That was before you. Before you came walking into Family Video, looking for a job. Before Keith hired you on the spot, because he always liked hiring the pretty girls. And god, were you pretty.

Beautiful, in fact. The most beautiful Steve had ever seen. He no longer noticed the girls who came into the store, because you were right there. Robin noticed immediately and started teasing him about it all the time.

“Too scared to ask her out, little Stevie?” She’d tease, Steve rolling his eyes and throwing the candy he was eating at her.

But the truth was, he was too scared. He didn’t think he could take it if he asked you out and you said no. For one, he’d have to work with you still and see you everyday after the most embarrassing denial of his life. And second, he cared too much about you. Most of the time he’d ask a girl out and if she said no it might bruise his ego a little, but with you? It would be earth shattering.

So he just looked. From afar. And admired. There was a lot to admire, he thought. The way your clothes hugged your curves, showing off your body. The view of your ass when you bent over to shelve some tapes or help a customer find what they wanted. The way your hair was always perfect, he so badly wanted to brush it off your shoulder and kiss your neck. How soft your lips looked, how perfect he knew they would feel pressed against his own. He needed a taste.

He had never been scheduled to work alone with you, always accompanied by Robin or Keith. But when Robin got hit with the flu and called out, it left only the two of you.

Steve said your name in shock when you walked in right on time on your own, and you looked at him like he’d grown another head. “Yeah?”

“What- what are you doing here?”

You stared at him. “I…work here?”

Steve shook his head, willing himself to get his thoughts together. “No, yeah. I mean, like, it’s just us today?”

“Yeah, you didn’t hear?” You asked, pulling your vest on over your striped shirt and walking to the back room to leave your bag. “Robin’s sick. Just us today.”

Steve wasn’t sure if he should be celebrating or running far away. Instead he watched your ass as you walked into the back room, quickly averting his gaze when you came back out.

It was a quiet evening at Family Video. Not many customers came in, and it left you and Steve in awkward silence or stilted conversation. It seemed like no matter how hard he tried, Steve couldn’t get a coherent thought out when it came to you.

“What’s your favorite movie?” He asked.

You thought for a minute, and Steve thought you looked so cute when you were contemplating. “Maybe The Rocky Horror Picture Show.”

“Really?” He asked. He wouldn’t have guessed that. “I’ve never seen it.”

“Oh, you have to,” you said. “It’s so unbelievably good. Good songs, too. What about you?”

“What about me?”

“What’s your favorite movie?” You reminded him with a laugh.

“Oh,” Steve thought. “Um, Animal House.”

“Animal House?” You laughed.

“Yeah! It’s a good movie!”

You shook your head, grinning. “I’ll take your word for it.”

The day went on, Steve unable to take his eyes off of you. He was distracted dealing with customers, shelving movies in the wrong place. “Uh, dingus,” he could practically hear Robin’s voice in his head, “just talk to her.”

He thought he would, and he tried to work up the courage all day, but before he knew it the day was over and it was closing time. He cursed himself for ruining his chance as the two of you straightened up and wiped down the counters. When you were done, you both headed into the back room to grab your stuff.

God, you looked so good. So pretty. He loved those jeans you were wearing, your striped top showing off your boobs in a way he definitely appreciated. He was practically drooling as he grabbed his car keys and slid his vest off. When you turned and looked him in the eye, it startled him- he’d been caught.

“So…” you said, a slight grin on your pretty lips. “Are you just going to keep staring or are you going to kiss me?”

Steve blinked in surprise. Had you really just said that, or had he finally lost it? “Huh?” He asked, like an idiot.

You looked at him. “Steve, you’ve been staring at me all day. Since I got hired, actually.”

A blush rose to his cheeks. “I…”

“It’s okay…” You said quietly, taking a step closer to him. “I like you, too. So are you gonna kiss me or not?”

Steve wasn’t about to let this chance go to waste, dream or not. He closed the distance between you and placed his hands on either side of your face, pulling you into a kiss. Your lips felt just as soft as he imagined. He had never kissed someone who’s lips felt as perfect against his, he swore he could see the metaphorical fireworks.

