Man behind the iPod launches new cryptocurrency wallet

Tony Fadell, a well-known Silicon Valley executive known as the father of the iPod, on Today unveiled his latest project - a hardware wallet used to store cryptocurrency offline.

Fadell, spent almost a decade at Apple  under Steve Jobs, where he oversaw the design of the portable music player, and later helped create the company's best-known device, the iPhone.

Russian military airfields hit by explosions.

Russian air defences intercepted Ukrainian drones over two military airfields in Russia, hundreds of kilometres from the border between the two countries.

A Ukrainian drone strike on two Russian airbases in the Ryazan and Saratov regions has resulted in the deaths of three service members and minor damage to two airplanes, the Russian Defense Ministry said today.

A number of “Soviet-made” jet drones, flying at low altitude, targeted the long-range strategic aviation assets at the Dyagilevo airfield in Ryazan Region and Engels airfield in Saratov Region, the ministry said. While they were detected and shot down by air defenses, the debris impacted the airfields “slightly” damaging two aircraft.
