Heeseung was always the one who listened to everyone’s problems, if one of the boys were upset, or if two of his members argued, he was there to listen to both sides, and he was fine with that. Although, he does admit it felt a little lonely.

Aohi changed that for him. At the start, he felt weird at the thought of sharing his feelings. So he mostly rambled about nothing and everything to Aohi.

Aohi happily listened to Heeseung’s soft words and sudden thoughts that he would blurt out around her.

Heeseung and Aohi are both known as one of the maturer members of ENHYPEN, but as soon as they’re alone together they’re turned into giggling toddlers. (source: EN-log; Aohi Day.)

When they first met, Aohi and Heeseung was like a cat who didn’t like it’s new siblings. If Aohi ever tried to even come close to Heeseung, he’d swat her away.

Heeseung’s favourite thing to do with Aohi is play LoL. Aohi doesn’t fairly enjoy the game, partly because she’s more FPS based, but she likes to bond with Heeseung.

There’s a running joke that Aohi is the boyfriend between the two, Heeseung acting a bit of a babygirl around her.

For example: Aohi and Heeseung watching LoL streams and Aohi praises said streamer, and Heeseung will want some praises as well.

“bunny, me too right? I’m good at it too, right?” - que sigh, “yes, seungie, you too.”

Aohi’s favourite thing to do with Heeseung is sleep, it’s not uncommon to know that despite being the eldest, Heeseung’s the last to wake up between the boys, therefore, he’s the best pillow.

Aohi knows if she sleeps in Heeseung’s bed, the boys don’t have the heart to wake either of them, even if they were late.

Aohi and Jay kind of took on the parental role of the group, Aohi, despite being part of the maknae line, Aohi’s maturity puts her as one of the elders basically.

I think that’s one of the many things Jay admires about her. The way she’s able to take care of things and manage her time and emotions effortlessly.

They’re what you’d expect from a married couple honestly.

Their habits of watching whatever on the TV, or the way they seem to just communicate telepathically whenever they’re cooking in the kitchen together.

Jay thinks Aohi is an ideal person to be with long-term, he answered her as the most ideal person to marry. (A fan had asked during a fan meet.)

Jay’s favourite thing to do with Aohi is bake, there was more than enough times where Jay was actually able to have some childish fun.

The members remember well when Jay and Aohi were left in the dorms, and the kitchen looked like a mess, with icing everywhere on the two’s faces.

Aohi’s personality with Jay is like a doting wife, to her hard-working husband.

That’s probably why Jay’s saved as Hubby on her phone, and her saved as Wifey on the boy’s phone.

Their favourite inside joke, Jay slipped on some mix while they were making meringues for Sunoo’s birthday, and ever since then, “meringue boy” was Aohi’s nickname for Jay.

Aohi’s favourite thing to do with Jay is go shopping, Jay and Ni-ki are, in her opinion, one of the best dressed and the best at finding outfits at shops.

Jake and Aohi had the most difficult time period with getting along, like cats and dogs, you could say. (haha, pun.)

Aohi had a bit of a hard time getting used to Jake being affectionate towards her because before Aohi debuted she and Jake were the ones likely to argue all the time.

And it always resulted to Aohi winning. Think as in, Dog bothers cat so cat swats dog and Dog ends up whimpering away.

Although, Aohi (doesn’t like to admit it) does have a soft spot for Jake.

Jake sometimes has a hard time falling asleep and when he does, he goes to Aohi’s bed where they cuddle to sleep.

Jake tries to be affectionate with Aohi a lot because he does feel guilty for fighting with her all of the time during her pre-debut days.

Jake thinks that with him bothering her all of the time during pre-debut, Aohi probably had a harder time. So he tries to make it up to her, by basically doing everything for her.

Aohi does appreciate his gestures and knows he’s guilty of their past. Aohi tries to soothe his guilts to the best of her ability.

Jake is like Heeseung in a way, always wanting her eyes on him, if Heeseung buys her a cookie? He’ll buy a jar full of cookies, Sunghoon buys her a perfume? He’ll buy her favourite perfume.

basically, if anyone goes low, he goes lower.

Their favourite topic to talk about is basically pets, Aohi has two family pets, named Chewy and Mochi. Both cats.

Obviously Jake loves Layla, but he tends to bicker with Aohi because he likes the way her eyebrows furrow when she’s frustrated, he thinks it’s cute.

“I’m not saying cats are better than dogs, I think Layla is cute and you’re just putting words in my mouth!” — “nuh uh.” — “FUCK YOU MEAN NUH UH???”

Jake’s favourite thing to do with Aohi is taking their pets for walks. Surprisingly Aohi’s pets are outdoor cats, and they enjoy taking walks with Layla.

Jake thinks that Aohi walking their pets is a very domestic task to do and basically adores it.

Visual overload, that’s what I’d call it, Aohi and Sunghoon bring the most visuals out of any event ever.

Engenes on Twitter love it so much in fact, that there’s threads of the outfits Aohi and Sunghoon have both worn matching.

Sunghoon and Aohi are the type of people to have silent conversations in a room full of people, enjoying each other’s silent gazes rather than speaking outwardly.

Despite their, rocky start (in rocky start I mean, Sunghoon was pretty much awkward with Aohi, pre-debut.) Aohi and Sunghoon are pretty funny together.

Sunghoon is actually the funniest member of Enhypen, and Aohi is his apprentice. Sunghoon loves to teach her his puns, it’s like their favourite thing to do.

Their victims mostly consist of Jungwon and Jay. The only difference is that they hate when Sunghoon does it but laughs when Aohi makes a joke.

The favouritism is so real, it’s crazy.

Aohi enjoys being around Sunghoon when she needs a break from talking or being social. They mostly don’t, but when it does get too much, Aohi seeks Sunghoon out.

Their favourite thing to do is definitely ice skate, she’s not better than Sunghoon, but she knows how to keep up with him.

Sunghoon and Aohi definitely have danced on the ice together, if not all the time.

Sunghoon loves when Aohi holds onto him on the ice, it makes him feel very loved and needed.

Now, new engenes tend to mistake ages a lot between Sunoo and Aohi, more people actually think Aohi is older than Sunoo!

Reason being is that, basically, Aohi acts like a bodyguard to Sunoo. She’s never not on Sunoo’s side, an arm around the boy’s shoulder like it’s some kind of avril lavigne song.

Behind the scenes though, Sunoo dotes on Aohi more than anyone in enhypen.

Sunoo and Aohi both definitely compliment each other in terms of personality, Sunoo has a bright mindset while Aohi has a more nightly perspective.

In other terms, Aohi and Sunoo complete each other as the Sun and the Moon.

Sunoo and Aohi also play a lot of video games with each other! Their favourite thing to play together is Animal crossing: New Horizons, they def have matching islands together as well.

Sunoo also appreciates Aohi a lot, Sunoo is the most prone to getting sick, and tends to stay home more often than any of the boys and Aohi loves keeping him company most days.

Sunoo thinks that Aohi is very caring, but It does worry him that she might be too caring about others that she forgets to take care of herself.

Sunoo’s favourite thing to do with Aohi is eat! If not for the way these two’s fox characteristics beat their love for food, their duo name would’ve been foodiez.

