I've been feeling sad recently (dw I'm just upset cause I'm sick lol, think I'm coming down with a cold :P), so now Chester has to suffer for it -

Chester was alone

Well not physically, there's always somebody around to talk to but he still felt lonely. He was always hanging out with somebody, always going into town with them, laughing with them, enjoying their company yet he still felt alone

He appreciated the other Bugs, truly, they meant alot to him but he was worried. He didn't want to laugh with them, he didn't want to like them because he didn't want to get attached to any of them. He knew with the way they lived all the Bugs were constantly at risk of harm, if the Hunters ever found them it could end with his friends' deaths...if he grew attached this would hurt...well more than it would hurt anyways

He put up walls, he would still stick around, hang out with other Bugs but he refused to open up with them...he couldn't risk it...he couldn't risk losing another loved one. He promised himself he wouldn't love anyone ever again, he tried to remove the feeling from his heart...but there was somebody that wouldn't let that happen

Everytime Chester saw them his heart began to attack him, he could feel it kicking his chest, trying to escape...run to the one he admired. Whenever they were near Chester couldn't look away they were the only thing he could focus on.

They made him feel stupid, he was constantly embarrassing himself infront of them because they made him so fucking nervous. He once confused a Alstroemeria for a Lily because he happened to notice them across the garden! He could barely think when he was near them because he was so scared of messing up

He tried so hard to lock his feelings up, he tried to ensure that he never felt this feeling ever again, but no matter how hard he tried he couldn't block them out. He adored them, he hated them for it, he hated how enamoured they made him feel...he hated how much he loved them

He was lonely

Lonely because he couldn't admit how much he loved them

Lonely because he refused to let himself care

Lonely because he couldn't let himself have the one thing he wanted

Couldn't let himself be near the one he craved to be around

Until he was allowed to embrace the one he adored he would always be lonely </3

I really feel like one of the best details in “A Scandal in Bohemia” that I never see people fixate on enough is that the story starts with Watson stopping in to see Holmes at Baker Street on a complete whim, because he happens to see that he’s home (and Watson is now married and living elsewhere). Like he doesn’t send word first, he’s not invited, he just shows up and surprises Holmes. Which is not that weird but then Holmes is like “oh good, I’ve got a case anyway, you might as well hang out!” which just makes it funnier when the King shows up and is like “I’d really rather speak to you alone, actually” and Watson tries to leave and Holmes is just like “anything you can say to me, you can say to my best friend John Watson, and if you ask him to leave, I would consider it a grave insult, you would be my enemy and I will not help you ever!!” And the king is like “…ok” and just moves on.

like, that is crazy behavior. Holmes is talking about how there’s probably lots of money in this case, and then almost turns away the client for…not knowing who the fuck Watson is?? He’s not even supposed to be there?? He just came to say hi?? “It is both or none”… girl, GET UP.

been thinking a lot abt fwb!gojo today.... this is his first time ever doing this kind of a thing btw. i do not think he sleeps around AT ALL. but with you, he just... you start off as very good friends but then it keeps escalating – you start sitting closer and closer, your thighs always touching as you lounge on the couch. his hands seem to always find your waist in public, your seem to be in his hair more and more. and the thing is... satoru isn't all that good at deciphering his own feelings. he isn't entirely sure what this is; the butterflies in his stomach whenever you laugh at his jokes, the warmth that spreads under his skin whenever he sees you bend over. it's weird. he doesn't know what to do.

so, when one night you inch closer with your hand on his thigh, he lets you. he welcomes you with open arms. you ask whether it's okay or not and he lets out a shaky yes, his cheeks burning with something new, his eyes low and heavy as he stares at your lips. you feel so good on top of him, your body flushes to his and he thinks about how perfect this is. how much he likes it. the night is like a wet dream for him, something he's always dreamed off but when you leave the bed and hop into the shower without giving him a kiss, he doesn't even know what the weight on his heart means. where it comes from. he doesn't ponder over it for too long though as you step outside the bathroom in a shirt way too big, his shirt. he watches you get dressed and hums when you joke about his bed hair. he thinks you look gorgeous. he doesn't ask for you to stay – if this is what you want, to leave without the desire to continue your adventures from the last night, then so be it. satoru wants you to be happy. you tell him it was good and that you'd like to, perhaps, do it again and he can taste you on his tongue when he says that he feels the same. satoru will take every crumb you'll give him with a smile on his face. he won't complain and he won't ask for more, not yet at least. for now, he'll be completely and utterly at your mercy, a lapdog for you to play with whenever you so desire to do. a selfless kind of love.

Thinking about how Diavolo’s feelings transcend time and how in the Nightbringer UR+ card Demon Lord’s Castle Tour this conversation happens.

When asked, “Do you wish to see your father?”

Diavolo responds:

“I suppose I do . . .” isn’t the typical reaction to how a child would feel about wanting to see their parent. Especially when said parent has essentially been in a coma for a year.

Along with how Diavolo describe his father.

It makes more sense why when you learn in Lesson 56 how Diavolo was treated by him growing up.

Diavolo can tell when others are lying but is unable to understand his father’s intentions.

Diavolo mentions that he lived a very sheltered life growing up. That from a young age his father never allowed him a chance to talk to anyone outside the castle.

His childhood friend was Mephistopheles. A demon literally RAISED to be his friend. Putting a barrier between the two because Mephistopheles would put Diavolo on a pedestal.

The isolating childhood he experienced riddled with his strict father constantly scolding him.

Despite everything MC is so important to him he wants to see his father again so we can meet.

eleven is fascinating to me because he came right off the back of tens horrible traumatic breakdown after he lost everything and he immediately tried to establish himself as the opposite of that. he is funny and goofy and almost childlike, and he bulldozes on in his adventures with amy like nothing happened at all. but then something happens and his masks slips and it's like oh! the core of this man is still anger. he is so so angry all of the time and this façade is the only thing stopping him from being consumed by it. he isn't over any of it and he hasn't moved on. he is wearing a fez and laughing but under that all that exists is age old anger and grief and it is going to consume him