He moved his hands down to grasp at your waist as your arms slid around his neck. He lifted you and sat you on the table, standing between your thighs and kissing you deeply, tongue tracing along your bottom lip. You easily let him in, your tongues moving together in a way that gave Steve butterflies.

His hands gripped your hips, caressing your body with his large hands as he kissed you. He pulled you closer to him, as close as you could get. God, this was even better than his dreams.

When he pulled back he rested his forehead against yours. You both breathed heavily, big smiles on your faces as you looked into each other’s eyes.

“Go out with me sometime?” He asked, squeezing your hips, his forehead nuzzling against yours.

“Duh,” you laughed. “At least you finally asked.”

Stay busy!! Do you see those it girls like Serena Van Der Woodsen scrolling on their phone all day? No, you rarely do. It girls are always busy doing something. So, therefore do some self care, study, workout, read, journal, go shopping, go on solo dates, hang out with friends, paint, have a dance party, etc. Do fun activities and take care of yourself. Another example of a busy it girl is, Elle Woods. Elle Woods wasn’t becoming one with the couch everyday. She had goals to achieve. She had people that doubted her to prove wrong. So get up! Start planning out your day or week. Start making goals!!

Have goals! You wanna know why you’re bored all the time? Well, it’s because you have no goals. You practically don’t have a life because all you do is sleep, eat, scroll, and repeat. You’re wasting time doing nothing. You could’ve had a clean room by now. Maybe you could have finished that book. Whatever it is, you could have had it. You could’ve been 1% better than yesterday. You don’t though because you have no goals. That time you’re wasting, can be used toward your goals. It can be used toward your dream life. Maybe, you do have goals? Yet you don’t even take action. What are you waiting for? For someone to do the work for you? No, get up and start taking action.

Be mindful of what you consume online!! Just like how who you surround yourself with affects you. What you consume online affects how and who you are. For example, listening to sad music makes you feel sad. Music is meant to tell a story that you feel deeply. You may not even relate to the song, but you feel as if you do. So, you become sad and continue to listen to sad music. When listening to uplifting music you gain confidence. You still feel like you relate to the song. Just with a more positive effect. As for what you watch and read. Don’t read/watch stuff that will put you down. Watch/read content that will help you.

Complimenting yourself every time you pass the mirror!! Some may say it’s cringy, but DO IT. Would you rather be cringy or be the best version of yourself? Exactly, so either say it out loud or in your head. Say it even if you might not believe it. Say it because you deserve it! Try to be creative with your compliments. Not all compliments have to be about your looks. It could be your personality, your thoughtfulness, how creative you are, etc. Also loosen up, be your own hype girl. When you see the mirror you could say, “Omg I look like the main character.” “Oh wait, I am!” Lastly, don’t forget to have fun with hyping yourself up.

Mediating or journaling when stressed!! When stressed we start to feel a lot of tension. So, that’s why meditating is so important to do when stressed. All you have to do is sit down and focus on breathing. Plus, It calms down your nerves, relaxes the mind, body, and soul. Not just that, but plenty of other benefits. Which includes, helps focus, betters mood, helps you sleep, slows down aging, etc. As for journaling, it’s practically free therapy! That is, at least in my eyes. All you need is a notebook, a pen or pencil, and yourself. Journal what’s making you stressed or anxious. Let all your emotions out, write freely. Your words don’t have to make sense. Nor do you need to have perfect writing. In fact, when you journal it may be all over the place. However or whatever you write, just let it out.

Expressing your gratitude!! Life is so beautiful and has so much meaning. So, either write down what you’re grateful for or thank God. You are so blessed to be here today. That is only just one thing to be grateful for. There are so many things to be grateful for, air, family, friends, your mind, being born as you, water, books, food, shoes, clothes, and so much more!! Express your gratitude everyday. It could be the most random thing like, a poster. As long as you’re truly grateful, then express it.

7. Having a low screen time!! Cliché, I know but it’s true. Your devices are consuming you. Think about what you use your device(s) for. Good examples are, for work, for motivation, tips, workout videos, inspiration, knowledge, and maybe even faith reasons. Now here are bad examples, procrastinating, sinning, hating on others, scrolling, because you’re bored, to watching videos of people that make you insecure, and lastly to cope with something. Which to clarify, trying to cope by using your phone, I understand somewhat. On the other hand, it could make what you’re coping with worse. I say that because there are so many studies on why our phone is bad for us. Seriously, so many and we are completely unaware of the damage it does. So for that reason, try to use your phone only for the good. I know you’re probably going to make an excuse. Which we all do and that’s ok, but please try.

