It’s been a while since Producer/Recording Artist Leftside has stirred up the music scene, and it’s also been a while since his alter ego “Doctor Evil” caused some mischief. While the villainous side will soon emerge, the party side is ready to mingle and have some fun. Leftside stepped out recently with the new single, “Wee“. In a performance video directed by Icey Jace Films, Leftside is all…

What is your opinion on Mexican rep in video games, like guacamelee, burito bison, or the "fiesta de los muertos" world from rayman legends?
I'm unfamiliar with everything you mentioned except for the Rayman levels, but I guess you also mean stuff like the Mario with a sombrero? I can't speak for all mexicans but to me and the people I've met and talked to about this stuff is just fun. I actually find it pretty neat, everytime I see a reference to Mexico I get excited, being it a festivity, the music, outfits, food, even just characters that are canonically mexican in media (depending what they do and how they are written ofc). I'll be honest though, even if Día de Muertos is a very meaningful festivity here, I wish more people used different Mexico stuff and not always that lol but I still enjoy seeing it a lot
Never expected to receive a question like this, it's pretty cool tbh, might check a bit about those other games

Datos Curiosos 2

RMPG Shirtless Crew
I've got the numbers for - I guess 😂 - the official Rampage Shirtless Crew membership. Yes, this is what I spent my Sunday doing 😂
Of the music videos analyzed, everyone has 33 MV appearances - the vocalists don't appear in Performer's DNA, but the performers don't appear in KIMIOMOU, so it balances out.
I feel like there should be pictures in here, but it's genuinely just solid text, sorry 😅 And I have work tomorrow, so I'm going to bed soon.
Here is the criteria:
Member is visibly shirtless - either with nothing on top or it is obvious that they are not wearing a shirt under a closed jacket or vest (exception: unless everyone is not wearing a shirt under a closed jacket or vest (e.g. Summer Riot). If the standard uniform is sans shirt, only people who deliberately open the vest or jacket are counted, such as Kaisei, Shogo, Zin, etc. in Summer Riot)
Or if member is wearing a shirt, it is open enough to see a significant portion of the chest. I had it at 50% or more of the chest visible as the criteria, so Heatwave counts for both Riku and Itsuki
Or member specifically lifts their shirt to reveal their chest, such as Riku in Fandango or Itsuki in 100degrees
Only MVs that have been released with physical albums or singles were counted, which means MVs that are, as far as I can tell, only available online were not counted. (so ジマリノウタ was not counted, as it's only available as a documentary video online, for example) (However, that is still a good watch of a MV because it shows them being adorable and tiny)
Here is the spreadsheet if you would like to see it. You can also see which 33 MVs were analyzed.
First things first, shout out to the Never Shirtless Crew: Kenta, YamaSho, Ryu and Takahide. They have met the criteria for shirtlessness in 0 MVs. Takahide's so determined to keep his shirt on, he jumped into the pool fully fucking clothed in Welcome 2 Paradise.
Hokuto and Rui both almost made the Never Shirtless Crew - Hokuto's streak was broken by Living in the Dream and Rui's streak was broken by Silver Rain. They have both been shirtless once in the 33 MVs analyzed.
Shogo, Shohei and Makoto each had 2. Shogo's shirtless showings were the two most recent MVs, Summer Riot and Everest. Shohei was shirtless in Summer Riot and he also removed his shirt to go in the pool in Welcome 2 Paradise. Makoto was shirtless for .002 seconds in Mix It Up and he was also shirtless in Fears for the shots with the wing body paint.
Takuma and Kazuma are both at 3. Takuma's shirtless showings are Summer Riot, Silver Rain and Hard Hit, while Kazuma's shirtless showings are Round Up, Living in the Dream and La Fiesta.
And then we get to the Shirtless Crew 😂 I am counting the Shirtless Crew as members who met the criteria 20% or more of the time.
Tied for fourth place in the Shirtless Olympics, we have Riku and Itsuki, each with 8 MVs meeting the criteria, giving them both a solid 24% shirtlessness.
In third place, we have Zin! He was tied with Riku until I started going through the Battle of Tokyo MVs, where Zin is shirtless in 5 out of 5 MVs. 😂 Well done, buddy. Zin has 12 MVs meeting the criteria, for being shirtless 36% of the time (unless it's Battle of Tokyo and then it's 100% of the time 😂)
In second place, we have Likiya! 13 MVs met the criteria for him and he was shirtless 39% of the time.
And in first place, we have the member who has actually, literally won a "beauty and body" contest to find the best looking man in Japan for summer - Kaisei! 14 MVs met the criteria for him, having him be shirtless 42% of the time.
So, the "official"(?) members of the Shirtless Crew are Kaisei, Likiya, Zin, Riku and Itsuki. (So the oldest three, the last 97 and the first 98 😂 Apparently it's an age cluster thing)
@elenilote Your predictions were correct! It's just Kaisei's shirtlessness was more predominant earlier in their career and Riku's shirtlessness is more predominant recently, so I found Riku's shirtlessness moments earlier

