people seriously pretending EEAAO is overrated suddenly bc it swept awards? it swept awards largely because it is very very very good. I cried like someone who's just had a religious revelation BOTH times I watched it bc it touched something raw and real and beautiful but it was also just very, very funny. everyone's performance kills and the concept is creative and interesting and doesn't distract from the emotional core. you guys are just contrarian.

viewing the fnaf movie as just a movie doesn't work. you're sabotaging yourself and taking away all the enjoyment from it if you don't think of it as the fnaf movie. if i look at it as just a movie, then yeah, i totally get what the critics are saying. it's so far from the lore of the original games (but since when has that not been a problem in the franchise lmao), the killer doesn't really have a clear motivation, and the ending does kind of come out of nowhere. but if i think of it as the fnaf movie i can actually love it. yes, it's far from the original lore. that's just how fnaf goes. yes, it is a glorified two hour lore dump. but could we want anything more from fnaf? it's literally infamous for the lore. sure, springtrap does kind of come out of nowhere. but the joy and whimsy experienced when he does show up is fucking amazing, actually. i don't care if it's a bad movie. it's the best viewing experience i've had in 2023.

i don’t hate Moira because she “gets in the way” of cherik, of course not. thats silly

the real reason i hate her is because she’s a terribly written character and i need her to leave immediately. she may not mean it but she brings chaos into everyones lives and a lot of people are dead because of her

thanks a lot Moira for shooting the bullet that paralyzed Charles, awakening a false god, causing the death of Erik’s family, bringing Magneto out of hiding, being the reason Charles is bald, being the reason nearly all of Cairo is destroyed (with extremely high casualties), and for just kind of being you. i just don’t like you

the one good thing i do praise her for is bringing cherik together

but lets be honest, that would’ve happened regardless 👀

did you know that amy originally wrote the song 'together again' for the first narnia film? did you also know that when we adopted my cat narnia, her name was originally nadia, but i thought narnia sounded way cooler? well! now you do!! anyway, here's a drawing of my cat narnia entering narnia through an evanescence-inspired wardrobe (i used some of the designs from the actual door on the 'open door' album cover)

(ignore the fact that this wardrobe doesn't actually have any doors, it was too hard to draw and i couldn't be bothered, and now it just looks even more like a magical portal <3)

also. i did not expect this to turn out so well! i'm gonna frame it and hang it up somewhere around the house 🐈
