PDA isn't really Niki's thing, he prefers to keep it private.

Some Undertale gamer headcanons:

Someone said that Toriel would be the world Tetris champion, and I'm not sure why, but I agree with that. And not just Tetris, but bubble-poppers, match 3, marble-shooters, all of those kinds of games. She's the new Candy Crush mascot.

I've also seen people say sans would be into rhythm games, and... no. Why would you think he would be into something that takes that much effort? Seriously, come on. What sans is into is farming sim games. He's written dozens of online strategy guides for Stardew Valley, all of them under different pseudonyms.

Papyrus is into online multiplayers. All of them, any genre- Fortnite, Apex Legends, Fall Guys, Elder Scrolls Online, Runescape, you name it. He sucks at all of them, but none of his online friends is willing to tell him how bad he is because he's so darned innocent and nice. Nobody really wants him on their team because he'll always make them fail the mission, but he's so upbeat and uplifting that no one has the heart to tell him they don't want him.

Undyne loves Souls-like and dungeon crawlers, but she struggles with anything that requires stealth, she just doesn't. do. stealth. She says it's stupid to have to sneak up on enemies, she should just be able to barge in with guns or swords or spears blazing in any and all circumstances. Don't ever even suggest Metal Gear to her. Or Breath of the Wild- she rage-quit after the Yiga Clan Hideout quest (although it did leave her with the impression that bananas give you strength in battle, so she now always keeps a bunch of bananas on hand).

Blooky plays solitaire and Mah Jongg, and even those stress them out.

Maddie plays casino and slots games. On an unrelated note, she's always broke.

Mettaton is the rhythm games master. You will not change my mind on this.

Alphys is HEAVY into JRPG's. The more anime it looks, the more she loves it.

Asgore has no idea what a video game is. Well, ok, he has some idea, his kids both played games, but he never could figure them out. He thinks Sonic and Crash are both Mario characters and that Link is a girl- you get the idea. But he did used to play card and board games with Toriel. Especially chess (she totally owned his ass in every match). Ever since Toriel left, he can't bring himself to play chess. He plays checkers a lot, tho. He usually loses (he plays against himself).

Asriel and Chara were into action/adventure games. Asriel's favorite characters were Yoshi and Link, while Chara's favorites were Samus and Shadow the Hedgehog. What? No, I'm not projecting my favorite games onto the Dreemurr kids. What are you talking about?

Frisk has only ever played the hit indie game Undertale. About 500 times. Always Pacifist, they've never even tried a Geno run. They've been thinking about playing that Deltarune game, too, but they kinda wanna wait until the whole thing is released.

A tea shop and temple

As usual tumblebutt is acting the fool tonight. I just wasted a good half hour writing this post but then the site ate it. This will be attempt #3.

Okay, so this 1st lot was built by @lifeofsims3. I did make a few changes, but she did all the hard work, so THANK YOU!

I plunked it down behind my apartments on Main Street, so my lazy sims don't have far to go to get their coffee and tea fix. Anyway, it is now called the Panda Tea House - hence the panda bench out front. I also added the trees and most of the other clutter - and my favorite cc, @mspoodle1's bike set. I used it throughout my town. In fact, I use it in every world I play. So, a HUGE thank you to her!

And this is the tea set I used and the reason I named the lot what I did. Anyway, instead of the food register that was there, I used Sandy's version of the Uni expresso bar and her menu set from her old art museum set. The tea set was created by carmelize, and I found it here on tumblebutt.

Then I climbed the mountain to the town temple, known as the Seikatsu Temple. The original was created by SimsRepublic and was just an empty shell. Where I now have grass, it was originally cobblestone. But my monks like nature, so they planted grass.

In the 1st building as you enter the main gate, I placed all that karate stuff that came with World Adventures. I also gave them a small meditation room, complete with a statue - and a picture - of Buddha.

Then in the back building, I made it into the place where they hold tournaments.

And in the final building, I made a small classroom where the monks teach students monk stuff. There's also a small clinic in case sims get hurt doing karate. (See! I can be nice to my sims!) And for those of you who are wondering where the monks live, I was tooooo lazy to furnish the upper floors and used that "skip level" marker instead. But that's where they live and do their monk stuff, when they're not walking around town.