Aohi thinks that it’s adorable the way Sunoo looks like a hamster every time he eats, basically she gets cuteness aggression from his cheeks.

Aohi’s favourite moment of Sunoo’s was when it was late at night and he was supposed to be sleeping, but Aohi had caught him eating a food delivery he had gotten secretly.

Safe to say Sunoo had to share his food that night.

“Sunnie, you finished all of the radish!” — “yeah, well you finished all the sausages so we’re even.”

Aohi loves to bring Sunoo her food creations whenever she experiments, sometimes Sunoo does worry it’ll make him gain much but he can’t really deny Aohi now can he.

“Oppa, it’s just a muffin! It won’t do much!” — “Aohi…” — “please! I won’t bake anything for you after this!” — “Yah! I didn’t say you shouldn’t!”

Aohi and Sunoo also love to gossip a lot, heck, the boys have scolded them one too many times for being too loud at night.

If not for Xiulin who takes Aohi’s spot as her partner in crime, Sunoo would definitely be runner up.

Sunoo’s and Aohi’s most well known crime/prank would be when Aohi purposely took the wrong gate at the airport to leave from, so everyone thought she wasn’t on the plane to begin with.

Jungwon and Aohi was similar to that of Jake and Aohi, Jungwon was mostly frustrated since he took on the leader role at such a young age.

He believed that with Xiulin and Aohi into the mix was just even more stressful, and he was only a kid with too many responsibilities.

Jungwon and Aohi did talk about their shortcomings as members to each other, ending up where they were now.

Now, Aohi and Jungwon was very much friends, until of course, the promotions during the manifesto album.

Jungwon was very adamant with pursuing Aohi despite her unsure feelings (because at the time, Sunoo and Ni-ki were already in pursuit of her, and she knew.)

Despite this, Jungwon pursued Aohi anyways, leaving the girl with no choice but to let Jungwon court her. (She was secretly enjoying it, what’s a girl to do when getting pampered?)

Aohi and Jungwon are very easily the most girlfriend-boyfriend out of the whole duo. Both being born in the same year, and working like they merged into one person.

If Jungwon was the leader, then Aohi is definitely what follows after Jungwon.

The two are very strict with each other and the group, always wanting to be on their best behaviour. Very hypocritical of them because they always do the weirdest lives.

As in, eating every type of ice cream at three am in the morning lives. Yes, Aohi and Jungwon deliberately went to a convenience store and bought every type of ice cream there was.

Aohi got sick that day, and Jungwon felt so guilty he literally banned ice cream for a week after she got better.

Aohi and Jungwon’s favourite thing to do is go live, if that’s not surprising. Engene’s favourite live duo, because you’re either messing around with Jungwon or bothering other with Jungwon.

Jungwon’s very heart eyes for Aohi, he thinks she’s the most brilliant person in the whole entire world, Aohi, of course thinks the same, she loves his mischievous behaviour.

Aohi also loves to teach Jungwon English. She finds his aggressive English adorable, and she knows it’s a bit of a struggle to speak it because of Korean and English syllables and consonants clashing with each other.

“You kind of have to say sss, like a snake, instead of shh, because that way it won’t sound weird,” — “like.. seal?” — “yeah! Like that!”

To be fair, Aohi does teach most of the guys English, but Jungwon (and Sunghoon) Are the ones who go to her the most, I mean, Jay and Jake, sure they speak English, but they do troll with them most of the time.

Aohi’s guaranteed to teach them without the jokes and memes.

Aohi admires Jungwon’s ability to be a leader, and it’s what draws Aohi to Jungwon easily.

All in all, Jungwon’s a very devoted person to Aohi, while Aohi is the same for Jungwon, she’s just more shy about it.

But the boys don’t know that!

Okay, she actually doesn’t have favourites, but she goes the softest for Ni-ki, because, well, He was the first person to ever befriend her. (during her pre-debut days of course.)

Ri-ki’s never once fought with Aohi during their pre-debut and Aohi’s obviously going to baby Ri-ki because he is the maknae.

Ri-ki actually dislikes Aohi’s babying (as in, too frequently, babying him.)

Ri-ki prefers babying Aohi despite her being his noona.

His favourite thing to do? Collect plushies with Aohi, if Aohi has it, chances are Ri-ki has a matching one. Ri-ki treats them like his babies.

Ri-ki and Aohi spend most of their time window shopping plushies actually. Their current buy list consist of genshin plushies (in which Aohi forced Ri-ki to play) and some few Enhypen themed ones.

Aohi is very thankful that Ri-ki indulges in her childish purchases because it makes her relieved that Ri-ki wouldn’t judge her for buying things to heal her inner child.

Aohi and Ri-ki are also very prone to gaming together, usually it’s them and Sunoo, and Aohi mostly plays valorant with the two.

It’s surprising how good Ri-ki and Sunoo actually are at FPS games. Currently, their ranks are Ri-ki - High-Ascendant, Aohi - Immortal, Sunoo - Low Diamond.

Sunoo doesn’t play as much as the two evil twins do, but when he does, he plays pretty much better than diamonds do. (Only because he’s got Immortals and Ascendants teaching him.)

“YAH! RI-KI YAH! I TOLD YOU TO COVER ME!” — “I WAS LITERALLY FIGHTING HOOKAH.” — “you’re so poopoo..” — “hey, watch your language, I’m top-fragging missus immortal rank.”

When they aren’t being competitive though, they like to enjoy minecraft! Aohi has.. maybe one or more times burnt or exploded or drowned half of Ri-ki’s house.

Ri-ki and Aohi are actually ChromeHearts ambassadors, if not for Hoon and Jay, Ri-ki would be one of the most likely to be paired in a photoshoot with Aohi.

Aohi’s favourite thing to do with Ri-ki? Dance. She tries her best to help with Ri-ki’s dancing, always making up new things or joining Ri-ki whenever he wants to do a dance on tiktok.

Although dancing isn’t her strong suit, she still loves to do it!

“And then, maybe it could go like this- and then yeah!” — “wait you’re so smart I love that dance line.” — “right?” — “i’m so happy you’re my girlfriend.” — “okay relax mister smooth talk.”

Aohi loves to be childish around Ri-ki because she knows that Ri-ki will join her, and it gives her a break from being mature in front of many.

Aohi’s favourite favourite!

No, but really, she’s the favourite.

Xiulin and Aohi were the first to band together during pre-debut. They shared each other’s memories and experiences together.

Xiulin, despite being somewhat of an older sister figure to Aohi, likes to bicker a lot with the boys. Xiulin knows of their relationship and is one-hundred percent supportive! At some points…

Xiulin is very protective of Aohi because of well, their pre-debut. Aohi and Xiulin were pretty much cast aside because the boys had a hard time letting them into the group.

No matter though, Xiulin just likes to bully them because they know if there’s one person who gets most of Aohi’s time, it’s Xiulin.

Xiulin and Aohi are like two peas in a pod, if Aohi commits a crime, Xiulin is there with her.

Aohi’s whole thing with Xiulin is that she reminds her a lot of her older sister figures in XG, and that’s why Aohi likes to stick to Xiulin a lot more than any of the other boys.

Aohi and Xiulin are kind of like, each other’s opposites, yet equals. Despite Aohi’s tendency to lead after Jungwon, that’s just it for her, she follows the leader.

