the Beauty), or just tugged at the hem of his purple suit to reveal more of his chest. Overall, he was just being his enthusiastic and dramatic self while performing. They were all extremely on point for most of the live (I only heard someone say Ruki's timing was a bit off during Tomorrow Never Dies and Kai apparently shot him a confused glance, but I myself did not catch that). Sadly, as mentioned before, I barely saw Uruha from my position, and I also focused on Aoi most of the time 笑. I managed to catch a few glimpses of him during some of his solos though, which were absolutely fantastic. I also heard he went down on his knees quite a lot and headbanged often, but I failed to catch any of it.
The first few songs were a blast (I'll post a photo of the setlist down below), though I had difficulties enjoying and focusing on them from time to time since people began to push like crazy from the back, and I had to concentrate quite often on not getting squished. That's why I sadly can‘t say much more to their actual performance onstage (also, the songs involved a lot of headbanging so there was no time to focus on the stage, naturally lol). I did catch Aoi accidentally stepping on the cord of Ruki's microphone, and grinning apologetically before stepping off again. During その声は脆く, people got out their glow sticks and waved them around. Until the first chorus, Aoi was actually sitting down on a stool, I think (at least that's what it looked like from my position). Contrary to what I thought from listening to the song on headphones, they did not actually share the guitar solo, but Uruha performed the solo by himself (which, ngl, I was a bit disappointed about). He did a great job at the solo though! I still would've loved and died if they had shared the solo and switched in between the way it also sounds like if you listen to the song via headphones. I was ecstatic that they played Dogma, and during VORTEX and The Suicide Circus, the audience sang along wholeheartedly (e.g., the 'tick tock' part was sung solely by the audience). During one of the songs (sadly I don't remember which it was, might've been UGLY or Tomorrow Never Dies) when they were firing up the audience, Ruki actually walked along the edge of the stage and held out the microphone to the audience to catch and amplify our shouts. He also gave some fans high fives during one of the songs (sorry, again, I don't actually remember during which song, everything's already a blur OTL). The last song on the main list they played was Filth in the Beauty. Afterwards, they left the stage, and Kai came up to the front of the stage and we cheered on him as loudly as we could.
Between songs, Ruki actually spoke some French phrases (like "Bonsoir", "Ça va" and "Nous sommes the Gazette"), which was really cute and adorable! He also made several 'it's so hot' gestures, like fanning himself and sticking his tongue out.
Then we were waiting for the encore, and boy, I did not have any strength left by then. Other people seemed to be the same, and the encore calls came and went in waves like the tide. I think everyone was struggling with their energy reserves by then, and temporarily, I got worried that our encore calls lacked the energy and enthusiasm which would encourage them to come out again. Alas, apparently it was still enough, and they came out again. I was so happy and relieved. Uruha, Kai and Aoi were wearing some of the World Tour shirts (Aoi's tattoo actually peaked out from underneath his sleeve *drools*), Reita and Ruki were still in their costumes. Reita was carrying the French Gazette flag, he showed it to us, then put it on display on Ruki's platform. Aoi brought out another flag, a fan-made one, which had the dates of the live, the Gazette logo and chibi drawings of the members on it. He showed it around and looked so fucking adorably proud as he did so, I can't even put it into words.
When all of them except for Ruki had come out, we started to sing Happy Birthday for Uruha as a late gift. The other members caught up quite quickly, but he himself seemed rather oblivious at first 笑. It wasn't until Reita and Kai pointed it out to him that he understood the song was actually for him. He pointed at himself in surprise, but in the end bowed and thanked us. Kai yelled "Happy Birthday, Uruha!!" into his microphone, then Uruha pointed at Reita and Kai went "Now do it for him", to which Reita shook his head no almost panicky lol. Kai shouted a few phrases in English at us ("Bring it on!" and "You [yes, he made that cute grammatical error, it was endearing] fucking amazing!" are the ones I recall), then, they started to play Inside Beast. Everyone was firing up the audience, and Aoi and Ruki both gestured at us that we weren't loud enough. Aoi even shook his head in disapproval. At one point during the song, Aoi actually blew the audience a kiss *dies*.
Next up was Shiver. Oh boy. I know there's a lot of people who don't particularly like that song, but it is a true blast live. All songs are, of course, but I feel like this is one of the songs the studio version does no justice at all. It was amazing, and Uruha's solo was on point. Aoi's solo though truly hit me, it was beautiful and perfect, and he looked so happy performing it (yes, I know, I'm biased 笑), it made me wish he got to play more solos; he seemed to really liven up during the solo.
People who have been following me for a while know that I'm a hardcore Aoiki shipper. And I fucking can‘t believe it. It actually happened. Right in front of my eyes. During a live that I attended. At one point during Shiver, Ruki walked over to Aoi, and smacked his butt firmly. Aoi grinned. And I died. I screamed so loudly, I think I caused everyone around me to go deaf. I'm so happy that I actually got blessed with Aoiki fanservice the one time I attended a live. What are the odds? (Even in a non-shippy way, it was a true blessing to witness this kind of interaction between the two members I love the most.)
But to make this night truly unforgettable for me, they closed the live with Tomorrow Never Dies. Again, there are a lot of people who greatly dislike the fact that they play this song a lot, but I was extremely happy. There's just something magical, moving and powerful about the feeling of singing "Don't kill yourself" along with Ruki, it touched me greatly. During the song, he walked over to Uruha to rest his arm on his shoulder. Then, he pretended to readjust his guitar strings to which Uruha shot him a "don't you dare mess with her" glance, before Ruki jammed out to the tunes of his guitar. (Side note: Uruki is my second favorite ship, so to get this cute interaction on top was just the fucking cherry on top!) During the song, Ruki grabbed some bottles of water and sprayed us with them (bless him so much omg we truly needed it), then threw the bottles into the audience. At the end of the song, he spew his fountain of water as usual. At one point during the song, Reita went over to Kai's platform to jam out with him, which was adorable af and made me extremely happy. Uruha's solo was killer, and Ruki's a capella part was to die for, as always.
When the song was over, they thanked us, and Aoi, Reita and Uruha threw their remaining picks into the audience. Sadly, Aoi mostly focused on his part of the stage, I would've loved to get one of his picks. But don't be too greedy, right? I was already beyond happy with the things I did get that night. Kai took a picture of the audience from behind his drum set, then walked up and jumped onto Ruki's platform to be properly celebrated like the king he is. He looked truly stunning up close, up on that platform towering above us, while the others left the stage (if I recall correctly, Ruki wrapped himself into the French flag as he thanked us.) Then, Kai left after the others, and the live was officially over.
We pretty much gathered our things, rested a bit on the floor until staff kicked us out lol. A friend went back to the merch store to change their hoodie to a different size, then we collected our stuff from the cloakroom and left the venue. In front of the venue, we met up with some people again, and chatted some more. We said goodbye to people, and rested in front of the tour bus for a while longer. There was a guy selling posters of the live, and another one (I think he was staff) asked us whether we would wait on the band to come out; which apparently was possible and allowed, but it would've taken 2-3 hours of more wait, and since we were tired and exhausted and drenched af, we decided against it. We changed into some dried clothes (we got from the merch store), and eventually made our way to the subway, and home.
There are some extra things I wanna mention but did not know where to put them in the actual report, so I'll just add them here. As mentioned before, the French fans organizing everything and keeping everything in order were doing an amazing job. I wish there was a way to thank them properly. Also, during the live, staff handed bottles of water around and "fed" us with it to keep us hydrated. Twice, the dude poured the water all over my chin, and I actually got some in my nose as well, which was rather unpleasant. But as such, the water was a true blessing. I just had my whole shirt soaked by it, which was why I was freezing once we got out of the venue. The hoodie I managed to snatch from the merch store and changed into helped keep me warm and comfortable though, bless Ruki!
