GISELLE- The Bitch In The Red Dress (M)
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/aab47f02554c90ecb41ca9236410848c/57df2d26e64b8b42-b2/s540x810/999173217afc98058f9e65bdc11f4f873ba23b17.jpg)
A/n: I've been playing too much resident evil lately
September 1998, you'll never forget it. The grizzly murders in the Arkley Mountains to the zombie outbreak in Raccoon city, her. She strung you along with little to no effort. Her beauty was something else, something not of this world. You and her got along per se, a kiss to stop your overthinking while you were in the thick of it. The hive was when everything went south. Her lies came out in the open due to the person you have been chasing with her. The explosions destroy the bridge and they are desperate to hold her from falling. The slipping of her hand from yours. The sinking heart as you watch her fall with the metal bridge. You had to get out, the city was forfeit.
Years later
You got hit by an assignment, the president's daughter was kidnapped by a cult in Spain's countryside. Ever since Raccoon city, you've tried to get away from the fight with the B.O.Ws that Umbrella left behind and the ones that are hidden away from greedy eyes. The cult leader, Saddler, is an extremist. Possibly due to the influence of the plaga or perhaps he always had these ideals and beliefs and the discovery of the plaga allowed him to act on it. The countless lives of the villagers, those part of the cult and those who were experimented on were lost. You fought through the village, Castle De Salazar, the place where you ran into her, The one that stole your heart amidst chaos. The red dress is reminiscent of the one she wore all those years ago. The knife shines in the moonlight as it is pressed against her neck, her porcelain skin reflecting in the polished finish.
“Use knives next time, they’re better for close encounters,” You take the handgun from her hand tossing it to the side sheathing your knife.
“Y/n,” You look at the woman as she takes off her sunglasses, you thought she was dead.
“What are you doing here Giselle?” You ask her, keeping your feelings in check. You’re on a mission, you have to be on guard at all times.
“Don’t worry about it, handsome,” She walks towards the window, “So cold to me after all these years apart.”
“After your lies, you’re lucky I don’t shoot you here and now,” You stare at her, fighting the urge to soak in her moon kissed beauty.
“Oh honey, I didn’t mean to lie to you, we both had a job to do that day,” You shake your head at her as she smirks,” Well see you around handsome,” She tosses her glasses causing a flash bang to go off blinding you as she takes off out of the window. You stare out of the window she left from, shaking your head leaving to the maze below. The castle was something else, the castellan was an interesting character to say the least. Ningning got taken to an island off the coast. Chasing after the man that took her, he’s quick perhaps beyond human limits. Getting to the dock, seeing a boat with a woman inside. She looks at you, “Need a ride handsome?”
The rough waters did little to deter you from looking at her, her hair neatly done despite the situation. You shake your head, getting rid of the excess thoughts. “Why Giselle?”
“All these years and that’s all you can ask Y/n?” She quirks an eyebrow, “You disappoint me.”
“I have something to ask you, but I won’t get a straight answer,” She chuckles as you sigh,”Raccoon City, after the incident. You try to save one, a hundred more die. The world changed and so have I. So the question is have you changed Giselle? or are you just trying to use me again?”
“You? Changed? You only think you have, what do you think? Do you think I’ve changed?” She looks over as she pulls the boat over to the side off the cliff aiming her grapple gun, “Don’t think too hard, handsome,” She takes off rocking the boat, you react quickly, steadying the boat before leaning back in the chair and sighing.
“Story of my life.”
The island was just as you expected to be, until you ran into him, Krauser. The man that trained you, the sparks from the knives slashing against each other. He knocks you onto your back diving his knife for your neck, a gunshot rings out making Krauser jump back and look over where it came from.
“Well if it isn’t The Bitch In The Red Dress,” He smirks as she starts firing down at them, with his enhancements, he can run faster than humanly possible. Dodging the bullets and jumping towards her, she grapples out of the way with him still chasing.
“What the fuck is happening here?”
The island of horrors, abdominations, fucking lasers, a comfy throne. You are pretty sure you’ve seen it all on this island alone. Finding Ningning again, you managed to find a machine that can get rid of your plaga after Giselle saved your ass again. Sending electric currents into a certain spot at a single spot, for one fucking hurt, and two killed the plaga so You are free from the plagas control and Saddler has another thing coming. Rushing outside to see Giselle tied by her wrists hanging in the ai.
“Y/n isn’t that?” Ning asks, as you nod.
“Stay here,” You tell her as you get into the elevator heading up, meeting Saddler as you ignore him tossing your knife cutting down Giselle. His form changed into a spider-like form with eyeballs on his legs. The fight felt like it took forever, Until you spot Giselle running over, “Y/n use this~” She yells out tossing a RPG towards you, you rush picking it up. Shooting it at Saddler as he recoils from the blast, his body sizzles away, you spot the vial, you grab it as you feel a gun press against your head.
