this was supposed to be for pokeddexy.. AHA..HA... 😭 day 2... dark type... yeah

kitsuragi kiyomaru as he was when alive. he was the leader of a kabukimono gang at the very start of the edo period in hisui. they enjoyed great success and lived extravagantly for some time, but ultimately his tale ended in tragedy as his men betrayed him to the authorities as a scapegoat. kiyomaru was thus captured and executed.

dgaf about egg jokes they're harmless and at worst mildly stereotypical do your thing im sure ive made one before. however. i do feel like the whole discourse was kicked off by that "egg behavior to wear women's deodorant as a man" tweet and we all collectively need to agree that that tweet was dumb & stupid and women's deodorant is objectively superior to men's. actually men's hygiene products in general just suck more except razors. apparently its manly to smell like shit and have dry skin. if i had my druthers id force every cis man to use dove deodorant. id mean id still do it if it made them transgender but i see it as more of a public service in terms of smell than in that regard.

This was very fun to draw, just threw a lot of ideas on there at the same time because I desperately wanted to make art for this awesome AU that was more serious in nature but had so many ideas that I went for multiple of them

And without the mess of text and with slightly better quality (IDK why it's more blurry in the first image honestly)

Trying to experiment with my art a little, it looks very messy haha

There's a lot of talk about the "magical cure" trope in relation to disability and ableism, but imo when media goes too hard the other way.... i don't feel too good about it either. There's almost a feeling that we *shouldn't* have escapist, hopeful fantasies. Oh this fictional character got a magical cure? Nope, that's bad! Back to being a cripple. It's almost painted like a moral punishment. Idk. Halfbaked thoughts, but that gut feeling has been there.