Also, outside the venue after the live there was a girl just giving away some of her popsicles, which was incredibly generous and thoughtful — not all heroes wear capes!
There was a bunch of shoving and squishing going on during the live to the point I barely had a square meter left to stand and move around, and I had to focus a lot of energy and attention into bracing myself against the shoves from behind while simultaneously trying not to get hit by any body parts from the front (I actually took an elbow to the lip LOL as expected). Other than that, the fans were all really polite and some were truly considerate. The guy next to me actually offered to trade places with me so I could see a bit better, which was extremely kind of him.
During one of the closing songs (it was either Filth in the Beauty or Tomorrow Never Dies), some people threw some stuff onstage, sadly. At the time, I couldn't tell what it had been, I only saw something hit the stage, and Ruki look at the floor in both amusement and a bit of weirded out awkwardness. Later on, I heard it had actually been a glow stick and a shirt that had been thrown onstage (and had been aimed at Ruki). Other than that, there were no remarkable (negative) instances. The guys did look really happy, and I hope, from the bottom of my heart, that they were enjoying themselves. Even with the negative things (e.g. the shoving, etc.) I was still having the time of my life. I never pushed my body to and over its limits like that ever before, and the guys were worth every second of it. I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to see them live, and I'm so grateful for what this band has done for any of us, and me in particular, and that they continue to do for us and give us. They deserve the world, and I'm so happy and grateful I got to be part of theirs for one night. They were simply amazing, and it's true that any studio version, and any report or picture doesn't do them any justice. They're so incredibly talented, and they perform with such professionalism yet passion it's awe-inspiring. Even if I could remember more about their musical performances in depth, I wouldn't even know how to put it into words.
I hope I'll get to experience them live again one day.
I was also overjoyed to meet people I had been friends with for a while online irl for the very first time. You are all so damn sweet and I was so happy to meet all of you in person. And to meet such lovely people for the first time (I'd love to tag you all in this, but most of you don't have a tumblr, I think 笑). I hope to also see all of you again one day!

The GazettE in Dallas personal Live Report
I've never written one of these for a show i've been to so excuse me if it's clumsy. My concert buddies and I were aiming to get to the venue in the a.m. hours but Brittney and I took so long on hair and makeup that we didn't get there until noon. Oops.
It was Ridiculously hot and sweaty outside and I am not from Texas, i'm from near Seattle so i'm not used to it. And i didnt bring sunblock. My bf brought me some partway through the day but I still got a little burned. Met a lot of friends in the line that helped make it feel less than the 6 and a half hour wait it was. Signed the banner for the band and some Birthday cards for Reita.
The WT19 Documentary staff walked by with the camera and actually interviewed me! I thought I did well but my friends later teased me to death about talking too much and telling my whole life story so idk;;;; I still hope they use a bit of it because I didn't get in the WT16 dvd at all even though I went to LA.
I was VIP so the early entry was a lifesaver. Managed to be near the front of the merch line and actually snagged a Kai and an Uruha bear keychain. Ruki was sold out before I even saw it and Reita sold out a few people in front of me. I also got a tshirt and a hoodie but it was the bears I was REALLY hoping really bad I could get because I didn't own any yet.
And I still managed to get a really good spot after so I'm glad I didn't feel pressured to skip the merch line in favor of a spot. I wasn't directly at the barricade, i had probably 3 or 4 people in front of me. But to me it was perfect because I could see all the members without craning my neck instead of just the one close to me, and I was still way close enough to see all their beautiful faces in detail.
I don't rememeber the setlist in order whatsoever but other people posted it so. Anyway. Falling was Awesome and the first song after the intro. I was mostly distracted in awe just to be standing so close to them all. At the last show I couldn't afford VIP and I was stuck way up in a balcony. So this was just Surreal to me.
A lot of the middle is such a blur but I remember feeling like I had never smiled so wide in my whole entire life and no matter what they played I would have been happy. I was even So excited to hear Filth in the Beauty even though I usually complain about how overplayed it is. I know they played Dogma, which I heard at the last tour of course, but it was Way better being this close and personal.
Aoi is increadibly magnetic and attractive. There's no way to explain it. It's not just that he's hot- mind you, of course he Is, but.. something about him. The way he carries himself. Its hard to take your eyes off of him. The rest is pretty much what other people say, confirmed. Uruha makes a lot of Weird faces, especially during solos. But its super cute. Ruki has not gotten Any better at dancing and I wouldn't have it any other way. Kai is all smiles. Reita's always bobbing his head with the music like a little parakeet. I don't know what to say. Its all so much more touching being there to see it up close.
The last song of the encore was Tomorrow Never Dies and I was just.. crying the whole time honestly. Any final song would be a little emotional but they had to choose That one. It defeinitely got to me.
After the show VIP was immediately lining up for the meet and greet and I was confused about where to go. But we found it. I waited and took some post-show selfies with Brittney. The whole experience was just.. even more special being with my best friend after so long.
-The meet and greet.-
It was. Interesting. I was not prepared.
The line moved a lot faster than I was expecting and before I knew it my boyfriend pointed out that they were right there and Holy Shit he was right. I needed to get my gifts out of my bag and ready Pronto, because I made Ruki a drawing on the plane and I made Uruha a cute little gift bag with specially made stickers, a kitkat and a note I wrote him. (I wanted something for everyone but work got in the way and I ran out of time..) ANYWAY my baggie for Uruha got caught in the zipper of my purse. Like. Really caught bad. The line was still moving. Panic ensued. My boyfriend was behind me so i asked him to help if he could. He couldn't get it.
Then Aoi was right in front of me. The caught present would have to wait for later. I don't remember exactly what I said. A stammering excited ramble while we clasped hands. He was an amazing guitarist, beautiful, things like that. He makes eye contact. They all make good eye contact but especually Aoi. They all have soft warm hands. But each handshake passes in the blink of an eye before I can process it. My brain is a scrambled mess.
Reita. I thank him and pause briefly to think of something personal I can actually say to him. I gave an enthusiastic "You Rock", to which he smiles and agrees with a nod. "Yes!", he says. It was really cute. Probably could have said something more meaningful but at least i'm sure he understood me. Mostly everyone else got an incoherent mess of trying to say as much as I could in such a brief time period.
Ruki. I totally forget I have a present for him by the way. Im holding his hands and busy being Dazzled at how gorgeous he is in person. It's incredible. I tell him he's an amazing singer and i've always looked up to him. Throw in a few other compliments in the fleeting moment before I have to move on. Not sure how much he understands but he smiles and thanks me a couple times.
Kai. He's just glowing and beaming. Smiles so bright. Its very cute. I tell him hes an awesome drummer. I honestly forget what else I said. As I was moving between him and Uruha I remembered Uruhas stuck present. And that made me remember I was supposed to give Ruki a present. Oh shit. Panic. Reach in my bag and slide the piece of paper across the table to him. "Sorry! This is for you!" I don't mean to be chaotic I just really want him to have it. Luckily its my own boyfriend I interrupted his meeting with. Ruki seems amused and thanks me again. Hopefully he actually is and doesnt think i'm rude.
Fiddling with the god damned stuck gift bag as I step over to Uruha in a panic. Eyes wide. Stop to shake his hands. No freaking clue what I even ramble out to him I forget. Im panicking over the present because I dont have long til I have to go. I let go of his hands to fiddle with it again because I Really want him to have it. I worked really hard on it. I realize last second that i can just pull the gifts Out of the little baggie and drop them out on the table in front of him in a panic. "Kit-kat.." I drop it. He thanks me. Im sure I look like a mess. Not sure if he's frightened or flatterd by my determination as the staff starts to try to usher me along. "Stickers-!" I say as I put those down too. Really not sure he even understood what that meant. He might just think its a drawing. Don't know. But he of course thanks me. The poor staff lady is tapping at my shoulder trying to get me to leave. I still have the notecard that has to go with the stickers. I'm apologizing repeatedly to everyone involved as I finally get that to him as well and leave as quickly as possible so as to not cause chaos or hold up the line.