“Hand it over,” Giselle says as you hand it behind you, she takes as she runs off the side getting an helicopter, “The island is set to blow,” She tosses a key ring, “Better hurry up Prince Charming.”
The helicopter takes off as you run back to the elevator, grabbing Ning by the hand, “We have to go,” You rush towards the underground water way, seeing a jet ski waiting for you, you hop on with her and speed away dodging the falling rocks, you get out of the waterway with Ning holding on tightly.
“Wow that was close,” She says resting her head on your back, “So um.. what do you think about some over time?”
“I’m good,” You chuckle, “I have some one else in my mind.”
“Is it her?” She asks and you merely nod as you drive off, “I figured,” She mutters leaning her head down on your shoulder.
You get a nice vacation after getting the president's daughter back to the states. You take in a breath of fresh air standing in front of your house, getting to the front door, you notice it's slightly opened. Immediately drawing your 9mm, turning the safety off you make your way through the living room. Clearing every room in the bottom floor before moving up. Clearing rooms up to yours. Opening the door, your laser lands in the middle of the forehead of the intruder.
"Oh my, what a welcome," she's says as she crosses her legs in her trademarked red dress.
"What are you doing here Giselle?" you ask her holstering your gun, sighing.
"just thought I'll see you again," her eyes trailing your body in suit. "You look good like you always do, perhaps the president's daughter flirting with you did you some good."
“Don’t even talk about that,” You place your gun onto the dresser by the wall before looking back at her as she stands walking over to you, her hands trailing down your shirt undoing button by button. She pulls off your shirt and suit jacket in one swoop. She kisses your scars soflty, her eyes lock onto the gunshot on your shoulder.
“I remember when this happen,” Her fingers softly glazes over the gunshot, “I was scared to be honest.”
“Even though you say that, were you really?” You question her as you feel her fingers quiver against your skin
“I’m telling the truth for once, Y/n. I didn’t want to lose you even though I only just met you a few hours prior,” She kisses the scar, her kisses trail down your body as she gets to her knees undoing your belt. Pulling your cock out, she smiles licking her lips, “I missed this,” She pushes you towards the bed, taking off your boxers and slacks. She strokes your cock slowly as she spits on it, “I feel you throbbing already~” She kisses up your shaft, “Already needy for Mommy?” She takes your tip into her mouth, you feel her tongue swirl around it sending shivers throughout your body. She pushes herself deeper as your cock reaches her throat.
“Fuck,” You mutter as your hand reaches the back of her head pushing your cock deeper. She pulls back, her saliva cascades down onto your cock as she strokes it faster and faster, her other hand caressing your body, her hand going over your abs and scars as she sucks your cock. She pulls your cock out with a pop as she stands up, dropping her red dress onto the floor, her naked poreclain body on perfect display for you as she straddles you, her thighs covered in her juices as she slides your cock into her, hearing her breath hitch as you feel her up. Your arms wrap around her waist, as she starts to ride you. Her ass bouncing on your cock, her tightness squeezing every inch of you. She wraps her arms around your neck as she rides your cock faster and faster.
“Fuck me babyboy, Use me fucking use me baby,” She pleads with you as you thrust upwards, hitting her womb as you ravage her, her moans fill your ears. You hear nothing else other than her, she is in every one of your senses. Her juices dripping down your balls creating a puddle on the bed, “Give me that dick baby,” She moans out as her hands grip onto your hair as her hips meet your thrusts. You feel her walls tighten around you as she cums over your cock, her body shaking as you don’t stop chasing your own orgasm, “Fucking cum in me, fill me the fuck up with your cum babyboy,” She urges you as you feel it coming you fuck her faster and faster and you feel the first shot, you push yourself as deep as you could. You see her bright smile as she feels you fill her up, “So so much~” She giggles as she sits up, your cock still in her, “You filled up Mommy so well,” She moves her hips slowly, milking the rest out of you, “Surely you have more for me~?”

What was the point of Sauron and Galadriel’s scene in 2x08?
1. Halbrand = Sauron
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/459d3e6eaf589f9b4fc4507f0a269144/ea3cc63997d6926e-65/s400x600/9cc35b7e8a6113e762b169c0a3327d33d9a69001.webp)
Sauron wants to prove to Galadriel that he and Halbrand are the same (“I have many names” and "Halbrand is Sauron" have been two themes this season, in both Sauron and Galadriel's character arcs), and the connection they felt before the reveal was true and not a deception on his part;
“Were are not the same. We never were. It was just another of your illusions.” “Not all of it.” And Sauron proceeds to explain what he means by this through illusions: “Fighting at your side, I felt, if I could just hold onto that feeling.” (Halbrand = "I've felt it, too" = the connection was real) “They could no longer distinguish me from the evil I was fighting.” (Dark!Galadriel = Sauron sees the darkness in Galadriel) “Aren’t these the seeds you planted?” (Celebrimbor on Galadriel’s vision, meaning Sauron has some sort of influence over Nenya)
This explains why Sauron didn’t stay in his Halbrand form, when it was the easiest way to manipulate her. He’s attempting to prove that the connection Galadriel felt was, in fact, with him, Sauron himself.
