Underrated the Uzumaki clan

Till this day, I still don’t know how the Uzumaki clan got pushed back SO MUCH

like seriously how it’s the MAIN CHARACTER’S CLAN put on the back burnner.

Anyway...

 Uzumaki Clan memebers are known for having bright, red hair, possessing incredibly strong life-forces and chakra, and their sealing Jutsu.

The Uzumaki were fear so bad nations allied together and destoryed Uzushiogakure.

  Some Uzumaki possessed a unique form of chakra with special properties which made them especially well-suited to become jinchūriki

jutsu (Mostly Seals)

Four Symbols Seal  ch 500

jutsu requires a great deal of talent to perform. The user applies the seal's formula to an object or a human's body, sealing a large enemy or an evil spirit within them. according to Bee the seal is stronger than his Iron armour seal

Reaper death seal

Only the summoner is able to see the Shinigami at this point. It then drives its arm into the summoner's soul, thus allowing the summoner to call upon the Shinigami to seal a target: the Shinigami's arm emerges from the summoner's body and grasps the target's soul

Heal Bite chap 412

ability has been shown to heal even life-threatening injuries, and is also capable of quickly restoring the stamina of those healed. This jutsu, however, rapidly depletes the user's own chakra reserves

 Adamantine Chains ( Sealing)

produce chains made out of their own chakra, which  emerge from their torso. Users control the chains as they extend outwards from their body, most commonly to wrap around targets and restrain them (Nine tails)

They also can make a barrier.

 Adamantine Attacking Chains being an incomplete version of the Adamantine Sealing Chains, Karin was able to use this jutsu to destroy most of giant wooden statue and its hands.

Thoughts:

It’s the fact that we litteraly know next to nothing of this clan history just the basics. The lost jutsu we could have seen. Maybe,even before the fall of Uzu. We do know that in Naruto Orochimaru was poking around the ruins learning history

Even the only reason why Naruto(Lost Kurama) was still breathing was bc he’s half Uzumaki (chap 662-663)

Mito lived around the time of third hokage still even had her red hair.

Kushina was the best in fūinjutsu and taught Minato.

More Orochimaru and kabuto headcanons these are completely subject to my whim and interest. Not orokabu specific, it's just general hcs.

■ Orochimaru isn't purposely cruel. He also truly does not like to lie, and at most, he would omission the truth.

When he offered to ressurect Tsunade's lover and her kid brother (Orochimaru's student) he was being genuine. There was no ill intent, and he thought meeting them would bring Tsunade closure.

Orochimaru believes death is never permanent.

From Kabuto's perspective, as a medic, he believes there's values in the living, and he preserves them. (Although in this case, it's mostly keeping human experiments alive as long as possible)

He would thrive in seeing other fight for their life.

Because once a person flatline, they're considered dead to Kabuto. Edo tensei doesn't equal to the living. He respects the process of grief and accepting a loved one passing and moving on. But Kabuto has always considered death a permanent state.

So the though of Orochimaru offering to bring back loved ones for Tsunade makes him feel sicken.

(Ironically, when Kabuto created army of edo tensei for the 4th war, he was under the assumption of tormenting the living but it did bring many people closures to their loved one, like how Orochimaru had intented for Tsunade)

■ Both Orochimaru and Kabuto are perfectionists, but their core values are entirely different. Orochimaru focused on the end result, and Kabuto prioritized procedures.

When Orochimaru works, the steps toward the end result are rough and constantly require refining. It's essential to him that it worked before anything else. He is (literally) on a tight schedule before his body passed his expiration date.

Kabuto takes longer time to process his work (compared to Orochimaru), but he never makes mistakes. Once he completed something, he rarely needed to return to it.

They both think the other one is difficult to work with, but they complement each other and cover each other flaws.

■ Kabuto learned basic healing techniques from Nonou and has learned to kill during his ROOT years. But it was Orochimaru who taught him how to dissect people, and he didn't get to further his medical experience until he worked for Orochimaru.

■ Kabuto doesn't share the same obsession with collecting Jutsus like Orochimaru and has little to no interest in learning them. With the exception of summons and fūinjutsu.

■ Orochimaru likes to act 'twisted' to get a rise out of people because if he doesn't, they tend to mock him. He is generally a reserved and poise person.

■ Kabuto faux polite is a fare, but a startled number of people accepted it at face value, even those who know he's faking it. He is still a pleasant person to be around (compared to Orochimaru).

Favorite ninja weapon

It depends on the situation, really.

Different weapons work best in different circumstances, so I like to be well versed in the use of most of them, since you never know when you might need to pick up a certain weapon or skill as a shinobi.

A bow and arrows : It's quiet and its projectiles can be used over and over again - if you're not against plucking it out of your dead target and cleaning it up a bit. It's also good for catching a meal when you're out on a long term mission and your rations are starting to dwindle.