I get outside and meet back up with Brittney and my boyfriend who of course think the whole ordeal was Hilarious. I am mortified and I hope Uruha doesn't think i'm a lunatic. I like to tell myself he probably just thought it was funny but I have no way to know.
We all go to waffle house because its late and we are all starving. My boyfriend is in awe over how tiny Ruki is and he thinks its adorable. Brittney Genuinely misremembered and thought Ruki was sitting down at the meet and greet even though everyone else was standing?? We laugh our asses off. I'm still embarrassed but overall I had an awesome unforgettable night. I hope I didn't leave too bad of an impression. I'm sorry that was so long, i'm a writer and I like to ramble.

I went to see Miyavi today and it was absolutely one of the hottest days I have intentionally spent outside without being at the beach or pool or something like that. I woke up at 6 and left my house by 7:15 so I could line up early. I only had GA so I wanted to make sure I was gonna have a good spot in the line but I also wanted to be up close with my friends who also usually camp out all day.
Got there at like...9-ish and was the actual fourth person in line. Among the folks who had GA tickets, I was actually second cuz half were VIP and half were GA. This was the first time Miyavi had performed in NYC but not at Irving Plaza or at a special event somewhere else so I was joking around that maybe the rest of the line was actually there by mistake lol.
Another 2 people showed up over the next 3 hours before Miyavi got to the venue. So he got out of the van and he came over. Almost didn't stop to greet all of us individually. Like we were right next to the door and he looked like he was gonna say hi while walking in but then he recognized at least 2 of the people in the line and thought better of it. Shook everyones hand and had something slightly different to say to each of us before heading inside. All in the spirit of thanking us for being here or asking if we were ready to rock and what not. Like 10 minutes later, the next few folks joined the line and we were screaming over him coming by still and they were so upset they missed him.
I spent the rest of my day just chatting and catching up with my friends that I really only end up seeing like once a year at Miyavi shows and seriously hate it. I need to see y'all more often! I honestly almost cried on the train ride home thinking about how I'm gonna miss y'all. </3
The girl who got in line directly behind me ended up being one of the most amazing human beings I could have met that day. Her friend bailed on her after she had bought two VIP tickets so she had an extra one. WHICH SHE GAVE TO ME. So I got to go inside and have the meet and greet experience before the show! I kind of was so much in shock that I didn't really tell him much of anything other than thanking him and telling him I look forward to rocking with him. We were told by security that we weren't allowed to touch him but he extended his hand before I could even say hi. And he like put his arm around my shoulder and pulled me flush against his side for the pictures. I had ZERO space between me and him in that picture and it was done by him, not me creeping on his personal space. lol.
It wasn't until this afternoon that the full weight of HAVING MET HIM AND BEING ABLE TO SPEAK TO HIM FOR LIKE A FULL MINUTE is a THING THAT HAPPENED crashed on me and I just started crying while sitting on my couch. I just remember the first time I saw him and it was just overwhelming to be in the same room as him with hundreds of other fans. This time, it was literally me, Miyavi, two photographers, and maybe a manager and security staff somewhere behind the lights that I couldn't see. I couldn't quite get out the words I wanted to. I couldn't get up the nerve to thank him for giving me something to pull myself out of my depression when I was a teenager. I couldn't get up the nerve to tell him he is going to be the inspiration for my next tattoo that is going to be a companion to my the GazettE tattoo. So I'm a little bit bummed at myself for that but I still got the pictures and the as-close-to one-on-one time I will ever get with him unless I run into him on his free time and I am thankful for that and will choose to focus on that instead.
Leave the m&g and walked in a daze up to the barricade where my friends are waiting. looked at the pictures and they both turned out surprisingly good. I went to check out getting merch but the line for that was WAY too long and there was only one person behind the table selling stuff so I gave up when I saw the people I recognized to be the front of the GA line coming in. I knew it meant I might have trouble getting back to my friends who were saving my place at the barricade and I don't need to be buying merch, I'm okay without it.
Stood around chatting with folks and making even more new friends for the next 2 hours but it seemed to FLY by. Almost. When the show started I expected to get crushed against the barricade but I didn't. I actually had a few inches to move on all sides around me so I was able to keep my feet from growing numb like usual. I had stashed my bag in a friends hotel room nearby so I didn't have to worry about stepping on that or anything and my phone was secured in another friend's bag so I was completely free to enjoy as much as I wanted.
And enjoy I did. I was positioned on the drum side of center but still 3 people off of the dead center. I was on the barricade. I screamed and cheered and sung my heart out. I headbanged when I could. I have the bruises on the back of my upper arms to prove I was on the barricade and resting my arms on it throughout. Miyavi kept teasing us with his sexiness that somehow only gets stronger the more times I see him. I can't explain it.
We taught him some English slang, you're the sauce. He was so confused "s.a.u.c.e. sauce?" Spelling it out. Asking DJ johnny. Said he would Google it later since he still didnt fully trust us to be honest with the meaning we gave him lol. Someone in the crowd shouted about wanting pizza and Takamasa Lee Ishihara replied "pizza? no, I prefer Whole Foods" and I almost peed myself from laughter.
He also is so sexy I actually went weak at the knees when he did some shit.
In the chats I had with my friends before, I convinced them to help me get Bobo (the drummer)'s attention. So when he came out we all screamed like crazy for him instead of Miyavi. And we were right in front of his drum set so they knew we were there. Every time it was quiet enough after songs, I started a Bobo-call. First two times it happened Bobo sat there with zero emotion on his face, staring at the wall across from him. Miyavi was watching it unfold with amusement and would say something to Bobo but not into his microphone so no clue what it was but he would say something and then laugh. I had kinda given up hope that I would get properly acknowledged until the very end of the show. After they all bowed after encore, I kept calling him instead of Myv and giving him hearts and he noticed and looked so cute and embarrassed and like nodded/hands together bowed at me. He is just the most precious.
My friend got a copy of the setlist so that's attached here. This man is a fucking beast and I love him so much.
I also love all of my friends who were there. Thank you all for loving me and accepting me into our lovely #concertfam

Seoul Limited and Forever with Babyz (Madrid)
I’m about half a year late, but I just want to share a bit of my B.A.P concert experiences both in Seoul Limited and Forever With Babyz tour in Madrid. You know, if anyone’s interested…
First of all, how did I get to Seoul? I applied for a month-long summer university program and I got a smaller tuition fee thanks to my schools being partner universities. Still, it took me about 5 years to get enough funds. I’m not going to talk much about that in here, but it was the most amazing time of my life. I do advise everyone not to ONLY go there for running after a potential Korean boyfriend tho. The culture is so much more than kpop-related fantasies.
Ok, on to the actual topic- B.A.P. While in Seoul, I did want to see the TS building with my own two eyes (so I’d know where to go to throw the tomatoes, haha). Therefore, one evening me and my fellow coursemate/ friend went to look for it, but apparently that day B.A.P and TRCNG had a practice there as it came out. When we approached the building, Zelo was chatting with someone in front of the house, but seeing us coming scared him off and he fleed to the building. I felt so sorry for him, because it must be a common occurrence for them to not get privacy even there by the way he reacted. So, I got nervous because I really wanted to have a picture in front of the building, but I didn’t want to be causing any discomfort to them. Me and my friend decided to take a picture real quick and I kinda got my two half-blurry pictures in front of the building.