2. Bind Yourself to Me
“The door is still open”
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/1509344ecfa9724b6d1394336317484e/ea3cc63997d6926e-72/s400x600/d784556a209ec199e36bdd05fc2e56580e14bef8.webp)

Sauron is set on binding himself to Galadriel this time around, and against her will if he has to. She won't reject him again. He wants her to bind herself to him, freely. But she refuses until the end (“the door is shut”), and, so, he forces them to bind together (using Morgoth’s crown). This was his way of saying: “you are mine, now and forever”.
“I would’ve placed a crown upon your head, I would never have rested until all of Middle-earth had been brought to its knees to worship the light of its Queen.”
This was Sauron revealing that his proposal to Galadriel back in 1x08 was real, and that he truly meant it.
"I would make you a queen, fair as the sea and the Sun, stronger than the foundations of the earth." "And you, my Kind. The Dark Lord." "No, not dark. Not with you at my side." You bind me to the light, and I bind you to power"
However, that boat has sail (hence the "past tense"). And he, as Morgoth’s official successor ("shadow of Morgoth") and the new Dark Lord has no interest for Galadriel’s light, anymore. He wants to bring her into the darkness with him, now. And if he can’t have Galadriel in the Seen world (reality), he’ll have her on the Unseen world (“shadow realm”), that he now masters.

What went wrong?
Many fellow fans have already discussed this (myself included), but this scene was so badly-executed and produced it failed to bring all of these points across to the audience in a clear way. Which is a shame because everything seems to work on paper.
This scene, truly, is a mess, and all over the place. There’s no way around it. The producers valued spectacle over storytelling and it damaged the scene, by not allowing it time to breathe and make these emotions shine through. Even the actors (Morfydd and Charlie) had to be more preoccupied with the fighting choreography than in delivering emotional weight, because there’s so much they can do when they are moving around like maniacs.
I think the “Marvelization” effect is to blame here: the extensive and unnecessary fighting and the cringeworthy dialogue (action hero “one-liners”). Galadriel in love with Halbrand, refusing to accept he and Sauron are the same being; Sauron obsessing over her and wanting her at his side, at any cost. The weight of them being doomship. This scene should be overflowing with emotions, drama and tragedy, and yet, all of that was sterilized to prioritize the fighting sequence no one asked for.
Sauron and Galadriel could have fought for a while, but there was no need to drag it on and on until the end, because that was not the point of the scene, and by doing this, the show confused its audience. “Wait, Sauron killed Galadriel?” Because, come on, that’s what all of us thought when we first saw this scene. We are analyzing it now and finding the true meaning behind it, but no one would have guessed Sauron’s true intention on their first watch.
Another problem is the failure of “show, not tell”. I don’t know if this scene was the show writers’ original plan or if they changed it later (multiple endings, reshoots, etc.). We are told that Sauron and Galadriel know each others’ minds, but the show doesn’t actually reveal any of it to us. Everything is so subtle and ambiguous, folks get confused.
We are now told by Director and executive producer Charlotte Brändström, that Galadriel really loved Halbrand, and that Sauron changes into Halbrand because he fell and doesn’t want to look powerless in front of Galadriel. But he knows Galadriel’s mind and can see her love for him in that moment, and that's the reason for his “puppy eyes”. But in that sequence, nothing of this comes through, and it looks like Sauron is just manipulating her to stop the fight and get the Nine. The audience can't understand this, because the scene is showing us Marvel action-hero fight instead of actual raw emotion (like we got on Season 1 finale).

Realizing that, while I like Destiny lore, what I love is Seth Dickinson's writing.
The Final Shape was a lovely story and the characters' archs were all emotional and satisfying. Maybe a nostalgic tear was shed for Cayde bonding with his reformed, resurrected killer.
But the things that have kept me coming back for 9 years were missing. I thought there'd be concrete answers about the Traveler, or some more thorough insights into the Witness, or even good lore on the Dread. I was hoping for another great lore book to join the ranks of Books of Sorrow, Unveiling, Mysterious Logbook, Marasenna, Last Days of Kraken Mare, etc. Some philosophy and horror, a genesis or exegesis or thorough backstory on a yet unexamined character/species.
Sadly, I didn't find those. The Dread's origin is that the Witness made them. Do they think and feel? TBD. The Traveler's conclusion was something like "you just have to have faith <3." Fine for the characters, but not for the readers/players of a 10-year-old mystery.