Kusarigama : There are three types of this weapon and all of them can be used to entangle an opponent's spear, sword, or other weapon. It can also be used to immobilize arms or legs. Having an opponent immobilized makes it easier to cast a close range Ninjutsu like Chidori or to strike the opponent down with the sickle end of the weapon. Also it looks cool.

Ninja Wire / Chains : Probably some of the most versatile items on the list. Wire string is light, lengthy and durable, with a variety of useful functions. It can be applied to traps, used to bind an opponent or to restrict their movements. It can cut through flesh and bone when tightened. And like chains you can use it to manipulate weapons and channel chakra; not to mention rappelling. Did I mention makeshift laundry line! Since you can use it to hang your flackjacket on to dry after an unexpected downpour.

Tantō : A short sword used for piercing and stabbing. Easy to carry and conceal. The Hatake clan tantō could also absord, channel and release chakra with a practices swipe.

Ninjatō : Sword shorter than a katana, but used in the same way. The shorter lenght allows for fast draw techniques centered around drawing the sword and cutting at the same time to create a simultaneous defensive, parying and attacking action. Used by many Anbu agents.

Shiruken : Long ranged weapon, mainly used to mislead or distract your opponent from your actual attack. This is one of the first, fundamental lessons taught at the academy.

Kunai : The most basic shinobi weapon, but also one of the most useful (and very likely the favourite). Can be used as a foothold or hold in rock / wall climbing. Can be used in hand-to-hand combat to block and deflect attacks and also to stab and slice through enemies, their attacks, or any barriers. It can serve as a projectile and is sturdy enough to be used in conjunction with other tools and shinobi arts, like Fūinjutsu, to expand on its function. A prime example being an explosive tag, which is just a kunai with an explosive seal tagged at its hilt.

Scrolls : Not typically something you would add to a list of weapons, but can be weaponized easily through sealing techniques and a little bit of chakra infused ink or blood.

The concept of space-time ninjutsu is crazy.

"By manipulating a specific point of space, the user can warp anything targeted into a dimensional void and teleport it to another location instantaneously."

Examples of this are the Hirashin created initially by Senju Tobirama and then perfected by Namikaze Minato, and Uchiha Obito's Kamui. Additionally all summoning based techniques are space time related as well.

So my question is, how do you even begin to create something like the Hirashin? Is it simply an extremely efficient summoning jutsu attached to a Kunai? But specifically only summons the user? How do they use it long range? Is it somehow connected to his Chakra? Or maybe he's also integrated Fūinjutsu into it as well, by connecting the seals on the handle and ones on himself to help teleport back and forth?

But that would mean the summons needed to have some sort of seals on their bodies as well. However it's evident the signed contract between them and the user specifically relies on the user's Chakra. So maybe Hirashin IS the same concept just specific to one person. Though we can see a group use it at one point.

So many thoughts about the Naruto world. I'm going to be delving into this with my fanfic.

Yoshino knows that Sakura and Ino were childhood friends which is how she met Chouji and Shikamaru. It's how she knows Hinata, Kiba, and Shino. When Sakura met Ino, she met other kids who knew Ino, and thus befriended them. Even if Sakura isn't as close with them as the Ino-Shika-Cho trio, it was enough to acquaint herself with other comrades and understand that it wasn't healthy to be too co-dependent with another person.

Sakura probably figured that out sooner, which led to a rivalry between the two girls. But, to learn that Shikamaru and Chouji chose to stick with Ino after befriending Sakura—that they left her in the dust was difficult to swallow.

"That is not how I taught you to treat your comrades, Shikamaru," Yoshino says quietly. It isn't the berating, chastising, or even shrilly voice that Shikamaru is used to associating his mother's nags with. This was a soft-spoken statement, a finality that ended with a closed book.

Shikaku stares at his son apathetically and presses his lips together, "I won't tell you that I didn't expect this from you. I won't tell you that it's a good idea to befriend the Hokage's apprentice for not just the favor of the Hokage or the connections. I will tell you that you didn't just betray yourself when you rid yourself of a loyal friend, but you betrayed Sakura-chan's opinion of you, and those are the hardest things you can gain back, if ever."

The clan head places the tray of fūinjutsu scrolls in front of him, "Sakura will be one of the best medical ninjas in the world. Her drive, dedication and work ethic are nothing to scoff at. Her intelligence and foresight rivals that of the Nara clan. She is supposed to be your comrade, someone you can depend on when you're risking your life on a mission. She is what stands between you and the shinigami. Don't dig yourself into a hole that you can't come out of, Shikamaru."

Day 6 - November 10: Jutsu gone… Right | Wrong

"Izuna?" Tobirama sticks his head into his friend's kitchen, glad not to have to do this in public. "Can I ask for your opinion on something?"

"Sure, what do you - " Izuna looks up from the fish he's gutting, and Tobirama almost laughs at the shock on his face. "What the fuck."

"Yes, that's quite a succinct description of my predicament." Tobirama drapes the long tail of hair over his shoulder, the result of his newest experiment. "Is this normal for the seal your clan usually uses?"