8. Encouraging yourself to do better!! You should always be working hard to be 1% better everyday. So on the days you don’t feel like doing anything, encourage yourself. Show up for yourself, you will be so happy after. Lastly, trust yourself to get whatever done!!

9. Having a healthy sleep schedule!! For me, I try to aim for 8-11 hours of sleep. For others, it may be 7-10 hours of sleep. Whatever makes you feel the most well-rested should work. Just try to be consistent and mindful of the time. I also recommend to be off your phone for at least 30-60 minutes before going to bed. It will improve how you sleep a lot. That also being said, try not to be on your phone when you wake up either. It’ll help improve your health by a lot. Especially, the health of your brain and eyes. As I had mentioned, try to be consistent. Set a certain time to go to bed and turn off your phone. Then, get your lovely beauty sleep gorgeous!!

10. CLEANING!! The last habit is, cleaning. Now, I don’t just meaning cleaning your room or house. I mean even your body and mind. For starters, a clean room equals a clean mind. Therefore, stop procrastinating and start cleaning. Turn on some fun music and maybe even romanticize cleaning. Just make it fun and DEEP clean. I know someone reading this has been procrastinating on cleaning. You know who you are, so clean everything. Then, for cleaning the mind a little extra meditate. I feel like I already went over a bit about meditation. So lastly, for the body, take your showers consistently. Also, please wear deodorant. I see way too many people nowadays not wearing deodorant. Seriously, wear your deodorant.

He’s worshipped you since the moment he laid eyes on you, he’d kiss the ground you walk on and lay in your path so your feet never touch it.

He wasn’t sure if you didn’t know or didn’t care, but he was so entirely devoted to you that it didn’t even matter.

“It’s never gonna happen.”

Suguru’s voice fell on deaf ears, his friend far too focused on his so called “one true love”. He was practically burning holes into you with his stare, but the thought of you catching him didn’t cross his mind.

“Stop being creepy,” Suguru spat, nudging Satoru to catch his attention this time.

Satoru kissed his teeth, “I am not being creepy,” he defended. “Don’t they look incredible today?”

Suguru couldn’t help but cringe at the lovesick expression on Satoru’s face. It was dramatized with the intent of aggravating him, but he knew better than anyone that it was still very real.

“You say that everyday.”

It’s true, Satoru did say that everyday. But it wasn’t his fault you always looked so incredible.

Before Suguru could even blink, Satoru was on you like a magnet.

“Hey Toru,” your voice rang like a church bell. You missed it, but the staggering 6’3 boy’s knees buckled at the sound for a moment.

“You wanna go get boba with me later?” He was so enthusiastic, practically bursting at the seams with glee.

You felt bad saying no.

“Sorry Toru, I can’t today,” you frowned, and so did he. “Nanami is helping me study after school today, but another time, yeah?”

Satoru could feel hot spit pooling at the back of his throat, the thought of you being with someone else when you should’ve been with him made him sick. Nanami was his friend, but in that moment, he wished unspeakable things upon him.

“Toru, are you okay?” You asked, waving a hand in his face.

“I’m fine,” he’s not. “I was just thinking of when I’m free next,” he’s always free for you.

“Of course, just let me know, m’kay?” You smiled, and that was more than a blessing to him.

Satoru both couldn’t fathom and couldn’t stop imagining the thought of you being with someone else. How could you do that to him?

How could you do that to him when he was so in love with you, so devoted? He’d get on his knees if you asked, pray if you wanted, give you his life if you wanted, how could you?

Satoru had always heard that prayer was the only thing that could save someone, but as far as he was concerned, you were the only one he wanted to pray to.

Whether loving you was a cult or a religion, if you had no followers, he was as good as dead.

But unrequited love is nothing but a one man cult, and it’s a bad religion to love someone who could never love you.

