Wondering if they’ll be going bionic hand or POWER CLAW. do you have any Extra Prosthetic Mods installed? I think they all deserve a painstopper at lEAST.

Kwahu absolutely keeps Mechi awake at night, gushing about what replacement part would be the coolest. He doesn't need a power claw because he's mostly a long-range fighter, he doesn't need a drill arm or a field hand because we have mechanoids to do all the mining and gardening, so he'll probably end up with a regular bionic arm.

Still, it's fun to imagine all the awesome things he could end up with! Fun for Kwahu, that is. Mechi probably just wants to go to sleep (and might be a teeny bit jealous that there aren't as many options for leg replacements).

In the whole “what would the Starks do if Jon’s parentage ever came to light” debate, the most interesting figure to me is Robb Stark. Ned is already caught between a rock and a hard place: duty and love to both his king and his sister’s son, though he already committed treason once to save Lyanna’s boy. Catelyn the embodiment of the Tully words, “family, duty, honor”, is fiercely loyal to her husband and children - but not to Jon. So if she was ever put in a position to choose, it’s obvious what she would do. Then there’s Robb. He’s his father’s heir, his mother’s pride. He’s named after Robert Baratheon, the ruling king of the seven kingdoms, as a testament to his father’s upbringing and love for his friend. But Jon is his brother; his best friend; his greatest companion. Where Ned’s choice would leave him conflicted, Robb doesn’t share the same loyalty to the king. So when forced to fight for the crown or his brother’s life, he’d obviously choose his brother. Which would be an interesting twist of fate. Ned and Robert rebelled for their lives many years prior. How interesting it would be for the boy who bears Robert’s name and the boy who bears Ned’s face to rise in rebellion again.

I love how over time kid xelqua has become less just baby grian and more grian's kid who he found in the woods/somehow created and now the kid represents all of grian's childhood trauma and Catholic guilt and grian is just trying to break the cycle bc there's this magic fucking baby who is the best thing in the world

JKAGJKD yes Exactly, see evo Grian has a lot of family issues, from being an orphan, to the Watchers, he has ISSUES, so raising a version of himself is..... definitely odd, but weirdly healing.. He sees how he was as a kid, he wasn't that bad, he was just a kid ! He didn't deserve to be abandoned or anything. He sees all of his ache in Xelqua, he's very much breaking the cycle.

I refuse to go into more detail, but, I will no longer hold my tongue. my biggest gripe with this fandom is the way a majority of it erases Lo'ak's actual trauma and struggles (with his identity, his father/family, his clan, etc), and essentially gives him Spider's traumas/struggles in some idealized form (whether for over the top and oversimplified "hurt/comfort" scenarios, or max woobification), while absolutely dragging and/or ignoring Spider's entire character and the realistic depictions of those traumas and what that does to a kid.

like I can't exactly put words to it or go into a deep analytical post, but I've been thinking about it, and some other stuff I've seen online have been making me think about it.

Wolfstar + jegulus Au where prongsfoot met in uni and neither of them know who each other's boyfriends are (moonwater are best friends who both go to Oxford on scholarship) and they decide to do a double date to meet each other's boyfriends.

But both Regulus and Sirius are trans but haven’t seen each other in years and so they don’t know about each other. And whenever James or Remus says their boyfriends names neither of them realise, because that's not the name they knew their sibling by. 

Sirius still ran away when he was 16, Regulus ran away when he got his scholarship to Oxford, Walburga and Orion wanted him to go to Cambridge to Study law like Orion did but Regulus wanted to study english literature. 

So Regulus and Remus get to the cafe early and are just sitting there shittalking the faculty at Oxford. And James and Sirius walk in, five minutes late and both Sirius and Regulus immediately get the feeling they know each other. Once they're all sat at the table they are both subtly trying to scope each other out when Sirius says something about his ‘sister’ and Regulus immediately clocks it and they get into an argument. Remus and James are trying to figure out what happened and calm their boyfriends and their best friends. 

Anyway the double date ends up being Sirius and Regulus catching up and their respective boyfriends trying to recover from the whiplash. 

They do end up having another double date a few days after the initial one, this one goes slightly better. Of course after Regulus and Sirius have grilled their best friends for dating their brothers without telling them.
