We can't theorize (with reasonable suspicion) that kerry is actually just repressed and gay, not bisexual, but it's acceptable to ship kerry with a female V regardless of wether he wanted that or not.

It just feels hypocritical to chastise me for apparent bi erasure when I have valid reasons to believe he's actually gay, when no one bats an eye when ppl ship him with female V. Regardless of his actually sexuality, he said no. And if him being bi is relevant to how we talk abt and represent his sexuality, then his consent matters in how we talk about and represent him.

while i have only actually watched doctor who and casanova and this video essay i feel kind of pretty safe dying on the hill that he does care a lot about queer rep (bi rep included) he's just, like.. unhinged about it. refuses to make it palatable. i think it's fair to say that the rep he makes doesn't resonate with every bi person or can perpetuate biphobic stereotypes but i think it's also fair to say that he did a lot for pioneering it in the first place. i never watched torchwood but if every main character's kissing a guy and a girl on screen there then like, i do think this is something that matters to him

So, like, I agree playersexuality in RPGs can be limiting from a storytelling/character depth/character agency/etc standpoint, and that is very true.

But also, I don't want to have to be a guy to romance the characters I want to romance.

I mean, thankfully mods for Bastila and Handmaiden and Morrigan and Cassandra exist, but honestly, if it's a choice between the most appealing lady being straight or being playersexual, I'd take playersexual every goddamn time.

This does not mean playersexuality is a superior choice from a writing or game design standpoint, far from it.

But if it means I get romance the female character that I like the most for that, I prefer it personally, in the games I play.