Daily Check-in September 7th, 2023 🎀
Today was...not the most productive day for me if I'm being honest. When I'm using my Ipad to video call my boyfriend, I can't take notes like I want to, so I end up feeling like I'm behind on my homework. I'm genuinely thinking about buying a second Ipad to keep my personal life and academic life separate. I have a 2nd Ipad, but it's with my boyfriend, 1000+ miles away. My university sells one online for 300$ USD so I might buy it when I get paid next week.
🩷 What I Ate Today -
Breakfast - leftover burritos with taco bell Diablo sauce
Lunch - spicy ramen with shredded fiesta blend cheese
Dinner - McDonald's
Snacks - one mint choco chip yasso bar, two cups of coffee with creamer
Not my healthiest eating day but I have been incredibly stressed so I turned to easy, greasy comfort food though all its done is upset my stomach. Tomorrow will be better.
🩷 Personal Habits/Goals I Achieved -
nightly skincare routine
studied Japanese for 10ish minutes
took out my bedroom trash
made a workout plan for the week
made a goal setting plan for working out
got in touch with one of my two assigned registered dietitian mentors
got my three week grown acrylics soaked off professionally
I'm hoping to implement the workout routine tomorrow, but I want to take it slow ish because I'm still recovering from a back injury and whiplash from last week so fingers crossed I don't irritate the injury! Also, I'm super excited to be a dietitian mentee. The one dietitian I'm in contact with currently is absolutely the sweetest!
🩷 Academic Achievements -
finished my Fitness For Health and Sport module 3 notes
posted my discussion post and one classmate response for the same course
completed and passed the module quiz for the same class
completed and passed my Food Fundamentals Chapter 5 Quiz
planned for the next few upcoming days
My job has me scheduled for ~35 hours Friday thru Monday, so I am going to be so tired this weekend, but I need the money because I have rent to pay, I want to buy a Genki 1 & 2 Textbook and Workbook + Answer key & hiragana/sentence chart (and some other resources), I want some more stationary, and I need to buy more groceries soon. I am also planning to buy another Ipad, and add some language app subscriptions to my arsenal of language resources for my lazy days.
🩷 Song of the Day - TT Japanese vr by Twice
I love that there are so many Japanese versions of kpop songs that I absolutely love, so this way I can passively listen to the language while enjoying music! There's also a ton of J-pop songs I'm currently in love with. Some of my favorite j-pop artists are liSa, Kenshi Yonezu, YOASOBI, Fuji Kaze, Suda Masaki, Ado, etc.
I did not workout today, I did not do morning skincare, and I did not make my bed. I am planning on getting back on track tomorrow. I appreciate this platform and my followers who help me want to stay on track. I appreciate all 300+ of you <3
Til next time, lovelies 🩷

