I think a side effect of de-aging Thorin in the movies and still presenting Fíli and Kíli as his definitive heirs is making him gay-coded. I want to know who else is out there has an issue with speaking up?

When I was 12, I told a friend who I knew would tell my parents that my brother was molesting me. When we finally met, I realized that they spoke to him first and he was their golden child and whatever he said, I echoed because I was terrified. My mother is still a boy mom and my dad is a fucking loser.

When I was 14, I told a teacher. They told my mom. My mom told her friend who decided to ask me, what i didn't realize at the time, leading questions about me being gay (open secret). He decided that my lesbian experience was what I was talking about and not the escalating molestation from my brother.

My father blamed me for who I told, said it was my crush on the teacher. My mother called me a liar for months. Would shout at me in the hallway at home. Would wake me up at night to talk to me about myself, threatening to beat me. That went on for months until I stayed with my uncle briefly. It didn't improve when I came back home. Nobody did anything to protect me. They ripped up my police report. Stopped my psychologist visits. Pressured me to talk to my brother.

I was already cutting myself to deal with the fact that this was happening and nobody took my anger at my brother seriously. This boy used me as his own personal sex toy for years and ... started again or tried to start again when I was home from university. I don't know. Everybody I'm blood related to is a fucking poison in this world. Who's not a menace is a fucking coward.

There's so much to say and even though none of you know me, I still feel terrified that speaking up in anyway will ruin my life. I always wrote in my journal. I found out after my mother put me out that she went through it, deemed it all lies. I only started back writing comfortably in 2021 ish.

I wish I lived a different life almost everyday because I have to live every year seeing all my dreams be deferred. Sometimes I wish I did kill myself so I wouldn't have to deal with knowing that what I dream of may never come.

So yeah I panicked and deleted that other post because one of you assholes said I let my father treat me that way. But also, it is so so so so difficult to speak up. I live alone now and I have to practice EVERYTHING with EVERYONE so that I make sure I am safe. I work very hard to make sure every step I take will hopefully bring me closer to the life I deserve.

Don't let being online and being angry make you treat your sisters like trash. We're all fucking going through it. Our traumas probably look like intersecting venn diagrams.

jackie hits eddie a lot. like a lot a lot. usually she just slaps him on the arm or over the back of the head, but the sweet fragile vibe that she has with the rest of the team evaporates whenever eddie acts up (breathes)

eddie hates jeff with a passion because one time jeff tried to mansplain something he learned about world war one (except he stole the information from a movie on world war two and eddie is highly abnormal about history). jackie hates all the girls eddie's dated not because he has bad taste but because even before she knew he was gay, she could tell that he was only dating them for gifts (cigarettes, cassettes, collectibles). jackie is so neutral on travis she had to ask "who" after spending two months out in the wilderness with everybody.

jackie's much closer to their parents than eddie is. ever since he was outed to them in 1993, they refuse to kick him out but also refuse to treat him normally. jackie doesn't know much about what goes on at home because shes usually out at practice, parties, studying, or up in her room with jeff.

eddie kept all the old cassettes that jackie wanted to throw out even though jackie swears up and down that she doesnt listen to "old" artists like madonna anymore (she still sings along when she hears him playing her music)

if jackie were to live (no crash au), eddie's life probably wouldnt go all that different, minus the fact that eddie would be living on the west coast (no fear of planes). one of my friends has an oc that he pairs up with jackie so im sorry jackieshauna truthers but she ends up with him instead. eddie's the uncle with the job you dont understand until youre around 13 or 14 whos always doing something to spoil his nieces/nephews. look at my oc hes lowkey just a chill guy /ref

“She can’t even fit into her dress.” Jackie muttered under her breath. Eddie looked across the clearing to see Shauna swaying to the acapella music awkwardly. He snorted.

“And whose fault is that?” He mumbled the snide comment, leaning in closer to Jackie so no one could hear them. “Sure as hell isn’t yours that she's trashy. Or that she chose that God-awful dress.” He sipped his berry wine, the taste growing on him.

“Ugh. Don't make me think about it.” Jackie sighed.

“You want me to request a song from the DJs?” Eddie pointed with his pinky over to Crystal, Akilah, Gen, and Melissa, who were all harmonizing Hotel California -by Crystal's instruction- as the others danced. 

“What song?” Jackie asked tiredly. 

“Trust me, its one of your favorites.” Eddie lied. Jackie smiled, allowing it.