And then, back in Uma Alley, I threw together this small newsstand, using @aroundthesims newsstand set. I wanted my sims to be able to buy comic books, since anime is a big thing in the Far East - or so I've been told - but was too lazy to actually build an actual building. So, instead I used that Uni register and now they can get their comic book fix here. Again, the great samkat being nice to her peasants!

Then - to get back on tract, I killed a bunch of soldier sims - complete with period uniforms - to populate my War Memorial lot. I think I made around 6 or 7 and gave them war-type deaths. I even gave them bios! I AM good to my sims!

How the bachelorettes will play the The Sims 3:

Haley:

Will spend 2 hours to create the perfect design for her sim's clothes.

Cheat code for a huge amount of money.

The richest house, the best cars, the biggest TV, etc.

Favorite expansion packs: Late night, Showtime and Island Paradise.

Goes to expensive bars and places to get interesting moodlets. Only the best and expensive thing!

Got "heartbreaker" lifetime's wish the very first in her game.

Of course, she's a popular super star! Admittedly, she constantly has to fight back her good name when her sim is publicly reviled. Oh, that popularity!

Maxed out the photographer's and serfing skill set.

Decided to try to learn a new skills in game. Her sim died in a fire the first time she tried to make macaroni and cheese.

Penny:

Another interesting thing that helps her escape from reality (besides books).

Never uses cheat codes, trying to achieve everything herself.

Favorite expansion packs: Generation and Seasons.

Creates the perfect modest newlywed couple. One of the sims is her exact copy and the other is her dream spouse.

At first was upset that her sim had many failed attempts at cooking (too close to reality). Eventually pumped the skill to the max.

Gave her sim a career in school.

Mini heart attack every time a thief or ghost showed up at her sim's house.

Goes into the build menu just to listen to music.

Created as many children as the game allowed. Happy big family!

Emily:

She spent twice as much time designing her sim's hair and clothes as her sister.

Inspired after the game, went to my sewing machine to recreate the clothes in reality.

Love all the expansion, but her favorite is Ambition. Because a career as a Stylist! Also pets, because parrot!

Her sim knows every skill in the game bit by bit.

She'll be picking up every stray animal.

Stopped doing that when one of the stray cat ate her parrot.

Was upset that unlike cats and dogs, she can't put a grave for a parrot.

Collects various gems and collects them in the Sim's house. Gems everywhere!

Abigail:

She thought it was a boring game, but when she found out you could create a sim as a ghost! Or a vampire! Or a werewolf, or a witch? She could become an adventurer? Awesome!

Favorite expansions are World Adventures and Supernatural.

Uses the occasional $1000 dollar cheat code to buy a ticket to another country.

Sim's personal life? No time for that, she has adventures waiting for her in Egypt!

Pumping skill sports to fight with the mummy.

No money for food? Time to look for breakfast in the trash cans!

Enjoys getting interesting moodlets, no matter positive or negative.

Created the sim as a witch and practiced magic during the adventure.

Making stinky potion? Absolutely yes 😈

Often saved to watch a sim die from a trap in adventures or from other things.

Leah:

She is more interested in the architecture and design of the house than the game itself.

Uses money cheats to buy the necessary items to create the perfect cottage house.

However, she does not use cheats during the game itself. She enjoys creating the perfect house on a small budget.

Favorite expansions are Seasons, University Life, and Career.

The first expansion is for fall aesthetics 🤌 the other two are for pumping up her artist and sculptor skills.

A nemesis with a neighbor who strongly resembles her ex in personality.

Often sits in the city editor (like, almost 90% of her time), redesigning other sims' homes.

Her sim visits countries just to paint beautiful landscape and buy a bottle of "juice".

Also, the gardening skill is half developed.

Her sim was eaten by a carnivorous cow flower. And she didn't even keep the design of the town! Eh, need to start all over again...

Maru:

Doesn't spend a lot of time creating a sim.

Of course they have the Inventor character, how could they not.

Favorite expansions packs are Ambition and Into the Future.

So many ideas in the game for her new inventions... A jetpack? Why not.