Sharing personal narratives during Filipino American History Month is a powerful way to honor and celebrate Filipino heritage while also fostering a deeper connection to one’s roots and identity. Here are some meaningful approaches to sharing your Filipino American heritage:
Tumblr media
1. Family Stories and Traditions
Highlight Generational Journeys: Share the stories of your ancestors or parents who immigrated to the U.S. What motivated them to leave the Philippines, and what challenges did they face in adapting to a new culture? Exploring these journeys allows others to appreciate the resilience of Filipino immigrants.
Cultural Traditions: Discuss the customs and traditions that have been passed down through your family, such as celebrations of Pasko (Christmas), fiestas, or rituals like Simbang Gabi. Share how your family balances Filipino traditions with life in America.
2. Struggles and Achievements as a Filipino American
Navigating Dual Identities: Many Filipino Americans grow up balancing two cultures—American and Filipino. Sharing how you’ve navigated this identity can resonate with others who may have similar experiences of being bicultural.
Facing Discrimination and Finding Empowerment: Talk about any challenges you’ve faced, such as racial discrimination or feeling like an outsider. Sharing how you overcame these struggles, found empowerment, or connected with the Filipino American community can be inspiring.
3. The Role of Filipino Values
Values like Bayanihan and Kapwa: Filipino culture is deeply rooted in values like bayanihan (community spirit) and kapwa (shared humanity). Share stories of how these values were instilled in you and how they have influenced your life in America. Have you seen these values in action in your own community?
Respect for Elders: The concept of utang na loob (debt of gratitude) and pakikisama (getting along with others) are strong values in Filipino culture. Reflecting on how these values have shaped your relationships with family and friends can open up meaningful dialogue.
4. Food as a Cultural Bridge
Exploring Filipino Cuisine: Food is one of the most accessible ways to share heritage. Talk about the dishes your family loves to cook or the meals you grew up with, such as adobo, lumpia, sinigang, or lechon. Hosting a gathering or sharing recipes can be a fun and engaging way to introduce others to Filipino culture.
Food and Storytelling: Food often serves as a bridge to deeper conversations. Share a story about a particular dish, its significance, and how it connects you to your heritage.
5. Contribution to American Society
Highlight Filipino American Achievements: Whether it’s sharing the stories of Filipino labor leaders like Larry Itliong or the contributions of Filipino World War II veterans, remind others of the long history of Filipino Americans in shaping the country.
Your Own Impact: Discuss your personal achievements and how your Filipino heritage has influenced your work or contributions to society. Whether you are involved in education, healthcare, technology, or any field, your story adds to the rich tapestry of Filipino American history.
6. The Power of Art and Music
Creative Expression: If you are an artist, musician, or writer, use your platform to express your heritage. Through dance (such as Tinikling or Binasuan), music, poetry, or visual art, you can share aspects of Filipino culture while connecting with diverse audiences.
Filipino American Artists: Reflect on the work of Filipino American creatives who have inspired you, from authors like Carlos Bulosan to contemporary filmmakers and musicians.
7. Engaging in Social Media and Public Talks
Social Media Campaigns: Use social media to share your narrative with a broader audience. Creating posts, videos, or blogs during Filipino American History Month can help educate others on the rich diversity of the Filipino American experience.
Speaking at Community Events: Volunteer to speak at schools, universities, or community centers. Sharing your story publicly can inspire others to reflect on their own heritage and embrace their cultural identity.
8. Connecting with Filipino American Communities
Attending Cultural Events: Participate in or organize events within your local Filipino American community. Storytelling circles, cultural festivals, or panel discussions are great ways to share your personal narrative and learn from others.
Mentorship and Youth Involvement: Sharing your story with younger generations can be impactful. Encourage young Filipino Americans to be proud of their heritage and pass on the importance of understanding their roots.
By sharing your personal narratives, you are contributing to the broader Filipino American story and helping preserve the legacy of a resilient and dynamic community. It’s also a way to celebrate identity, create solidarity, and ensure that the unique experiences of Filipino Americans are not forgotten.
