Thinking about how Diavolo’s feelings transcend time and how in the Nightbringer UR+ card Demon Lord’s Castle Tour this conversation happens.

When asked, “Do you wish to see your father?”

Diavolo responds:

“I suppose I do . . .” isn’t the typical reaction to how a child would feel about wanting to see their parent. Especially when said parent has essentially been in a coma for a year.

Along with how Diavolo describe his father.

It makes more sense why when you learn in Lesson 56 how Diavolo was treated by him growing up.

Diavolo can tell when others are lying but is unable to understand his father’s intentions.

Diavolo mentions that he lived a very sheltered life growing up. That from a young age his father never allowed him a chance to talk to anyone outside the castle.

His childhood friend was Mephistopheles. A demon literally RAISED to be his friend. Putting a barrier between the two because Mephistopheles would put Diavolo on a pedestal.

The isolating childhood he experienced riddled with his strict father constantly scolding him.

Despite everything MC is so important to him he wants to see his father again so we can meet.

Addressing the Elephant in the Room

LILITH's LOVER / HIS IMMORTALITY / HIS PACT

— IMMORTALITY.

In Lesson 36-C, Solomon himself tells us that his immortality stemmed from tricking a grim reaper from collecting his soul by playing a game that he knows he can outwit them (thanks to the Ring of Wisdom). It's not because of the fruit Lilith died for. Additionally, the fruit was supposed to HEAL her lover from the incurable sickness, not make them immortal.

But I like to headcanon he got his immortality because of his own cooking💀

— BEING LILITH'S LOVER.

It doesn't make sense. I don't want to outwardly call out the people who believe this theory, but think about it. With the given information thus far, Solomon being Lilith's lover makes a whole bunch of plot holes.

People think he's Lilith's lover mainly for his immortality, which I already steer clear in the first one.

Had he been Lilith's lover, Asmodeus would've recognize him on the night he made a pact with him.

But no, Asmodeus claims he first met Solomon when he was in the Human Realm getting drunk and that was also the night he woke up learning he made a pact with Solomon without his knowledge.

Obey Me developers tend to follow most canon stuff in the Bible with a few differences to make their story (e.t. Lilith being Lucifer's sister instead of lover) and if they applied the cannon timeline in the Bible then Solomon should be around 1000 B.C which is a huge gap of time between the supposed 3,000-4000 B.C when the Celestial War occured.

How do I know this? Well, I'm only speculating.

In Lesson 11, Mammon claims to be around 5,000 yrs old and it seems to me that the brothers spent most of their life in the Devildom than the Celestial Realm. I think 1,000-2,000 yrs (i'm following Mammon's age in this because the brothers ages are not mentioned) in Celestial is a good time before the War broke out.

If Solomon is indeed Lilith's lover then the Brothers and Solomon would've had more tension brewing; Belphie will cuss him out in every second he has. Lucifer once said that Lilith's lover WAS A GOOD MAN. And we all know Lucifer thinks of Solomon anything but a good man, one of the minor reason was probably because Solomon tricked Asmodeus into forging a pact with him. Not a trait you'd see on a good man.

In conclusion, if Solomon is Lilith's lover, the brothers should've more familiarity toward Solomon. Not just some shady sorcerer who can massacre the whole demon race with his cooking.

I like to think Solomon met Lilith as a human reincarnate and he probably knew just by looking at her. I mean, he's the smartest of all humankind, he knew MCs name before they introduced themselves, that's saying something.

Or. . .

There was a love triangle going on between him and Lilith's lover.

In Lesson 36, Solomon vaguely mentions his failed love all the way back in his youth. Perhaps. . . it has something to do with Lilith? Lilith chose the other human over him. Le cries.

The love triangle was probably not a big deal at that time so it didn't reach Lucifer's ears.

Solomon also tells us he's not a big fan of romance, he was probably curiosity what love was all about at that time and felt the puppy love brewing with Lilith.

But as you can see in his GIF, there's a bittersweet smile in his face.

I interpret this as both of sweet that he's not suffering from loss as much as her closed ones but also bitter that even if he hasn't fell deeply for her he still lost a friend.

— HIS PACTS.

It's canon that he has over 70 demon pacts, including Asmodeus and Barbatos. Now Asmodeus forging a pact with Solomon isn't really that surprising for me regardless of what happened behind the scene.

What I personally want to know is the pact of Barbatos.

Around Lesson 50+ Barbatos revealed that Solomon managed to summon him even though he's on the brink of life and death because summoning a powerful demon such as himself can take a toll in a mortal's body. When MC asks why he would do such thing, Barbatos replied along the lines "He must be desiring something that death can't stop him from doing so."

What was it? What did Solomon want that he doesn't even consider death as an obstacle to achieve it? And mind you, Barbatos described it as if Solomon was DESPERATE.

Have you guys seen this old man being desperate to the point of dying? Imagine lesson 16, but with Solomon, and not dying. Yeah, I don't think so. This man far too smart for his own good. If summoning Barbatos is considered as his last resort then you know it's serious.

DIAVOLO'S MOTHER / BARBATOS

— DIAVOLO'S MOM.

Many people speculate Dia's mom is a human which is why he's so abnormally fond of the humans.

I mean, when do you hear the mom dying of child birth in these fantasy settings? Oh yeah, when their body couldn't handle supernatural fetus hence taking their life (e.t. Bella Swan)

If she was just another Demoness then there's no apparent reason why she shouldn't have survived childbirth unless there was unprecedented circumstances she couldn't avoid.

I'm completely sold to this theory. That's all there is to say.

— BARBATOS.

I've never seen someone so enigmatic, serious, devoted like this mf right here then be scared of some rodents. I'd understand if it's spiders or roaches, but rats? Yeah, understandable. Solomon probably threatened Barbatos to forge a pact with him if he doesn't want to get the rats.

Moving on, it was explicitly mentioned that Barbatos was never a child, meaning he just popped out fully grown. Where? I don't know, maybe he was created by some Demon similar to the Angels being created by the Father? It is also said that Barbatos is so powerful that it even rivals the Demon King himself.

Where did this mf came from???

SIMEON'S DEMOTION / SATAN / SOLOMON and the ATTIC

— DEMOTION.

Not only the brothers complete demotion from being Angels, Simeon was also demoted from being a Seraph, the Highest Ranking of Angels. It wasn't specified what he did to warrant him such punishment, but we'll probably get our answers soon.

If I were to speculate what he did based on his compassionate personality, he probably helped Lucifer and the brothers in some way that left them unscathed except Lilith.

In Season 3 Lessons, we got to know Simeon's in depth sentiment toward the brothers. He cares deeply for them and misses the time of Celestial realm where the brothers were still there.

The Angels were having the thoughts of eliminating the brothers and their treacherous sister, and they did except for the brothers.

And Simeon is probably behind the brother's safety.

Simeon is somehow similar to MC, kind and compassionate, even after learning Lilith's attempt to steal the fruit and the brother's rebellion, he probably had the thought of joining them.

But Simeon is also a righteous person who obey the rules and value himself, so he couldn't possibly join them. He lacks the courage to act to what he really wants. He's torn between his compassion and values.

The farthest thing he could've done was to discreetly aid them.

But somehow along the process, he wasn't discreet enough.

— SATAN.

One of the hints given in the stream was 'Satan and his brothers' and many people jumped to theorize something about that. All of the theories have been remarkably on point, some of which I don't understand how they correlate to Satan.

As simple as the statement is, I think the game will be focusing on the development of Satan and His Brothers after the Fall.

But then again, when did OM became very simple?💀 I kinda understand why people would go crazy over this.

In my standpoint, they chose to categorize Satan as single than the rest because Satan was never an angel, he was born Demon the moment he made a noise for the first time.

It may sound cruel, but I'm only stating facts.

Satan is by far one of the most mysterious character in OM. All of the brothers already have back stories in the Celestial Realm but Satan is a demon born out Lucifer's hatred.

'Satan and His Brothers' probably will focus on the times when Satan is still learning about the world AND HIS BROTHERS.

Yes, he mentioned he has seen the world and his brothers through Lucifer's eyes but it's only in fragments.

Now he has his own sets of eyes to see the world and to learn more about his brothers.

THIS IS THE START OF HIS STORY and HIS BROTHERS.

— SOLOMON and the ATTIC.

This sounds so random and by far the most out of the plot hint, not gonna lie. I thought OM has totally lost it. When I first read this I thought of the Attic Club but with Lilith in it. Perhaps Solomon is acquainted with the twins and Lilith?

This brings me to my theory that maybe Solomon is in a love triangle with Lilith's and her lover.

I don't even know what I'm writing at this point. OM is driving me nuts! I just want to know when will it release.

According to @simply-chaotic-richness in the comments, it's not actually Solomon and the Attic but rather 'Solomon under the same roof' which is more confusing if I may add.

Whose roof are we talking about here? Do the devs even mean this as literally or figuratively? Or maybe both?

I think I'll still stick to my understanding that maybe it has something to do with the brothers.

Maybe Solomon had to take care of Satan once and teach him what he knows, hence his intelligence, but only for a brief period of time, short enough to spark Satan's curiosity and indulge himself in the world of knowledge. I'd like to see that.