Fascinated by the quest to change the future into Utopia or Dystopia.

Science, invention and robot building skills are maxed out.

Used a cheat code for 1000 dollars just once to buy junk for inventions.

Made a sim Sebastian, so that at least in the game in them were good family relationships...

Synthesized food?! Now that's interesting!

Her Sims often died from burns and electrocution.

can't choose one, each of them has something favorite.

if i had pet shows and making magic and cake strippers from sims 1;

uneven relationships, multifaceted characters whose writers didn't shy away from darker and more mature topics, placing lots wherever i want, deeper narrative that comes with detailed interests, personal bios, proper photo album and ancestors that they weren't too lazy to add from sims 2;

open world and cars and boats that come with it, and everything horses, and adventures, especially wine making, and university, and being able to get arrested, and time machine from sims 3;

CAS and build/buy, walking anywhere where a sim can physically fit, and doing a few things at once from sims 4,

that would be the game made in heaven.

YHS as Qhosts - Sam

I got bored one day and decided to just randomly choose a fandom and one of its characters to turn into a Qhost, my species that is just an excuse to self-insert some OCs into different media

So I Wheel Decided some fandoms I love, got Yandere High School, and had the wheel choose between Sam, Taurtis, and Grian. I got Taurtis!

The lore is that, at some point in the YHS timeline, all 3 died and Haemal grabbed them (during their senior years at Tokyo Soul specifically).

Sam (and Grian) died when they jumped into the void, saving the world at the price of their lives. A necessary sacrifice.

Although Sam remembers most things (save for his lapses in memory), he prefers to be called "Rabbit" by everyone except Taurtis and Grian, who still call him Sam.

He's still a little violent, fighting his losing sanity, and always hides his face to do so. For if he takes off his hood, his twisted features would be reveal and Sam couldn't handle it.

- Qhosts do not have regular names. (They have names like 'Omen, Annarchi, Nyx, etc)

- All Qhosts have a "theme" (mostly shows up in their weaponry. E.X, the Qhost in the artwork (Nyx) has a theme about death because she is very relaxed about death and she gets a scythe as a result.)

- Qhosts live in Haemal; an infinite void where they can make anything they desire appear (many Qhosts made 'jobs' to entertain themselves and each other, like parks and coffee shops and roads, etc)

- All Qhosts died and are pulled from their multiverse/universe into Haemal by random (Nyx, herself, was in a bus accident)

- Qhosts have several job types:

Curators - Keeps tracks of all the stories that are fully explored, with nothing left to offer

Librarians - distributing stories to Qhosts as well as keepers of storybooks/story portals

Haels - "Adventurers" who hunt down new story portals in Haemal (These three keep each other in line)

Archeologists - Qhosts that travel into new story portals, typically the "prologue" to make sure its usable and/or safe, give it a genre, etc)

Completionists - The Qhosts who complete each story to full completion

Non-Status - These Qhosts either don't go into stories often, rarely at all, or claim a story to live in as long as they desire, until they return to Haemal

( Less important but still fun lore)

- Qhosts don't actually need to eat or drink or sleep, but it definitely is energizing

- QHOSTS DO NOT HAVE TO BE HUMAN Most of them are humanoid but not all of them are human, especially in a vast set of universes

- A lot of Qhosts have genre favorites and dislikes, which Librarians keep track of(so, yknow, you dont give a dating sim specialist to a horror specialist)

- Protagonists, if there is one, are the only ones who can see the Qhosts. If there are multiple protagonists, one is focused on at a time

Okay the video game poll is over and idk if people went with their actual favorite or just whatever game they had heard of bcs the botw/skyrim option won so for every option that got more than one vote I'll describe what I think that game would be like in order of how many votes it got.

