The true tragedy: Vlad wants Danny as a son, and Danny wants Vlad as a lover. Who is gonna win this wanting-fight? (It is funnier if we are taking the lonely broken baby potentially bottom)

Is it ok if I answer this with a snippet of writing I did a while back? I’m always anxious about sharing writing so bear with me lol but it feels appropriate.

(In which Danny realizes he could seduce Vlad to get his focus off of Jack and Maddie. Vlad's world is subsequently turned upside down.)

“You know, something occurred to me,” Danny says deliberately, as he steps closer.

Vlad reflexively goes on the defensive, fists clenched and extended. But Danny reaches forward and gently cradles Vlad's fists in his own hands, easing them downward. 

Vlad's face and posture go slack in confusion. “What are you–?”

“It's funny, isn't it? I mean, not to toot my own horn, but you've gone to great lengths to… have me.” Danny tries to emphasize the words suggestively. “Even more so than what you had planned for my parents. Which is why I think I– we should try something different.”

Danny can't stop the giggle bubbling up at the blank look on Vlad's face when he ghosts his fingertips along Vlad's jawline. It soothes his own nerves about the plunge he's about to take.

His undead pulse pounds in his ears, terrified of either outcome. Vlad will either be so repulsed that he's going to blow Danny to bits, or… well. 

He won't. And then Danny will have to continue on.

“Daniel…” Vlad's voice croaks. His eyes are wide open, comically round, so much that you can see the varying shades of red in the pupils, irises, and sclerae. Danny gets a little lost in studying them (he's never had the opportunity to just look) before he steels himself for the outcome of what he is about to do.

His hands settle firmly on either side of Vlad's face. He takes a deep breath through his nose, and leans in.

The moment their lips touch, Danny can feel Vlad's entire being tense up, completely rigid in shock. Then, after a beat, he melts into it, and he whimpers.

Danny is stricken by the sound– never has he heard Vlad sound like that. He kisses him even more deeply, teasing Vlad's mouth open, seeking access. 

The moment Danny’s tongue breaches, Vlad's hands are on Danny's shoulders, pushing away violently, causing Vlad to stumble backwards ungracefully onto his ass. He covers his mouth with a hand, looking like he's going to be sick. 

This is it, Danny thinks dazedly, he's going to end me for this. 

(Worth it.)

“Vlad, wait–”

But before Danny can begin to apologize, Vlad gives him one last devastated look, pink translucent tears spilling from his eyes before he flourishes his cape and disappears into thin air.

Danny is left alone.

Video game I saw in a dream. It was in this low poly style like an older video game. You play as this character I think was meant to be a lamb, or maybe a weird mix of a lamb a mouse and a rabbit, (while not really looking like any of those things) and you’re running away from a wolf. Your objective is to last as long as possible before the wolf catches and eats you.

The house you’re running in is endless and bizarrely put together like most building interiors in dreams are (like the infinite toilet dream dimension on Reddit lol) the layout of the house is pretty detailed, you can stop and hide in places like closets or bins while the wolf looks for you, you can go up and down stairs and into rooms etc.

You never actually know where the wolf is or how close it is to you until it appears in your line of sight, it makes no noise and the game gives you no way of knowing where it is, and it’s pretty unpredictable it doesnt move at a consistent pace. When the wolf catches you there’s an animation showing it eating your character

So done with all the defeatism nonsense. Life keeps going. My girlfriend has her first job interview later this morning. I’ve got to fold my laundry. Why?

Page 5 of the 920 page Project 2025 manifesto says of pornography:

It has no claim to First Amendment protection. ... Pornography should be outlawed. The people who produce and distribute it should be imprisoned. Educators and public librarians who purvey it should be classed as registered sex offenders. And telecommunications and technology firms that facilitate its spread should be shuttered.

Now whether or not you approve of the porn industry, it's clear that Project 2025 is talking about a much broader thing: whatever these right-wing zealots determine to be "pornographic." Note how teachers and librarians are mentioned specifically. Some bookbanners have called children's books pornographic simply for featuring a lgbtq character.

Closer to tumblr's heart, smutty fanfic and fanfic sites would certainly be swept up if Project 2025 ever came to pass.

So kudos to the adult film stars for stepping up and spreading the word.