Here’s potato me making TS surrender to the Matoki power:
When we stood back a bit, I saw TRCNG entering the house and we decided to leave. While we were walking away, around the corner came Himchan who was, for some reason, followed (basically cornered) by a bunch of blonde chicks (stalkers I guess?). Since I was a bit too close, for some reason I thought it would be really impolite if I didn’t say anything so I bowed and let out „annyeonghaseyo“ (It’s really weird to type it out like that). He answered me with a nod and when he had entered TS, some Korean fans who were following set themselves to wait outside the doors. That was the last we saw them as we moved further away from the place…
Before going to the summer program and buying the plane tickets to Korea, I didn’t know B.A.P would have a concert. When it was announced, I praed for the dates to overlap with my stay. I was incredibly lucky, because B.A.P’s first Seoul Limited concert was on the last day of my stay. The day itself was super-hot (38+ degrees) and I had a lot of troubles from moving out the dorms with all of my luggage etc. In the morning I managed to go to the venue to buy some merch (got myself a matoki whistle and a t-shirt). In the afternoon, there were already fansites distributing free merch (got also 2 banners, but I lost my shiny Zelo banner at the concert T_T).
The queueing was so different from European stops, where we camp in front of the venes. Here you had a number on a ticket and you just went and looked for your spot in the line and everything went smoothly. I actually had bought two tickets, because I was hoping for someone to go with me (and to get more people to appreciate B.A.P, lol). I did manage to get a friend from the program to come with me, so it was a success. The venue was really well ventilated and the sound system was great. B.A.P had a live band to back them up and they put on a great show as always. Too bad I couldn’t really understand much when they did their talking. In the crowd, there was a couple and B.A.P pointed at them and stated that „This is how you take your girlfriend out. You take her to a B.A.P concert !“, and they continued to chat for a bit. The best things from the concert- Coma rock version, Blind and small snipets from songs fans had selected as the ones they want to hear from B.A.P the most, watergun fight, new solos and tons of adlibs. Even though my ticket queue number was quite big, the stage was so well built that when idols came off from the main stage to those cat-walks, I had maybe only 2 rows of people in front of me making it the closest I’ve been at a concert.
This is basically how I saw them went they came near:
But there is one thing I found different from previous concerts. I don’t know if it was because I was really nervous about my flights and everything that day, but the crowd in Europe felt more passionate. I guess it is just in the way we cheer. I mean, their fanchants and everything was on point, but somehow it felt more calm and collected that I was used to. Either way, I loved that I could be there with OT6 and that Jongup released his cute MV for Annoying as a memory of that day. Oh, oh, and I finally got on Himchan’s fancam J. Really blurry, but I know it’s me. Thank you Channie!
Moving on to my Madrid experience. At first, I didn’t really plan to go to another tour because I’d already seen them this year, but the fact that there were tickets with best perks I never really managed to get before still available started creeping on me. I had to decide whether to wait for the mess that was Berlin ticket sale or settle for the Madrid one. I decided to save myself from the excess stress and take the Madrid VVIP. I don’t regret going one bit even though the Youngbros organisation was freaking awful. As VVIP holders, we were promised more time at the high-touch than VIP but nothing like that happened. The signed poster was actually just printed on and they had ran out of black beanies before even half the VVIPs could pass the counter.
Just a small look at the merch etc:
The worst thing was that they messed with B.A.P’s sound system so some time the microphones didn’t really work and the security guys didn’t pay any attention to people fainting in the crowd, which Daehyun and Zelo had to point out to them (Zelo tried to get their attention in Spanish, Daehyun wanted to stop the song to resolve the case) and Jongup threw his own water bottle to fans in need. The concert itself was really good (even though we still missed Bang and were chanting his name from time to time). I loved being able to hear Howler in it’s Spanish home and Zelo went wild with the butt-slaps and butt-wiggles. During Do What I Feel, he threw his towel to the crowd and guess who was the lucky one to catch it! It still has his makeup on tho :D.
Haha, towel-kun has seen some things... At this point I knew. For 5 years, I didn’t manage to choose a bias in B.A.P. That was the day my bias chose me (lolololol)
The only kind of OK clips that I got from the concert was Youngjae’s acapella “I’m happy” and Jongup’s “Try my luck”, because I was trying to enjoy the concert too much which resulted in my hands being extra shaky.
There was also a lottery where they chose a random number and a fan for every member got a small canvas bag with member’s drawing and autograph on it. And a hug. At some point, Youngjae managed to hurt his shoulder, I hope he is ok now. Them teaching us the fanchant for All the way up was pretty memorable since they almost booed Daehyun off the stage because he couldn’t contain himself and do the right thing. And Zelo just went like “OMG, it’s our song”. We also had a support project for Himchan where we held his banners and chanted his name.
My high-touch experience. While we were standing in a line, the organisers started to let B.A.P take their positions near the wall. To get there, B.A.P walked through a small bordered area which was right next to where some of us were queueing. I noticed Himchan and told him “annyeong” for which he raised his head, looked at me and just had the cutest smile ever on his face. I made Himchan smile, everyone! I don’t know if he noticed that this is the one person who never manages to greet him correctly (me in Warsaw, Seoul and now Madrid). He was also first in line at high-touch and he was still so extra smiley at me.
To sum up the high-touch experience, this is basically it:
B.A.P with their beautiful hands vs Me coming from a jungle
And then this 1 second you had to admire all the beauty
I mean, there were so many things I wanted to say (just one sentence to each member), but I couldn’t do anything because it was too fast. I tried to tell them stuff in English or Korean, but they tried to tell me stuff in Spanish and in English and it was honestly such a mess. It was so funny. Then right after we had the group photo so I fastened my steps and got next to Zelo. After everything I just had to go to him. I could tell he did something over my head while taking the picture since he was touching it, but I had no actual idea what. The picture turned out better than I expected. I am not really good friends with cameras, specially when I don’t even know, where the cameraman is or when the picture is exactly taken. Got the cutest photo ever and I will now officially present my short ass as “Zelo’s armrest” since this is what he used me as.
Tbh, I had to photoshop my face on the picture a bit, because the camera reflected on me so bad that I looked like a Christmas tree in a Colgate commercial. Literally.
Anyways, after the short time for pictures, I could pass by all of them again and thanked them, especially Zelo, when I turned around. I love them all so much and I had soft hours for days after we got to know that Zelo shouldn’t have even been on the tour but he insisted to come. Made it all 10 times more memorable and important.
I wish I could also go to Yongguk’s tour. I don’t know if it’s possible, because I have already emptied my bank account for them. So I guess we’ll see what happens. I hope he receives a lot of love and support anyways.
That’s it, folks!

Chicago II July 25, 2018
Alright strap yourselves in cuz this is gonna be a long ass post WITH SPOILERS for Interactive Introverts. I will mark where spoilers begin if you want to read about pre show stuff. If you don't want any spoilers whatsoever, don't feel obligated to read this even if we're buddies! Feel free to send me an ask/dm instead 😅
Alright folks, let's go!
Playing the Waiting Game
I was supposed to get to the venue at 4 for m&g, but I got there before 3 because a) i'm terrified of being late and b) my uber driver made excellent time.
The venue was not open yet, so my bf and I walked to a nearby mall. We passed by the tour buses (presumably dnp's plus other performers'). There was a group of people hanging around them looking v stalkerish (please don't hang around the buses before the show)
We got back to venue around 3:50 and waited in line outside till 4 when the venue let us in. We were near the middle of the line, so if you want to be closer to the front, get there sooner lol
Turns out I was behind the lovely @noodlephil in line (although I didn’t know till after!)