OPEN WORLD STYLE ADVENTURE 36.4%: You play as Irene's reincarnation and wake up outside of Phoenix Drop with no memory of who you are and after the tutorial section of phoenix drop you're basically on you're own to somehow defeat the big bad Shad, however you get a special ending if you beat the game in under two hours and use batshit tactics you can technically customize your character but it's only hairstyles and tattoos. There WOULD be a speedrun based on who could place something weird like a bomb or a pumpkin on the Irene statue in Scaleswind

STORY BASED JRPG 18.2%: I've never played a jrpg I'll be honest but Jess stole a lot of stuff from final fantasy anyway! might as well complete the circle. But one thing I image is that defeating the jury of nine and the high priest is the main goal with Katelyn being the only recrutable one. 22% of the game is just sorting gear bcs the game has lootflation. 50% is just putting your guards in pretty outfits. the rest is side quests.

MINECRAFT MOD PACK 15.2%: Okay we could totally do this ourselves in fact people have tried I'm pretty sure, the hardest part would be making the map and making sure the NPCs functioned normally but you'd basically just play through MCD with all the mods jess used (with more quest markers to keep you on track) I imagine it would only go up to half a season at a time though just to keep track of everything and make it less cluttered.

BASICALLY JUST STARDEW BUT BETTER COMBAT 10.6%: exactly what it says on the tin. It's Stardew but you're the lord instead of the farmer. You can pick which village you choose to rule and you get a different story/marriage candidates depending on each one. The combat comes from battle campaigns technically doesn't have an end since Stardew can go on forever.

VISUAL NOVEL 9.1%: Just the normal story of diaries with maybe a bit of puzzle solving to spice up gameplay, It would be a comic book art style and different chapters would have a new art style for tone purposes+ hiring more artists and would only have like three endings plus a secret forth one for 100% completing it.

HADES-STYLE ROGUE-LIKE 3%: I'm surprised not a lot of people picked this option but IMAGINE IT. You play as Laurance and you've gotten better at resisting the call and so you set out to escape Shad's domain but have to battle limitless foes and keep fighting the call at every step of the way. succumbing to the call makes you start over but you won't give up! The bosses would be other shadow knights, maybe Gene, Sasha and Zenix to replace the furies. Zane and Janus(shush I know he's not one but I needed a second person) could replace Theseus and the Minotaur and Shad would obviously replace the final boss. Vylad could probably replace Thanatos or something too.

DATING SIM BUT CURSED 3%: You are Irene Aphmau and you absolutely MUST pick someone to spend the rest of time with! except it resets if you don't pick right, it resets and resets and resets. but if you do pick right they keep dying, and dying, and dying. and even if you change everything they keep dying and dying andyingandying-

The Sims Medieval was one of the greatest titles of the franchise. I think I'll put it right under Sims 2. Unfortunately, I hopped on the train waaaaay too late. When it came out, I was in one of my "over it" phases in Sims 3. There was very little marketing for it, and I didn't know it was an entirely new game. I thought it was another expansion, and I was like I am NOT interested in making castles, being a pirate, and doing royalty things! I actually didn't get into it until a few years ago when a bunch of folks on Discord started playing it again. Let me tell you... I never laughed and had so much fun playing any Sims game! The Sims Medieval is the epitome of what a Maxis people simulation game was and is supposed to be. I love the cheeky, adult humor. I love that there is risk and consequences. And I love a good adventure. That's why Sims 3 World of Adventure is still my all-time favorite expansion pack. I can't tell you how much time I spent in Al-Simhara and Shang Simla. Sims 4 jungle and Strangerville tried but don't quite cut it.

I think everyone should try Medieval at least once, especially if you never played previous Sims games. See what Maxis games were like before EA came along and commercialized them.

1. What’s your favourite sims death? NONE i want my sims to be well and alive!!!!! well, from a pure comedy pov i find death by exhaustion hilar if it’s the direct result of two elders getting steamy.

2. Alpha CC or Maxis Match? i genuinely like both, but i’ve been leaning pretty maxis match in the recent years!

3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight? nope.

4. Do you use move objects? ya! constantly! 

5. Favorite mod? story prog def, love that i can focus on the household(s) i like without constantly having to manually update other ones i dont like playing with!

6. First expansion/game/stuff pack you got? GLAMOUR LIFE STUFF OUT OF EVERYTHING

7. Do you pronounce “live mode” like aLIVE or LIVing? (a)LIVE on national television

8. Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made? my first ever sim bea! who was way too successful as a romance sim for the way bebe me styled her, to the point where she only had like three simultaneous marriages.