"No! Not at all!" Washing his hands quickly, Izuna comes over and fingers the strands. "This is down past your knees! How did you manage this?"

"I simply used the seal I've been developing," Tobirama knows his best friend will know exactly what he's talking about, as it was Izuna who showed him what the Uchiha use to regrow their hair after they sit in their fires. "It's not exactly the same as yours, which is why I wanted to check the results with you."

"Well, I don't know how the one we use actually works - I'm not a fūinjutsu master like you, and I always assumed one of our ancestors stole it from somewhere with their Sharingan." Izuna's explanation makes sense, and Tobirama nods along as it's almost exactly what he expected. "But ours doesn't do this."

"Ah, then would you be willing to do a direct comparison?" Tobirama pulls out a kunai and offers it. "If we both shave, any differences in the results should be obvious."

"Sure," Izuna takes the blade, gathering his hair in a fist. "We can - "

"No." Madara-sama interrupts them, bursting through the door. "You're not cutting that, absolutely not."

"If Izuna wants to shave his head, I don't see why you'd object." Tobirama can't help feeling offended at the idea that he'd do anything to hurt his friend. "It's his choice, and it's not like the hair won't grow back almost immediately."

"No! No one is shaving!" Madara-sama waves his hands agitatedly for emphasis, seeming almost panicked by the idea. "Give me the kunai!"

"Nii-san!" Izuna seems to see something in his brother that Tobirama doesn't, and Madara-sama flinches at the tone. "My rival? Really?"

"Shut up!" Izuna's brother glares furiously despite his red face. "Be quiet before I decide you're overdue for a visit to the koi pond!"

"You could try!" Izuna dives out of the window, already taking off running, and Madara-sama chases him.

"Just watch me!" Despite the rapidly growing distance between Tobirama and the two Uchiha, Madara-sama's bellow is loud enough to be heard clearly. "Come back here!"

There's something he's missing here, Tobirama is sure of it, and it's not just the differences between the two seals, but sunset is a while away and he has nothing else to do today.

He can wait.

This is their house, after all - they'll have to come back sometime.

The weight of the forehead protector is odd. Takeko doesn't know what to do with it, even as she's watched most everyone else in the class adjust it around their heads and necks. The Nara kids have all chosen to not do that, slinging them around their torso, arms, or waist. Nara Shikayo is pulling on her twin's cheek and bullying him into sitting upright enough to let her tie the cloth tighter.  "Since when did you care, Kayo-nee," he's complaining and the girl scoffs, dragging him upright.  "Since you and Shikaba decided to get dressed in the dark, otouto," she snaps back, tying the knot in place. "Now hush, you can go back to sleep now, Iruka-sensei isn't going to be in for a while." Nara-kun grumbles indistinctly, lying his head back down on his crossed arms and promptly closing his eyes. She suspects he isn't actually going to sleep. The Nara has referenced too many conversations he's been apparently asleep during for her to believe it anymore. Biting her lip briefly, Takeko eyes the doorway worriedly. Uzumaki-kun didn't pass the Graduation Exam, but the Village did go on lockdown that night for his theft of the Forbidden Scroll. What happens if Iruka-sensei doesn't pass him anyway?

Kushina

she’s strong enough to become kage (hokage)

Kushina is mentally and physically strong, I can see her being a leader or kage, she is brave and fierce is ready to put her life on the line.

GIVE IT UP FOR THE RED HOT HABANERO!!!!

she’s always ready to sacrifice herself for her loved ones as we have already seen this Naruto and Minato.

As a Uzumaki, she has huge chakra reserves, stamina, and longevity.

she was talented and knowledgeable in fūinjutsu. She even taught Minato fūinjutsu which included Four Symbols Seal and Eight Trigrams Sealing Style etc.

 survived Kurama’s extraction which is impressive considering that Naruto almost died because of that.

even after giving birth to Naruto and getting Kurama extracted, still had the power to restrain Kurama.

her weak version, she gave birth and had Kurama extracted because there's no feat for her strongest version (when she's ya'know not half dead). When a character is already powerful at their weakest version then we can consider them really powerful.

the portion of chakra she left in Naruto was enough to help him get KCM1.

 Kushina wasn’t really all that serious about becoming Hokage, at least not until she fell in love with Minato.

Didn't have anything to do with Minato wanted to become the Hokage as well and she just didn’t want to compete with him.

she wanted to impress everyone.

Kushina is like Naruto looking for the respect and the acknowledgement of everyone, but by meeting Minato, someone who saved and supported her through her lonely life, she just didn’t care about recognition anymore, she had a great person by her side and that was enough for her.

 Naruto wanted that also, recognition but he never stopped wanting to become the Hokage because over the years, he made friends he cares about and he realized that he didn’t need to become the Hokage to have that.

Like Itachi said: Becoming Hokage isn’t about acknowledgement, he realized how important his friends are.

Without them, Naruto would be like Obito, that’s why he can’t lose them.

 Naruto realize that he had to become Hokage to protect his village and friends.