THE FORESIGHT

— FORESIGHT.

We all know Barbatos can see through the past and future. He can also make portals through different locations, even opening a portal from a different timeline. He's strong, that much is obvious. Diavolo has to make a rule for Barbatos to never use his ability unless he deemed necessary.

With that, I think we can all theorize that Barbatos must have predicted the Fall and Diavolo thought it's a good idea to help Lucifer to pledge his loyalty to him.

Why? Diavolo was still in his prime back that day, he was still trying to manage Devildom after the absence of his father. He also has the strong desire to unite all three realms by all means, and to do that he has to gather more allies and build connection.

LOTAN

Y'all probably didn't expect that, did you? Everyone's been talking about the details of the Trailer, but no one has ever been curious how Leviathan met Lotan.

In the main story, Lotan rarely appears, he only appears for comedic purpose which I think is quite funny and dumb. I've been trying to catch up in the Hard mode in hopes to get that fresh lore about Lotan, but there wasn't really anything useful, I don't think he ever appears in the Hard Levels.

Similar to Cerberus, only one person can command and tame him; Lucifer. This also applies to Lotan whose master is Leviathan.

With the new hints given to us, it's safe to say we'll be getting closure on the things we want to know regarding Lotan.

I just want to say that maybe after the Fall, Levi must have ended up near bodies of water and met Lotan along the way.

Facts about Milady #3

Has four claw marks on their left thigh and a large scar on the right forearm in their first year, both from different demons.

Gets a tattoo on each wrist in their early 30s.

Is always wearing gloves after getting their sorcerer's license.

Always has the spot under their neck covered to hide the past. However, it automatically covers Lucifer's sigil and it annoys him because he wants them to proudly show off the pact.

Can be scary and sinister when they want to be, enough to make the brothers and Diavolo unsettled. Barbatos finds it amusing.

Has a small mesh bag full of candies for Beel. Sometimes offers the sweets to the others.

Toned and slightly muscular body. Sharp senses. Almost fearless from surviving the Devildom and the demons.

In their first year, they got their ears pierced for a second time.

Devildom's influence causes them to suffer from nightmares (only in the Devildom). It was bad after the Belphie incident, mainly because of the demonic influence, and had to look to the brothers for comfort. Now, it's random when it happens but is less severe.

During their first mouth in the Devildom, they ran into the trouble of demons' high senses and explaining to five men how periods work. Asmo found the whole thing hilarious and offered some help after they were officially modified which they declined. However, a care package appeared in front of their door with everything they would possibly need by a certain demon.

Their feelings towards Lucifer and Belphie.

Will always be the unofficial student council member.

One of the brothers had to step in to protect a demon from Milady.

I finished om Nightbringer yesterday and AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH. I LOVE IT! *sobbing* I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! I HAVE SOOOOO MANY THINGS TO SAY ABOUT IT!!

*Obviously there are going to be major *Spoilers* (I finished 1 through 10, and all the extra episodes till 7, I just discovered there was hard, I wondered why hard wasn’t there and then I was like:….oh…..it is there 🤡).*

This is mainly going to be spoilers on chapter 1 (referencing events in the original game as well(Certain cards, and events till season 3)) and my analysis of it:

Okay so first off we get transported to the past by someone who met us not so long ago and we told them our name (according to them). They also said it would be considered a while ago for us (Which means they probably aren’t human and they were talking about our lifespan). Another thing was they talked about being able to see the present, future and past, which sounds like Barbatos(Barbie), but I thought it might be too obvious.

Oh yeah I went back and when you choose the option to insist on knowing his name, he tells it to us……..

Like this??? (╯ ͠° ͟ʖ ͡°)╯┻━┻Like thanks, but no thanks. Did I count the letters to make sure of something? yes I did. It has to do with another event that happens later on in the game(there are too many letters for Barbie).

So we get dropped of right where we did in the first game, except this time it’s right after The Great Celestial War (I think it would be about a year after), and we get introduced to the characters all over again and stuff, right? Except this time we get an absolutely unhinged satan

So like angry Satan, but all the time(makes sense poor baby was just born and thrown here like that)

I’m concerned to say the least

Levi and Ruri-chan are love at first sight, I kid you not he just heard her and went like: What’s that? I need it in my life!!)

MC literally makes Satan pass out and Diavolo was like: Ayyyyy! That’s cool! Do it agaiiiin! (Like why aren’t you concerned?????!?)

He gave us that attitude ( you might recognize it from when he got amnesia and some of the cards, like the glory days).

Yeah we got appointed as their babysitter……..

They made it very clear that they didn’t want a babysitter (Lucifer voiced it the strongest), but like Diavolo insisted, works out for us I guess¯\_(ツ)_/¯.Lucifer went out of his way to call MC for the first time and tell her that they didn’t need the help of an attendant and he’ll talk to Diavolo, so MC can just quit. Same thing in game, MC shows up and he’s all like we don’t need you (this was one of my favorite moments in the game, I’ll tell you why when I get to that part, but it was super funny).

My man WHY ARENT YOU CONCERNED????? Like MC knows about HoL, Diavolo: How? Anyways-

It’s clear Lucifer doesn’t trust MC and doesn’t want MC around his brothers( remember when he threatened MC at that party Diavolo had, and said he would get rid of them if they seemed to be a threat to his brothers or Diavolo? I think it’s the same thing, just this time add on the fact that they think MC is a demon.)

Oh yeah they think MC is a demon, I guess it’s sort of a logical response in that moment, cuz like what would a human be doing here in the middle of the Devildom right after the end of that whole war? And like this isn’t a sorcerer or witch that Diavolo is familiar with. No it’s just some kid with weird powers. I think they also came to that conclusion because of MC’s soul, many times in the game they hint or outright say that MC’s soul is weird, I think that MC’s soul is something between human, angel and demon.

And you’d be like why demon? See chapter 16 in the original game they needed all six brothers pacts(excluding Belphi) to open the door for Belphi, but MC opened it with just pacts from 5, so I think Lucifer didn’t consider the fact that one of their siblings magic would be within someone else(MC), so he just made the spell openable to any six of the siblings magic. And how? Lilith fell first then she got turned into a human by Dia, so she probably did turn into a demon first and carried the powers of both demon and angel with her soul or something of the sorts, which got passed down to MC.

The only problem with that theory would be the staircase.Lucifer clearly said that no demon would be able to go up the staircase other than him, and only a demon could see the door. I think that would make sense if the way he made the spell was if human/angel allow to go up stairs, if demon allow to see door, and not the opposite( if demon don’t allow to go upstairs, etc.) Cuz that way every part of MC would allow her to pass through a certain part. And if we take it that way it kinda enforces my theory not refutes it.

Mammon isn’t afraid of ghosts here, so something happened to make him afraid, they might tell us later…

That sounds so cute and sad at the same time knowing that his father was very strict with him🥹🥹 (He said so at the end of season 3).

That was a very good call. True MC knows them on a very personal level, but they’ve just been through a lot and to them MC is someone they just met, they probably feel like they couldn’t trust MC or talk about the things they’re going through with MC around.

I feel it was also a good call on the devs part to have MC pose as a demon(I really like the idea as well),cuz although the brothers might not hate humans right now per se (Belphi was alright with Solomon, I think he just still didn’t come to the conclusion it was the humans fault yet.), but like it would be a touchy subject considering what just happened.

Also on the website Belphi’s line is “Who deserves to be punished the most?” I think he’s referring to his eventual conclusion that it’s human, at the time it just hasn’t happened yet.

He followed us all the way here 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹, He’s the best mentor🥹🥹🥹. (Though I’m sure he would have been torn limb from limb if he didn’t come get us back lol).

I guess he isn’t completely unsuspicious of us, but just giving things their time? Like he’s interested in the weird being (MC) and thinks he’ll figure it out eventually?

Yeah, I’m sure it would hurt a lot if someone you thought of as family and was incredibly close to suddenly started acting cold like they didn’t know you. Like these guys reached a point where they would literally do anything for each other and now they’re all acting like they’d be just fine or even better off without MC. Even if MC knew they didn’t mean any harm and that they weren’t the same brothers they knew I bet it would hurt. I could totally imagine MC suddenly having a full mental breakdown, cuz it’s hard and painful and hopeless. It really helps that Sol is there for them.🥹🥹

So THAT’S how it ended up in the freezer. So did it end up in the freezer for that long(until MC showed up in the original time)? Just when is this exactly in relevance to the original game? Like I’m assuming it’s very long ago, like centuries perhaps before MC was even born. I mean it is very possible that it stayed in the freezer that long, considering Mammon borrowed money from Levi like 200 years ago or something, like time to them is not something they’re super concerned about. I could totally imagine Mammon trying to find that credit card for centuries that would be absolutely hilarious.

Old Luci was also softer🥹. I like to think of the old Luci as a square in jell-O of that makes sense to you.

What I get from this is that he probably doesn’t feel angel nor demon at this point. He’s kinda getting used to his current situation, and slowly accepting demons. Like we’ve seen in some cards that he used to have this perception that demons were the embodiment of evil and getting to know Dia kind of helped in changing that, but he probably still has a hard time with the balance of good and evil within demons and the sort of morals they have.