Two internet friends were meeting for the first time and crying (it was adorable)
Inside, there was a table with staff that checked and marked our tickets then gave us silver paper wristbands
We got in a second line where we had a bag check (our venue allowed sealed water bottles, but that might vary) and were scanned by a wand metal detector. After that, staff scanned our tickets
We went to a third line which was the actual line for m&g and were told the m&g itself would start around 4:30
Marianne came by and said we would be waiting a bit longer for "latecomers" (im p sure dnp were the latecomers because most people were there at that point haha)
Marianne walked like a frickin goddess and her voice was beautiful
She made a speech giving us a rundown of how m&g would work, which I recorded
The m&g area was set up in the lobby to the side of the theatre doors
Dan and Phil entered from our left (towards the back of the theate)
They jogged across the m&g backdrop where we could see them better and waved. Dan did the cutest bouncy jump ever while waving. He stayed out longer than Phil
There was a table to set your bag on as you approached the backdrop
The music was loud af and there was NO WAY to see or hear other people's m&g - it was v private even though there were tons of people
Marianne was at the very front of the line and asked what she could do to help. I was like uhhh (because I'm eloquent like that) and she asked if we had anything for them to sign. My bf had golf balls lmao and gave them to her. I said I wanted to take a Polaroid for them to sign. She had me turn the camera on because apparently they’d had issues with Polaroid cameras in the past
I thanked her for the way everything was being run and joked a bit while we waited
When it was our turn, the people in front of us were completely gone (I repeat: v private). Marianne gestured and verbally told us to go on in
Meeting Dan and Phil
Phil was wearing his red jacket and good vibes t-shirt just like the beginning of "week in the life" He welcomed us with open arms and I went in for the Phil Hug. Wow. Phil is an excellent hugger and his arms felt a lot stronger than I imagined. And, yes, he waited for me to let go first
As soon as I let go of Phil, I stepped to the side and and looked at Dan. He was wearing his II denim jacket over a white t-shirt. He also had his arms wide for a hug. And lemme tell you, that boi has a fuckin wingspan. Dan gave a more gentle hug than Phil and we let go at like the same time
I am not a hugger and wasnt even 100% sure before I went in that I would hug them tbh
After the hugs, I stepped back and took them both in that's what she said. My initial impression was confidence and class. Literally, the most confident people I've ever encountered irl
Everyone says they're tall, but they are, as my bf said, taller than advertised. He's 6'2 and still looked up to both of them. I feel like they're both close to the next inch up honestly
They are wide. Like we've all noticed the Phil is wide, but Dan is too! They are literal giants
The cameras do NOT do them justice. Phil looks his age irl and I mean that in the sexiest way possible. He does actually have pores and tiny wrinkles (gasp), but I think they only make him more attractive. He oozes understated masculinity. But he also has serious nerd energy and idgaf attitude. Basically, he seems kind of badass
Dan looked flawless. Like I know every so often people wonder about if he wears makeup and all imma say is either he does OR he has the best damn skin care routine and/or genetics ever. He looks like someone after they use a filter
I'd say dan is suave and phil has swagger
(I'm about to sound real fucking weird) They both had such strong auras or energy or whatever you want to call it. It was palpable and BIG - like it extended off of them a couple feet. Dan's felt more static-y, while phil's felt more like balloon about to burst. It merged together between them to where I couldn't tell where one stopped and the other started
Marianne handed Phil the golf balls and he and Dan just stared at them in his hand in confusion for a second then Phil said "golf balls?" before my bf explained it was because they were the caddy lads. They chuckled and Dan said it was "the only series that has any value"
I am now the proud (?) owner of photos and video of phil holding two balls in his hand and I feel really weird about it
Dan asked if I had anything for them to sign, so I told him I wanted to take a Polaroid to which Dan replied, "D'ya want me to attempt the rare Polaroid selfie?"
Then I actually gently teased Dan (!?!?) because I'm a little shit lol I said, "I successfully did one this morning, so I hope you can"
They both seemed mildly amused and he did the thing where he touched his chest lightly in mock offense and said, "Well, let's see"
Tbh I think this was why I got genuine smiles in my pic
Dan said, "Beautiful" and Phil said "Amazing" lol (it really was tho)
Dan described the signature he'd be doing as "the tiniest little dan" and he used the highest voice ever
Phil's signature was so bad im pretty sure dan laughed at it lmao
Dan offered another selfie with my phone (i love him)
I shook their hands before I left and they seemed surprised, but appreciative. They both had excellent handshakes: firm, but not too hard. They both had soft, warm hands with Phil's being about average and Dan's being warmer than average
Overall, they were incredibly kind and professional. The vibe to be was sort of like talking to a boss who isn't your direct boss at a work party: fun, but still guarded
The saying goes "Never meet your heroes," but whoever said that obviously never met dan and phil. This was one of my happiest memories of all time
1500+ word description of the meeting including a sommelier worthy account of how the boys smell
And here’s the (real shit) video of my m&g
The Pre-Show
After meeting the bois, we were immediately given our goodie bags (one of them was double stuffed, lucky me)
Staff asked if we’d be staying in the theatre or not. Upon telling them we’d be leaving, they let us know we’d need to scan out so we could re-enter later
We bought merch (tie-dye/marbled look tee, long sleeved tee, and denim jacket). The line was basically non-existant, so if you have VIP 100% get your merch at this time
We scanned out and were told we could re-enter at 6 along with general admittance ticket holders
We had dinner then got back around 6:10. There was no line this time and we went through security and ticket scanning again
There were so many people everywhere and everyone was so cute! Why are we such a good looking fandom??? The line for merch was EXTREMELY long. RIP those folks
So was the line for the restrooms (and multiple men’s rooms were turned into ladydoors women’s restrooms)
We got 2 drinks (both for me) then went to our seats. We were front and center - I could literally touch the stage with my shoe from my seat. At this time I met @phandommom and @crunchytoasted1
The pre-show music was loud af where I was seated (I actually put in ear plugs lol). Lots of people were dancing and I got to witness crunchytoast dance to “Ladydoor” live which was a treat. At one point various people were running across the theatre with various LGBT+ flags to plenty of cheers. ‘Twas glorious. People did the whole waving the phone flashlights thing and sang along during “Welcome to the Black Parade”
My bf got me 2 more drinks
Showtime!
THIS IS WHERE THE SPOILERS START!!!
It was so, so weird to see them onstage after having the m&g. I legit wanted to climb onstage and like be close again, but, ya know, I didn’t cuz I know what’s socially acceptable
We were called Susan. Classic
Phil was wearing waffle socks. As in socks with tiny waffles all over them
We sacrificed Phil to Satan and Dan died in a furry nightclub
None of mine or my bf’s answers got chosen and I’m a bit salty lol
We sacrificed Dan (the only correct choice fite me)
At intermission the line for the bathrooms was sooooo long omg. I got myself 2 more drinks at this point and called @h-owllslide to gush about the show. I spilled one of my drinks on my bf a little when I sat back down.
Danny was 3 centimeters away from loosing his dick and he got paint on his shoe. He seemed legit irked lol
Nick Jonas was in Dan’s box, but I don’t recall the other two cuz that was the only one that mattered imo
I got a piece of the sign and when they threw it into the audience it was a bit disturbing how everyone tore into it like a swarm of pirahnas
They wore Cubs baseball shirts over their usual shirts during the rap/song finale which was absolutely precious. I LOVED the finale so fucking much - it was magnificent
END SPOILERS!!!
Closing Thoughts
I wish I hadn’t drank so much (6 wines for those of you keeping track at home). I was getting real embarrassing by the end (as in screaming excitedly too much/ too often) and I don’t remember it as clearly as I wish I did. I was just freaking tf out and my anti-anxiety meds weren’t cutting it
I was struggling incredibly hard not to disassociate the entire time
I wish I could go to another show. It was so fun!
