Hello my lovely yes most certainly still doing these! The more the merrier so for you, 🎄a beautiful Christmas star I treated myself to in the Christmas sales last year

And for you there is no or only and so ❄️ a few lines from a Christmas fic I’ll share from Sweater Number 23 8.7k of Christmas sweater silliness. I’m quite fond of it and spent far too long looking at Christmas jumpers online when writing it 😂

Day eleven brings a jumper that’s say “I’m sexy and I snow it”  into Eddie’s life and day twelve isn’t much better it’s bright green with a Christmas pudding on it and the phrase ‘let the pud times roll’ 

Buck’s wearing sweater thirteenth when Eddie finally blurts out the question he’s been wanting to ask all day 

“Are you busy Saturday?”

The answer is instant and comes with Buck’s full attention on him, his blue eyes look interested and maybe hopeful “Not really. Why?” 

Eddie smiles, sometimes he thinks….but no,  it’s just wishful thinking, isn’t it? 

Buck’s sweater currently says “All I want for Christmas….”  and it’s just making him have thoughts.

He bites down on his lip so he doesn’t look like a love struck fool when he says “I need a favour.” Buck hears that and becomes even more attentive.

“Sure” and of course he’s agreed before he knows any of the details.

Eddie wrinkles his nose as he asks, “Don’t suppose you could help me collect our Christmas tree?”  

He’s not sure if he'll agree, Buck probably has better things to do with his weekends but he can try.

“It’s just I promised Chris a bigger one than last year and I’m not sure if I can manage to get it home on my own.”

He probably could manage if he tried. He just doesn’t particularly feel like trying.

“Yeah of course.” Buck actually looks quite pleased. 

“Thanks man, appreciate it” he smiles and Buck smiles back, ducking his head,  it’s the smile Eddie likes to think is reserved for him.

Pleased with his success Eddie pushes and throws a casual seeming shrug into the mix, “Maybe you could stay afterwards and help us decorate? Chris, Chris would love that.”

Prompt 65

Geralt and Jaskier attend a flower festival at a village. Geralt notices that everyone is giving each other flower bouquets, wreaths, and crowns, so Geralt decides to make a gift for Jaskier. The festival has buttercups, but not dandelions, so he has to pick some himself, add in a few cornflowers because they reminded him of Jaskier's eyes, and bam! It's done! He gifts it to Jaskier, and Jaskier is very touched, thanking Geralt profusely, and giving him a kiss. Jaskier meanwhile, is just absolutely flabbergasted that Geralt gave him courting flowers! It's a dream come true!

Damian has a pet turkey. on thanksgiving he gets a fake one and leaves it out so Alfred will cook it, then realize he's cooking his turkey when its really not.

Bruce panicked running into the kitchen: Alfred!

Alfred turning around eyebrow raised as he put the turkey into the oven: what is it master bruce?

Bruce: that's not out turkey.

Alfred: what-what do you mean?

Bruce: that's Damian's turkey!

Alfred:

Bruce: I just-

Jason walking into the kitchen: hey so I just ran into Damian and he says he cant find gobble (the turkey, its a stupid name)

Bruce:😨

Alfred: 😶‍🌫

Jason: guys..

Alfred: how long do we have to get a new turkey for Damian?

Jason confused: what why-*relizing* you guys fucking cooked him?!

Bruce: on accident!

Dick strolling in: hey family! what's..*looking around* what's wrong?

Jason: they cooked gobble.

Dick: ..we're fucked

Bruce: ok, Jason you go get a new turkey, Dick your gonna distract Damian

Jason: yeah yeah

Damian appearing out of nowhere: Have you guys seen gobble?

Dick: nope! maybes he outside-

Damian: is that gobbles collar...

Alfred: 😨

Bruce: ok, Damian..we may have accidentally cooked gobble..

Damian:

Damian: laughing, oh that's not gobble

Dick: what, what do you mean?

Damian: that's a fake gobble, I wanted to prank you guys

Alfred :..that's good

Dick: we already sent out Jason to get you a new turkey?

Damian: oh. now I have two turkeys!

A seasonal offering for you: a scene from my old fic Only Lovers See The Fall, in which Caleb and Essek contemplate endings and beginnings at a Harvest Close festival in Zadash. The right kind of autumn red looks just like the Vermaloc of Rosohna and the home Essek has left behind.

My strength as an artist is in nature subjects and simplified, gestural comics, so it was fun to stretch myself a bit by attempting a full scene with people and buildings. Happy Autumn! 🍁🍂🌻

"Thanks for taking me all this way out here." Is the first thing he says, after all though he'd made the request and she'd taken the time out of her day to do so. It was chilly, and he definitely made the right call wearing as many layers as he could before making the trip, but the sight of the icy palace makes it worth it in his opinion either way.

Although as much as he'd been interested, it's with hesitance that he faces the ballroom floor in the building. What would it sound like if he took a step forward, and what color would light those tiles? What if he made a fool of himself, even if he just walked across it? Maybe he doesn't want to know what would happen after all, excitement melting away into anxiety for now.

So maybe he's content just to watch as others that arrived before he had move across the floor, happy even just to have a chance to see it in person at least.

"It's amazing, what they can do in this city... I'm certain there must be a wealth of magical energy here. Was there, um... anything you wanted to do while we're here?" He asks in a tone that's maybe a little distracted; but surely if she'd been willing to tag along there must be something of interest? "Ah... I'm too nervous to set foot on the dance floor, so I think just seeing it with my own eyes was enough. The ice sculptures are probably nice to look at too?"