Eddie walked over to the choir group, past Javi, who was trying to convince Travis that he should be allowed to drink the berry wine. Travis relented right as Eddie whispered the song name in Crystal’s ear. She nodded and brought the song to an end - there wasn't much in the way of instrumentals and the portion with lyrics had already been sung. Crystal conferred with the rest of the group as Eddie took his place next to Jackie. They started humming the opening to the song, and it took a second for Jackie to realize what Eddie had chosen. She looked up at him. 

“No- no, I’m not doing it.” She couldn't hide the amused grin on her face. 

“See that girl, watch that scene,” 

“You don't have a choice, sorry Jacks, rules are rules.” Eddie shrugged, smiling wide.

“-digging the dancing queen…”

“C’mon, I’ll embarrass myself too.” Eddie pulled her by the hand onto the ‘dance floor’. They had a routine for that song that Eddie knew she still remembered. Jackie stumbled over the first few steps, but eventually started to dance side by side with Eddie, laughing. It was corny, it was dorky, it was evenings after the dust from their arguments would settle, and he and Jackie would watch movies and have dance-offs together. Eddie almost tripped over a branch, and glanced up at Travis, who was smiling at them. 

“Anybody could be that guy…” 

Jackie twirled Eddie around, a move that was clearly intended for a time when Eddie was significantly shorter than her. A few others started joining in. Tai and Van were giggling like crazy as they danced with each other. Mari pulled Akilah from the singer's group for a moment to join her. 

Eddie remembered exactly when they had last danced to that song. He had been about twelve, Jackie fifteen, and it came on the speakers at some family friend’s wedding. He and Jackie had stolen the show, and by that he meant they had danced horribly and everyone had laughed at their performance. That was good. That was the point.

Out of breath, the song winding down, Eddie stumbled out of the dance clearing to sit next to Travis on his log ‘bench’. As the girls started to hum the beginning to Heat Of The Moment, Travis placed a quick peck on Eddie’s cheek. Eddie turned to glance at him, both of their faces red. They weren't exactly trying to hide what was going on anymore, especially not after the celebration that Tai and Van’s kiss had earned. But Eddie still felt giddy at the fact that they didn't have to hide anything. He saw Javi at the other side of the clearing, a cup full of berry wine, looking back and forth at his brother and Eddie, confused, before shrugging and taking a swig. 

“You gonna keep him from a lifetime of alcoholism?” Eddie nudged Travis, who laughed. 

“Ah- who the hell cares anymore?” Travis tilted his head as he watched the rest of the group dance and sing their hearts out. “End of the world, and all.”

My theory for P3 is that he is what P2 thinks he could never be. Think of it, P3s character is very much different from P2, he's annoying, his humor, while edgy, is a bit more stupid and, you know, 2010's can i has cheeseburger type of deal, he is a fucking pedophile, and, in general, his actions, while they still hurt others, he's a lot more playful with them, which is especially easy to see in Paradise Lost. He messes with P2, makes him go through stuff and fight a whole bunch of people, what seems to be just for shits and giggles. While P2 nukes the city, because he doesn't give a fuck. As well as the "I'm not a bigot" thing, while yeah, I would probably say P3 isn't really that much more racist that P2, he is definitely homophobic! So, he's 1 point above P2 in his bigotedness.

While, yeah, both of them are Postal Dudes, they have the dark humor and edge, they express it differently. And Just, let me compare them real quick in physical matters.

P2: Balding, built like a chopstick, poorly shaved, greasy looking skin and hair, biggest eye bags I have ever seen.

P3: broad shoulders, visible body mass, stylish hair, and even tho he's homeless and drinks like crazy, some how he looks clean. (Bonus: badass gloves.)

Also, P3 has a very fragile masculinity, and while P2 could handle going around town in a gimp suit while everybody laughs? P3 was scared that someone will see him use a segway, because "that's gay". You make that guy go through what P2 had to go, and he will combust on the spot!

Lets also adres his addiction. P2 is a crackhead, no doubt in that, we all know it. P3?? You don't even have health pipes in that game, what are you talking about- (P3 does mention them, but since they are not present in the game, we can imagine that he either quit, or just isn't addicted to them)

My point is, since P3 is made up by P2's imagination, he is kind of the Tyler Durden for him. P3 is all that P2 is not. He's handsome, he's masculine, he's playful and stupid, and he gets the hot chick and he lives an amazing life and everybody loves him! But on the other hand, he is also all that P2 would rather dismiss and just forget as any other intrusive though that pops into someones head. Like, "What if I'm the president and I press the red button??" or "What if my Uncle is actually related to Osama Bin Laden and is now after me??" when you know fucking well that those scenarios are VERY unreal, and you just go "Yo, what the hell?? Why would I think about that??", P3 and Catharsis, manifest all those things into themselves, and this guy comes to life just to annoy the shit out of P2.