Out of all the brothers I think he’s the most stabile in terms of his new situation and being turned into a demon and stuff. Like I think Mammon has the least to regret with the war and all(He had a moment comforting Lucifer right after their fall telling him that he’s the big bro and that all his brothers are counting on him, he also said the line we all followed you for our own reasons(It was in a card, Luci had this flashback when Mammon asked him what made him like this (You know meaner and stricter Luci) and after the flashback Lucifer replied You did ¬‿¬)), but after losing the war has started to think of himself as less (I think it has to do with not being that much of a help). Lucifer on the other hand doesn’t see himself being a demon a problem he’s very sure of himself (we see him quickly accept that he’s a demon in the Lilith flashback), he’s sure of his decision for himself, he’s the sort to be wrong and still act like he’s the shit. His only regret is probably with his brothers🥹🥹😭😭, he feels like his brothers might have been better off not going through that, not falling all because of what he wanted, hence his line: “My pride hurt my brothers”.

MC managed what Satan couldn’t in centuries in like two minutes. Hahahahahahahaah, I’m sorry but this has me dying.

And like the “Awww, does wittle Wucifer need something?” has me on chokehold, I’m sorry I can’t- Like I want to say that to him again. pffhahahahaa.

This really has my getting the feels for Satan. Like I just wanna hug him so tightly. Poor thing is so lost and confused and has a lot of anger, he really doesn’t know what to do.

Lol, he used to fear Satan more than Lucifer, that’s an achievement unlocked. Like in season three both Levi’s and Mammon’s greatest fear were Lucifer, but Satan managed to overcome that, and it’s just purely hilarious to me.

Anyways remember that snake they were running from like crazy? Yeah he was running from Satan too 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀.

And Levi took one for the snakue🥹🥹🥹🥹, and they became best friends🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹. (Took one as in faced Satan💀💀, in like the most hilarious way).

All in all after I finished the first chapter I was happy, and I wanted more. The devs clearly knew what they were doing and they did it all right. Like they gave us an incredible amount of info in just the first chapter, like it feels like a nicely condensed story, honestly they gave us more than I expected. I genuinely love this with every fiber in my being. Like to be honest throughout the original game I always thought that the brothers got here and they were accepted easily because they were incredibly high ranking angels (in the beginning I thought it might have been a bit different, however in the Glory days card Diavolo said the populace of the Devildom was excited to see Lucifer and hear his speech), so I just though that they must have been given these high ranking titles in the Devildome automatically. But the devs illustrated how things actually happened very smoothly. I’m assuming there will be an explanation of sorts of what was meant in The Glory Days.

I’m also very happy with the way they made Lucifer’s personality in this time period. I’ve always had the question “What would Lucifer be like if he wasn’t beyond imagination strong?” I thought I guess we wouldn’t know since he’s always been all powerful and stuff. But I’m so happy they made him like this. Even though he’s mostly powerless now he still has a snarky side to him and that dumb smug smile. He feels just fine standing up to Dia and telling MC they aren’t shit to him (Even though he knows MC is strong, and he literally just met them). But also doesn’t mind eating up his pride for his brothers.🥹🥹

EDIT: I also just wanted to say that I love MC’s character options, like you can see MC’s comfortability and character development.

Just want to add my own opinion (if it okay) which is my guess is also that it might have been given before the brothers fell

Michael had already started watching Solomon and maybe even interacted with him very briefly like he did with MC when the brothers were still up in the Celestial Realm.

This also makes it sound like Michael already has something in mind.

So, you know the way he says “I was a bit lost and unsure what to do” I also thought about what could be the most fitting scenario in my opinion was when he was bought to the Fountain of Knowledge. He suffered a lot before and during then and was probably still processing everything that had happened.

When he came out with his title and name not only as the “wise” sorcerer, but probably as a sorcerer generally because if he was really considered as just a danger and bomb of destruction before then, probably wasn’t called or considered a sorcerer at all.

So if Angel Lucifer called him a “sorcerer” this means that Solomon had probably left the Fountain of Knowledge by then and had already become the wise sorcerer though not as well known as he is in the present.

And well back to what I said at first I feel like this was probably the hardest time in his life where he would be so lost. He had finally come out known as the wise sorcerer, but yet had no idea where to move on from this. He’s come out with the goal to protect humanity from then and one of the solutions he could find was to make pacts with more powerful demons.

And what if although the Fountain of Knowledge or whatever magic Barbatos had worked on him had manage to stop his magic from being destructive but he still wasn’t able to control it as freely or properly as he thought? Mainly when it came to his pact with demons, and then considering they were probably powerful ones at that.

Well and that’s when I’d think he would give him the Ring of Wisdom.

In Nightbinrger the brothers had just fell a year ago, while talking to Thirteen in NB she explained it to us as the past, we’re not sure how long ago but it definitely is the past, and taking everything I said before that would make the timeline match up

And here’s another thing:

When Thirteen says by the time he returned he was “the person who he is today” im thinking when Thirteen had saw him next, as the “person who he is today” he had the Ring of Wisdom in his possession by then.

Why did I make 8 paragraphs for one summary… And anyways this is only for When Solomon received the Ring of Winsdom, which was probably before the brothers fell and only a while after he had been named his title imo. Why? I have absolutely no idea and I’m still lost over it (which I’m why I’m reading off all theories) :D

I probably shouldn’t be trying to make sense of lore timeline from the game in which the writers give lore and plot holes and also never expand or explain it which messes it up but I can’t help it I just want things to make sense for once in this game 🥲

omg okay this was originally going to be an ask about what you think the ring of wisdom may look like because i wanted to try and hunt something down that was similar to buy (mc has both the ring of light and ring of wisdom by season three I think, and i own the ring of light irl)

BUT THEN i went on the wiki and found out it's made of brass and iron, and also learned that u treasure created the ring of light look since it never appeared in canon (i can dream of them making the other half but unlikely as Solomon is a side character, sad)

AND THEN i was reminded that Michael gave the ring of wisdom to solomon so he could control demons more easily and not have the giant strain. But why give it to him? Why this specific sorcerer? Why aid in that?

So now I'm in a rabbit hole of wondering WHEN solomon got the ring. And if it was after the brothers fell, did Michael do it on purpose? Was he aiming for solomon to become powerful enough to even control the seven of the brothers? AND HOW DID HE FIND SOLOMON AT ALL? I have so many questions now

Hmm well if I remember correctly, Solomon gives MC a ring when they become a full fledged sorcerer, but I didn't think it was the Ring of Wisdom that he gave them? Perhaps I misinterpreted that part??

(Side note, I'm almost glad they aren't like to make Solomon's Ring of Wisdom just because OH THE TEMPTATION.)

Anyway, the question is how the heck did Solomon end up with that ring in the first place??

Oh, friend. You have unlocked a CC Solomon Theory because I've thought about this a lot.

I'm going to put it under a read more because of OG and Nightbringer spoilers!

We know almost nothing about the Ring of Wisdom. I can't remember if it's been mentioned in Nightbringer at all. And there may be more instances of it in OG that I'm not remembering. But here are two of the relevant parts:

This is from Lesson 2-2 of OG. He says he used it to create pacts with the 72 demons. Now, it's obvious that Asmo is one of those 72 demons, which means Solomon wouldn't be able to make a pact with him until after Lucifer & co fell. However, I don't think that means that Solomon didn't start making all his pacts before they fell.

This is from Lesson 29-5 in OG. And he says that Michael gave him the ring at a point in his life when he was lost, etc.

What does that mean? Is that before or after Solomon met Barbatos?

Now, there is also a part in Nightbringer where Solomon says that he met a friend back when he was locked up in the basement. He says that his new friend's family came to get them, but that they would come back from time to time and talk to him. He promise the friend he would be a good sorcerer so he could protect humanity.

What if that was Michael?

If it was, maybe Michael gave him the Ring of Wisdom around this time. Maybe Michael did it because he wanted to help Solomon protect humanity.

But this is also the story Solomon couldn't tell MC entirely. He stops part way and says he doesn't have the courage. Which means something else happened then, too. Probably something bad.

So I dunno, this is just a theory. But it could explain why Michael gave Solomon the ring to begin with. If it happened before the brothers fell, his motivation could have purely been to help Solomon protect humanity.

Of course, it's possible that wasn't Michael at all and was actually someone else. In which case we would be back to square one with the question of why Michael gave Solomon the ring.

It would be rather sinister if Michael gave it to Solomon after the brothers fell for the sole purpose of Solomon being able to control them.

It makes sense that Michael would need a human for this because he can't make pacts with the demons himself. But maybe Solomon didn't want to do what Michael wanted him to do and therefore decided to do his own thing instead. He only has a pact with one of the brothers, so he's not exactly going through with that idea.

If Michael is Nightbringer, this could explain why Solomon said that Nightbringer made him who he is. At the same time, it's pretty clear from Solomon's conversation with Nightbringer that he disagrees with Nightbringer and is kinda defiant.

But if Michael is Nightbringer and he's always wanted to control the brothers, that could explain why Nightbringer wanted MC to make pacts with all of them. Perhaps by creating pacts with the brothers in the past, MC has strengthened their pacts with the brothers in the future, too. That could make it easier for MC to control them, especially to control them all at once.