There's some nice things. The Micah-10 Traveler interpretations are cool, as is her origin story. And the foreshadowing still has me excited for the Dreadnaught, a yet unseen Disciple, etc. But I think key parts of what made Destiny lore so alluring for me are diminished.
Maybe it's the layoffs at Bungie. Maybe it's new writers going in a different direction. Either way, the aspects of sci-fi/space fantasy—ancient mysteries, metaphysical warfare, _____—have taken the back seat to personal drama that frankly isn't that interesting or fleshed out.
Maya could be an interesting antagonist, but she needed more backstory than "this simulation was evil or something" and more nuance than "the Vanguard are coercive, so I will coerce all of humanity." Why not explore what her presence means for the Vex, or the other simulations helping Praedyth escape the Vault?
The Witness trying to sway various characters was fine, but that has been covered so many times, especially in Beyond Light.
All that said, back to Seth: their absence in TFS made me realize how huge their presence in the lore was for my love of Destiny. I finally went and read their original works. What an incredible writer.
First, I read Exordia, the first/only entry into a dark mindfuck of a space opera. Its horrific in abstract ways: mysterious alien monoliths that poison reality around them. It's horrific in grounded ways, too: the alien invasion plays off of parallels with the Anfal campaign and the US involvement in Iraq. It's campy at times (with a villain who shouts "I love genocide!") but also profound. There's souls and date, but also math. There's also my favorite trope: mysterious, ancient architects.
After that, I read Baru Cormorant—all three books in a month. It's tragic and inspiring and genius. Originally I couldn't get through the first chapter because of the "fantasy" label. I've already read Earthsea and wasn't in the mood for wizards on boats. But I had the wrong impression. Understandable, because there is just no succinct way to label it.
Is it even fantasy? Honestly, I still don't know.
What it is is its own world. One that the inhabitants haven't fully mapped. One whose past is a must and whose future is uncertain. It's about hegemony. It's about purpose, obsession, and revenge. It's about revolution and community.
The colonizer culture is a kaleidoscope of different influences. Seafaring. Peri-industrial. Eugenic. It strikes me as something like 17th century Britain with a 20th century grasp of science. They don't have guns, but they do have both Greek fire and lobotomies. The story plays with different cultural views on indigenous rights, race, sexuality, and gender in ways that commentary real life while serving as interesting world building.
This story also weaves an insane amount of intellectual concepts into it. But rather than bog it down, they lift it up. The fate of the republic hinges on a myriad of different questions: is evolution Lamarckian or Darwinian? Can mathematical proofs usurp cultural hegemony? How do economics influence history? Most importantly, can you destroy the enemy from within before it destroys you?
It is not just cerebral, but tragic and heartbreaking. I saw the end of the first book coming, and yet I was devastated by the last chapter. Crushed like no ending has ever really crushed me. I didn't want it to happen.
There will likely be some time before the final book comes out, which is understandable. So much research goes into these. So many plot threads need to be woven together. So many mysteries not yet confronted.
This is all to say: if you like what I like about Destiny–thorough examinations of ancient mysteries, sci-fi takes on souls and magic, fantasy takes on science and technology, obsessive characters and vividly fucked up monsters, cancer and math as motifs, metaphors manifesting, and genius characters written by genius authors–give Seth Dickinson a chance.

FÉLIX RESURRECCIÓN HIDALGO - LA LAGUNA ESTIGIA (THE STYX LAGOON), 1887
This captivating Greco-Roman artwork draws inspiration from Dante Alighieri's epic poem Inferno, which describes his journey through hell and the nine concentric circles of sin and evil. The fifth circle, wrath, is believed to be located in the stinking water of the river named Styx. This artwork depicts Charon rowing in a boat on the Styx River with souls seated inside and others surrounding the boat.
Charon, the ferryman of the dead in classical mythology, is clearly the central figure of the painting. In Greek mythology, he is represented as either a repulsive old man or a winged demon with a hooked nose. Going back to the inspiration of the piece–Canto III of Dante’s Inferno, it is said that Hidalgo attempted many studies of the different figures seen in the painting before he made the final version Pertinent lines from Inferno are as follows:
"Charon the demon with the eyes of coal,
Beckoning, garners them together there,
Beats with his oar each backward hanging soul”
Hidalgo, along with Juan Luna, became the first Filipino painters to gain international recognition during the 19th Century, Hidalgo was not exactly a Filipino painter in the strict sense, for his works, in content and in style, reflected European and Western Influences. The honors and prizes that Hidalgo received for La Laguna Estigia and his other paintings, while in competition with other European works, did disprove that the Filipinos were as inferior a race as the Spanish believe.

