don't mind me, i'm just thinking about the fact that jade mentioned in 1x04 that graydon's death would essentially be the catalyst for a war between galladoorn and tir asleen and then in 1x08, mentioned that she could sense a war was coming as a result of whatever was happening or going to happen in the immemorial city which is also were graydon essentially "died" and that the final scene showcased what looks to be the beginning of that war which the wyrm wants graydon's help with.

so, whether it is a war between the kingdoms or a war between the wyrm and the realm, graydon is the primary catalyst for it!

that makes me think about willow's comment in 1x08 when he says that maybe kit and elora were supposed to go to the city alone. i don't think they were at all but maybe willow interpreted it wrong in that, one of them specifically wasn't supposed to jump and that person was graydon. maybe he was supposed to stay behind when jade and boorman and eventually willow jumped because him being in the city was what would actually be the beginning of the war jade could sense was coming and that willow knew was coming.

which could essentially give weight to the theory that graydon was who the gales were looking for when they kidnapped airk as they may have known they were looking for a prince who was the "harbinger" and they either got the wrong one especially given that 1) the whisper of the gales is heard at the exactmoment the horn sounds announcing galladoorn's arrival and 2) graydon translating the pnakotic about the harbinger of the wyrm which triggered an earthquake that nearly killed elora.

both are strong indicators on their own and we don't really know much about how it all works but what if and this is something i have been thinking about for a while, what if the real harbinger actually has to come to the immemorial city on their own (which could suggest in itself that the gales deliberately took airk knowing or believing that graydon would come to them on his own). that it has to be their choice. they have choose to jump off the edge of the world, it can't be a decision forced onto them similar to how the wyrm persuades them with what they want and what they fear as a means of gaining control over them but in the end they have to choose to drink. they can't be forced into this and maybe the harbinger arriving in the city is exactly the same. it's a choice they have to make on their own and once they do their fate is sealed.

and it's possible that when graydon jumped, it sealed everyone else's fate too.