Which is kinda the point of the Ring of Wisdom. As you said, it's meant to allow someone to control multiple demons without it being as draining on the body.

Unfortunately, I still feel like I don't have enough evidence for any of these theories to say for sure that I think they're right. I kinda always thought Solomon's friend was Michael because to me that seems like the scenario that makes the most sense and fits with the Ring of Wisdom situation.

But in the end, I'm hoping they will reveal more about this part of the backstory. Even if I'm totally wrong, I would still very much like to know why Michael gave Solomon the Ring of Wisdom. Because that feels like a really big deal and so far all they've done is just kinda mention it briefly.

ANYWAY well you see I spend too much time thinking about this stuff. But I also have many questions! Here's hoping we get the answers soon!

I’d like to request hc’s of the Brothers and Diavolo reacting to an MC that’s so cute, she could pass off as a doll. If she stands perfectly still, she could pass off as a full sized doll until she moves again. She has adorable doe eyes, wears cute clothes (Lolita fashion or just has an anime girl style), and even makes cute desserts. If the usual MC was weak and frail to them already, Doll!MC seems so dainty, precious, and fragile; these guys would ban paper if she ever got a paper cut.

Oooooo this is really interesting! I can just imagine Doll!MC just making everyone so scared every time she moves because they could probably hurt themselves just bumping into a wall because they look so fragile lol. These were short, so hope you enjoy!

He had never really believed too much about your stories of the demon bros

After that Mammon was really excited , which kind of made Ruggie feel bad , so to play into a little , he conveniently placed some money (not a lot) to make it look like it worked  but even then that made Mammon happy 

After Mammon Left , Ruggie noticed that he was getting more money more often , like Leona felt a little more generous , he found extra in one of his pockets, etc 

He explained it to you and then you told him that “If Mammon likes you , your money chances much higher “ which made him happy 

But then he slowly realized that Mammon was broke and in debt , which says a lot 

Jade 

He was quite interested in your stories , even took great interest in  the demons you spoke of 

by his luck, he was able to meet one 

You were chilling in the lounge and Jade was being your server , then Suddenly , Barbatos appeared

He thought he could try to trick him into a contract but Barb was just as Sneaky as he was 

Barbatos almost even tricked jade into working for Diavolo as a joke 

but other then that , they got along fine 

After a bit, they proceeded to talk while Jade continued to work 

you were glad that Barbatos had a friend to share interests with someone else , Barb even promised to bring Mushrooms From Devildoom

You didn’t tell him the stories directly , but he overhears from you telling kalim 

at first he has no interest but at some point , he will purposely listen on you two , he sometimes makes excuses to sit with you too and listen

He wasn’t sure how to think of these demons til he met a certain sleepy demon 

Belphegor appeared out of nowhere and Jamil considered him a threat , so he guarded Kalim naturally 

He calmed down when he saw you go up to him in  a friendly tone 

Belphie didn’t do much when he visited by it still made Jamil feel unsettled 

that was until he was alone with Belphie

He actually started talking once they were alone , which somewhat surprised jamil 

It was causal until he learns more about what happened between you and belphie, let’s just say he was surprised and a little freaked out 

but at the same time, Jamil somewhat did the same to you and the others before so he’s not too freaked 

Jamil somewhat bonds because they both share being regrettable of their decisions and trying to reform 

He felt a little sad because Belphie had to leave but he was looking forward to talking with him again 

Rook

As someone who has interest in all sorts of creatures, of course he’d listen to your stories 

He’ll listen very carefully and about each of the demons , angels and human you talked about 

and with his luck , Asmo appears, what beauty ! he was ecstatic

Asmo came because he wanted to visit Vil again but was put to a holt when Rook was complimenting him  

Asmo was absolutely loving how Rook was describing him and you were just standing there like “ now he’s gonna come even more often here” 

Rook calls Asmo “ Monsieur  Démon de la luxure (Demon of Lust) 

Asmo noticed how he was getting the worshipped he surely deserved , he even offered a way for Rook to summon but you stopped him because you know what rook might do with that 

but after that , Rook and Asmo enjoyed tea together and they actually talked about Vil with his beauty with Asmo indulging himself with his beauty at times , which Rook didn’t mind 

You were wondering if Asmo was gonna becomes a Pomefoire student at this point.

Ortho

He was young(?) so of course he’d love to listen to your stories 

Sometimes he even records what you say so he can listen to it again if he wanted 

one time you offered to summon one of the demons for Orthro to ask questions or research and he was so excited 

That’s when you summoned Satan 

He seemed Irritable , might of been reading , until he noticed little ortho looking like a ball of energy 

he gives you a look and you mouth “go along with it “ 

Ortho starts asking basic questions of demons and Satan seemed to be enjoying himself , which somewhat surprised  you 

Satan actually stayed longer than you intended but it was fine with you 

satan mainly followed ortho , because he was actually somewhat interested in Ortho’s history but he doesn’t go into too much detail with him

For the most part they were enjoying each other company and it was hard to break them apart 

sadly there was a point where Satan had to leave but he promised Ortho to come again , he even gave him a book to read over and that they can talk over when he comes back again 

Ortho is looking forward to it each day 

Lilia

do we really have to mention how he’ll react? 

this guy probably has some demon friends himself but he still took interest in your stories 

He does want to meet one of them because of how interesting they sound , mainly lord Diavolo , he kinda sounds like malleus in  a way

You would love to introduce but you don’t have a pact with Diavolo , sadly 

but to your surprise, Diavolo came to you , for a check up of course 

Diavolo came in like his usual style and was caught off when seeing lilia with you 

That’s when you took your chance and introduce them to each other 

which you somewhat regret 

they start talking but they actually talk for HOURS 

you left for the nigth and came back in the morning and see them STILL at the tea table talking- like what ???

You were glad they were getting along but still- 

Lilia actually mentions some secrets to Diavolo but stops when you get too close to hear them , no sneaky mc ~ 

so overall , Lilia made an ally and friend with the king of demons

I thought about what elements the Obey me characters would be able to bend in the universe of ATLA/ ATLOK, so here´s a list of their elements, sub elements and their preferred fighting style!

If you don´t know the show, here´s a short list of the elements (although I highly recommend watching the series they´re amazing)

Fire bending (can be trained into lightning- & combustion-bending)

Water bending (can be trained into ice-, steam-, plant- and blood-bending)

Air bending (can be trained to fly or project your spirit)

Earth bending (can be trained into metal- or lava-bending and for seismic sense)

Element: Fire (white-blue flames)

Sub element: Lightning

Fighting style: mainly fighting with lightning, it's more elegant and deadly, and those words are basically the definition of papa Luci. Legends say that once when Lucifer was angered enough, he casted a whole storm to let lightning go down on the whole land.

His white-blue fire is known to be the hottest type of flames, with Lucifer being able to keep their heat on this level for as long as the flames are burning.

"Fire as well as lightning shall be treated with care and used with dignity. Also, if you keep your cool in battle, you can watch as your enemy gets toasted by your attacks, and I personally very much enjoy this satisfaction."

Mammon

Element: Air

Sub element: mild form of flight

Fighting style: "Korra style", basically the more modern way to airbend as shown in the legend of Korra: specifically more forward and for combat (attacking and approaching enemies), for dragging enemies through the air as Mammon pleases.

Although flight is an extremely rare and spiritual ability, somehow the goof Mammon is able to fly short distances without a glider or other tools.

"Livin' like a true air nomad? Nah, that ain't like me. How am I able to fly, then? Well, I'm THE great Mammon after all!"

Levi

Element: Water

Sub element: Ice, steam

Fighting style: prefers to attack with waves of pure water, but when his envy kicks in, he might switch to freezing it (when self-loathing) or boiling it (when angered in envy).

As he loves being engulfed in water, he has perfected moving and diving in the ocean.

"I like being in the ocean... The water wraps around you like a tight but soft hug... A-ah, n-nothing, I would never say anything cheesy like this...!!"

Satan

Element: Fire

Sub element: Combustion

Fighting style: much like his anger can occur in explosive rushes, so does his element as combustion bending shoots a beam of explosive energy at whoever Satan wants to see dead. The explosions become larger the angrier he is, but also harder to control.

Yes, he has this fancy third eye tattoo where he shoots the explosions out of, period.

Technically very skilled in bending fire but dislikes using it (as it reminds him of Lucifer)

"What are you staring at? Do I look this strange to you? Well, if it's that irritating to be near me, I could blast you into pieces."

Asmo

Element: Water

Sub element: Plant bending

Fighting style: not really into fighting, but if he does he uses vines with thorns to whip his enemies asses (preferably in the literal sense hehe). He keeps the vines entagled around his body to always have some with him, and let's them bloom to make it/ himself more beautiful.

Is actually better at bending plants than regular water, even though the pure element should be the easiest to bend.

"Water inside plants is sweeter, which is just like me!", is his explanation for this.

Beel

Element: Earth

Sub element: Seismic sense

Fighting style: Due to his physique he is able to bend massive amounts of stone at once, yeeting those at his enemies. His powers decrease the hungrier he is, but peak once he enters his hungered rage. God help the mountains around him if that happens, they might be pulled of the ground if they are in the way between Beel and his food.

