I was poking around in my files a couple days ago and i found this in my wips! this is the old rough wip for my piece in the cancelled FF7 fantasy zine. it has Very ~oh nooo you caught me~ vibes. The vine version wouldve been sfw, but with their ok, I mightve done a more adult version too. it goes with all the other wips now, and maybe someday i'll finish it - or re-do it entirely! my art has changed somewhat since then and I'd like to try different things. If the ff7 fantasy zine ever comes back and I get in again, I'd make an entirely new piece for them anyway. I had debated, when I first made this, whether or not I'd have someone there with him, like a very smug Aerith, maybe. in the end I figured that for a single page in a zine, that i'd keep things simple instead, but if i finished it, maybe I'd go that direction after all. it was a very playful and fun idea and I really like Seph's arched back here, so I do wanna revisit it eventually. and of course, a cameo appearance from The mini Snood!

I…I was so disappointed about the delay (again) on the new chapter of The First Soldier that I made a large compilation of Crisis Core vines on a whim to cope.

The SOLDIER seems determined not to look at the reactor, and distractedly, he adjusts his well-worn sword on his back instead. The move is not threatening, only nervous. “You should get going,” he says instead. The SOLDIER turns back and takes in the flowers in the basket on her elbow for the first time. He draws a short breath. “Don’t see many of those around here.” The words echo in Aerith’s ears. She knows him, she knows him—from where does she know him?