Priest Alucard Part 2

“Her Mother said she probably ran away and that’d she be back before long.” A Young man who had been attending the Priest’s Sunday classes since they started, answered him from across the round table. “We should still search for her though.”

The boy, whose name was Pip, had been the one to bring up your disappearance in the first place. Shifting the Groups conversation from how to find God in your everyday life to how you were most likely taken.

The Youth had begun to chatter amongst themselves, putting together and deconstructing each other’s theories regarding your disappearance.

Someone speculated that you had ran away with a lover and went to live as Modern Bonnie and Clyde. Another person wondered how you could have left without a trace, not even taking any shoes, make up, or even clothes. Alucard would interject from time to time, fueling people’s wild ideas with little hms of agreement or occasionally giving his own opinion.

Before long the church bells rung alerting the group that it was now 2:30 and time for the meeting to adjourn.

“Alright young ones,” Alucard had silently moved from his seat at the head of the table to doorway, “it was nice seeing you all as usual.” The Priest had taken to shaking everyone’s hand as they shuffled passed him and back into the Sanctuary. All but one person had left the study room.

“Are you alright Mr Bernadotte?” Alucard faced the Young man, who had taken to standing behind his chair. Pip wore an eye patch but his one visible eye swirled with many, many emotions. The most notable one being his worry for you.

“I’m fine Father,” the boy shifted his weight from his left leg to his right before walking to the door, “I just hope (Y/N) is ok.”

Pips empathy made the Priest’s eyes narrow slightly. Just what was your relationship with this young man?

Well whatever it was, it definitely wouldn’t be happening anymore. That Alucard was sure of.

A still second passed before Alucard’s hand lifted to pat the boys shoulder, “Pray for her.”

Sudden fiery footsteps followed by a blur of blonde hair ran up to the two Men before grabbing Pip from the Priest.

“Come on, we need to catch up with everyone else.”

As Seras dragged Pip away, he called over his shoulder to Alucard, “You pray too Father..”

The Priest watched the couple walk away down the hallway, their conversation drifted from his ears, before he turned on his heel and started for the basement. Alucard hymned lowly as he turned into a different hallway, his song reaching a crescendo as his hands found a rusty door knob. The door squealed as he opened and closed it behind himself.

His boots echoed through the cellar as he trekked into the inky darkness, his fingers danced in the air before pulling on a floating thread, for a lightbulb, that illuminated the lower floor.

Oh lord in heaven, seeing you like this awakened something forbidden in the Priest’s gut.

Wth no pillow or blanket, you tightly curled into a ball on a mattress, that was tucked so carefully, into the far right corner.

The drug he had procured from a traveling merchant seemed to be working well. Alucard cooed at how docile you seemed as he stepped closer to your bed. The Merchant had advised him to not use more then half of a tablet at a time but Alucard couldn’t wait and had anxiously slipped the whole capsule into your mug.

The Priest couldn’t control his excitement then and he couldn’t now (not that he truly tried to anyway), as he kicked the donated bed you slept on.

You were probably dreaming of how to tempt other men, that thought made him hit the mattress harder the next time.

“Wake up,” noticing that you still didn’t move Alucard began to grow concerned.

Had he actually put too much in your drink?

Impatient outweighed his sympathy as the Priest bent down to shake your shoulder, “get up now.”

Alucard forwent all decency, instead his shaking became rough, as he unconsciously started to dig his nails into the bone of your shoulder blade.

The pain must have been enough as you lethargically sat up. You shielded your face from the light with your hand as Alucard crouched closer, he used one hand to grip your chin and the other still clutching your shoulder.

Your throat was coarse as you reached out to him, “Father?”

Fog blanketed your mind, and its heaviness couldn’t be dispelled by simply shaking your head. When your finger tips grazed Alucard he reeled back, removing both of his hands from you and stood to his full height again.

“Don’t touch me.”

Your body slumped slightly as your arm fell. The Priest sneered down at you, his words carried by abject disgust.

Alucard lips settled into a line as he watched you look around the basement, he loved the frightened way your eyes jumped around the room.

“Do you like it?” He stepped to the side to let you get a good look at everything. Well, maybe not, as the only things down there was the mattress you laid on and a door to your left that opened to a cramped bathroom, “this is your new home!”