As he is rather calm and dislikes initiating fights, he learned to listen to the earth, his seismic sense helping him detect objects connected to the ground through vibrations.

"If you stay calm and feel your surroundings, you'll find yourself with many advantages in life... For me, it's the ability to detect the nearest food, hehe..."

Belphie

Element: Earth

Sub element: Sand

Fighting style: likes the fast attacks that are possible when bending sand, it's lighter and better to form than solid ground.

Probably his favourite move is to swirl the sand up to disturb his opponents vision while he himself isn't hindered by it at all. If no sand around, he prefers to use smaller rocks and uses them as projectiles.

"Direct combat is too tiring... I'd rather annoy my enemies until they are sick of fighting me. Everyone hates sand in their eyes, right?"

Diavolo

Element: Earth

Sub element: Lava

Fighting style: In my personal AU that is currently forming in my head, Diavolo is the earth prince and thus rarely gets to fight, but oh boy can he beat you up if he wants to. For his size, he is surprisingly agile as he utilizes his earth bending to move. His attacks are mostly through lava bending, a technique which he came up with himself after thinking about how water benders can change their element's state of aggregation. With lava, he keeps his enemies where he wants them to be, to then bombard his enemies with lava projectiles.

"Don't be shy, come a little closer! I might be a prince, but there is no need to be afraid... If I wanted to battle you, you would have already found yourself in a pit of lava!"

Barbatos

Element: Earth

Sub element: Metal, truth seer

Fighting style: This sly mf keeps shreds of metal on his body at any time to be able to shoot them at enemies (kind of like Mai with her knifes). Not an aggressive fighter, rather he waits for the opponent's move, analysing them to then attack with whatever metal is around, or through earth bending, if more effective.

His truth seeing is a form of seismic sense that specialises in sensing another's breathing and heart rate, making him the perfect guard for the earth prince Diavolo.

"I seem to sense an increase in your heart rate... Are you lying or simply thrilled to see me, hm~?"

Simeon

Element: Water

Sub element: healing, spirit bending

Fighting style: Simeon barely ever has to fight, his role in the tribe is a spiritual, not a warrior one. He has magnificent healing skills and is highly spiritual, so fighting is just not his cup of tea. All techniques he is able to do are traditional figures that are passed over generations in the water tribes.

He uses the techniques for 'dances' rather than combat, when pacifying evil spirits or to communicate with and befriend good ones.

Sub element: mild form of spiritual projection

Is able to travel to the spirit world, helps keeping the balance between the human and spirit world.

"Bending is so much more than a weapon to hurt your enemies. Come, I will show you my favourite spiritual place and tell you about the beauty of elements and spirits."

Luke

Element: Air

Fighting style: "Aang style", defensive and keeping his distance. Dodging until finding a weak point, however if you annoy litte Luke, he might switch to a more direct fighting style. With this reckless fighting style, Luke likes to disturb his opponents balance, his satisfaction big when he, a tiny boy, can blow grown-ups off their feet.

Solomon

He loves spirits, so he had always given it his all to get into the spirit world, successfully. Now, he is working on a technique to move his soul unbound by his body. Up to now he can drastically increase his sense (see and hear) through sensing through the wind around him, but he couldn't give his spirit an intangible form yet.

"If you can exist outside your body in the spirit world, it has to be possible here, too! Watch me, I will figure out how to do it one day!!"

Element: Water

Sub element: blood

"You know, technically, air nomads could bend the air carried by your blood cells... Earth benders the minerals and ions in your blood... So basically, blood bending is a really... Huh? What do you mean you're scared of me? I'm harmless, I swear~"

Fighting style: Don't worry, I know blood bending is always treated as the worst thing ever, but Solomon rarely ever relies on his blood bending skill for combat, even though he is able to use it outside of full moon nights, too. He knows a lot about the human body, so he can actually use those skills to heal and help people! (Or well, potentially, he could cause all your blood vessels to burst, but... That is only an option... Maybe... Mostly...)

He is talented with water and ice enough to fight bending those, will use those in the most annoying ways he can.

Bonus: My two MCs Violet and Clover

Element: none

Clover

Weapon: Bow and arrows

Fighting style: Clover tought herself how to use the bow in her free time in case she ever needs to defend herself. Other than that, she wasn't born with any bending abilities, but is, just like Simeon, very spiritually talented and helps him with his work. Wishes to be able to travel to the spirit world one day.

She can hear and see spirits that have escaped into the human world and has made it her task to ensure they return to their home safely.

"H-huh? Ah, don't mind me, I'm not special at all... But wouldn't you like to meet my ghost friends? They have so many fascinating stories to tell."

Violet

Element (learned): fire (mastered), earth (only a little)

Element (yet to learn/ master): water, air, earth

Fighting style: Avatar alerrrt. Yes, this amazing lady would be the avatar of this generation. Born in the fire nation, she has mastered bending fire at young age. Given the right ground (e.g. volcanic stone), Violet has a unique technique of colouring her flames as the bends tiniest fragments of metals and minerals along with the flames. For that she lets the fire touch the ground and burns the metals in her motion. The minerals cause the different flame colorations and showed that she is indeed the avatar. Has yet to learn bending the three other elements.

Lucifer was her teacher for mastering fire bending, and she was taught to fight with a sword, too.

"I may be capable of bending every element, but I still have a long way to go. My homeland has taught me the arts of fire and the sword, but now it is time for me to learn the arts of the rest of the world."

1. What a start, I’m already suffering and it’s literally the first phrase.  Or, more like it’s so different from the original that I’m worried about it being wrong.  Also, 想い can mean a LOT of things, mainly both thoughts and feelings, so I thought sentiment worked for most of the possible meanings 2. 加留多 (karuta) are traditional Japanese playing cards.  They’ve been around since the 16th century, and fall into two groups: those derived from Portuguese cards, and those derived from e-awase, which usually focuses on various association, sequence, and matching games.  Based on the title, I want to assume Levi’s playing with an e-awase set, but I don’t know for sure since I don’t know what happens in the story. 3. つまみ (tsumami) are snacks that accompany alcohol, which we actually don’t really have a set word for in English.  Hors d’oeuvre and tapas are both loanwords that we use for the general idea.  I ended up going with the French one because it seemed like the one Lucifer would opt for. 4. It’s probably common knowledge, but a kotatsu is a heated, low-sitting table with a blanket placed over it.  A common image associated with it would be relaxing under one while eating mandarins, like in the card image. 5. You might be familiar with this if you’re interested in Korean or Japanese idols, but a bromide is a publicity photo of an idol, actor, or otherwise famous personality.  It’s a pretty common term for the concept, so I decided to leave it be.

Thank you so much I hope I do this some justice. I am sorry how it got so long, but I got in the groove for this and I just came up with other ideas

Beel has some implied body issues, mention of top surgery and T-shots

So you more or less got Satan’s coming out story, I could have just written it as a fic and it would have probably been shorter and more concise. But I did add other headcanons as well and accidentally hc how Satan got his everyday outfit.

*Also disclaimer: Satan’s hc focus a lot on Parrotfish by Ellen Wittlinger being a gateway for him figuring out his identity. I have heard of it and seen both good and bad reviews. I recognize that some bad reviews implied that there are possibly inaccurate stereotypes but was a good starting point to introducing Trans Characters to fiction. I have never read it and can not confirm or deny what the reviews say.

Beelzebub:

From a young age he wondered why and how Belphegor were twins when he was a girl.

It caused a distaste in his mouth but more often than not he pushed it away.

 It wasn’t until the Fall; did he finally act on it.

The first time he was called “sir” his heart almost burst out of his chest

 He immediately told a sleepily Belphegor about it, he figured he wouldn’t remember in the morning

 But boy was he wrong, it turns out Belphegor laid awake after Beel told him that. In the morning they talked about it again. Belphie offered his full support.

Belphie became Beel biggest piece in his support system. Like sure a lot of problems, he said maybe a nap or food would help. But it turns out he was right? (Well for the most part) but whenever Beel felt like everyone hated him and judging him, Belphie would wrap him up in the softest blanket in the house and they would take a nap together. Or when Beel seemed to be angry at everything and hated everyone, Belphie pulled him to the kitchen and made his favorite meal.

Randomly one day Belphie asked about how Beel felt about himself. “Like it doesn’t matter if you pass in someone else’s eyes or not, but do you like how you look?”

That’s when Beelz really got into bodybuilding and weightlifting

While he didn’t necessarily come out to the rest of the brothers, but none of them came out as cis so he wasn’t going to go out of his way and come out as trans

“working your legs naturally helps build more testosterone, so does eating eggs,” it was Satan that told him shyly behind a book if Beelz noticed that Satan was eating more eggs and even doing leg exercising he said nothing

Satan and Beel would have random conversations about gender and identity. Most times Belphie sat in on it. Asking questions or making comments.

Before he got top surgery, he would wear full-body binders, he had a standard black and white, but he also had an orange one. Completely confident to wear them by themselves.

 After top surgery, he showed off (as he should)

Takes pride in his body and the work and effort he put into it. To make it his own.