Xiulin is there to guide Aohi if Jungwon isn’t, and that eases Aohi’s heart.

Xiulin’s favourite thing to do with Aohi is play guitar together, Aohi didn’t actually know how to play the guitar until during the manifesto process.

Xiulin and Aohi would stay up together, just learning the stupidest riffs (like the SpongeBob theme) and laugh about it until their manager would bust them for staying up too late.

Aohi, absolutely adores Xiulin with all her heart, the boys believe she’s never looked at someone with such admiration before.

“Ah oppa! Xiulin-noona said, not to eat snacks before dinner..” — “Aohi, baby, you know Xiulin is younger than me…” — “Jake-hyung…” — “Ah.. okay, don’t call me hyung..”

Aohi’s favourite thing to do with Xiulin is paint together, Aohi’s an artistic spirit at heart, and sometimes that’s what she wants to do with her free time.

Although the boys join her from time to time, that doesn’t mean she’s really keen on letting them.

Sometimes painting time can be girl time, and with seven boyfriends? It’s definitely needed after a while.

“Gosh, you know Seungie-oppa? He keeps eating my chips! He won’t even buy them for me, he just sends me the money for it and is like ‘ sorry :9’ Like, that’s so rude!” — “Drop him for the day, bad boyfriend of the week!” — “you’re right!”

Aohi and Xiulin go hand in hand together, continuing to somehow… create chaos for their staff members and managers.

Aohi hopes to introduce Xiulin to her XG sisters one day.

A secret Xiulin holds is that she actually did like Aohi at one point, but ended up never pursuing her because well.. (let’s just say there was seven obstacles in the way.)

some fun facts about tgod:

it was like the second fic idea i ever came up with! i actually thought of it even before fight club but fight club started flowing first so i shelved it, and i'm glad i did because i feel like my fight scenes are so much better now. it was just too intimidating of an idea for me at first since back in 2022 i hadn't really written much fanfic ever

something i'm trying to do with both gaalees in characterisation with this fic is make them both sooooo gd awkward. like true cringefail at all hours. lets be so real do we all really think a former beast vessel turned president and a dude in a spandex suit and legwarmers are anything but so weird?

in particular i really REALLY wanted there to be two things: 1) the dichotomy of violent/inexplicably suave/hron hron baguette drunk lee versus nervous/awkward/insecure sober lee, and 2) sabaku no bloody social skills gaara. i hope that's coming across ok!

ok the language headcanons! i fully and unapologetically plagiarised all my headcanons from luna_lee on ao3 [@sagemoderocklee] who has so many incredible fics jfc but to expound on tgod specific ones

nishitsuchigo as a name breaks down into nishi 西 which according to google means west, tsuchi 土 which means soil, and suffix -go which i yoinked again from luna_lee lol

i originally designed this to be 6 chapters and thought it would be 60k? but my life is a joke and i'll probably crack 80k because i have to make an entire chapter of sexfucking and then an epilogue for Resolution sparkle sparkle

💠It was bound to happen, honestly. One day you let him get away with finishing inside you, and suddenly he didn't know what a condom was anymore! Not to mention this man can't pull out to save his life 😒 Not that you mind all that much in the moment... but you're pretty sure he doesn't think twice about the actual probability of getting you pregnant 🙄 So as soon as your period is late, you're pretty sure you know why.

💠Maybe you're overreacting! Sometimes it's late and nothing ever comes of it! But when you wait two weeks and only wake up with nausea every morning instead of a period... well, hopefully the only one throwing up in the toilet will be Tony

💠It suddenly feels a bit weird walking into his house so normally. Walking by his parents as you always have and finding Tony nearly asleep in his bed. You hadn't exactly warned him that you were stopping by, and when the first words out of your mouth are a nervous "Can we talk?" , he's wide awake, and already knows he's done something

💠Luckily you don't let his mind race for long. "Tony, I think I'm pregnant."

💠Oh, so that's what he did...

💠"You-" he cuts himself off, still processing and slowly getting to his feet. "Okay, uh-" You've broken him. He doesn't know what to do, he doesn't know what to say first. He can't think and he hasn't decided what to feel yet but neither have you, so- "I can go get, like, a test? Or something?" He says it quietly, eyes wide and confused. At least he knows he's just as much a part of this as you are. He's trying to help, really. It probably feels like he's been gone for ages when he leaves. He probably has been! Maybe you shouldn't have trusted him to find a pregnancy test, but you'd rather not do any of this alone.

💠You're more than relived when he slinks back in, bag in hand, and you can only hope his parents didn't see anything suspicious. And thank god it's actually a pregnancy test in the bag- you never doubted him! He doesn't take his eyes off you as you rip the box open and take out that little stick, and he realizes that he never thought he'd be in this situation.

💠You're quietly cuddled up on the bed while you wait for however many minutes the box said. You're both stiff and unmoving, unsure what to feel or think because neither of you are communicating. But you're well aware of the strong arms wrapped around you so perfectly, right above your hips.

💠"Do you want me to go look at it?" He mumbles quietly. You nod. Again, it's not something you're willing to face alone, but he's already proven that you don't have to. And again, he keeps you waiting. Surely even he can figure out the difference between one line or two! Just when you sit up at the edge of the bed, ready to do it yourself, he finally emerges. He takes your hands in his, and you're pretty sure you already know the answer when you look up at him.

💠"It was positive," he whispers. "What do you wanna do?"

💠You can hardly whisper back. "What if I wanna keep it?" You weren't sure what to expect from him, but he nodded. His short sigh of relief and small smile released all the tension in your body, letting you smile for the first time since you found out. You had been happy about it, but not knowing what Tony would think was nervewracking.

💠After the initial shock wears off, you're both all smiles and kisses, and at some point he's trapped you against the bed in an engulfing hug, face buried in your neck.

💠You'll both agree that you might want to wait to tell anyone. At least to get an ultrasound first and prepare a game plan, but as soon as Tony sees that little blob on the screen and it has a heartbeat?? He's more than ready to tell his mom all about it 😍

💠But Tony will admit to you that he's a bit wary of his dad :( It's just... Howard was once smacking RC cars out of an eight-year-old Tony's hands and yelling at him to play with his toys somewhere else, and even now the two are still known for their altercations-- especially now that Tony has to very quickly learn how to actually grow up (and he doesn't even know about this yet). You can't really blame him, but you're pretty sure that his father wouldn't do that to his grandson. But it's not just that, he's pretty sure telling his dad that you're pregnant is going to end in very loud conversation between the two, and he doesn't want to stress you out :(

💠When you do finally decide you're ready, he's by your side and holding your hand. Honestly, he's probably the one that says it first!

💠Maria is probably squealing in delight and pulling you both in for a hug! Honestly she's always happy and excited for anything, so she'll be your biggest support through the pregnancy, and she'll probably be pulling out all of Tony's old pictures on the spot 🧡 If you ever have any questions or concerns, she's more than willing to hear you out- hell, if you think a doctor isn't listening to you but you're too passive to keep pushing the issue, just bring her along to your next appointment and she'll sort 'em out! And probably recommend someone else. The same midwives that delivered her son will most likely deliver her grandson, too 😅

💠Howard and Tony never see eye to eye anyway, and considering he's always on his ass about being irresponsible and lazy and childish, you can probably imagine exactly how not excited he is about this. He's not upset at you, but with Tony for knocking you up when you're both hardly 20, and his son isn't exactly ideal father material in a parent's eyes. While you and Maria are happily conversing in the living area, Howard manages to get Tony in the backyard for a stern but surprisingly respectful conversation, and a begrudging hand on his shoulder in place of a hug. Well, it still went better than he thought it would...

