I was trying to study and started drawing this in the margins. Sorry for my handwriting, here is a transcript if you need it: KDJ: Sooyoung-ah HSY: hm? KDJ: when you shared my story to those other worldlines…the ones where I myself don’t exist… HSY: hey, are you going to be ungrateful again?

KDJ: Hah? No– I just KDJ: Do you think they write their own stories about us? HSY: pffft KDJ: What? HSY: You know they write fanfiction about us now. in this worldline. KDJ: You’re kidding. HSY: Yeah, Anna Croft goes on twitter to talk about how its… HSY: “problematic” KDJ: huh.. HSY: Actually, three of the biggest author accounts got doxxed last week. [image of Uriel saying ‘huh!’ and ‘ah, not this one too!’] [image of Jan Hayoung saying ‘nooooooooo’] HSY: Two turned out to be Uriel. The other was Jang Hayoung KDJ: Do I want to kn– HSY: You don’t want to know. HSY: You know, I do think that 1% of you out there is probably dreaming fanfiction stories of you. Us. Everyone. HSY: For you…I hope they dream a million happy endings.

I love thinking about the Lee Sookyoung and Han Sooyoung parallels.

I Love thinking about how Lee Sookyoung's advice to Kim Dokja is mirrored in Yoo Joonghyuk..

And...because they recognized those messages it's one of the reasons why they hate Yoo Joonghyuk.

if you’re trapped in a time loop you can change the shape of the loop so that it looks like a heart. you would still be stuck in the time loop though

I read Sclasses a while ago and shj is still doing a number on me.

the tthing is, orv is about kim dokja's perspective and how he makes assumptions about the story, but also how the story challenges him.

So many things are stated to be different from the novel and every character is significantly divergent. Lee Seolhwa and Lee Hyunsung are the only ones who get a static treatment. SS really likes foreshadowing and pointing out when something seems "off" and the more the reader reads the more Kim Dokja's bias on what happened is revealed. It feels more like the Lee's have been kinda forgotten, kinda like Han Doonghoon who only occasionally shows up.

I kinda wish Lee Seolhwa got more of the Kim Namwoon subtext treatment. She gets so few lines and was supposedly closer to Joonghyuk, their always on the same team and all when she isn't his enemy or he isn't avoiding her.

It's definitely better than say, Han Donghoon who isn't even treated like he's on the main team most of the time except for the 1863 arc. (He really is treated like he's the hacker side-character)

I get it but also I wanna know what she thinks because wos is the world it is and her companions seem to have particular traits that make them very reckless. Yjh, Ljh, knw and lhs especially when he's treated as a tank think: yjh saying he uses him as a shield and hsy not having yjh on her main team, so lhs has many injuries in the 1863 arc.

The moment where she said "I won't let anyone die" in the final scenario was really cool.
