Are Gojo and Geto gay?

Well it's complicated. Let's set some things straight, neither of them have been confirmed nor denied anything, and a romantic relationship is not expicitely stated, as their relationship is different according to each person interpretation of their interactions.

That said, it's completely fine if you watched the show and thought of them as completely straight and platonic besties. But we can theorize and speculate for fun!

Spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen

Firstly, I'd like to mention the fact that they both died in the same day. December 24th. That in it of its self isn't romantic, it's just showing us their connection. But in Japanese culture, Christmas eve is considered to be one if the most romantic days of the year. It's kinda like a Japanese Valentines day, where people celebrate love by eating KFC together.

No, I'm not kidding. KFC is seen as a Christmas tradition in Japan, and also a love symbol. And where did our little guys have their little break up infront of? A KFC.

I can't find the real picture so this all you get.

It surely wasn't just a design coincidence, since it was both in the manga and the anime. Gege must've put that intentionally, and I must admit it's funny as fuck.

Also, that scene in Jujutsu Kaisen where GoJo gives Yuuta (fuck that bitch cunt whore I hope he dies thatt little emo fucker killed my fuckung husband because he promises to fuck his monster girlfriend later, fuck him and 60 family generations) his lost ID that Geto found. I found that weird because why did he call Geto his only friend when Shoko also was his friend? Maybe they had a deeper connection neither of them wanted to admit?

When talking about Gojo and Geto relationship you have to mention that even if Gege wanted to make them gay he couldn't since Japan, ironically is a homophobic country. Many people get canceled for making characters gay and many shows don't get aired in Japan because of the homosexual characters. And imagine what would happen if Gojo, arguably the most recognizable anime and manga character in all modern media was made out to be gay. The reaction that would have.

Gojo also stated in his death that the only regret he had is that Geto wasn't there to give him a pat in the back. (I'm not crying, you are)

A voice that cannot be heard" Refers to when Getos death, Gojo said something we as the audience cannot hear, a voice that cannot be heard and Geto responds to that "Now in my death the least that you could do was swear me with some curses" the words that curse you are on the back of my throat.

So, in conclusion, It depends on your interpretation, but you if want the answer to the question I'll respond that Gege wanted them to be gay but since he can't do that due to the Japanese culture, so he just heavily hinted at that.

This time you let him explore with his tongue, a soft groan escaping your throat. Sessions like these were common for the two of you, especially after such intense shows. Two sweaty bodies soaking into each other's warmth and making yourselves even more hot.

Suchin tried her best to balance school, her job, and caring for the rest of her siblings. Being the only source of income, Suchin dropped out of high school and worked full-time. It was only a matter of time before caseworkers came to her home to question her whereabouts. Social workers came to her home and arrested her parents. Taking both her younger siblings, Suchin however ran away before they took her

During her years in the city, She would collect bets at bar fights as a sort of incoming due to her lack of a high school diploma, occasionally she would sell snacks outside of schools as another form of income. Once gaining enough she would rent a basement underneath the bar and host underground fight clubs. Charging people for the entrance fee. She managed to buy an apartment and support herself. (sketch i did of her below they get progressively worse ^_^)

Young Adult:  Entering adulthood, she would often have recurring fighters ask for a place to stay. Not wanting to lose any income of her own and not wanting to see others suffer, she let fighters rest in her home. Providing them somewhat of a sanctuary. She decided to help the fighters who had no jobs and needed a sort of income to support their families. She eventually had enough money to buy the bar where she would host nightly fights with volunteers and of course, recurring fighters. She would use her savings to go back to school finishing Highschool and finally getting a college degree 

During these gambling times, she would also provide housing for those in need their only way to repay was simply to work for her. During her career, she met many interesting people. Declining offers and accepting. Creating bridges and burning them. While receiving threats from her bad decision-making. She had kicked out many groups from her bar (Black Dragon & Red Dragon hint hint)

Adult: Around her late 20’s and early 30’s Suchin would decide to shift her career into business. She would then give her underground fight club to a close friend of hers and She would end up becoming an architect then the CEO of a building company (idk what to call them…). Her reasoning behind this? she says that she grew from her old career and no longer needed it but in reality had a bounty on her head for not selling her bar to the Black dragons. She had somewhat completely distanced herself from her old career however she still provided housing and jobs for those in need. With that being said, Kenshi needed a place to stay at the moment.

At first, she thought Kenshi was here to assassinate her but was mistaken and therefore embarrassed afterward. Suchin provided a small apartment for him and set Kenshi up for a coffee boy around her company, but soon he became much more than that.

G13 is so invested in the underground that I think he forgets that he is actually a person existing. So he is just locked into his laptop, headphones on, typing away. People are assholes, he is an asshole, this is how the world works.

I think he would have an immediate issue with people he thinks are attractive, assuming that everyone thinks they are attractive and thus they must be assholes who get everything for free.

But obviously, that's not fair. I think kindness would be the beginning and end of it.

G13 solves some (painfully basic to him) tech issue for you and after he deep dives on how sweet you are.

The Not So Good Middle

Look, this motherfucker is a hacker bad guy who owes nothing to no one. He jumps through tech hoops to learn your schedule and more information about you to try and make sure to set up a good meeting situation.

I do think you notice, but it is normal to see people around the city. Likely a joke or two about a small world or maybe you thank your lucky stars that a tech wiz happens to be around because your dog shit tech is always breaking.

He is focused on trying to just be in your presence. Maybe he is talking around trying to basically take you on a date without ever asking.

I think the first show that his manipulation bits won't work, will be in this moment where you call him out. ("You know, you could just ask me out instead of trying to make me ask you or hoping we cross paths.")

Boundaries Made By Flat Acknowledgements

Look G13 is used to talking in code and dancing around realities. This is not how normal people expect to have to interact. I think he isn't used to hearing simply "No".

Just him pushing for you to hang out alone with him more instead of previously made plans. "Aw, baby, thank you for wanting to hang out with me, but let's do that tomorrow." A kiss to the forehead and the man is SPUTTERING.

Only you are able to coax him from work so he can remember to eat during projects.

Omg did you see that @xxsunoosprincess posy. She said she won't write for nikixreader fanfics because he's young and that minors can't request FLUFF FICS for him at all and she will block them if they do like ok So you're not ok writing non expicit stuff for niki niki reader fluff for readers who are in his age group (16-18)( I'm 17) but you're ok writing a niki x Jake fanfic when Jake is a 21 year old man and him and niki probably see each other as brothers ok I see where your standards lie

Yeahhh, I went to go and read the post on her blog just now, but as a fellow writer, I respect the boundaries she’s set in place for her content, even if they may seem odd or silly to others 🥴

Sure, some of her current values might not align with her past actions, but she’s just doing what any good author should do and that’s set personal boundaries … all we should rlly do as consumers tho is either support those rules or leave it at that 🤷‍♀️