The following day, I had a major mood drop. If you’re prone to this, maybe have a plan to hang with someone and do something nice, but lowkey the next day
This was literally the most fun thing I’ve done in at least two years and was one of my happiest memories ever. We’re talking patronus conjuring levels of happy
If you can go, go. If you can’t, don’t feel too bad. It was EXTREMELY intense and not for everyone (especially m&g). Plus they are putting it up later, which I’m looking forward to because I think I’ll be able to better absorb it
Please feel free to ask me anything about the show! I’d love to go on about it lol
#omg this is so much longer than i anticipated#i mean i aint apologizing lmao#i will be legitimately surprised if anyone reads this in its entirety#it's mainly to help me remember because i have some memory issues#Dan and Phil#dan howell#daniel howell#phil lester#amazingphil#DNP#interactive introverts spoilers#interactive introverts#ii spoilers#ii m&g#text post#punchmedanny#tw: alcohol

ONE OK ROCK NYC 2 DAYS EXPERIENCE
Here’s me avoiding all responsibilities and totally ignoring that it’s almost been 2 months :D
As (many?) of you may know I went to both NYC shows, general admission for the first day and VIP for the second day!! I was going to do a write up in the following days after but I was still pretty overwhelmed then and have pushed it back till now, whoops. Warning, long post ahead as I gotta fit 2 days in somehow HAHA
So keep reading if you wanna know how I kissed Toru’s cheek, ran into them and got selfie + sign with Toru :D
All photos are mine/taken by me.
Since it was middle of summer this time, I could actually wait out in line and not die of freezing like back in January so I arrived at the venue around 9:20. Surprise, there was already a short line (that totally didn’t change much for the next few hours tbh lol) VIP and general admission lines were separated much later in the day like a few hours before opening time so everyone was just chilling till then.
This was a banner someone had made and everyone in the line in the morning had signed! It was gigantic and pretty fucking cool, they gave it to them during M&G.
Around 10-11 their bright orange bus arrived in the front of the venue but none of the members came with it. Around noon Ryota was the first to make his appearance and walked in alone. I went to get lunch and during the time I was gone, Ryota and Michelle walked past the line :)) At some point after that a camera crew came out to record the line, they had us all stand up and they filmed everyone cheering lol Ryota walked in again later with Toru at around 3 and Taka did as well soon after I think (I missed the record button on my phone for Taka, good job me). By then the line for VIP and general admission had been split. I was at the very front of the GA line. I’ll complain talk about the line splitting and staff when I get to day 2. But anyway, camera man followed them inside. Michelle and Jamil walked in a bit after them with giant bags of food I think, Michelle is so beautiful :’)
So yeah, then we got in and I got a spot in what I guess was like the third row between Taka and Toru. Palisades was the first opener, I didn’t listen to any of their stuff beforehand bc I wanted to experience them live first and let me just say, I totally fell in love with them. They played songs off their self titled album that was released earlier this year along with an Unsteady by X Ambassadors cover (which was amazing and I really want a studio version). Fun fact, Brandon (the second vocalist and bass player) held onto my friend’s hand for a moment during that :’) The lighting for their set was really dark so barely any nice pics :((
Here’s Lou, the lead vocalist! Super nice and chill guy btw
After Palisades was Set It Off...not much to say about them from me tbh I don’t really like them but their song Hypnotized is fun and catchy. Cody (I think that’s the singer’s name?) went into the crowd and disappeared at the end, I got to touch his hand from all the shoving.
AND THEN, what everyone had been waiting for, ONE OK ROCK! I won’t say much about the songs as I really don’t have as much to say as the January show bc this isn’t the first time hearing them live. I remember pointing out that Taka did seem to struggle a bit with I was King but he was on point for that this time. I had hoped that they’d have Listen and owt on the setlist but sadly they didn’t.
Toru was on fire. His arms are so nice.
So beautiful.
After Chester’s passing, I had already imagined oor doing some sort of tribute for him and they met my expectations that day with the One More Light cover. It was a moment that can’t be described easily, the first performance they did of it. There was sense that everyone was either holding their breath or singing along softly, paying full attention to Taka’s raw voice.
One More Light replaced Hard to Love and led into Take What You Want, which had (around) a minute of silence. Toru looked quite emotional at the beginning, I remember the people around me asking if he was crying (which he wasn’t). I wish I could say it was totally quiet but it wasn’t someone yelled the next few lines of the song like 3 times even though everyone was shushing him ://
The Osaka bros rocked it out together for a moment during a song that I totally forgot, oops. (hello pics from my phone and someone else’s hand right in front of me LOL) Again, was not on Ryota’s side of the stage and didn’t see him much being how short I am :’)) same with Tomo, but he was rocking it back there.
For the encore, Taka actually came down to Toru’s side to crowd surf, and I ended up touching his arm/shoulder LOL so. much. pushing. Everyone wanted a piece of Taka haha
No picture at the end this time but when they were waving goodbye and stuff, Tomo was the last one to leave the stage and he knocked into Toru’s mic stand, knocking off all the remaining picks...Security gave them out but I was too far away cries
After the show, we met Palisades by their merch! Was still so hyped from the concert and probably a mess but everyone was so nice. Told them we would be seeing them again tomorrow and they were excited. Lou called me sweetie HAHA Brandon is adorable
What is this?, you may ask. Well, it’s Toru’s feet LOL
So long story short, our group was still outside then and everyone else had left already. We were about to walk past the doors of the venue when Ryota and Michelle just came out. I was so shocked, I did some small wave and like quietly squeaked out Ryota I think. His hair was in a ponytail! Not was it only him, Toru, Tomoya and Jeff came out right after them. They told us they were going to get food and we didn’t stop them for pics or signs, just waved and said hi. And that’s how we ran into oor minus Taka, amazing.
DAY 2
Got there at around 10-11 bc I was dead from the day before. Same deal with waiting in line and stuff but none of oor walked by that day. Lou (of Palisades) did walk by the line at like noon or something and then walked back past us again bc he went the wrong way, that was hilarious.
Soo I had VIP second day and when they split the lines, the person let the VIP from the front of the line move to the VIP section (which was like around the corner) BUT they cut us off and then had the VIP from the back of the line go. It was so bullshit, thankfully most of my group had made it into the first cut. The asshole guy also yelled at everyone basically that they need to stop complaining bc “everyone will get the equal time and treatment.” He told this to those, like us, who had been waiting hella early that were now next to people who had just joined the line. They also had two security scanners but the guy only used one on the other side of our group + the other really early group.
(pic from day one, on day two we were on the outer side but the guy only used the right side. smh)
VIP was the same as always, show ID, get laminate. The laminates were a lot nicer this time :)
Went in and lined up for M&G, we were like the second group in the line lol Jeff explained how it would work, did a demo in which he had us pretend he was about a foot shorter to be Taka and had us cheer as he walked in, I think I was more laughing than cheering at that LOL but apparently we were ahead of schedule so they started really soon after that, like oor just randomly walked in right after.
Meet and greet experience, many thanks to my friend for recording my turn for me :’)
Hugged Ryota and said hi, moved onto Taka, hugged him and then we just kinda held each other’s arms and then he held my hand bc I spontaneously decided to thank them for the Chester tribute and that it was beautiful and that I would have seen them the next week in NJ. Yeah.
I did not notice at the time but Toru was intensely staring me down the whole time, amazing.
Then I hugged Toru and Tomo, I did not bump my head against Tomo’s shoulder like last time :)) Tomo is so happy and smiley, he’s so precious.
I went back to the middle for the pic and I said “Toru?” and he looked down (hello I am smol) and I asked if I could give him a kiss on his cheek (This was Anna (@shajichan)’s idea okay) and there was like an awkward second of just us staring at each other before he was like “sure.” He bent his knees so that I could reach him :’)) I was still on the tips of my toes :’))
Ryota was off in his own world the whole time so idk what he was thinking when he saw us tbh LOL and Taka’s hand had actually been around my waist from the moment I went back to the middle :’))) Being that close to Toru was an experience.
ANYWAY, I bought merch while we were waiting after the M&G. The merch for Ambitions is so...lol but I had to get something at least
The signed album from VIP as well. Not included in pic is the wristband bc I forgot I was still wearing it, smart me.
Since we were basically at the front of the VIP, I got a spot on barricade right in front of Toru. Let me just say this spot was magical or something bc I was not pushed once, had room to step back if I wanted to and I was cold. Magical I say.