Men today have lost their backbone, they’ve lost the fire in their belly and the passion in their soul. Most men today aren’t living, they’re merely existing (and bleakly existing at that). Every day, they are given an opportunity to speak their truth, to stand their ground, to authentically express themselves and share with the world who and what they really are. But they rarely take it. Through years of subconscious social conditioning, we’ve been taught to bite our tongues. To avoid rocking the boat. To play it safe and try to please everyone around us. Even when those around us need to be called out and held accountable for their words or actions. Quote “when you have something to say, silence is a lie”, serves as a helpful reminder that it is your duty and obligation to speak up when necessary. While others ignore injustice and bury their heads in the sand, it is your duty to speak up. To stand for your values and ethics. To make it known when boundaries have been crossed. Anything else is a lie. And over the long term, those little lies will castrate and corrode your masculine spirit. So, attend carefully to your posture. Quit drooping and hunching around. Speak your mind. Put your desires forward, as if you had a right to them — at least the same right as others. Walk tall and gaze forthrightly ahead. Dare to be dangerous. Encourage the serotonin to flow plentifully through the neural pathways desperate for its calming influence. If you aren’t everything you could be, more people will die, more people will suffer, more evil will be unconstrained, more tyranny will reign, more chaos will remain chaotic and dangerous. All of that.

i'd like to present my concept of nightmare time episodes where every (or almost every) person is played by the same person, inspired by jaime lyn beatty in daddy. here are some ideas:
peter spankoffski is done being at the bottom of the hatchetfield high food chain, and so he seeks out help to become cooler. he comes across ethan green, who, having just been left by his girlfriend lex, decides, "what the hell, i'll mentor this kid on being cool". when ted spankoffski learns that his little brother is hanging out with "that no-good ethan green", he confronts pete about it, perhaps a little too harshly. his intentions are good, but when has anything ever gone the way he meant? ted, like everybody in town, knows about ethan's reputation, and he thinks he'll be a bad influence on pete. he knows that, if anyone can, pete can make it out of hatchetfield, and he doesn't want ethan screwing that up. so he confronts him, and one thing leads to another, and eventually pete storms out in anger. ted knows if he goes after pete immediately, he'll only make things worse, so he decides he'll let him have his moment of teenage rebellion and then reconcile with him after. a few hours later, ted spankoffski, now drinking his problems away, is approached by a mysterious man who has somehow gotten into ted's apartment. wilbur cross, as he introduces himself, half-convinces and half-mind controls ted into believing that ethan is responsible for this, and the only way to protect pete is to kill ethan. he storms into ethan's tiny basement apartment, wielding his now shattered bottle of booze, and prepared to rip him limb from limb with his new super-powered companion. ethan can hold his own, though, and the brawl is a tough match. eventually, though, ethan manages to get the remaining shard of the bottle and shove it straight through ted's chest. as this happens, pete comes out of ethan's bathroom, revealing that he'd gone to ethan for comfort after his fight with ted. ted bleeds out on ethan's floor as pete holds him.
ruth fleming has graduated high school, and she's lucky enough to find a super chill job as a farmhand on the farm of emma perkins. one day, as they do their usual work (which isn't much, to be honest), they are approached by linda monroe, who is all but seething. she's goes on about how drugs are evil and she will not raise her children in a town where such depravity is taking place. they threaten her off the property, and they think that'll be over and done with. it's not like they've never had to deal with moralistic creeps like her before, and they've always come out the other side. linda comes back the next day with a petition signed by just about every member of the hatchetfield boating society. yeah whatever, perky's buds is not going to be dismantled by some stupid rich people who think they have more power than they do. in the midst of this, they've recently recieved a new client: 17 year old hannah foster. a quiet kid from hatchetfield high, who seems to have joined the smoke club as a way to make some friends. emma and ruth don't think much of it -- neither of them have any qualms about selling to teenagers, and business is business. however, hannah keeps coming back for more and more, and ruth starts to wonder if there's something else going on. back in the linda plot, linda has taken to bringing people out to the farm to protest. each day she (or, more accurately, the people she's hired) come with more and more people holding cardboard signs and chanting. it's really starting to get on emma's nerves. one day, while hannah is picking up her purchase, linda, surrounded by a mob of angry parents and hatchetfield adults, returns. suddenly, linda no longer seems like a nuisance, but a legitimate threat. her followers carry weapons and the menacing smile on her face tells emma and ruth that she isn't messing around. as the mob breaks through the door of the farm house, emma and ruth urge hannah to look for shelter. hannah refuses though, and emma swears her eyes begin to gleam almost inhumanly. the mob makes it to them, and are suddenly thrown back by a wave of psychic energy so powerful it shatters the walls of the house. hannah's new powers (on account of the weed) leave emma, ruth, and herself standing unharmed in the middle of a surrounding pile of groaning, injured people.
i have a few other concepts, but this is getting super long so i better leave it here for now lmao

Underrated aspect of the Shrek franchise:
Shrek begins the series living near the magical land of Duloc, ruled by the evil Lord Farquad, who leads a campaign against the many magical creatures that live within its borders.