A noise of surprise, or perhaps fear, tumbled passed your lips.

Alucard faked a pout, “so you don’t like it? I put so much effort into making it livable for you.”

“Even cleaned up all the cobwebs,” the Priest snickered at your expression, “close your mouth you look foolish.”

Your jaw clamped shut at his teasing, making Alucard rear his head back and laugh louder, “oh dear, do I have to tell you to do everything?”

Your sight was blurred with beady tears, Father Alucard wasn’t usually so callous, in fact there had been a time when he listened to you cry about how unfair life was to you. Before.. before your relationship changed.

But even after that, Alucard had been so kind to you, sure he was a bit on the rougher side in bed, but you didn’t mind. If anything you preferred to be held down tightly by his thick hands.

Now wasn’t the time to reminisce though, even though Father wasn’t a man of few words but he always meant what he said.

“My new home?” Blinking away the wetness that clouded your eyes was nearly impossible when it kept flooding back in again. Not being able to see Father’s expression somehow made the situation worse. You knew he was looking over you in distain, but not having the opportunity to look away, made you feel the weight of it instead. The pressure from his glower was crushing your brain along with any thoughts it contained.

“Yes dear, you would do well to adjust to your living arrangements sooner then later..” His words hung heavily in the air.

How could you adjust to this life when you never asked to be here?

“What’s wrong, little dove,” Father bent at the waist to twirl on a loose strand of your hair, “was I mistaken in thinking we had a connection?”

You didn’t know what to say. Because you really had felt it too, that undeniable spark the first time he had taken you inside a cramped confessional. It had taken a while to find a comfortable position, multiple times your knees knocked into his.

But soon enough, one of Alucard’s hands was wrapped around your throat, stopping any cries before they could released, while his other was wrapped around your upper body to hold you up, sinfully coarse fingers pinched and pulled your nipples. You lived the vitality brought on by Alucard trailing his palm down your stomach to grind it against your clit. Developing your senses over time.

I was once reading a post about clairaudience and it absolutely changed my perspective early on about thinking I was making up hearing our gods. It went along the lines of how it feels to have a conversation with yourself in your head. Answering your own sentences and questions. But then comparing it to the feeling of having something or someone else answer your question. Changed my way of thinking completely. As well as Helios once or twice going “make me talk.”

I tried. It felt really strange, unnatural and awkward. Then he actually answered me.

I trusted myself a lot more from then on.

I don’t talk to other people with clairaudience so I’m unsure how it works for others, but for me, it was a gradual thing and by the time I realized I did have highly developed psychic senses, for a good minute I was under the impression I had some level of psychosis lol.

At first it was just singular words, then tiny phrases, and then I could have closer to full on conversations. I still have some days where it’s “off” and I don’t get anything. But on most I’m able to fully tune in, focus on a god or entity’s energy and what they’re trying to tell me. Giving channeled messages has been so fucking rewarding, especially when I think about how all this started for me.

When Lord Hermes encouraged me to start giving readings and messages I was unsure if I'd do well. But after doing this for a few weeks I know this is what I was meant to do. This is my path. I love it so much and I thank the gods everyday (and then some) for working with me in this way and how much they’ve encouraged me in my life.

Sensing someone in my room is enough, to be honest. Since I’ll head over to my decks immediately to see what’s up. And sometimes while I’m pulling I’ll get phrases, songs, and full sentences. But I don’t need it anymore, not always. It’s good for clarity, though.

I have lots of funny stories from a few months ago of some gods finding it quite funny that I was in such disbelief about my abilities. I doubted myself a LOT, so much. I constantly prayed to Dionysus for help on quieting my mind. That ended in many conversations about differing the voices of gods to voices that may genuinely come from my head.

And this is just about clairaudience, not any of the other senses I’ve developed that have absolutely spooked the hell out of me. Smelling things, seeings our gods in my minds eye, tastes that are usually unpleasant, and touches that feel like rubbing your socks on a carpet and then touching a doorknob ☠️

It’s opened me up to an entire world I can’t wait to indulge myself in and explore. And I can’t wait to be able to help others do the same too. I hope I can find friends that are like me sometime soon. I know they’re around here somewhere. 🩶