Show was like the same except 250x better bc I was front row this time. There’s vids of like Toru being rude throughout the whole show on my ig if you want to see what went down.
Maybe it was being so close and being able to see them so much clearer but I was way more emotional during One More Light than on the first day. I’m pretty sure Julen has pics of me trying to cover my face with my phone during it :)) The silence in TWYW was completely silent this time, it was so perfect. Taka was also doing some mic tricks during MLF, like throwing it up and catching it, twirling it..etc really nice to see that again after so long since his wired mic tricks :((
Taka came out with a beer for the encore, surprising everyone I think LOL no crowd surfing this time sadly.
We went to Palisades merch table again afterwards, actually buying stuff this time. I got their album and shirt and gave their merch guy a $10 tip LOL
Album was signed later outside by Lou and Brandon!! We were waiting for them bc they had to clear the venue so we couldn’t take pics or have time to talk to them inside. While waiting outside, we met Palisades photographer/Brandon’s friend, Geremy, who was only doing photography for Palisades but oor was so amazing that he borrowed an AAA pass to shoot them the whole time :D
So sweet.
Ryota and Michelle actually came out and walked right behind me when I was talking to Geremy and my friends... but I caught Toru when he came out! Totally missed Taka even though he was like right next to me as well at some point
My signed phone case :’)
And that’s about it for the two days. Writing these reports are fun lol I am broke but those 2 days were fucking awesome and I hanged out with the best people, really want to do it again soon :D
#one ok rock#oor#it's been over a month#whoops#toru#taka#tomoya#ryota#this was so fun#i miss everyone#take me back#or take my to germany so I can meet Anna#either way#toru killed me multiple times#is anyone gonna read all of this#pls tell me if you do#LOL

DragCon 2017 Tips!!
Ok y'all so DragCon 2017 LA was my FIRST DragCon and here's some things I picked up and that I think could be helpful? Maybe idk, GOODLUCK BARBRA!! • it's okay to go alone!! I DID!! SERIOUSLY. I flew alone, I stayed in a 2 bedroom hotel (don't ask) I took cars alone and there were moments where I was fully alone... but honestly you meet people there you do. When I was waiting for the door to open on the first day, this girl and I struck up a conversation and then her friend joined in and BOOM we spent the WHOLE day going around to booth and keeping each other company we even had another guy (who went alone) join our little "group". Long story short- if you're going alone, don't worry, and don't be afraid to talk to some people and make some friends. • DONT WEAR HEELS. Ahhh!! I wore heels during preview night and it was the biggest mistake of my life. The floors are concrete, it's a big venue, and there's a lot of walking/standing (plus there are stairs). Even in flats your feet will hurt, but imagine 8 hours. 8 HOURS. Of walking in your heels. When even the queens aren't wearing heels. You'll look good but I doubt anyone will be looking at your shoes 80% of the time. •GET VIP- if possible get VIP. I got VIP and it was SO worth it. We got a 2 hour preview night on Friday which was basically all the booths with barley any lines and people still setting up, and a lot of queens were there out of drag (example: Farrah, Sasha, Shea, Aja, Trixie was there in full drag) and then on Saturday and Sunday we got to go into the venue 30 minutes before everyone else so we got to get a head start at the lines which helped A LOT. (I.E. Adore - Valentina- Violet- Alyssa etc) it's worth it. If you can get your hands on one... grab it, if not it's literally not that big of a deal were all doing the same thing. •Don't go to Panels- they were so unorganized and honestly they were a mad house. On the first day people were lining up at the escalator for the UHNNN panel which I thought was the dumbest thing because it was the opening day WHY WOULD YOU WAIT TO GET A SEAT AT A PANEL THATS GOING TO BE ON YOUTUBE TOMORROW. (no judgment just saying don't @ me) also it was 105 degrees up there and it was a very small room. Just go and live it up and the watch or the next day and truly enjoy it and not die from heatstroke or a riot. •Some of the lines are 2+ hours long! Sasha / Violet / HELL ALYSSA EDWARDS' LINE WAS LIKE 3-4 HOURS LONG. Ok but yeah, some of the lines are really long- sometimes they take breaks in between to go to the bathroom or to eat something real quick... BE PATIENT. Seriously. They are sitting, standing, laying, whatever for 8 hours talking to 4,000+ people let them have a second to take a breather or if they are just taking their time with fans LET THEM. You want that special moment too. You never know what it could mean to someone. •SOME WILL CHARGE FOR A "M&G"- Its a "CON" this is how money is made. Did you know those booths are 800 dollars AT LEAST If they don't charge for the small things they don't make a profit. And you have to remember- this is their job- this is how they pay RENT, FOOD, HOW THEY PAY FOR DRAG. Just shut up and pay the 5 bucks and take a bomb ass picture and get all your cool stuff signed. ( not everyone charges but some do) •Bring small bills- $5 $10 are really easy , especially for the m&g charging, use your $20 on merch like t-shirts and stuff like that. TRY NOT TO BRING $100 Because that takes all their change and then screws everyone else over. (Or they might not even take it) •Credit Cards- OK THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT. BEFORE YOU GO TO DRAGCON CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND TELL THEM YOU ARE GOING (ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE TO FLY TO LA) BECAUSE So I flew to LA. And I tried to check into my hotel and the card was declined and I was like um WTF?! And so I found out they thought I stole my dads credit card and ran away (even though I'm a god damn adult) SO after that was settled during DragCon my friend from was trying to buy a wig from Wigs and Grace and his card was declined too and he called and they thought his card was stolen BECAUSE OF ALL THE STRANGE CHARGES. So just let them know what's going on just so no bullshit happens. • WALK WAYS- If there is a walk way... USE IT. They create specific paths for people to walk don't be the jerk that tries to squeeze through a meet and greet line when the walk way is literally 2 steps away. I mean. •TRAVELERS- always bring the bigger bag!! BUT be careful when you buy things. Whatever you buy you have to bring back, and when you bring a big bag, it's going to have to be checked, so carefully pack whatever you buy in case it's breakable or bendable you don't want to ruin something you spent your money on/something you care about before you get a chance to fully experience it. •BAGS- I brought a backpack and that I thought was the best option because I could zip it up and I could distribute the weight evenly instead of carrying one bag on one arm and continuously switching. And then I carried my wallet and a small plastic bag on one wrist. The only thing that sucked is when you have to take all of it off (some of the queens want you too) and then you have to try and put it all back on quickly, like at the grocery store when the person gives you the change and receipt and you try to shove it in your wallet while walking so the person behind doesn't judge you. It's kinda like that. But I say bring a backpack. •Bring Water and a Granola bar- BRING SOMETHING. They dont check bags (which I found very weird) but there was a girl in line for Violet and she had a bottle of wine in a Starbucks cup. If you want to see all the people you want to see you're not going to have to to stop and have a full meal so throw a bottle of water in your bag and a fiber one bar or a sandwich or WHATEVER tickles you and you'll be good. You're going to be waiting in lines anyway. Take a second and don't pass out if you're that kind of person. • SIT DOWN. Literally. If you're waiting in a 2 hour line sit the fuck down. We know your feet and back hurt. If the queen isn't there... SIT DOWN. THERE IS NO REASON TO BE STANDING. If no one else is sitting, sit first I guarantee that people will follow seconds later. You have to take those opportunities. They matter. • SAVE MY SPOT? Again if your stuck in a two hour line and the queen isn't there use that opportunity to meet other queens, do it one at a time though, if your with a group take shifts, if your alone ask the people around you ( try to befriend them first) if not say "will you save my spot real quick" I DOUBT THEY WILL BE LIKE NO *hiss* and go to a queen with a short line when you come back tell the people around you "hey ____ has a really short line right now if you want to go meet them real quick I'll save your spot" BE SMART •GAME PLAN- go in with a game plan. "I'm going to see 1 2 3 this day and X Y Z tomorrow" at least go in with a solid " I HAVE TO MEET THESE PEOPLE" and get those done and then who ever else you meet will just fall in line, and you can always go into someone's line more than once, which is great. was DragCon overwhelming YEAH. but honestly it was one of the realest things you could ever imagine. So much drag- love- art- passion in one place. You can't get anything like it.