In the second film, Shrek and Fiona both move to her home kingdom of Far Far Away, a fantastical land controlled by a Frog Prince and a villainous Fairy Godmother, where they spend the rest of the series.
Puss in Boots, on the other hand, lives in Spain.
Granted, it's a version of Spain that exists only a short boat-ride away from the Far Far Away Hollywood sign, and seems to be heavily influenced by Western films set in America and Mexico, but they definitely call it Spain and the language they call Spanish appears to be the same language that we call Spanish.
Meaning that the Roman invasion of Europe and their establishment of a region known as Hispania in the Shrek-equivalent of the Iberian peninsula, still happened in this universe.

an idea I've had tumbling in my mind for a while after watching (and then rewatching Coraline) was a GF Coraline au with some difference
An evil being that preys on those that feel ostracised/outcast or lonely aka the Beldam = Bill Cipher ( both their names start with B haha)
His previous most recent victim was supposed to be Stanford but his twin brother Stanley noticed the danger that his brother was in and saved him (in this case I'm gonna merge the lovat twin sister that died and the cat, introducing Ghost child Stanley that can turn into a cat and hop between worlds, just as the Beldam can't stand the cat Bill can't stand Ghost Child Stanley, he couldn't quite trap him like the other victims plus he let Stanford get away from his grasp!)
Stanley might have carved a safe haven in the other world, In the outskirts of it where Bill's influence can't fully reach, a small boat called The Stan O' War
Back in the real world, Stanford is the current owner of the pink palace (fits with how he also originally owned the mystery shack) , he'd forgotten what happened in the other world (you can choose whether it's been magically erased or he chalked it up to "my wild childhood imagination, my brother probably ran away from home >:( "
And in this summer his grand niece and nephew have come to spend the summer at his house
Dipper would be the current target for Bill cipher, he's a nerdy lover who can't quite fit in with the crowd a perfect target
The doll would still be acting like Bill's eyes but he still has the ability to see through any "eye"
It would be interesting to see how the story would play out (since Coraline didn't have a sibling + the "cat" in this case doubles as an escapee ghost child that's secretly related to him)
I haven't figured out who (from the GF cast) can be the eccentric neighbours besides Bobinsky=Fiddleford
This has been a lot of unedited rambling + English isn't my first language but I hope it made some sense haha

Films from the next decade or so include The Hucksters (1947), Show Boat (1951), The Snows of Kilimanjaro (1952), Lone Star (1952), Mogambo, nominated for a Best Actress Academy Award (1953), The Barefoot Contessa (1954), Bhowani Junction (1956), The Sun Also Rises (1957) and On the Beach (1959). Off-camera, she could be witty and pithy, as in her assessment of director John Ford, who directed Mogambo ("The meanest man on earth. Thoroughly evil. Adored him!"). In The Barefoot Contessa, she played the role of doomed beauty Maria Vargas, a fiercely independent woman who goes from Spanish dancer to international movie star with the help of a Hollywood director played by Humphrey Bogart, with tragic consequences. Gardner's decision to accept the role was influenced by her own lifelong habit of going barefoot. Gardner played the role of Guinevere in Knights of the Round Table (1953), with actor Robert Taylor as Sir Lancelot. Indicative of her sophistication, she portrayed a duchess, a baroness and other women of noble lineage in her films of the 1950s.
Gardner played the role of Soledad in The Angel Wore Red (1960) with Dirk Bogarde as the male lead. She was billed between Charlton Heston and David Niven for 55 Days at Peking (1963), which was set in China during the Boxer Rebellion in 1900. The following year, she played her last major leading role in the critically acclaimed The Night of the Iguana (1964), based upon a Tennessee Williams play, and starring Richard Burton as an atheist clergyman and Deborah Kerr as a gentle artist traveling with her aged poet grandfather. John Huston directed the movie in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, insisting on making the film in black-and-white – a decision he later regretted because of the vivid colors of the flora. Gardner received billing below Burton, but above Kerr. She was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama and BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance.

Web of Lies hermitcraft AU (Summary/info post)
Grian is surprised when Jimmy contacts him, especially since they haven't spoken in years. Back then, Grian was still a journalist who secretly worked with villains and Jimmy was a young adult who got accepted into a hero program...
Apparently Jimmy had become a vigilante instead, and the reason he contacted Grian was because he and his civilian friend Joel were creating an underground fighting ring and they needed workers for the bar above it that functions as a cover up.
He's hesitant to accepts their offer, since he's been trying to stay out of any... Crime "Shenanigans" for the past few years since quiting his job as a journalist, but agrees after they assure him that they just need a civilian worker that won't rat them out to the heroes.
Everything goes well at first and Grian slowly gets to know the other staff members better, that is until he starts to overhear more and more strange conversations between his co-workers, mentioning a strange type of magic that has been causing chaos in the city recently. It sounds awfully familiar to a cult Grian knows from his time as a journalist in Evo.
