Like musical Beej and Adam except less perverted and more flirty/sappy? I was an odd kid- okay? 🥲#Anyway… the old design didn’t really do much to show off her personality… so I ended up upheaving the whole thing #It was okay for what I knew at the time- but I know what I was trying to say then and now I have the knowledge to say it better #Also— the reason I gave her horns here is so silly.#When I was younger I was in a Christian school where I wasn’t allowed to draw witches-ghosts-demons-etc.#So even though I based her on the Dante girls… I refused to give her horns because I thought that was ‘too sinful’#I even remember having so much guilt while looking for references of the Dante workers #I couldn’t even look for more than five seconds!#Anyways… she really pushed the boundaries for me at the time and it’s fun to see how I’ve changed and grown since then.

Wasn’t expecting to get too excited about the 2024 Pokemon Presents, but that curveball Pokemon Z as a Legends game with Game Freak taking extra time for development is pretty hype.

Kalos deserved better than X and Y, so hoping it gets a lot of love!

Anyway. I’m here because I want to share my day 1 moonshot theory before theory-crafting goes out of style.

It’s all based on this image here from the Legends Z-A trailer:

I understand the point of this trailer is to show Lumiose City’s redevelopment blueprints coming to life. But my brain said “Fullmetal Alchemist.”

So, what if this game reveals that the city planner behind modern-day Lumiose (preferably a cunty, femme-coded ancestor to Lysandre and/or Sycamore, let’s be honest) designed the equivalent of an Amestris transmutation circle? Either to reactivate the ancient weapon or mess with the balance of nature some other way to draw out Zygarde for yadda yadda evil plotting.

one of the most annoying interactions in the world, to us, is when someone establishes an opinion, people disagree with it, and instead of ignoring or blocking the people who can't mind their own business, the original person decides to become the most annoying person ever to literally everyone else in the interaction. "have you ever-" no, but we have seen the interaction happen very publicly multiple times and it never gets any less annoying. like we don't know how to tell you that acknowledging every comment or argument, no matter how cordial or even shitty, with some shitty snark ass remark is not endearing or funny. it's not going to prove a point to anyone. do you not have better things to do.

#Faye Vents #Faye Complains #it gets even more annoying when the annoying behavior extends even to people who are being respectful #or are just saying shit like ''i like x thing but i still see your point''#one of the interactions that stuck with us that really. solidified our hatred of this behavior.#was someone talking about how everyone who liked a specific brand of character design had bad taste.#''lesbians need to get better taste'' being a comment that stuck with us.#it came across our dash randomly one day.#and we were like ''oh. well; they're using characters from a game we like as an example feels bad but okay; not our problem''#and then we ended up catching just. a couple of reblogs on the chain. some cordial some not.#and just. just. the most infantile responses to them.#which caused us to foolishly look in the notes #and see it's just filled with op going through them and having just hundreds of stupid; infantile replies and reblogs to every single perso #who disagreed with them or called them out on their weird behavior in the notes.#just essentially dozens of jokes that amounted to ''*shits and burps at you* did you hear something'' to literally everything.#like are you 5. do you not have anything better to do.#do you have a job. a hobby. literally anything other than being an annoying shitlord on the internet. nobody thinks you're funny.#we don't know. it stuck with us really hard and it still bugs us to this day.#we don't know why. probably because; again; they used characters we liked as examples to their point. so we felt a little targeted.#we don't know; we needed to complain for 0.2 seconds.

loki season two has me screaming crying throwing up trying not to get dragged back into the mcu trenches

#i am stronger than this. i am better than this!!#by the trenches i mean consuming fanfiction at an unhealthy rate. fourteen year old me was insane i think i was on ao3 more than i slept #that’s not exaggeration. i was getting four hours of sleep on school nights and frequently went to bed at 5am on weekends #it is ONE good story. one. literally not worth it. i don’t even care about ninety percent of the mcu characters #i will ignore the little voice in my head reminding of the sheer amount of fanfiction. this was my pre-tumblr days #so my fandom interaction was like. youtube and ao3. maybe instagram posts sometimes. it was so much fun like. zero drama zero discourse #i was honestly living my best life. got less interested when i joined tumblr and went full doctor who mode #and after endgame i watched i think wandavision and loki and that was it. just didnt care anymore lol #i know exactly why this is happening tho. currently the thing i am insane about is my own damn project. which i am in the process of writin #for obvious reasons no fandom there. bc it lives in my mind twenty four fucking seven #i do wonder if i’m kind of growing away from fandom anyway? the closest i’ve got since toh ended was homestuck tbh #i want to feel obsessed with something again!! everything i’m into now - tma tlt and the like - i love them #but it doesnt hit like it used to. i don’t know it’s hard to explain #like video essays that i would have loved a few years ago!! the hour long ones about representation and queer media #they just irritate me now! i got halfway through one last week and had to bail i just could not care less #how did 2020 social media have me convinced that x character being gay was super important politically economically socially etc #ofc the answer is that i was a baby lesbian getting even less social interaction than normal #like representation is important obviously but also. sometimes it was not that deep #i don’t know if i’m making sense tbh but you get my drift #morganposting

i'm so happy and proud to have a mom who not only listens to me talk about queer issues, but asks me to translate and explain things so she can more effectively try and change minds of the bigoted people she knows. she's come so far and i'm so grateful to have her by my side

#it took her a while to be fully on board with me coming out as a lesbian but she's incredile now #she once told me she'd always be by my side protesting for my right to marry and have biochildren (things that still aren't legal here)#and since then she's been super vocal and educating herself on other issues as well sending emails with me about palestine to our reps #and always sticking up for me when ppl are being ableist and for disability rights in general #life has been one giant kick in the head for me but she's done everything possible and more to try and make it better #love her so incredily much #*mina.txt
