TW: Mention of pet play, reader isn't the pet lol
You had always known that Michael is an eccentric, from day one to the endless months that passed in between terrible woo techniques that in the end, you feel for. So after 1 year together, you thought you knew him pretty well to understand more or less what was spinning around his head. For sure you didn’t expect to choke on your coffee at 6 a.m. after hearing that
“Ohi! Don’t die, this isn’t the kind of gossip I like going around me! And not during my free day!”
“You ass”
So, after taking a deep breath the gears of your brain start to work again and the declaration finally settles.
“So…you are into pet play?”
Oh, a blushing Michael is always a gorgeous sight to start a good day.
“Yes.”
Look he’s twirling his hair so cute!
“So you want me to become, I don’t know… your kitty?”
“N-not exactly-“
Okay, the gears of your brain have to keep going, because you are clearly missing a point-
“I want to be your pet.” Michael says, almost choking with his own saliva.
Oh. OHHHH.
And now you can’t get out the idea of your darling Michael with soft kitty ears and maybe a cute tail to match, going back and forth following the desperate movements of his hip.
You can’t have these kinds of thoughts first thing in the morning; no way you can’t go on with your day normally after this.
“Ok, it’s good for me Michael, but…wouldn’t we need a leash and a co-“
“I already bought everything”
My God, you have never seen Michael being so bashful in all the time you have been together, he must be so serious about this.
Worse than all you can’t keep your brain from imagining him between your legs, collared and everything, face covered in fluids, crossed eyes, such a fucked up face, asking, no, begging you to pull the leash, because at every tug his cock twitch and for real, he looks delicious.
Your pretty little masochist kitty.
Michael meanwhile must have understood what is going on in your mind and from a frown his lips are morphing into a teasing smirk.
If he really know what was going on you weren’t so sure he would be smiling.
You take his face in your hands, your cute little pathetic meow meow, you can feel him sweating cold, Michael’s face scream challenge, but you know deep down that if you don’t do something soon he is gonna shit himself.
You give him a soft kiss on his nose, unexpected since he widened his eyes
“I have to go out today when I come home I want the house cleaned to perfection-“
And you can already see the sneer on his face because no way THE Michael Kaiser is gonna do house chores, he totally gonna ask Ness or pay-
“Kitten~”
Floored, grounded, time stopped, his breath too.
You leave the house chuckling already knowing all the chores are gonna be done and dreaming about how to reward your good boy.

The Fontaine main cast are all so thematically, emotionally, and narratively connected to each other that you can ship them in nearly every way and it somehow works.
I'm talking Furina, Neuvillette, Arlecchino, Clorinde, Navia, and Wriothesley here.
Wriolette? The upholders of the order of Fontaine. One on the surface, and one in the depths.
Clorivia? Childhood friendship, betrayal, and now healing with the truth and past resolved.
Neuvifuri? 500 years of closeness and understanding, mixed with distance and regret. Only after her sacrifice are they finally both free.
Arlefuri? Changing their fates through sheer force of will. Protecting the people who need on them, while accepting nothing in return.
Wriolinde? They were going to protect Fontaine together if its the last thing they do. Their trust is unbreakable.
Arlevia? Protecting their loved ones beyond the law. With a system and world that did not care for them, they care for their family their own way.
Knavilette? The seemingly cold and distant with bleeding hearts. They always keep their distance for fear of what would happen in a moment of weakness, especially with their overwhelming power.
Navilette? Personal regret with injustice and loss, now healing with compassion and understanding.
Furinde? The selfless princess and her loyal champion. She has always been by her side, protecting her with her blade, but only now does she get to know the real "Furina"
There are even more I haven't touched on (lemme know if you'd appreciate it ig?). These characters are just so...so interconnected through Fontaine with its themes on justice, order, love, loyalty, and more. They really knocked it out of the park with creating such a beautiful and complex cast of characters.

@orangerosebush's post here, with my comment and @fowlblue's tags today got me thinking.
Artemis Senior has been teaching his son matters of business from a young age. Not only was Artemis, at 11 years old, discussing stocks with his father, but Fowl Senior had been imparting his wisdom onto his son for years by that point, discussing the ever-increasing value of gold with him before tucking him into bed. Even outside of pure monetary value, Sr. had tried to go legitimate with his business dealings, leading Artemis to have a few legal ventures of his own.
We also see very early on in the books that Artemis has been regularly using Butler as a resource for his plots: bouncing ideas off him was apparently a fairly common tactic when he was scheming.
Both Artemis Senior and Butler are interested in (or at least, not opposed to) educating Artemis on the ways of their lifestyle(s). It would be Artemis Senior who would have taught his son the value of banks and safety deposit boxes and hidden safes but it was Butler who was actively working with Artemis to rob those safety deposit boxes.
In the same vein of breaking-and-entering, TLC also gives us the fun little moment where Butler hands Artemis his own lockpicks, to get into the workings of the bomb.
With one line we learn that Artemis knows how to pick locks, but does not have his own set of lockpicks. Butler, on the other hand, has both the tools and knowledge how to use them. Partnered with a brief mention in TTP of some the specific trades of those previously employed by Artemis Senior (including such things as crime lords, insider traders, and cat burglars), we can extrapolate that Artemis Senior would generally hire someone to pick a lock for him, rather than do so himself.
It's pretty logical to conclude then that Artemis learned big-picture management from his father, and day-to-day skillsets from his bodyguard.
Essentially, Artemis Senior taught Artemis how to run a criminal empire. Butler taught Artemis how to be a criminal.
