How’s your Ramadan been y’all? Ramadan has been “Ramandan-ing.” But different than other years where I actually felt like I was in despair. This year it’s like a cyclone of life events that are continually scheduled back to back. Most that we can’t cancel or postpone. They have to play out ⚽️ 🏫 💻🪫🚧🛰and we have to learn to fit it all in. And we are painting the dining room, the kitchen, the cabinets, installing carpet and more! 🛸⛵️ Struggling to do “the most” like we normally but this is a different form of #ibadah. Grateful that it’s NOT the summer of 2016, ‘cause that was a Ramadan that I’ll NEVER FORGET. Overall I’m “aight.” Looking forward to slowing down. I need it.