9. Have you made a simself? i sure did at i THINK 11, and i sure used face 1 for it. i even remember the exact raonjena hair i used! 👱🏻‍♀️

10. What sim traits do you give yourself? foodie, creative, vegetarian, child of the ocean, & animal enthusiast 🐶

13. Favorite life stage? while adults come with the widest array of just things you can do with them, i love the transition from child to teen bc ure getting the first good look at their features and a better sense of how ur sim will be acting for the rest of his life.

14. Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay? gameplay definitely.

17. What’s your favorite game? ts2 hands down, each game comes with its own strengths, but ts2, to me, has remained the most fun to play in the long haul due to its pacing & there NEVER being a shortage of ridic events. i do like exploring the other games, tho!

20. How has your “sim style” changed throughout your years of playing? like mentioned above, storyprog has been a huge game changer in being able to drive a hood forward while just focusing on the households that i enjoy, thats really been the number one change.

should I post all my stuff to this blog as well instead of just linking to backloggd?

Hey guys, how's it going? I've recently gotten back into gaming after taking a break to focus on Sims 4 (my main blog @rainmustfallts4 is where I post those stories!) I have been gaming since I was a kid, with the earliest game I can remember being 007 Goldeneye on the N64. 

Despite that, I've always been a PlayStation gal and it's my platform of choice. If there's a game I really want to play, I will give it a go on PC, but I'm not a huge PC gamer and my laptop is even less of a fan lol I also play a few mobile games but those are often updated and do not have an “end.”

My favorite genres are adventure, racing, casual and simulation, but I'll try pretty much anything. Actually, I disliked Sci-Fi games until a few years ago, now I find myself playing quite a few haha Most of the games I buy are either on sale or come from PlayStation Plus. 

My backlog is literally bigger than Mt. Everest and I struggle to finish games. I hate games that are 20+ hours long and open world because I get distracted too easily and it takes me like 8 years to finish them 🥴 Yet I still keep playing them lol All the coolest games are so long, man. It feels like developers think length = great game which is not true.

I am a bad gamer. I don't like challenge, I like story. Games like Elden Ring or Dark Souls or Nioh… I can't even begin to play them. That's not to say they are bad games, they're just not for me. I know my limits and games like those are for me to watch others play instead of playing them myself.

My reviews are not professional, either, and many are just my thoughts or feelings about a game. They're also filled with cussing ⛵️ because I am a degenerate (pirate) sailor. 

I do not care about politics or real world BS. This blog is about gaming and gaming only. You know, that thing we play to temporarily ESCAPE real life. So, if you bring that to me, you'll be blocked. I don't care what the creator of a game said 5 years ago or who a writer supports. Learn to separate the art from the artist and keep your complaints on Twitter, thank you.

When Big Sean said "I be in the air, more than I be on the ground..." he was talkin bout her. Miss ma'am is literally NEVER home.

She's chopstick savvy (she's got the lil trait and everything)

Can solve a rubiks cube in less than 5 minutes

Dance is literally her life (She had the opportunity to attend an Ivy League school but she preferred to attend an HBCU so she could experience being a Majorette)

💘 What and/or who do(es) your oc consider the most important to them?

Her Grandmother (on her Dad's side). They've developed a very tight bond with each other over the years and Angel likes to describe her as "her heart in human form".

Angel was adopted when she was born, so unfortunately she didn't grow up knowing her birth family. After graduating high school she took a gap year to explore Sulani; an attempt to connect with her birth family. Unfortunately, her father had passed away but she was able to find her Grandmother and 3 of her father's other children. Papa was a rollin' stone, so he has quite a few offspring around the Sim Worlds. She doesn't have a connection with her birth mom...but that's another story for another day.

💜 What is your oc's ancestry/genetic background?

Her mother is Black and Komorebian and her father is Sulanian. Ultimately, If I were to translate this to real life Angel would be Black, East Asian, and Pacific Islander.

✈️ Does your oc like traveling, or do they consider themselves a more homey person?