This weekend was amazing! Especially since my experience last year wasn’t the best **link 1 and link 2** I’ll talk about everything that happened both days below!
FRIDAY:
So on Friday I was already anxious. Last year was such a cluster fuck so I had gotten VIP tickets, but I still had this feeling that something wasn’t going to go well. I felt better after inviting @creativelunatic to dinner at my hotel since she helped me clear my mind by going through the plan for the next weekend. Unlike last year, I had friends going this time! After she left that worry began creeping back and It lead to an anxiety attack. The concern of the unknown scared me so much that all I could do was sit there and try to tell myself that things will work out fine. I hoped that that evening wasn’t a sign of how I would be the rest of the weekend. SATURDAY:
That morning my stomach was churning like there was no tomorrow. I felt like I was going to throw up so i didn’t eat anything for breakfast. We quickly got ready and took the tram to the convention centre. Once we got there I saw a huge line. Straight away I was looking around anxiously if there was a separate line for vips like last year. Luckily a lovely guardian came up to me and said I could walk right past the crowds and into the con. I got to the front of the line in about 10 minutes with the help of so many nice guardians! There I met Jasmine. Jasmine is someone I've known for well over a year now but it was our first time meeting. Talking to her automatically calmed my nerves because that was when it sunk in that I wasn’t alone this weekend! I had @creativelunatic, Jasmine, and so many other friends (who sadly only use facebook) Last year I just had my mum and one other friend who ran off to do their own thing the entire time. I strongly believe that if my friends weren’t there I would have had a much harder time.
From there I quickly ran to the store with Jasmine to get merch before there was a line up. I got an rtx shirt, a nug club shirt, and some cow chop socks. We were in and out in ten minutes. After that I headed to the slow mo guys panel and got front row! Already I was happy that I spent so much money on a vip ticket. As you guys might recall one of the biggest lows of last year was not seeing Gavin, and now I was so close to him! It felt surreal!
I then walked around for an hour or so and of course spent a bunch of saved up money on anime merch. I had lunch and met up with another friend, Stix. Yet another friend I’ve never met! He was so nice and wanted to help me with a little project I was doing for @h-golightly. @h-golightly has just come out of brain surgery and I have something i’ll be sending off to her soon~ I’ll post about it once she receives it!
It was almost the end of the con day and I made my way to the ballroom where I sat with Jasmine, Jaden, and Ben for Off Topic and the RWBY season finale! During off topic Jack had this blue three pointed boomerang that he was trying to throw and catch successfully. This was a recurring thing with the same boomerang all weekend. Rwby was so intense, even more so with the reactions of the rest of the audience. It hit me hard, the fact that I was part of such a huge and loving community, that during Ruby’s letter I teared up. I felt that I had been worrying all for nothing. I was.
SATURDAY EVENING:
The VIP party was about to start and I wasn’t even ready! I had to rush when getting ready, but luckily when we got to the venue the party was only just starting to pick up. I don’t go out often so the bass and the vibe of the experience was all basically brand new even if it did remind me of a mosh pit. @creativelunatic was nice enough to order me a glass of rum and coke and so we sat in the corner sipping our drinks. I was worried the whole night i’d just be sitting there wishing I had the nerve to get up and talk to people. In a sort of “yolo” moment I walked up to Jack and the next thing I knew I was thanking him for making videos that got me through tough times! I told him how their videos helped me when my anxiety was really bad and I had no way of calming down. Jack was as nice as I expected him to be! He was more than happy to take a photo with me. somehow my hands didn’t shake when I took our selfie! God knows I was shitting myself!!
The next person I saw was Lindsay talking to Jasmine! I had met her back in 2014 so my nerves weren’t as bad! I approached her and she complimented me on my piercings and said I was so nice! It was surreal that one of my idols was complimenting ME, I’ll always remember that. I couldn’t stop smiling.
At this point my feet were killing me! I wore these lovely shoes but i only ever wear flats so it felt like I was walking on hot coals for the entire evening.
I was going to sit back down and rest, satisfied with who I saw, BUT THEN I spot Jeremy about two meters away from me! I thanked him for getting me through tough times and he put his hand on my shoulder since he could tell I was anxious at that moment. He smiled at me and it felt so genuine.
Gus was the next rt employee in my sights! I think I was anxious about him the most. I know his whole antisocial “hate everyone” sort of attitude is a whole joke but for some reason I felt worried that he wouldn’t understand how some silly videos could help me with my anxiety. I said thank you anyway and he said “oh it’s okay, I can relate”. Those few words were so comforting.
After trekking up the stairs one step per 10 seconds, I noticed Ryan. Of course he was surrounded by a bunch of chicks, I didn’t expect much else! Whilst waiting, a guy complimented me on my handbag and a girl complimented me on my dress We had a little talk before we parted ways
Ryan was really nice! He was confused as to how they helped me but said he was glad anyway!
Last but not least was Barb! We talked a bit and I took a photo, but the photo came out dark so she insisted that someone take the photo for us with the flash! She could tell I was anxious and was really supportive. Overall the night was a huge success! I got to meet so many people I look up to! I left feeling so full of joy and excitement! Thank you so much to @creativelunatic who stuck by me the entire time! You helped me gather the confidence, thank you <3 <3
SUNDAY:
In the morning I didn’t feel anxious but my stomach felt even worse. All the excitement from the past day had caught up to me and I ended up puking. Not a great way to start the morning but I wasn’t going to let that get me down! Once we got through bag check I had my two signings! The first was with Jeremy and Jack. They signed my minecraft sword and we talked a little before we took a photo. It was pleasant. I wasn’t feeling as anxious because I had met them the night before.
Dan, Barb, and GAVIN were next! Gavin has and always will be my favourite ah member. I’ve always looked up to him, even striving to be like him to an extent. Last year was almost ruined because I hadn’t seen him so the anticipation had built up even more. I was shaking so much, emotions were boiling up to the surface and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to keep my cool in front of them. As I approached them I was greeted with smiles as Barbra complimented my shirt (The owl shirt from her clothing line) and almost instantly half of my anxiety washed away! I told them about @h-golightly and we made love hearts with our hands for her! This whole experience has sort of helped me with my anxiety in the way that I always thought of RT as these untouchable people. But as it turned out, they’re human too! If i’m worried about approaching someone I just have to remember that they’re people too!
I had lunch in the vip lounge with @creativelunatic before heading to the main stage where we watched AH vs FH untill it was time for the AH panel. The AH panel was definitely a highlight! Once again Jack tried throwing that damn boomerang! We went to the main stage after that and instantly got front row seats (luckily! It was almost full!) We watched the podcast and I sat with Jasmine during the Nintendo switch lets play with Michael and Gavin. It was hilarious!
We were about to head off until some familiar faces came on stage! Gus and Jack. Whilst they talked about highlights of the weekend and saying thank you to all of us, Jack was still trying to throw the boomerang. He said he had done it before and Dan had seen him do it! On his second try it landed under me so I picked it up and quickly handed it to him. He tried again whilst they were walking off the stage and it landed in front of me again! I went to give it to him but he said I could keep it! This was the cherry on top! Me, out of all these people got the boomerang that jack had been carrying around all weekend! It was a crazy thought!
Sorry guys, I know this is extremely long but I just wanted to record what had happened this weekend. I know i’ll remember this experience for the rest of my life. This is the sword I had signed! One side has my friends signatures and the other has RT employee signatures!