Grian is determined to stay out of it, ESPECIALLY if it turns out he's correct about the watchers being involved, but he has to at least do something, right?
Or, Grian has to make a choice between his quiet life as a "civilian" and saving his friends. Determined to do both, he tries to influence the watchers games from behind the scenes without anyone finding out, even going as far as creating new secret personas. Too bad the watchers think identity reveals are incredibly entertaining...

This is not normal! White supremacists didn’t have boat parades for Bush! They didn’t have racist parading for Reagan. They certainly didn’t have Nazis marching for McCain! As a nation this heavy lean towards fascism needs put down in its beginnings. What was taken from you rarely is easily retained. Steps in that direction have imprinted the treads of fascist workings in our republic.
1. Undermine the legitimacy of the core foundations of a government. Make elections out to be shams or rigged.
2. Remove, replace or discredit a free press.
3. Delegitimize, the judiciary. Install your own.
4. Find a collective enemy to focus the nations problems upon ie. Immigrants, religious factions, race
5. Make this enemy seem less than human, disgusting and a threat to your way of life.
6. Insert a leader who boasts that he will save the nation, that him and him alone can solve these problems.
7. Create an atmosphere of fear. That if this leader isn’t implanted the nation won’t survive.
8. Create an us vs them mentality with your followers, framing it as good vs evil, right vs wrong. Placate to religious beliefs if possible.
9. Create minoritarian rule through extreme gerrymandering and electoral processes that increase the influence of the minority party. One where the numbers of votes cast doesn’t reflect the representation given.
10. Install family members in your administration, supplanting experts and professionals.

Even More Resident Evil Asks
Anonymous asked:
Resident Evil/Serial Roommates
Vox tries to destroy Guy and Alastor's relationship by revealing Alastor's serial killer past thinking Guy doesn't know and Alastor was lying the whole time.
Nope. Guy suspected something from the day they met, but he liked him and there was no proof so they moved in together. Then people Guy investigated but couldn't get evidence on started disappearing, and the only person who could have that much information was Alastor. Guy may want to see the best in people, but he's a detective, even personal feelings wouldn't blind him that much.
Guy and Alastor were content in the in-between about that, knowing the other knew but never directly discussing it so Guy had deniability should something happen. Guy believed Alastor to be a good person, and he was killing bad people the law couldn't stop, so there wasn't reason to intervene. If Alastor crossed the line, they would have a problem, but he never did. In his head, Alastor wasn't a serial killer, he was a vigilante. Should he be doing it? No, but less innocents would suffer by letting him keep doing it, so in the grand scheme of things this is fine. Trolley problem and all.
While trapped in the Baker Estate, Guy started losing his memories and forgot about that, he just remembered his dear friend Alastor. He may have even consciously suppressed it so Eveline couldn't prepare for Alastor's fighting prowess if she influenced him to call Alastor. But escaping the Baker Estate and seeing Alastor killing too well for even being a war veteran to explain, he knew. Alastor wasn't just a vigilante, he was a stone-cold killer.
That could even be the thing Guy starts to slowly remember on the boat, all the things he suspected in the back of his head but never voiced. He knows what Alastor is and still makes the choice that this is his friend and he now owes him a life debt (a life debt making his silence in no way impact going to heaven), so they are going home together and he will keep the secret.
Anonymous asked:
Resident Evil 7 - hotel finds out edition
Would the hotel be able to see anything outside Alastor's POV when they look at his past? That section when it switches to Mia's/Guy's perspective is what comes to mind.
Would the hotel be able to see Guy's time in the boat and that with his memories he is actually extremely competent, or would they only see Alastor be knocked unconscious, his talk with non-possessed Jack Baker in the mold hivemind, then Guy rescuing him with no context of how Guy managed to do that?
Anonymous asked:
Resident Evil 7 au
Jack Baker reminds Alastor of his father
The situation got even worse especially when Jack uses phrases like “boy” “my little Alastor” or the most iconic“Welcome to the family son”
Anonymous asked:
Resident Evil 7/Hotel Watches RE7
Vox manages to eavesdrop on the hotel watching RE7 and wants to blast images of human Alastor and his past all over hell, but Alastor in those memories is doing the classic Ethan move of even when on the brink of death he will roll his ass over to make sure nobody sees his face in pictures. Funniest bit in Resident Evil, Ethan will hide his face at all cost in pictures/gameplay.
It reaches a point Vox is screaming "TURN AROUND" every time Alastor looks away from the "camera." When it switches to Guy's POV rescuing Alastor from the mold on the boat, most of his face is hidden and Vox just about causes a blackout.