💠Don't worry, he'll will warm up to the idea of grandchildren (mostly with his wife's persistent excitement), but he may not really show it. Instead, Maria will let you know when it was actually Howard who picked out that little outfit or had the idea to have those quilts made 😌

💠Your parents might not be so excited at first, either. Tony's probably only just graduated college and hardly has a plan, but at least he comes from plenty of money? And with all that skill and name he can find a job anywhere if he just, ya know, actually tried 😅 It's obvious that he is taking responsibility and has always been by your side, so... they'll get past it! And poor Tony might have to get through yet another awkward conversation, but this time with your dad. Your dad is already a lot more supportive, at least, and just as you can turn to his mom for comfort and advice, Tony can turn to your dad 🥹

💠And we can't forget about Jarvis since he practically did the other half of Tony's raising 🥺 He won't really break the whole "calm butler" persona, but he's proudly smiling ear to ear when he says "Congratulations, sir." While he can rest assured that this time he won't have to chase down another Tony every day nor raise this one, he does miss having a little Stark around to wreak havoc 💛

💠There's suddenly a ton of things on his to-do list, but he's making a house his number one priority (with the help of that Stark money... What? His parents aren't gonna make you guys live just anywhere 💅). While someone's parents probably wouldn't mind, Tony really wants his own privacy for his own family, ya know? But he won't say no to his mom staying over for that first week or two to help you guys out 😮‍💨

💠He's like one of those cats that suddenly never leave their owner's side when they're pregnant. When you start showing, he can't keep his hands off of you! Well, he couldn't really keep his hands off you before (hence the situation you're in), but he just wants to be near you! Wherever you go, he wants to go too! Whatever you want, he wants to try really hard to get it for you! He also just really wants to make sure you know he's there for you, and can and will do anything! He's pretty worried that his dad is right and that he's not exactly an ideal candidate to be raising a kid, and worried that you might feel the same :( So he overcompensates by being overbearing. He even follows you into the shower! It will get annoying, but try not to snap at him too hard unless you want him to sulk around. His mom will probably notice and get on his ass about it before you do anyway 😅

💠You can already trust him to be a great dad, though! Already so protective and worried, and still so in love with you, if not more!

💠A hand is always on your tummy because he really really really wants to feel the baby kick! Everyone talks about how you can feel the baby kicking, so why isn't his little Stark kicking him yet?? Even you've talked about it, but it might be another week before he gets his chance 💔 He'll be so excited when he does feel those fluttering kicks! You always get to feel those signs of life, so it's the closest he can get to sharing that experience until your due date.

💠Besides, of course, getting to hear the heartbeat and getting those black and white ultrasounds! Speaking of which, he has to show off every photo the nurse takes of little Stark! Aaaand while your parents have the cuter ones of your son sucking his thumb or waving pinned to the fridge, Tony puts up the one where that little hand only has a middle finger raised 🫥

💠Okay it is kinda cute...

💠The closer you get to nine months and the more nervous he gets. He's also excited! But he realizes he barely ever learned how to take care of himself, and now he has to look after you and a baby?? He was so caught up in the excitement for so long, and now it feels like reality is crashing down very hard and he doesn't know what to do because he doesn't want to stress you out and he doesn't want to get yelled at and-

💠You're fast asleep in an array of pillows and half in-half out of the sheets. You don't seem so worried. He has to take a deep breath and remind himself that if you aren't worried, then he shouldn't be either. You're the one that's been putting all your love and trust into him, even before you got pregnant. He doesn't know if that makes him more or less stressed, but he knows you'll make him feel better with no questions asked ❤️‍🩹

💠You can't really be mad when he "accidentally" wakes you up on some nights because he's crawling his way under your arms and tucking himself under your chin. Or when you suddenly have him lying on your chest and tiny feet kicking your ribs. As much fun as it's been (and nervewracking), these nights will have you more than ready for your due date.

💠He doesn't really know what to expect in that delivery room, but he follows you in anyway and awkwardly switches between standing around and sitting. It's... boring. No one told him there would be so much waiting around! He was prepared for like, an instant nightmare, but instead you're just easing in and out of contractions or something? Ah, this doesn't seem so bad!

💠He's half-way through one of those kind of gross Jell-O cups and half asleep when you're suddenly very panicked and nurses are finally moving around. And now he has an oh shit moment as the nightmare part starts.

💠He should hold your hand! That's what they do in the movies, right? Well it sounds like a good idea, but ow you're really hurting him but he doesn't want you to know that, so he'll stand there like he's perfectly fine 😭 Thank god once it starts, it's over just as quick because he couldn't have taken any more of that

💠Ngl he's standing at your side and sulking into his Jell-O while the baby cries, and luckily you're too out of it to slap him for it 🤧

💠The spoon is still in his mouth when he's suddenly asked and ushered over to cut the cord and he probably gags a little, but it's fine, this is his son, and this is like- what everyone talks about and stuff sooo

💠Okay, now it's over. Baby is safe in your arms, and you don't seem to be in pain anymore, so now he can relax again with the quieter room, and now it's just the two of you again- well, three now ❤

💠This was the last thing he expected to happen ever, much less right now, but... he honestly can't believe it happened with you. He's glad it's with you. Maybe he's not so much of a fuck-up, after all, if you're still here, and holding his son, no less. He's more than a little nervous when you finally ask him if he wants to hold the baby in your arms. He looks really comfy and Tony would surely ruin that and- okay, he doesn't really get a choice here, does he? You're obviously very tired and deserve some rest without worrying about keeping a newborn in your arms, so it's time for dad to finally step in!

💠He's so small, head already full of dark hair and that nose is unmistakably Tony's. He accidentally stirs him awake when he brushes his thumb over that little nose and soft cheek. Tony goes into full panic mode, trying to quietly shush him and apologizing as if he'll understand. Suddenly he's met with big brown eyes curiously looking around and widely looking up at him. And if anyone is crying, it's Tony 🥹

💠Both your parents are probably waiting around outside, and have been for a while, but... you're finally asleep, and honestly he just wants a little more time for himself. No one will mind a few more minutes 😌

Insanity & Infected ramble ig?? (more so hcs and stuff)

I need everyone to know how much this duo has changed my brain chemistry as well as my life /j

RAMBLE AFTER CUT!

Insanity and Infected lack empathy and are clinically insane, so you’d obviously think it’d be hard for them to even care for each other.

Yeah, you’re right lol.

It took them a while (mainly because Insanity kept jumping Infected at any given chance instead of actually talking to him) to care for each other in their own way. It’s subtle sometimes, then other times everyone is unsure if they do even care about the other’s well being.