·         T shots doesn’t help with his appetite at all, the horror that went through the house when the avatar of gluttony appetite almost doubled. After a few weeks, it averaged out to be just a little more than pre-T but the brothers none the less both impressed and mortified

Belphie immediately opened his closet to Beel, like Beel occasionally stole clothes before, but this time Belphie made sure that Beel knew whatever he wanted he could take.

Asmo was definitely down to help Beel with shopping, but he turned him down. Favoring to go with Belphie

Faced little backlash, only some sports watchers had problems with it but were quickly shut down. Though even after all these centuries some people still have problems. But Beel has learned to keep his head high but knows he is allowed to be upset and hurt by their words. But he also knows he can go to any of his brothers for comfort and to regroup.

Beelz doesn’t get the same attention and attraction that Satan does, but he doesn’t mind. Though when he sees younger lgbtqia+ looking in awe at him at the gym, he usually swings by to see if they have any questions or need tips.

Okay, wait hear me out… Definitely created a club specifically for lgbtqia+ to have the gym and exercise together. Whether it was leading a class, he has gotten Asmo to lead a few yoga/ meditations or letting them break out into groups and giving them tips on stance or what exercises could build muscles to help them pass. But most importantly teaches/reminds everyone that their body is their own. That no matter what happened to them, their body is theirs. It can look however they want and even if it doesn’t look perfect, it is still is worthy of love and self-care. “The only opinions that matter is your own, it is your body. Claim and make it your own. No one can take it away from you”

Satan offered to let him borrow Parrotfish, Beel isn’t too interested but Belphie wanted to read it to him.

Overall Beel is confident and comfortable with his body and his identity. On his bad days, he knows he has endless support from Belphie and his other brothers.

 Satan:

You know that feeling when something clicks and its that chilling calm that covers your body? Satan was reading a random book, Parrotfish by Ellen Wittlinger.

First came out to Asmodeus, because Satan knew Asmo would accept him and help him in whatever way Asmo could.

And of course, Satan was nervous because Asmo couldn’t go to the others not yet. Satan planned it out that Lucifer was on Earth and expected to be there for a week, so Satan had time to execute his plan.

Asmo was worried when Satan came to him all serious. Well, Satan is always serious but this time the nervousness and lack of confidence made Asmodeus sit still and hold his breath. Asmodeus was attentive as Satan slowly stumbled through his prepared speech, which mainly focused on talking about the book he had just finished.

 Asmo didn’t understand until he saw how heartbroken and lost Satan looked. He was frantic in a sense and blurted out something along the lines of, “So, you wish you were a parrotfish?” while it wasn’t necessarily the best thing to say, the laugh it go out of Satan and the uncertainty in his smile was worth it.

Asmodeus took it upon himself to go shopping for Satan, getting him new more masculine clothes.

It was Levi that got Satan’s his first Binder, “A lot of cosplayers wear them, so you should be okay for some light exercising in it”

Soon all the brothers, well except Lucifer knew and the day Lucifer came back, Satan hid and avoided him.

Satan should have known better, but he was still surprised when Lucifer summoned for him

He was terrified.

When he entered the room, he couldn’t meet Lucifer’s eyes. But when he spared the glance, he saw the disappointment in Lucifer’s eye. Satan tried to swallow around the lump in his throat and ignore the burning in his eyes.

“What are you wearing?” Not exactly what Satan thought Lucifer was going to say first. “Was it Asmodeus?” “Ugh” Lucifer shook his head and strolled to his closet and threw the door open and went searching for something. “Ah, there it is,” Lucifer returned with a yellow sweater. “This would be more suiting for you,” Lucifer offered the sweater to Satan.

“You aren’t mad?”

“The only thing I’m relatively mad at is how offensive that outfit is,”

“I might have shoes too, but they might be a little big on you,”

Satan left wearing his new sweater and shoes on, laughing how he had to keep a black undershirt on, and the shoes flopped due to being too big. But he left with a lot of weight off his shoulders and high in spirits.

That sweater is the famous one you still see him wear today. He wonders why Lucifer would have such a bright color and when he asked Lucifer just made a face and rolled his eyes as he replied with “Asmodeus thought I needed to brighten my wardrobe.”

 Satan loves it, its soft and bright. It’s a little too low cut for his liking but an undershirt fixed that problem. And it doesn’t hug his chest and honestly, it’s his favorite piece of clothing

 Parrotfish is a permanent book in his room and he reads it once a year. And has special scenes marked, so he can go back and read certain passages when needed

Once Satan came out to Barbatos and Diavolo they both requested to read the book and met with him for tea to talk about the book and life.

Lucifer even snagged the book for a bit. (He tried to be sneaky about it and Satan pretended not to notice)

 Asmodeus and Mammon is chaotic with their support, it nice and needed but can also be overboard but he knows they do it out of love. Pride is a huge thing at the house and Asmo decided to do a gender reveal party for Satan

Beelzebub, Belphegor and Levi are supportive like they are ready to fight anyone who gives Satan any issues about his gender and gender identity, but they are as obnoxious as Asmo and Mammon. They will sit with him, talk to him, or just quietly listen. Most times they can’t offer help and admit they don’t know what to say other then they are here for him and willing to listen to whatever he needs to talk about.

Lucifer is quiet support. At first, Satan thought he didn’t approve but then Lucifer would make a random statement or ask for clarification that made Satan feel comfortable. Lucifer glared at anyone who even thought about giving Satan a weird look.

Satan’s go to binder color is a light grey and most times it just a crop top rather than a full-body one. Though he has an aqua blue one he wears occasionally. (I have a drawing of this somewhere lmao)

Satan tried to give himself his first haircut but Asmo had to come in and fix up the mess and disaster he created. Sure, his hair was way too short for his liking, but it wasn’t long anymore.

Over the years has learned the different meanings behind the looks he gets, whether it’s in disgust or that longing look that demons that aren’t out give him. He somehow occasionally becomes a dad to other trans! Demons. Whether it's long talks or if it's just quick tips that help him through the years.

Ironically enough, Lucifer is his biggest support or the one he relies on the most during days or moments when Satan feels terrible. Because Lucifer won’t be fussing all over him or beat around the bush about it. Sometimes he will state he too busy to talk but will leave and come back with hot tea and Satan’s favorite biscuits. Lucifer sometimes sends him away to grab his homework and they will just work in silence together. While Satan hates to admit how much he appreciates Lucifer for these moments, it helps a lot.

Last one! The first formal after Satan came out, he realized he didn’t have clothes for it. Out of all the styles and outfits he had gotten nothing formal ever came through. His brothers came through though. Asmo couldn’t convince him on any of his extra formal wear so he went around finding pieces that the other brothers weren’t using. Satan was only missing a jacket, but the outfit looked perfect. When he ran into Lucifer, Lucifer brought him to his room and offered him one of his simpler jackets and touch him how to pin it to tailor the sleeves to a better height.

Director’s Cut of My Fic “I’d Rather Be Dry” Part 2 (Chapter 3)

Chapter 3 was probably the most painful chapter of a fic I’ve ever had to write, and not because I was sad writing the sad scenes. No, this fic was physically painful to write because it took 3 days and I was struggling to sit down and write it the entire time because even though I had the whole thing planned out, I just felt like I was dragging through it and eventually had to change some things to speed it up a bit. Still, it ended up being the longest chapter because I had to tie up so many loose ends! Luckily for me, my beta-reader @primal-shitposts​ read it through for me again, so I didn’t have to suffer again!!! If you want to support not only me but my beta-reader who makes sure my fic lacks grammar errors (and also gives you this great commentary on these types of posts), please go to their art blog @primal-interstellar​ and give their artwork some love!!! They deserve it after slogging through this mess of a fic for a game they don’t even play.

I actually originally wrote the opening scene with Satan in a lot more detail. It dropped us in the present where he was in the office, and Diavolo and everyone was just looking on as he slowly ran out of energy. But, I got about 3 pages in and realized it was dragging and so I cut it and swapped it for a flashback on the walk home.

While I intended for this to be a much more dramatic anime scene of Satan just silent as he ran out of steam and could barely move his arms save for slapping the guy, I love this interpretation.

I CAN’T EXPLAIN WHY BUT THIS WAS THE FUNNIEST COMMENT IN THE DOCUMENT. NOTHING TOPPED THIS. I DON’T UNDERSTAND BUT IT’S SO OUT OF LEFT FIELD IT HAD ME DYING

Primal knows about Lucifer birthing Satan because the moment I started playing the game I made her watch a crack video with me that mentioned it. Although I know she likes Leviathan cause sea monsters, I’m convinced Satan might be one of her favorites. On a side note, writing dialogue for Satan is very hard because he is very proper but when he snaps, I always feel unsure of whether it sounds believable or just like a string of curses that a twelve year old would think sounds cool. 😎 I do like the father/son dynamic Lucifer and Satan hint at though (and from what I hear the new lessons might be adding on to that? oWO)

I honestly don’t know how the demons who attacked MC aren’t dead yet. They’re basically disfigured and then Satan just doubled the damage and then tripled it in the council room this chapter. Somehow they’re not dead though! I wonder what MC will have to say about their punishment...

