Yeah, Kafka would very much like to have those keepsakes back. In is more than a little greatful that Mina has been looking after them.

Mina doesn't even try and fight Isao on it. Especially since Soshiro and Okonogi is going the extra mile to make sure she has nothing to worry about while going to her sessions. And once Kafka finds out about it, he too takes a step up and give Mina even more encouragement to go and get the help she needs as well.

And its in that moment he renew the old promise between them, as this time he tells her his not a liar when he says he'll stay by her side from now on. Cause this time, theres nothing thats gonna stop the man from being there when Mina needs him the most.

Mina would later on be grilled by Soshiro and Okonogi about this promise, and unknows to the trio someone overhears about the promise she and Kafka made back when they where kids. And learns of the fact that Kafka never stopped trying to join the Defense Force even after he failed the first time.

This spread like wildfire among the Thrids base. And later on to the higher ups and Isao.

It actually leads to a new investigation when they learn of these facts as well. And well, lets just say they find out that the organization have been messing with the tests for years to find and pick their targets. They only just stopped recently due the agressive raids and such that the Defense Force have been doing the past two years.

And with what little I have planned of the organization, its pretty much one of the reasons as to why they picked Kafka and Kikoru. Some of these guys and gals don't exactly have much of moral codes or the like to be bothered by doing things like that.

But thats about it of what I have to share. What do you think so far?

I can only imagine how Mina and Kafka are gonna react to their more personal origins becoming common information to the entire force. Like we know how popular both commanders are especially with Relax. Also the Defense Force practically has to rework their exams upon learning they've been tampered with.

Overall what you have is very interesting and well thought out.

This past year and three months have been such an awakening for Jewish people, but one with a certain flair of absurdity. It feels like un-reality, like a wicked nightmare you can't wake up from. It's like the entire world has lost its mind and when you try to tell them this isn't normal, that what they're doing is wrong, they twist reality itself to say that no it is actually normal, it is you who is wrong. They dehumanize you, treat you as a symbol of evil and disgust. It's like we all woke up a year ago no longer humans, something else, something vile, like a bug, like a... oh. oh.

Not at first no. But paperwork is just the tip of the iceberg that Isao has Gen do while these tests are going on. Isao is in no mood for the First Division's captain's gremlin habits and its shows with what Isao has the man do over the months.

The only time Gen ever gets to acutally fight Kafka is extremly brief and under the general's stric hawk watch as the old man is out on the field as well. He will karate chop the back of the captain's head hard if he even tries something that is not planned.

Also, Isao makes sure Mina has her own therapy sessions to go too as well. It becomes clear the woman needs it given how much of a toll its taking on her seeing how badly affected her old friend is. Mina is to much of a good captain and figther to lose. Not to mention the haunted look he would see on rare occasions reminds him too much of the look Kikoru had when she learnd of Hikari's death.

Speaking of Mina, I got something to share about how she dealt with Kafka's missing status over the years after his kidnapping. As well as how she found out.

It was just your typical day in any other week. A peaceful one at that as no kaiju have been spotted so far. The captain of the Third was just finishing some much needed paperwork when a officer came in with a bit of an awkard look on their face.

When asked why the matter was, she got to know that a police officers was here to see her. Saying he had something to talk to her about.

And like the old saying goes, 'curiosity killed the cat', Mina's world upends as the police officers tells the woman that Kafka has been missing for weeks now. The reason he was here to see her was to hopefully get some much needed info that would lead to new leads as he had found out about the friendship she and Kafka shared. The people at the Monster Sweepers have been given all they can, but not a single lead has gotten them any further.

She doesn't exactly take the news well. And she starts her own investigation as well as to where Kafka has gone as soon as the police offcer is gone. She also managed to get some of Kafka's personall possesions as well, before the landlord sells it all to cover the overdue rent that the himbo owns him.

Its not much. But she knows she has managed to get the most importent stuff. She would eventually return these possesions back to Kafka once he has recovered enough. But until then, its all safely secured at Mina's place.

Its a few months after she finds about Kafka missing that the Defense Force learns of the organization and the inhuman experiments they have been doing for decades. And in about two years from there, she eventually finds the truth about her missing friend.

Mina definitely needs some therapy. Even moreso if she begins to think this is her fault. Both had obviously grown distant when she made it into the force but Kafka didn't. Mina left him alone for so long and if the organization was willing to put Kikoru on their list knowing the connection, they could've done it with the man first.

A sick way to test the waters should a target be connected to a high ranking officer. 'How long will it take for them to notice and react?' Mina not taking things well is dangerous for the Defense Force.

Kafka would really appreciate the return of these keepsakes.

can you explain what szpd is from the perspective of someone who has it?

szpd from the perspective of a schizoid is having a difficult time expressing and feeling different emotions, to the point that I usually just describe myself as "empty" because the way I feel emotions is much different than non-schizoids. I'm also not "empty" all the time, emotion (or a schizoids version of emotion) can visit, but it's not often.

I prioritize my worlds I've created through daydreaming, and will go hours in these worlds. I don't need external validation much, if any at all. I have literally caught myself thinking "Why does the outer world matter if I have these worlds inside of me? I could just daydream all day!"

I don't really care for socializing, but will do it to make the people around me feel more comfortable and less awkward. (Also I have only recently learned that when asked how your day was, you are socially obligated to ask the question back! Who knew!)

Some schizoids will be different with their experience obviously, so this is just one of many examples.