Insanity is more prone to stay by Infected’s side instead of wondering off mid conversation. Hell, he sometimes stops himself from doing something if Infected finds it boring (if Infected finds it boring, so does Insanity?). He notices when Infected stops moving at the mention of a certain name. He doesn’t ask, since Insanity has a vague idea already. Sometimes, he’d call out his name, to see if Infected reacts. Insanity finds himself to be at his calmest when he’s with Infected. He doesn’t know why. I mean, he still does his usual, just he’s more comfortable to do so around Infected. Maybe, it’s the fact Infected doesn’t nag him, scold him, or even hold him back like countless AUs have tried. Instead, he just watches him with a small smile, joining him if he feels like it. Or maybe, it’s the times where they eat ice cream, after lighting an ice cream van on fire, that put Insanity at (somewhat) ease.

Infected found Insanity’s clinginess towards him annoying at first. But, he soon grew attached. Infected is more of a listener, more specifically, he likes to hear Insanity ramble. Sometimes, he finds himself repeating whatever Insanity has said to him, when he’s alone. At times, it might seem like Infected is bullying Insanity (not actual bullying - Infected just speaks/interacts harshly with Insanity), but this is just his way of showing some care to Insanity (poor guy doesn’t know how to show actual care because Alphatale lore - I’m lazy sorry). He often plans when they should hang out, not really where, since the both of them don’t really care. Infected doesn’t really remember when he started expecting Insanity’s visits. When he started to count down the days, the hours, the minutes, the seconds. Or when he began to talk to Insanity more, instead of just listening.

Then there are the times where they act “normal”.

Visiting peaceful AUs (when Insanity isn’t covered in blood, or holding a head), eating ice cream, sharing experiences or stories, making puns, etc.

Normally, neither would enjoy these things but, with each other it’s a whole different story.

Infected sometimes hears a thought at the back of his head when he’s having fun with Insanity.

“Is this what could’ve been, with them?”

Sometimes, he’d end up finding himself in the middle of a really loose hug, or his hand laying on Insanity’s head after the thought (head pats lol). He doesn’t know why.

Insanity does. He wouldn’t tell him though. He finds a weird comfort in this (bro is touch starved but doesn’t know that - same with Infected).

Essentially, they’ve built up a familial connection with each other. Seeing each other as family.

(More so Infected, as he views Insanity as a younger sibling, because his actual family barely interact with him outside of fighting the guy)

so sorry that this took so long for me to get to! a lot happened in the past few days lol.

So i’m going to start with but daddy I love him. This is a Will song but more of Solangelo through his lens! the overall idea i think of is how will is like the perfect kind healer. most of camp who doesn’t exactly know him just views him as a kinda normal guy when he’s really a lot more complex then that. Now onto the main idea of the song as people viewing different people as a stain that will dirty the people they’ve viewed as perfect. and i think that this is what would have happened with nico and will after they revealed they were together (i don’t accept the tsats confession scene and i belive they were secretly together for around a month until then) everyone still thought of nico as that weird dangerous hades kid (and just when they were friends in general.) some people depict it as nico arriving and staying and everyone just automatically loves him when it would take a few months for people to see how good of a person he is, especially with how quiet he is and how “odd” he is (this is because of his autism but that’s for another day.) I feel like some people may have tried to stop will from seeing nico, such as distracting him with tasks or other things because they disapproved of nico “they slammed the door on my whole world” for example. “screaming but daddy i love him!” is a funny example of things will would actually say when defending nico (as he should) people wouldn’t listen to him for a while. also the “i’m having his baby” line is while will can’t have kids (in my hcs he’s cis)(nico isn’t tho 😈) but the principle of it is others thinking a relationship is moving too fast. and with how hopelessly in love nico and will are they would probably think that they’re moving way too quickly when really they just love each other (they said i love you the minute they confessed okay…) “i know he’s crazy but he’s the one i want” will can accept that his boyfriend is a little gremlin sometimes and is proud of it‼️ and “he was chaos he was revelry” personally i don’t think nico is all that chaotic most of the time but i guess the whole secret relationship and how he’s just different from others could be portrayed through that. and how will had only really reacted with the “basic” campers at chb who had personalities sure but they weren’t as much of a mystery as nico was. “Soon enough the elders had convened Down at the city hall "Stay away from her" The saboteurs protested too much

J x Stupid! Worker drone Reader hcs

My 17 request! Hope you like!

Lmao- This will be interesting-

First of all, we have to take a closer look at you, a worker drone that besides being stupid…likes adrenaline? So you didn't expect it, did you? (J much less lmao-)

J was just on another one of her hunting nights, when she heard a scream, but that was weird… since she was the only disassembly drone that had gone that way..so she peeked out from behind a car, seeing just you there with a piece of metal stuck in your arm. (What the hell were you doing out there by yourself? Barbecuing yourself for they?)

J was a little confused by the situation in front of her, but soon shook it off, soon showing her toothy smile and X's only eye. But the unexpected happened, you noticed her and simply said:

" Oh! Hello pretty lady! Could you help me please? I kinda got impaled.. " You said looking at her giving a goofy smile.

" What the… " J spoke confused losing her smile looking at you. (She honestly thought you were mentally damaged-)

Somehow you managed to convince J not to kill you, even if she really wanted to, there was something that stopped her…maybe because your stupidity was entertainment for her. (Maybe also because for the first time she felt sorry for someone, but she wouldn't admit it-)

You're constantly full of bandages and bandages, and you proudly show them to J even though she calls you "a stupid and reckless worker drone" in her own words.

And as time goes by J finds herself worrying more about you, like:

One day J was sitting in a car just watching you snowboard, when you had the bright idea to climb a mountain of scrap metal that was there..J didn't want to show that she cared and was worried about you, so she kept quiet. But there it was a little sour expression on her face watching you climb higher and higher.

" Hey J! Look at that! " You called out in a determined tone from the top of the mountain, starting to descend before J could react.

More as expected...everything went wrong! You started going down that scrap heap, which soon proved to be a mistake as you couldn't control your snowboard properly, which caused you to fall and roll down the mountain, and then before you landed completely on the ground J caught you bridal style staring at you with an angry face.

" You're never going to snowboard again got it?! " J shouted approaching your faces, which you blushed.

" Y-yes ma'am! " You stammered giving a silly kitten embarrassed smile.

" Tch.. stupid worker drone.. " J muttered irritably to herself feeling her cheeks flush.

After that day J would always have a worry in the back of her mind, wondering what you could be doing when she's not around. (Worried J is kinda cute-)

If you asked J out on a date she would even accept it, but you have to keep in mind that for that you would have to give her some oil. (The best way to win someone over is through the belly, at least that's what they said lol-)

I imagine J would blush a lot if you kissed her hands or gave her pecks on the lips for some reason.

If J wanted to show affection, I think she would definitely rub your back and patt you on the head.

J would let you lay on her shoulder and lap if you gave her puppy eyes. (You were the only who made her puppy dog eyes and it worked-)

Appearance idea

Conveniently I was asked about this by various people before (unrelated to this ask game), so I'm going to take and adapt my summaries from there -

Eönwë's "default" is a mostly humanoid form, basically model "standard angel man". Unlike Manwë's "airiness" he has the muscles, bone structure and just overall mass appropriate for a male humanoid warrior and is therefore significantly heavier and physically stronger than other wind spirits. He also has a pair of (physical) wings that are capable of flight and it looks like he has a pair of small wings as ears, but in actuality he has normal Elven ears that just have feathers on them (and they can emote). He also usually has humanoid legs and feet (to fit into boots and such).