Although sweet pea is adventurous and travels a lot (mainly for work), she prefers to be home. She's the type to light a candle, put on a face mask, drink a glass of wine, and unwind with a good book (or snuggle up under her man with a good book Lol).

She's ambidextrous

She's absolutely terrified of Frogs

German Chocolate cake is her favorite but she somehow hates chocolate flavored things.

💘 What and/or who do(es) your oc consider the most important to them?

Her peace is the most important thing to her. She meditates, journals, and practices yoga daily. I love that for her so much!

💜 What is your oc's ancestry/genetic background?

She's Black. Her mother is from Willow Creek and her father is from Del Sol Valley. If this were real life, think roots in NOLA and Cali.

✈️ Does your oc like traveling, or do they consider themselves a more homey person?

Babygirl is a little bit of both. She is definitely a Simelta Airlines SkyMiles Member (and her bags are still waiting to be unpacked from her last trip) & she loves a good road trip but she loves a good, cozy night in just a little bit more. "Girls Night In" is her favorite, she hosts it once a month at her house and they have all the drinks, charcuterie boards, and gossip til' they pass out.

Snorkeling with Dolphins in Sulani is her favorite thing.

She sews her own clothes (she's currently considering opening a shop on Trendi)

She can't whistle...like at all (thia reminds me of that one Peppa Pig episode where she can't whistle and I've been laughing way too hard for way too long)

💘 What and/or who do(es) your oc consider the most important to them?

Marine Life. Before she dropped out of college for a Reality TV opportunity she was studying to be a Marine Biologist. She loves everything about the ocean...or any huge body of water for that matter. Whenever she needs to decompress, she goes to the Aquarium. I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up leaving the hustle & bustle of the city for the beach life.

💜 What is your oc's ancestry/genetic background?

She's Black. Her mother is from San Myshuno and her father is from Copperdale. At this time I don't have a real life city comparison in my game for these two worlds. So far, all I know is San Myshuno is a BIG city and Copperdale is the country...Lol.

Berry bitty adventures legacy challenge Strawberry shortcake and sims are basically my 2 favorite things, so I decided to combine them and make my own legacy challenge! If you feel the same this might be the perfect legacy challenge for you! This is the berry bitty adventure's legacy challenge! Info: - Sadly this uses mods, and it's not base game. - This is inspired by the not so berry challenge. - If you can't get the pack/mod needed you can replace it! - Also if you didn't notice this is in rainbow order because why not. Your 3 Traits: Only three??! I'm much more complicated than that! I will at least mention the seven I have on my main blog: nerd brain / creative / bookworm / dog lover / cheerful / green fiend / good

Your Aspiration: Again, why pick only one? For sure I like to write stories, so Bestselling Author would probably be fitting. But Big Happy Family is probably closer to the truth!

In Game World You'd Live In: Tartosa maybe? Or Brindleton Bay? Actually Henford-on-Bagley is lovely as well... Okay, I would live anywhere, as long as I can keep my family and friends.

Favorite Townie: I enjoy making my own townies and delete all the premade sims as soon as I can. So I have no idea about those townies! Even the indelible ones gets a full make over if they should dare to show their face in my historical hoods. In that sense Vlad and the Crumplebottom cousins are most often played. Well, Agatha is the most charming one, so let's have her as a "favorite".

Most Used Pack: Since I've done a lot of Stone Age and Early Civilization building, probably Outdoor Retreat and Jungle Adventure. My favorite is Seasons however. I'm a sucker for realism, and just love those snow storms. Well not really, but I do love the changing seasons.

Favorite Decor Object: Fruit bowls! Can't get enough of them! And my papyrus scroll bookshelf - I put them everywhere!

You Want In the Game: Anything that improves historical realism. Also I miss so much the lovely realistic looking builds in slopes from TS3 and free placement of lots from TS2. And please please please give us the possibility to have different heights of walls next to each other. With roof!!!

What Color Is Your Plumbob: I have a chronic disease making my energy level constantly very low, so if I'm truthful I would say red'ish. But my mood is great, so I go for bright green!

I think all my friends are going crazy preparing stuff for Simblreen at the moment, so I don't want to add to their stress, but consider yourself tagged if you want to do it! I would love to get to know you even better!