Anonymous asked:
Serial Roommates/Resident Evil 7
Concept: Guy is also very powerful in Heaven like Alastor is in Hell. If a lot of Alastor’s power comes from being unknowingly yet severely infected by the mold at the time of his death and aspects of the mold if not the mold itself followed him to Hell, it stands to reason that even with a cure, Guy was still exposed enough to the mold to also get powers from it. He wouldn’t be stronger than Alastor because he got a cure and ultimately died from his exposure post-cure, but he would have a notable amount of power.
If Heaven is corrupt enough that Guy changes his mind about his mission to bring Alastor to Heaven and decides to fall down to Hell with him, he would be comparable to an overlord in power, and that would be the clue for the hotel that what happened in the Baker Estate ties directly into the source of Alastor’s unusual power.
Anonymous asked:
Resident Evil
So if Vox brings Lucas Baker onto the Vees to get back at Alastor, that means the Vees are now a team of four overlords. Four lords. Four lords Alastor has to face because they’re going after his new family.
RE8 time, baby!
Anonymous asked:
Resident Evil 7
Alastor grabbing possessed Guy and high-tailing it the fuck out of the Baker's Estate is so funny when you think about what that means. People infected with mold can bust straight through walls, including Guy himself! That means Guy became a murderous psycho with a giant knife or something, broke through the wall to get to Alastor, and Alastor didn't give a shit and just threw Guy over his shoulder and ran.
Anonymous asked:
Resident Evil 7
Alastor as a serial killer would be able to get through Guy's section easily (minus Guy being able to bust through a wall) and get him out of the guest house. One problem though, because of the mold, Eveline can straight-up calcify the body of anyone who tries to leave the property, that was why there was so much emphasis on getting the cure first.
Alastor tries to leave the estate to get Guy to safety, but between Guy's full-blown mental breakdown and him screaming in pain with weird changes starting on his body, Alastor figures out whatever has a hold over him means he can't leave. He has no choice but to put Guy somewhere he hopes is safe (somewhere Guy will probably get recaptured sadly) and search out what is causing this.
Alastor would probably get to skip "welcome to the family, son" and the dinner scene, but the rest would go the same.
Anonymous asked:
RE7 AU
At first I wondered how Guy could end up in the Mia situation in the Bakers' Estate and not killed for resisting if he was in the wrong place at the wrong time, but what if Guy actually did have involvement with Eveline that made him special to her?
Not in the way Mia was. Mia was a bio-terrorist acting as a caretaker for Eveline for bio-terrorist reasons, but looking at the timeline, if the RE7 AU takes place during the 1920s, it’s not a stretch to think Eveline was created during the end of WW1. Guy would have been drafted into the war the same way Alastor was, and depending on where he was stationed, he could have encountered Eveline and shown her a kindness that made her decide that in the family she wanted, she wanted someone like Guy. When they have the worst reunion by chance years later, she makes sure to keep him.
That would be what Guy starts remembering in the boat section from his POV while Eveline is trying to jog his memory, he did meet Eveline before and while he was a completely innocent party here, there was a reason he had lasted this long and was so desired by her.
(Also worth mentioning, the boat section means Alastor got kidnapped by Eveline and Guy has to rescue him. Goddamn even when he's the hero, Alastor can't stop getting kidnapped)
Anonymous asked:
Love the idea Alastor is always riding the line between heaven and hell to the point the divine deciding force doesn't know what to do with him. He kills a ton of people, then he's a war hero, then he kills more people, then he goes and is a hero in the Bakers' Estate, and then he kills more people! If he had lived long enough to have his next heroic adventure, he would have either gone to heaven or the deciding force would have thrown in the towel and let him pick.
Anonymous asked:
Alternate RE au - Alastor Dimitrescu
Where Alastor is Alcina Dimitrescu’s only ‘son’ who’s basis is different to that of his ‘sisters’ (they’re still bug like, but his is 100% deer)
Alastor actually did/does care about them and seeks them out in Hell, hoping they’re all safe.

AITA for refusing to tell my boyfriend how much money he owes me
Due to no fault of his own, my (18M) boyfriend (18M) has been unemployed for a long time, while I've had a stable casual job for about two years so I've had the opportunity to save some cash.
This has meant that I, for the past year and a bit of our relationship, have ended up paying for most things we've done, including buying a couple big things for my boyfriend that he has promised to pay me back for once he gets a job. I'm fine with this, and I haven't been chasing him about paying me back because I know he's in a tough spot financially.
He has demanded that I tell him an exact dollar value of his "debt" to me, so he can pay me back, and I've been feeling really awful about this. I feel like putting a dollar value on it is like giving him a "buy-out" cost for our relationship, and like it's gonna change our dynamic. I dont want to feel like an evil debt collector, he's my boyfriend for christ's sake
I've tried to communicate my concerns to him, how I feel it may influence our relationship (which I feel has been pretty rocky and weird recently for an unrelated reason so I don't want to rock the boat) - and for this he has accused me of being excessively selfish and self centred.
What are these acronyms?