His feathers are white with the occasional golden, brown or black spots, his hair is white golden/pale blonde and curly (inspired by cherubs, since it's my hc that depictions of angels in Middle-earth are based on Eönwë) and his eyes are usually sky/azure blue.

When dealing with fallen/evil Eönwë or him being so enraged he loses his shit, I swap this palette, giving him yellow/orange eyes (like raptors have, though you can also imagine Sith eyes if you want lol) and his skin, hair and feathers all have an eerie, cold blue tint, basically highlighting the wind spirit, storm and bird of prey angle instead of the angel angle (haha).

Fanon idea I've adopted

That's a bit difficult to tell. Not because I think I'm the master of all things Eönwë who has come up with everything herself or any bs like that, but rather because I've loved him and read and written about him for so many years that it's hard to remember which ideas came when and from where.

I suppose one idea that I can say with relative certainty came from fanon is him having a close relationship with Finarfin, as well as having a relationship with/connection to Maglor. Both of these I've since picked up on in my own writing or am planning to pick up on in future projects and want to expand on.

Favorite friendship/platonic relationship with Eönwë

I'll preface this by stating real quick that with a lot of relationships it's fic and verse dependent whether I write them as platonic or romantic so if you see me talk about some relationships here and write them as romantic pairings another day I wasn't lying to you, I'm just trying out something new/doing requests😆

So one is definitely Ilmarë. I talked about her relationship with Eönwë more in depth in another response yesterday, so I'll keep it brief here: I like them as work besties, being in the weird position where everyone expects them to date, but they aren't really interested in that. In verses where I ship Ilmarë with Arien Eönwë is also very supportive of them, disregarding any feelings he might have - he just wants the girlies to be happy.

I also have to explore Manwë and Eönwë platonically more, I'm now realizing, but I'll get to do that soon with a Lost Tales based fic (which means that Manwë will be his Papanwë in that one). Cute!

Another friendship I like for Eönwë is Olórin. I see them growing closer post-War of Wrath, not least because Irmo and Nienna saw that Eönwë was struggling and decided to sic one of their emotional support Maiar on him. When Olórin dies in battle against the Balrog, Eönwë is absolutely devastated, wishing he could've helped him.

Oooo I read your hcs on Jeremy and Waylon dynamic and a bit of an idea sorta came up, it’s a little unrelated but… Do you think Jer would see Miles as some sort of replacement for Waylon and try to go after him? That could happen if we're taking the desperate route hahaha though I feel like Miles can replace Rick rather than Waylon, since they're both kinda similar, in a way. So basically RickJer is the rich and spoiled version of camerashipping.

So, if the thing with Miles really happens, I think he'd just give everything up and put up a thick wall and just do something by himself. It's up to Miles if he wants to get closer to him or not (huge possibility by the way, Miles is just THAT adamant sometimes, mainly because Jer is a former one of the leaders of a shady transnational company, and he wants to know more about Murkoff)

So, to put it simply following this anon's question...

It's nothing climatic tbh. He doesn't lash out or anything like that. It's just... When you knew a person would do something bad to you before they do it, and the thing really happens in the future, you feel almost numb about them. It’s juft poof all the positive and even negative feelings are gone. “I’m not surprised, but I’m still mad” kinda feeling?

He's met people with various personalities, he can predict how people would react and act based on their personalities alone. I think a lot about Jer and it's really embarrassing......

My take on him is pretty boring and weird, I guess? Jeremy never actually... Feel the need to befriend/love someone, he didn't expect to have one so soon - it was just that Rick and Waylon happened to be people who were close to him, so he made some efforts into their relationship, expected something more from them in return, since he trusted them. Rather than mourning over people who betrayed him, he's frustrated over the things he had sacrificed in exchange for their companionship; All the money, all the covering efforts, all the emotions, the sentiments, etc, etc, are all wasted on people like them. It's not like he's close close with them either, they're pretty much just friends with benefits to putting it in summary lol

One of my friends described it so much better but unfortunately I don't remember how he worded it so bear with me anon I'm sorry, When Jeremy watches as Rick was sent to the engine, he doesn't feel sad. Rick wasn't his friend, but he feels like something is missing - something about it made him feel betrayed - probably betrayed by himself... Even the feeling itself disturbs him because even he couldn't pinpoint what was causing it. It's between "I'm completely fine even if you die" and "I wish you were here" to put it simply. I know I'm sorry if your brain exploded there,,, emotions are complicated tbh

So... it's not really like Jer isn't capable of human emotions, but rather, it's more complicated because he views emotions as something to be suppressed because they can weaken you. Showing emotions makes him vulnerable, thus making him pile up emotions and complicates stuff because he doesn't even understand himself.

after the initial awkwardness of being in a new relationship fades and you two become comfortable with each other, a relationship with isagi would be like dating your slightly awkward best friend who you make out with sometimes.

like, i don’t really see isagi being high maintenance, so i feel like a relationship with him would definitely be on the relaxed side, but still romantic, you know?

isagi’s inner monologue is so funny and he definitely lets his thoughts out to you. it makes you laugh to see your usually friendly-to-all boyfriend have his moments, too.

you guys are one of those couples that give each other a look when someone’s doing something weird in public #telepathicconnection <3

but, isagi’s really such a sweetie with you. i know user isagisyoichi may be slightly biased when they say this, but believe me when i say that isagi’s 100% boyfriend material.

walks you to class whenever he can. always either holding your hand as he listens attentively to you complaining about school.

writes down things he feels are important about you in a digital note entitled “y/n 💗,” so he can remember them in the future.

swallowing hard and taking a breath, isagi says, “y-yeah, when we get married,” further affirming his statement with a nod, albeit a bit of a nervous one.

now both of you guys are flustered LOL.

likes to sit his head in your lap and have you play with his hair, while you two talk or just sit in silence.

such a good listener, perfect person to rant about anything with. he’s very understanding, he’ll hold you if you need him to, wipe your tears if you’re crying, give you advice if you need it, just overall so sweet.

also always knows when you're sad because of his intuition. isagi encourages you to open up to him, but ultimately doesn’t force you, just lets you know that he’s always there for you <3

(that's kind of lie because isagi does pry a little LOL, but he means well)

takes care of you! nags you a little, tries his best to make sure you're not doing anything stupid, and if you are, that someone responsible (him) is watching you, looks after you when you’re sick, etc.

gives you his jacket when you’re cold (he’s been waiting to do that his whole life bro LMAOO), carries your things, always texts you good morning and good night, just overall sooo good to you.

but as soft as he is for you, isagi does have this tendency to get these random spouts of confidence, so sometimes he’ll say or do something really bold out of nowhere.

like, he’ll suddenly grab your waist and pull you closer to him, or he’ll kiss you out of the blue. the flustered expression that rests on your face for a change always makes him smirk *heart eyes*

in general, though, isagi's still kind of awkward sometimes regardless and does say or do things that make you go "???" and make him be like "why did i do that" LOL he's so cute though <333

he’s pretty basic with dates, usually opts for things like restaurants, walks in the parks, movie nights, or stuff like that, but they’re still really fun!

