So let's say that "ghosts" do reflect the way they are remembered by whoever is experiencing them (for example, you might remember your grandma best when she's in the garden, so her visage is sunny and bright even if you see her ghost in a dark room).

This is obviously not great when it comes to Junko, because she's generally remembered as something extraordinary and powerful. Yes, unnaturally straight teeth and long legs and all that creepy model shit, but also, she was charismatic, sweet, strong, alluring, challenging, unbeatable, depending on what she needed to be to manipulate any person.

Hajime isn't one who experiences the Haunting too much, but if he did, he'd probably be the only person to see her as she, to the unaffected, generally was; a pretty teenage girl who thought she was invincible and had a talent for getting into your head. Nothing more.

All those small moments Tobi came up with like

I totally wondered myself when in concert what he did when he ran off the stage every time and look, it's all part of the movie! He planned it all along

He even makes fun of all the costume changes

Like when he's confused about the sudden Year Zero outfit and makes Eww when he sees he holds the cross UP lol

The way his parents seem to scare him about death only to scare us

How you barely notice all the times he throws the mic from one hand to another by the way the movie is edited UNLESS you give that special attention and see how it's suddenly in the other hand (I watched it twice okay)

That time when he's on the drum pedestal and we see him from the back as he looks over his shoulder to us

"When I first came here to be an entertainer ... well, that wasn't ME, but you know what I mean ..." Might be me but I love how he lets his own self shine throw the personas sometimes. He's so touching and caring beneath all that

y'all having friends in your 40s is really fucking hard. either they're busy with their partners and/or kids or they're self-important to the point you can't deal with it or you're tired and dealing with chronic illness or hermiting or you have really specific special interests that they don't share or you outgrow them.

i have chosen to remain single and child-free because i prefer to spend my time and money how i want to spend it. and now my circle of friends has dwindled to a couple of people. and i'm not sad about it. i am a bit worried i'm turning into a cranky bitch, but i'm also not worried because i feel [mostly] content. something wild and wonderful happened when i turned 40. i finally got some fucking boundaries and put myself first after a lifetime of people pleasing (i still do this but i'm deconstructing; making progress, though!).

A few nights ago, my stepdad put on the Ghost movie, Rite Here Rite Now. I have since been on a binge, listening to a bunch of songs (some familiar to me, some not) and that song Cirice is so good. Like... it's so dark and haunting, and the guitar riff reminds me of some of Metallica's famous intros. So good.

he goes hours without looking at his phone. everyone knows to call him if it’s urgent because otherwise he WILL just ignore it.

⊹ likes relaxing in weird places

⊹ is the dad that acts like he hates pets but secretly loves them

refuses to call any pets by their names, only referring to them as “fatass,” stinky,” or his favorite: “freeloader.” you’ll catch him cuddling them on occasion. he denies it even if you have photo evidence.

⊹ “he’s cat-coded” “he’s dog-coded” you are all wrong!! he’s a lizard

runs cold, always has the heat on even in the middle of summer. you can’t even sneakily turn it down, he materializes behind you. it’s like he has a sixth sense for when you’re near the thermometer. habitual blanket stealer at night, you’ll wake up trembling and look over to find him peacefully sleeping in his pile of stolen blankets.

⊹ hates getting sick

kind of a germaphobe. will put on a literal hazmat suit to tend to you when you get sick. acts like a medieval peasant dying from the plague whenever he gets sick.

⊹ that stereotype about british people having awful food? it’s him

while soap is the type to burn the kitchen down while cooking, simon is the type who creates a chemical weapon on accident. doesn’t know how to use spices or seasoning, everything he makes is either way too salty or tastes like cardboard.

⊹ big football fan, he’s surprisingly into it

unfortunately he’s a manchester united fan. likes spending weekend mornings relaxing while watching a match with you. it lasts all of five minutes before he gets annoyed and starts ranting about how shit all the players are. gets into hours-long arguments with soap over it (soap isn’t even into football he just likes pissing simon off)

⊹ gets so jealous over fictional crushes (ironically)

will sulk and give you the silent treatment whenever you call an actor hot while watching a movie with him. if you have any figurines of your faves, you’ll often catch him glaring at them as if they’ve personally wronged him.

⊹ this man is a VIRGIN!!!!

you’re literally the first person he’s ever dated and probably the only person he’s ever kissed (unless you count that one time he got drunk with soap-) also he’s fully lying, he keeps track of the exact number of people he’s killed.
