did a little doodle of tommy (our lovechild) with my friends' si/ocs !!! thought this might be a good post to ramble about him because i love him so much he's so dear to me
tommy is three years old and he was born on December 23. A very very gentle kid and a sweetheart by default 💗 He loves to help other people and giggle at random things. Just like any other toddlers...
One thing that Tommy loves is kisses! He takes after his daddy who likes to kiss mommy a whole lot. He's our little lovebug 💗💗 also!! he is fiercely protective of his mommy. If someone tries to flirt with Abby, he'd point at them and yell "Mommy is only for Daddy!"
Despite being only three, tommy is very attentive and caring. he can sense when someone is sad and he quickly will try to cheer them up. he's just a little ray of sunshine!! 💛💛💛
hope you all love him!! expect more of him in the future ☁️☁️

272 - 8 Women (Patreon Selects)
Our Patreon Selects series continues with another dive into French cinema! In 2002, director Francois Ozon delivered an actress bonanza with 8 Women, an homage of Douglas Sirk and Alfred Hitchcock that's also a musical and also murder mystery and also a celebration of the biggest French actresses of the moment. Set at Christmas, its titular ensemble tries to discover who among them has killed the family patriarch. Despite a solid run for France in the aughts with their Oscars submissions, Ozon's treacly affair did not make it to the Oscar ball.
This episode, we talk about Ozon's filmography and France's current difficulties nabbing an International Feature Oscar despite their stature in the race. We also talk about the career of Chris' fave Isabelle Huppert, the film as Harold They're Lesbians core, and our thoughts on The Taste of Things' chances this year.
Topics also include Frances Fisher's new cause celebre, Streep/Short dating rumors, and Madarin Oriental "I'm a fan" commercials.

I haven't seen Season 13 of Bob's Burgers, but I hear it has Jane Lynch in an episode. And that makes me realize something I'd enjoy: more overlap with the cast of Christopher Guest's old mockumentaries. They've already had John Michael Higgins a bunch of times, and now they've had Jane Lynch. If they could get any more of them, that'd be great. From Eugene Levy to Catherine O'Hara to Jennifer Coolidge to Michael McKean, it'd be fun to see them as guests. The only one I'm fine not appearing is Harry Shearer, as he's already got a bunch of parts on The Simpsons. But if he'd agree to guest I'd still be fine with it.