but, if you ever want to do something out of the norm, he wouldn't be opposed to it, either. but, you do have to tell him ‘cause he's not a mind reader lol.

he keeps his hand on your thigh when you guys cuddle that day, tracing patterns on your skin, or just squeezing it every now and then.

in general, though, isagi likes poking at and playing with them whenever they're out <3

once, isagi wanted you to do that trend on tiktok where he sits between your thighs and stuff, but he had no idea how to bring it up LOL

so, isagi just watched tiktoks of it in front of you and hoped eventually you would get the hint 🙄

admittedly, the effort is cute, but beloved, i hate to break it to you- i will not be doing anything of the sort.

he will sit down or walk around with you after you finish the mile, though. if he’s not already playing soccer lollll.

when he does choose to go with you, expect exclamations from the team about how isagi “abandoned us for his little relationship” 👎

isagi’s receiving love language is words of affirmation (also basically canon LOL) so, he really values the compliments you give him with his whole heart.

you could tell him how his hair looks nice in the morning, and isagi will think about it all day.

whether it be about how cute he is, or how talented of a player he is, isagi really is happiest when you praise him <3

speaking of soccer, isagi has this tendency to get lost in the moment and talk your head off about some soccer related tangent that probably makes no sense to you.

his eyes light up and his voice is just oozing with passion for what he does as he goes into detail about how he made this crazy goal at practice while you stare at him with the biggest heart eyes ever, adoring his dedication.

and of course when isagi realizes he was rambling, he apologizes profusely for “boring” you, like the gentleman he is.

but when you reassure him that he could never bore you and that you want nothing more than for him to go on, isagi begins to feels lightheaded due to his adoration for you <3

if you're the type to go all out when it supporting isagi at soccer- like make one of those corny signs, yell from the crowd, wear his spare jersey to games, isagi will physically have to withhold his heart from jumping out his chest.

he's a little embarrassed that you're doing all that for him, but the effort means soooo much to him.

and speaking of soccer, it would mean a lot to isagi if you not only supported him at games and stuff, but expressed an interest in learning more about soccer as a whole, too.

you know, learn a little more about the game on your own accord, ask him to teach you how to properly play, or even challenge him to a one on one, do stuff like that, and he’ll literally be head over heels for you. well, more than he already is.

(he always goes easy on you on your guys 1v1's and he thinks your efforts are adorable, no matter how much you may or may not suck)

he'd repay the effort and try to get interested in whatever your hobbies are!

also, you can get him to do almost anything if you pout and beg hard enough, you’re literally so hard to say no to in isagi’s eyes <3

isagi’s the type to not realize when other people are flirting with him LOL

he just thinks they’re being nice (unless they’re being straight up) and i don’t think he would really process it because he’s so focused on you romantically, if that makes sense.

once he realizes you’re jealous, isagi apologizes earnestly, reassuring you over and over again that you're everything he could ask for and that he would never intentionally try to hurt you and all that jazz.

although, i will admit, sometimes isagi’s kinda smug when you're jealous, especially when it’s over a dumb reason 👎

however, when he’s jealous i feel like it could go one of two ways-

on normal days, isagi would just stand there to “intimidate” the other person, maybe cough a little for emphasis until they go away lol.

but on days where he’s already mad/filled with adrenaline/or someone’s really not taking a hint and you’re visibly uncomfortable- oh boy, it’s like a switch flips in him.

has those same fiery eyes he has during the climax of a game. the energy he’s exuding is dead serious, and that alone is enough for the person bothering you to go away. not bad for a man that’s only 5’8 🥰

adding on, isagi doesn’t take any shit about you, ever. even if it’s from his friends. usually isagi’s very neutral and doesn’t actively try to start conflict, but there are some things he’ll always defend and you’re one of them.

isagi always listens/watches/reads/etc whatever you recommend him (on that note, please recommend him good anime because isagi’s out here willingly telling people his favorite anime is darling in the franxx), even if he doesn’t necessarily like it LOL

you could show isagi objectively, the worst song ever and he would be like “yeah, it was good babe!” (it was not)

also does the same thing when you bring him shopping with you, like he's absolutely NO HELP 😭

you could try on the ugliest sweater known to man and he’d like “you look nice 🙂” pls be honest isagi, you can say it’s hideous!!!!!!

but isagi’s also being somewhat truthful in his statement because he does genuinely think you look nice in everything <3

also loves when you wear his clothes- always feels a mixture between pride and slight shyness?

kinda lol idk but overall, isagi really is sooo happy you wanna show him off that much, especially when you're wearing something of his around his friends :')

he says “i love you” first, no doubt.

he’s a bit nervous when he does because he doesn’t know if you’ll reciprocate, but he really does love you and he feels like he physically can’t hold it in anymore.

Black Butler x Snowday

Here we are again lol. On my page I also did the same concept but for Jujutsu Kaisen, Fire Force and My Hero Academia. Master List

Sebastian- Its not that Sebastian inherently doesn’t like snow, but it is a hard thing to enjoy when it makes his job tedious. Ciel is constantly complaining about ice and he can’t ask the servants to take care of the snow drifts. They’d more likely set the manor on fire (again) before picking up a proper shovel. Except Finnian. He tries, kind of. As soon as Sebastian felt the beginnings of a storm he began prep. Making warm foods, laying salts and stocking cocoa ingredients. He takes every moment he can with you during the storm, but the most attention comes during your bath that night. He heats the water as hot as you can take it, sits behind you and helps detangle your hair and takes care to dote on you properly. He's also set a towel next to the fire to be warm and fluffy for you afterwards. What else do you expect from the best.

Claude- This man is in a similar boat to Sebastian, but Alois is very... excitable during storms where ciel would rather stay in and play chess. Claude is watching the child barrel around the courtyard throwing snowballs at the triplets. He keeps your attention with smaller less visible acts. Keeping a heated rice pack beneath your duvet cover, switching your cotton clothes for fleece. But on the day of a particularly bad storm its not completely out of the question that he- helps alois get some much needed sleep so he can take you to a corner of the manor and spend some proper- quality time. This is definitely done on a fur pelt before a fire.

Undertaker- Overall winter is his busiest time of year. Dying is a year round activity, but winter is when humans tend to utilize his services most. It would take some convincing to take him away from his work, but one thing never fails. Comedy strips in the newspaper and warm drinks. I have a very weird and morbid HC that he has a decked out coffin as a sofa so you two are hulled up in the base of a coffin reading comedy over frothy drinks.

Grell(red)- It does not take a lot to pull Red from her work. A sly look and this lady is putty in your hands. I feel Red is so down to go ice skating and cuddle near a fire. I feel like spice is inevitable during this time, but during such a quiet time, taking you feels warmer than usual. def expect some snow mischief afterwards though. Red can get really competitive during snowball fights, but if you can keep up it’s a fun time.

William- Not a snow guy, but for a weird reason I feel like his time in the circus gave him a love for live theater. I feel like he’d book tickets for times such as there where he knows most people won’t be going to the theaters. He’s drape his coat over your shoulders, sharing a playbill of acts between you. Usually you watch accompanied by a warm bourdon and cider and Carmel corn.