QUICK, SOMEONE DRAW SATAN WITH THE CRAFTING TABLE STARING AT THE DOOR WHILE THE EQUATIONS FLY BY HIS HEAD

I did choose the “yes” option when Beel asked to eat me in the animal event. It was not because of vore though, but I do make many vore jokes. I could imagine MC being forced to explain vore to Lucifer (or all the brothers) after making a joke and them being confused. Writing Beel’s breakdown this chapter wasn’t initially planned, and it was sort of what really started to make writing this fic slow down because as you might notice throughout the fic, I suddenly felt the need to give every brother an equal amount of screen time which sort of led to me RUNNING OUT OF VERBS for how to make each breakdown unique.

Okay, so the next part. I was actively seeing the comments as they popped up, but there was a delay with the comment box on the side appearing before the actual comments in the text. So, I saw this:

And had two seconds to go “Oh no” before this was added:

From here on it was chaos.

Listen, the boys are idiots. They’re all concerned, Mammon just doesn’t want MC to get upset again. In reality, this sort of dialogue stemmed more from me still lingering on the original idea of the fic. The original concept of this fic (when it was just a one-shot) was MC still getting attacked by a demon in the locker-room showers (for their soul) but because I was originally thinking about a female reader, I knew that it could have more of an undertone for sexual assault. I actually first discussed the fic idea with Primal months back when I first got into Obey Me, because I wanted to write a snippet of each brother helping MC after the event (it wasn’t going to be extreme, I was thinking more accidental scratches during the scuffle closer to the chest and such and maybe the assailants having more dialogue demeaning MC for being around the 7 brothers all the time) but I realized I didn’t have much experience with that and it would make writing scenes that I thought about (such as Asmo wanting to give MC a bath as aftercare) difficult as I could see someone after an attack like that not wanting to be in a bathroom with someone else or be vulnerable to them. I ended up playing with that idea in my previous Mammon fic with more different comfort aspects and touching on that kind of assault briefly, so this fic ended up just being focused on the brothers’ being upset over what happened to MC.

As much as writing Satan’s angry dialogue is a pain, I have fun making him talk with a more formal tone, it’s closer to how I normally talk, and prefer to write my characters talking. I have no problem writing contractions or more casual speech, but for one of my fantasy stories, where I’m writing in English but trying to differentiate different languages through italics or just whether they use certain contractions or not, I tend to really stress the characters that use absolutely zero and more complicated synonyms. 

I DON’T KNOW WHY BUT IT WOULD BE HILARIOUS IF MC JUST ASKED FOR SOUP OUT OF THE BLUE I’M IMAGINING ASMO BEING LIKE “BITCH I TOOK ALL THIS TIME DEBATING OVER HOT OR COLD TEA AND NOW YOU’RE SAYING YOU’RE FINE WITH HOT SOUP???”

I know the shower idea may have been really corny or cringey. I know a lot of people write things like the water in Devildom as being much hotter (cause their near hell and their demons! It makes sense, also I think Asmo might have mentioned in a text chat he would make the water cooler for MC? I find Leviachan to be such a funny nickname, mainly because writing any dialogue for Levi makes me cringe because while I was a VERY big weeaboo in elementary and middle school, I was so lucky I never hit his stage of acting like an otaku. While it’s charming, having to type him in more modern fic is even more painful because it’s like “oh god he actually goes into the real world and talks like this). Sidenote, I always mispronounce Levi’s name when I’m talking about him, mainly because I have to remember so many anime characters where their name is pronounced Lee-Vai or I just think of the brand of jeans (fashion major brain). So, whenever I’m talking out loud about him to someone, I have to stop and be like, “Levi... Leviachan...Leviathan...” because that “a” sound corrects my brain to how it’s supposed to be.

*throws confetti again* Believe I felt the pain of this fic dragging through every boy going back on their character development I had given them but I felt it was only fair that each of them got time with MC. As the tag on archive says, “everybody gets time to shine with MC”. (I really just want to write Barbatos’ scene for chapter 4 though)

This scene was hard to write because I wanted Levi to get closure on the scene with MC, but I couldn’t have him straight up kabedon them because then he would be cornering them and I thought that would be too much like what MC went through in the shower. Although I didn’t write anyone in explicitly summarizing what happened to MC, and Levi saw the least of it, I think he’s seen enough series depicting it to know that cornering them would be bad, but he still wants to show that he loves them and cares about them. Also, when I was writing this, I remember just going through a counter of who got the most smooches in chapter 3. Originally only Mammon was going to get 2, putting him in the lead above everyone who got 1, but then I felt back for giving Levi the least screen time and just gave him 3.

Honestly, chapter 3 really took a turn for a more intimate chapter??? Especially with Asmo’s one-on-one scene with MC, it was all downhill from there. I have noticed with quarantine, my writing has become more focused on touch (if you read any of my Balance:Unlimited fics or even my Mammon fic, you would definitely die if you tried to do a drinking game with the number of times someone TOUCHES the other gently). It’s just an unfortunate projection issue that comes with writing.

I wish Belphie was 7′2″. 😳 I like Beel but Belphie is one of my favs. Ironically enough he was the one who skipped this fic. I WAS ACCIDENTALLY FEEDING DIALUCI STANS but again, if you’ve read my Mammon fic, you probably know my true thoughts on Diavolo and Lucifer’s relationship. This fic is so MC focused, I wasn’t intending to write it in so much, Diavolo was just supposed to order Lucifer to go home, that’s it. But, I got rejuvenated when I hit Lucifer’s scene, because I knew it was the homestretch for the chapter! I really played up a Hamilton reference accidentally, having the “Go home” line repeated, because it just felt like the vibe the scene was getting at. I am hoping to explore Diavolo and Lucifer’s relationship more in my modern au fic, Siberia.

Oh geez, fam! ...aight. That took me a minute. But below you will find out more about my girl, Niri! 

1.      What is their favourite food?—

Cheeseburgers and carrots. 

2.       Do they have a fear of an animal? If so, what animal? –

Not a fan of snakes, lizards, frogs, sharks.

3.       What do they wear to bed? –

Shorts and a t-shirt. Sometimes nothing at all!! That had to stop when she moved into the HoL though. Brothers poppin’ in at all hours gettin’ an eyeful. Lucifer was upset. 

4.       Do they like cuddling?—

1000000000%. Niri’s a big ol’ cuddle bug. Asmo’s all about it. So is Beel. 

5.       Do they have a secret handshake with anyone? -- With Astaroth. It’s quite elaborate and they only ever do it when they decide to get up to trouble.

 6.       What do they look like? – 

She cute if I may say so myselffff (don’t judge me, she’s a self insert hah!) Mid to slightly above average height for a human female, fairly toned. Brown eyes, mid-back length hair that’s brown at the root, fades to a teal and purple under layers. Sometimes her hair will fade to a light yellowy-green. She has the hookup for dye from Barbatos who likes to procure things for her from the human realm. She also has quite a few tattoos.

 7.       Do they like chocolate? –

Only dark. She’s allergic to additives in certain milk chocolates so she doesn’t eat it much. 

 8.      What are their good and bad traits?

Good: Helpful, kind, encouraging, quite a hard worker in any task given her.

Bad: Easily swept up into trouble by others, will prioritize naps over other stuff sometimes, awfully flirtatious which gets her in hot water with Lucifer because apparently lesser demons keep poppin’ by the house with gifts also HUMAN, DID YOU REALLY JUST SAY THAT TO LORD DIAVOLO?! Oopsssssss~ Also, you know how Luci’s always doing the “MAAAAMMMOOOONNNNN…”…yeah, that’s almost always followed by “NIIIIIRIIIIIIIIII….”

 9.      Do they have any artistic talent?

Yes. She’s a musician so there’s that…and she likes to paint.

10.  What is their favourite room to be in, in the house they live in?

She likes the music room since the boys tend to spend quite a bit of time in there together, but she’s usually found in the kitchen making loads of food and baked goods…also, that’s where you’re more likely to find Beel, and she reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally likes Beel.

11.  Do they believe in luck?

To an extent. She believes that luck exists, but she thinks relying on it is a bit naïve.

12.  Can they do magic?

Like pull a rabbit out of a hat type thing? Yes. She picked up a few little tricks here and there from a friend who loves show magic. Def not the real stuff though.

13.  Do they believe in dragons?

She didn’t until she went to the Devildom. Not that they just have dragons hangin’ out all willy-nilly, but she’s heard stories from the brothers and others about dragons.

 14.  What is a pet peeve of theirs?

Rudeness and liars who don’t give up even after they’ve been caught in the lie. Also people who demand things of others as if they’re property and not living beings with feelings …this isn’t about Belphegor at all. Nope. She doesn’t have issues with him still.

15.  What was the last thing they cried about?

She was able to talk to all her bandmates at once for her weekly call home. They all just really miss each other, ok? It sucks that she has to lie to them about where she is because she knows they’re worried about her, but it was just nice to hear their voices.

16.  What is their sexuality?

Pan.

17.  Do they have a best friend? If so, who, and what makes them their best friend?

We’ll narrow this down to the Devildom. Niri gets along with everyone and literally loves all the beings she’s met and knows she could count on them for most anything, but there’s definitely a more solid feeling to her connection with Beelzebub. They sort of just get to be vulnerable and entirely open with one another and there is never judgement or ill will, even when Beel eats her secret snack stash…again.