To finish it off. Imagine all your weird ideas and insecurities come to live into 1 person. They look like the perfect version of you, except they only speak in the most recent memes, and make your life a living hell, more than it already was. I would also drop kick his ass back to the back of my mind.

[BatIM Cthulhu AU] A couple of doodles from session two, which UNSETTLED SAMMY A LOT ACTUALLY...

There have been small changes, throughout New York -- doors opening on the wrong side of the street, houses ending up just a block away from where you remembered them -- but the only people who can even tell seem to be those who remember Carcosa. Joey, Sammy, Henry, Jack, Peter, and Norman all experienced the strange shifting realm when a Mardi Gras party attempted to bring dread Carcosa to New Orleans, but Susie wasn't there. She can't see the changes we see, and the entire rest of the city agrees with her. That door was always there? The car was always that colour. That's where I remember the address being before, and there's no record it was ever different.

She trusts what the boys are reporting must be true, that maybe there are changes she can't see or remember, and both she and Sammy are terrified. These are only little things, but as more and more of the city slips into the world of the King in Yellow, what else might be rewritten...?

Yk that episode where Dean and Anna hook up, before she gets her grace back? And yk how Dean does not have any surviving kids?

What if...WHAT IF

Anna actually got pregnant that night but the baby is not a full nephilim, but maybe like just very, very little? So the baby sort of flies under the radar, and Anna does some angel mojo to hide her pregnancy, and then there is a Dean Jr. out there, but nobody knows?

And in the future we have Sam's kid meet Dean's kid, and Dean's kid is not a hunter, but he's always running into....weird stuff. And he meets this kid and the kid goes huh, you look like my uncle...who's dead. And Dean's kid is like...what? And he's like 30 something, so he has to deal with this crazy teenager telling him that what he actually saw was a rougarou or a demon, which makes Dean's kid want to call someone and get this kid some help.

Until one day....Dean's kid stumbles onto Sam's kid exorcising a demon. And it all just happens in a daze because he's just trying to process. Kansas is playing in the background as Sam's kid brings Dean's kid to meet Sam. Everybody cries.

I cry, too. Somehow, Castiel shows up and he's like "Dean? I got out...Not Dean? Who are you?"

And then a whole new Supernatural begins because this Castiel is Castiel, but in a different body. And he has to learn everything all over again. And this time, the main characters are allowed to be gay on screen and have a nice sloppy gay kiss at the end of the series.

Wayne ambushes Eddie in his room one afternoon with a serious look on his face; his brows furrowed, and his mouth pulled into a disappointed frown. Eddie's only ever seen that expression once, and it was when he broke Wayne's favourite mug.

"Son, are these yours?" He asks.

"What - oh, fuck." Pure fear washes over Eddie as he finally notices the very explicit magazines in his uncle's hand. He'd bought them years ago when he first started questioning his sexuality; he'd shoved them under his shirt and ran all the way home to avoid accidentally bumping into someone. He'd only had to peek at one page that featured a very handsome, very naked man to realise that, yep, he definitely likes men.

But he'd forgotten to throw them away. He stares at the offending magazines in Wayne's hand and runs through every excuse in his mind, but none of them make sense.

"Those aren't mine." Is what he brilliantly lands on. The crack in his voice and the embarrassed flush on his cheeks gives him away immediately. Wayne just sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose, almost like he expected that answer.

"Well, they aren't mine." He looks at the magazines in his hand and says something that has Eddie choking on his own spit. "I don't buy this brand; the pictures are bad quality, and mine are actually safely hidden away, unlike yours." He says it with a straight face, but a small smile slowly creeps onto his lips, a smile that says he's not really mad at him. "Put these under your mattress like everybody else does." He places the magazines onto Eddie's desk and then just... leaves.

He leaves like he didn't just admit that he buys gay porn magazines as well.

The fact he'd said it like they were discussing the weather or sport is what stuns Eddie the most. It had taken him years to get the courage to even say the words 'I'm gay', and here's his uncle, essentially coming out to him by discussing porn mag preferences.