A Random Mix of Michael Myers HCs

- MICHAEL HEADBUTTS AS A FORM OF AFFECTION. Not like the full on forehead slamming kind, I mean the very soft cat-like kind. But yes. He will bump his forhead against yours very gently to tell you he loves you. I will die with this headcanon.

- He’s clingy but he hates it. He will wrap himself all around you like an octopus when you’re sleeping, but as soon as he’s awake he’s gonna be out of the bed before you can open your eyes and see him being soft.

- This is so weird and specific but I witnessed this moment between my grandparents and it’s been sitting in the back of my brain banging pots and pans together for two weeks If you’re ever cooking and you’re at risk of burning yourself (like if you’re holding out a spoon and you’re about to spill the liquid in it) he will absolutely reach out and let himself get burnt to keep it from getting on you :((((

- When he decides he loves you, expect the most ridiculous pattern of kindness and avoidance to appear. He’ll like, randomly do the laundry for you while you’re busy, and then he’ll leave the house until you go to bed to avoid you thanking him.

- If you do manage to catch him mid-escape attempt and thank him, his shoulders will tense up and he’ll hit you with a look that screams ‘I have no idea what you’re talking about, unhand me you fool’ but he will absolutely think about your smile and sweet words for the next, like, week.

- If you own a cat, congratulation on adopting a second one! He’ll act like he hates the cat at first, but before long they’ll be best buddies, and you’ll walk into the den one day to find them giving you identical unamused looks.

- He puts milk in his bowl before cereal. I just know it.

- Michael will absolutely not celebrate Halloween with you, but he will hand out candy to trick-or-treaters. How sweet, right? WRONG, he’s only doing it because he knows most of the kids will run screaming from him, and he’ll get all the candy to himself.

- His favourite thing to do in the entire world besides stab things is sit in the same room as you and just enjoy your presence. Even if you think you’re completely alone, he’s more than likely somehwere just outside your view, just enjoying your existence.

- He is an absolute space heater, so you know he needs several fans in the bedroom when it gets warm out. But don’t expect him to stay on his side of the bed in the summer, no no no. He will cuddle the hell out of you, even if it’s 37°

- Wanna see the crabby man be soft for a little bit? Give him a shoulder massage. WARN HIM FIRST OR HE’S GONNA BREAK YOUR HAND OUT OF SHEER REFLEX!! But give him some TLC and for the next half an hour, it’s like an entirely different person is in your house. Inspired by that....first time Mac drunk, first time Maya drunk

(lol at HCs inspired by my own bad choices last night)

- the first time Mac gets drunk he's only 17... and out with exactly the group of 'friends' Amy and Jake hate because they're more trouble than they're worth. He doesn't exactly like them, but there is just this draw of the forbidden that he's too interested in :/

- 'luckily' they only get some beer and a bottle of whiskey from a really bad bodega and sit around in a playground like hoodlums do, and Mac ends up drinking too much whiskey because he's never really had hard liquor before (Jake lets him try some of his beer once in a while to prevent exactly what is happening right now - have him try alcohol without supervision and help...)

- he thinks it's all kind of fun and being drunk feels weird but after a while he gets a really bad feeling, this gut-feeling or premonition that shit's about to go down soon enough, the more his 'friends' talk about doing something. He excuses himself to go pee behind some trees or whatever and digs out his phone

- he calls Rosa. Because as drunk as he is he's still clear enough to NOT call his parents with this shit going on and his voice all slurred. Rosa only hears "I fucked up, I really wanna go home RoRo" and immediately gets him to send a location a few yards away from the others and picks him up still in her PJs

- he looks all teary-eyed and like he's 5 years old again in her passenger seat, so she can't really scold him, but she does give him the hardest pill to swallow: "Listen Mac, I've kept a lot of secrets for you. And I will keep more secrets in the future for you. But with this, I have to tell your parents."

- she doesn't drive him home, though, just takes him back to her place and lets him sleep in her guest bed while she calls Jake. Mac wakes up with a pounding headache, some coffee waiting for him, and the news that half of his 'friends' have been arrested for trying to break into the bodega they got their alcohol from after it closed.

- "Your dad's gonna pick you up in an hour, so you can take a shower and have some breakfast first." "Sure, lemme be clean and fed before I get killed." "Actually he's pretty fucking proud of ya kid." "What?! For what?? Breaking the law, my parents rules, and almost into a bodega??" "For being mature enough to see something was going wrong, and picking the best option to get out of it and get help."

- that's pretty much what Jake tells him on the drive home, too. I mean he's still grounded and Amy's thinking up what other punishment he gets right now, but also, yes, kind of good job, bud. He was only worried for a split second when Rosa called because he then immediately realised that Mac called Rosa for help, and there's really no better thing he could've done.

- Mac is so confused about it all because he was obviously expecting the talking-to of the century from both Jake and Amy, but his mom only hugs him when he comes in (and asks Jake if he's already told him about the grounding) before she shuffles his hungover butt onto the couch and feeds him mashed potatoes with ketchup, mayo and fried onions the way Jake always needs when he's hungover.

- and maybe Mac feels a little bit like crying and a little bit like sleeping until it's all over but most of all he feels very grateful for his parents and his aunt who'll always have his back no matter what. And he definitely doesn't drink until it's legal again, and actually ends up being the guy in his friends group at college that everyone else will call for help if they need it.

- Maya's first time getting drunk actually happens at Mac's college when she's 19. She'd told Jake+Amy she was visiting him for the weekend just for fun, but she's actually a little bit heartbroken over a crush/date/not-quite-boyfriend and needs some Mac-comfort.

- He just takes her to the local college pub with his friends to get her mind off of it, and it works really well, and he lets her sneak a beer or two into their order the way he used to sneak Halloween sweets into her bag when they were little. (The place doesn't card too well. It's college.)

- but a beer or two for tiny Maya with clearly Amy's constitution in her genes is a beer or two too much. First she ends up on the dancefloor with some of Mac's female friends, then she ends up ON the dancefloor and Mac has to pick her up. She LOVES everyone she's met that night and keeps telling them so and they all find Mac's little sister adorable.

- at some point she falls asleep in the booth and then wakes up in Mac's room in his flat-share and has no idea how she got there. But she's sure glad for the snoring heater next to her that she can cuddle up to while her head starts pounding.

- his roommates feed them both with coffee and an actually well-done breakfast, but they're all (including Mac) also teasing her endlessly for getting a hangover from two beers. They also pack her a lunch-and-munch-box for her bus ride back home, but she sleeps through it, mostly, thanks to some painkillers from Mac. (Amy was smart and booked her two seats on the Greyhound so she can spread out and doesn't need to deal with creeps sitting next to her)

- she comes home pretty well-rested and not hungover anymore, and when her parents ask how the weekend was she's just all "Oh it was fine, Mac showed me around campus and I met some of his friends, it was, uh, nice." "By those friends you mean Jane and Kathy from the dance floor?" Jake asks and Maya painfully remembers that he follows her on Instagram and that she also maybe possibly posted a video or two to her stories yesterday.

- (she doesn't get in trouble like Mac did, though, because they kind of... not knew, but expected this to happen when she said she was going to visit him. And had agreed that it's probably the best possible situation for her to get drunk the first time, with her big brother and his actually nice, responsible friends around her.)