 She’s kind of getting to that point with Astaroth as well, but she can sense he’s still a little guarded in certain aspects, and she’s not going to push.

18.  Have they ever been in a romantic relationship?

Yes, quite a few. It’s not her favorite thing to talk about since she’s been quite unlucky in that aspect, but hey, the past is the past.

19.  What does their relationship with their family look like? Are they close? Distant? Ect.

Her actual family family (with the exception of her brother) are not close in the least. They’re sort of barely on speaking terms. Her chosen family (comprised of her band and some of the closest staff) is extremely close.

20.  Do they have a pet?

No. She loves animals and had a dog up until recently, but they passed. It’s okay though, they had a good long life and it wasn’t painful for them when it happened.

21.  Do they have a familiar?

Nope. Non-magical.

22.  Are they a supernatural being?

Nope! “Boring” human, but she does seem to always find herself in weird situations that are sorta paranormal.

23.  How do they usually wear their hair?

It really just depends on the day. If she had time to work on it, it’s down and straight. If it’s a rush in the morning (read: fight for the bathroom because Beel won’t MOVE) she’ll toss it in a bun or ponytail depending on how hot it is outside. There are the odd days when she’ll just let it vibe in its natural wavy/curly state, but she kind of got fed up with the brothers calling her a sheep because it’s so fluffy.

24.  Can they play an instrument? If so, what instrument and what can they play?

Yes! She learned guitar and bass at a young age and was tinkering with drums before she was whisked away to the Devildom.

25.  What type a high schooler are/were they?

She was the quiet weird kid that didn’t quite fit in with the weird weird crowd, but also wasn’t popular. Plenty of people knew her or of her, but she mainly stuck with her group of friends and was nice to everyone.

26.  Have they ever been in a physical fight before? If so, with who? Who won?

Yes. Just small bits of violence. No one of import, tbh. But there was that one time they all went out to party at the fall and Mammon and Levi started teasing her and in her drunken state, Niri went to punch Mammon who managed to duck so she hit Levi square in the nose. He was fiiiiiiine.

27.  What is their favourite holiday?

Halloween because it’s fun, Christmas because of the togetherness, and EASTER BECAUSE MARSHMALLOW PEEPS!

 28.  If they could have one wish, what would they wish for?

A pass to go from the Devildom to the Human realm and back whenever she wants forever.

 29.  Do they wants kids? If they already have kids, do they want more?

No. Never.

Yes? Being a singer in a band is a job, right? It doesn’t always feel like a job because it’s awesome, but it’s a job.

Yes. She has convinced Mammon to let her drive his car on a few occasions and every time they get back he swears NEVER AGAIN. She a little speed demon.

Funny story, actually…YES. But she is pretty good at not letting it show. So on the outside she’s like la-la-la~ but inside it’s all AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~~~

Absolutely lol. Niri has gone through a few colors in her life, but her favorite is and always will be the teal. (Fun fact: the purple came from a happy accident a few years back when she dyed over a pink shade and a layer turned out purple. She liked it so now she does it that way on purpose.)

 34.  Have they ever broken the law?

Never anything egregious, but she’s gotten tickets for stuff in the human world. Disturbing the peace, speeding, she was fined once (along with her bandmates) for a surprise free show they did in front of a train station which got a lot more attention than they were expecting and wound up shutting down a couple city blocks. Oooooooooopsss~

 35.  Do they own a plant?

She’s really bad with plants. REALLY bad. She was gifted a plant by Simeon a couple weeks into the exchange program and it took an embarrassingly long time for her to notice it was a fake plant…since he knows she sucks at keeping things alive.

Once, and it was a terrifying experience so she just keeps her distance now.

 She tries to. It’s not always possible, but she tries, dammit!

Several, yes. One arm sleeve done, starting the other arm, both thighs have massive pieces on them and both ribs done as well. There are also a few small things on her fingers and back.

Lotta hair. Looooooottttta hair. And heavily winged eyeliner. Big lashes.

Huskies. They’re just so cute and sassy! And perfectly sized!! Great cuddle buddies and fun to run with!

Not in the human world, but she’s got 7 kinda irritating roomies in the Devildom!

She’s traveled extensively, so there isn’t anywhere she dreams of going that she hasn’t already seen. Her favorite place is anywhere mountainous and lush.

Yep. Niri’s a language nerd. Because she likes to speak to fans and stuff, she has set it on herself to learn as many languages as she can. She’s not perfectly fluent in all of them, but it’s a good handful that she can hold a full conversation in. She and Satan like to practice with one another around the house, despite complaints from the others.

Depends. Most things, yes…..math and processes requiring math, NO.

No, she’s not really the luck having type.

She didn’t change much in the room she was given at the HoL. Just added her fake plant from Simeon and a few human things…she actually got the “Hang in There” kitty poster just for kicks. Lucifer hates it.

A dodo bird. Because they’re weird and cool.

Yep. Actually enjoys shooting, it’s a fun stress reliever. She makes a point to drop by shooting ranges every once in a while back home.

Once at a renaissance festival on an odd week of downtime. She didn’t do so well. The throwing was fine, but she never hit the target. Just be glad she didn’t hit a person either!

Hmm…Niri tries to live her life in a way that she won’t have regrets, so even if something is scary, she’ll pluck up the courage to do it. But…she still hasn’t jumped out of a plane.

Absolutely not. She cringes thinking of the outfits her parents used to put her in, so she did her best to keep those kinds of things buried and acts like they never existed. Nope. Was never a baby. Nope.

Niri is a pro at pretending she’s confident, so she tends to draw attention when she walks in a room like she owns the place. Also her hair is kinda bright.

She can never pick, honestly. There are so many songs that are so amazing!

That’s a very good question. Probably something sitting in her garage back home. Probably being driven by one of her bandmates. Because hey, what are friends for?

Not that she isn’t a big reader, but she doesn’t really get the time to enjoy books. There’s always something that needs attention or someplace to be and she’s required to engage, so focusing on a book or story is hard, but she’s a fan of classic novels, poetry, and Greek tragedies are always good!

She likes everything Barbatos makes and thinks Luke’s desserts are fantastic, but there’s something about a human recipe that just warms her heart, so…..herself. Lol.

Not drastically, but she has gone through a few different phases until settling on a good one.

Like….do we wanna even get into that?????? I mean, maybe someday? Like…what? What was the question??

A genuine heart, a killer smile, and a rockin’ bod. Yeah okay look everyone can be a little shallow sometimes okay get off her case >__<.

She’s a damn fool and will laugh at ANYTHING, so it’s not hard. Everyone makes her laugh. The girl will 9 times out of 10 laugh at herself for the dumbest moments.

Oh yes many times. Many many times.  One of the first few times she hung out (went on a date) one-on-one with Beel they had a drinking contest and as it turns out, he can really hold his devil liquor.

She’ll cuddle up to Beel 99.9% of the time because he’s big and warm and always happy to hold, but she also really enjoys cuddling with Asmodeus. He’s such a sweetie and he smells so nice and they just snuggle and talk and laugh and it’s a nice escape. (Loads of times there are Asmo x Niri x Asta sandwiches in Asmo’s room.)

She tends to go to one of the brothers depending on what kind of day it’s been. Most of the time it’s gonna be Beel because again, big/warm/happy to hold her, but there are occasions where she’ll drag Beel to one of the others’ rooms and they’ll just hang out.

I mean…Beel. Lol. He’s right there.

She has a picture of her friends from back home that sits on her desk. She treasures that above all while she’s down in the Devildom.

Sure. Kids are fine as long as they go back to their parents after a bit.

Seeing as there’s always someone coming into her room regardless if she’s there or not, she probably would just shrug it off. If someone decided to have a bad lapse in judgement and break into the HoL? She wouldn’t have to lift a finger.

Absolutely not. She’s extremely ticklish and hates being tickled. She flails and cries.

(Many of you won’t understand *which is good, because you don’t have to worry about taking your pills to function XD* but i found ou that there are a lot of people who can relate and so i decided to make this! ) also i have to do this from my phone so if it doesn’t look how it normmally does

Context

You had many mental and physical issues but all that could help was pills, with other things as well but it was important to take your pills, as well as Vitamin ones. So you have another 7-8 pills/Vitamins. 2 of them are for Vitamin D , whichbis helpful since Devildom doesn’t contain any sunlight but there are subsitute food in Devildom that contain Vitamin D

Lucifer

- He learned about this quickly

- He was doing a surprise room inspection, and happened to find your pill bottles

-not very aware that it’s possible for a human to have this many. He thought it was for ...”something else” ireallyhopeyougetwhatimean

- you reassured him that these were essential and explained how you don’t take them all at once

-he was relieved and learned about your pills specifically about your Vitamin D pills

-He’s completely forgot about how humans need Sunlight for that Vitamin, he’s just so used to the dark so he never considered it

-not too surprised, he wasn’t aware of mental pills but the Physical and Vitamin ones, he knows from past lovers

-tries to do other options to help you , like a cream that helps your muscles , etc

- questions what Vitamin you mainly need
