After 2 months of absence i've decided to bring myself back on here and explain some things that have happened.

After publishing a post a while back regarding incest, i had recieved a lot of hate since then. When i posted it I had no idea how much hate I was bound to receive from all of you once you guys saw it, and honestly i didn't think it would get that much attention. After realising it was clearly causing so much hate I posted an apology, which all you also thought was total shit, so I deleted that too.

And right after, I was bombarded with an ungodly amount of death threats through my inbox, people asking me to kill myself and end it. It was a whole lot, and I really didn't think that one measly post would set you guys off so fast. And honestly I was surprised to see how much there was. My inbox was full of them, and I couldn't handle it all.

Soon enough as expected one person had gone anonymous, sending inbox messages to my followers to report the 'heinous crime' I've committed by posting one silly thing, which by the way, put out a lot of false information. The person was over exaggerating, putting shitty words in my mouth. And I'm here now to talk about all the accusations the person has made. To the people who recieved the inbox message, here's your real explanation from the blogger who made the damn posts.

1. I 'nonchalantly' wrote twincest about Tom and Bill.

First of all, I have never in my life intended to ship the damn twins. If you have checked tumblr well enough, you should be aware there's tons of threesome sex fics about Tom and Bill, where they both fucked the reader at once. And if you fucking bothered to read my fic properly and not jump to conclusions to try so damn hard and cancel me, you'd know damn well Tom and Bill never even touched eachother in the fic that I wrote. They didn't have sex with eachother, they didn't DIRTY TALK eachother, and they did NOT do anything that would have come across as incest.

They both simply fucked the reader and talked to the reader, having nothing to do with each other in the fic. Get your damn facts right b4 you try to sound like a fucking smartass.

2. I want to be 'chained up and used.'

speaking of cook, the fact that the most likely theory for why everyone went insane was cyanide poisoning. from cook's photo developing solution. the DOCTOR did all this. it seriously doesn't get funnier than that

cook hanging penguin carcasses along the belgica's hull as they made to escape the pack. like imagine being in puntas arenas and seeing this ship no one is expecting come into port and everyone has these crazed eyes, some of them are screaming and in the throes of a full mental breakdown, and there's fucking penguin carcasses hanging off the ship like some kinda charms. the mental image alone sent me into hysterics i swear

and most importantly, the fact that all of this happened and they still managed to keep the ship. i think sir john, crozier, and shackleton (et al) are rolling in their graves over this expedition. most incompetent freakass men you know got to keep their ship and yours is at the bottom of the ocean. i can't even believe it.

on a serious note this was just genuinely a great book, it's written so well and in such a particular way; reading nonfiction has never been so fun—sancton made these cold boys sound like shounen anime characters, for real. it was awesome seeing the steps they took to ensure survival and the mistakes they made which undermined the expedition. there's a lot to learn from this expedition and a lot to admire about it, for what it was. it was also just an insane ride from beginning to end—everything went wrong, nearly every guy on that ship was in way over their head and completely wrong for the job, and they kept making the worst possible choices at every turn. the fact that they survived is a miracle and honestly i do think, even though cook was probably accidentally responsible for how crazy they got, he deserves a lot of praise for keeping the ship together and being so proactive in their survival. and never have two people matched each other's freak the way amundsen and cook did, oh my god. they're calling tollefsen the madman while yearning to plummet from an antarctic mountain or live on an iceberg. but sure tollefsen was sooooo crazy.

anyway sorry this is really long but holy shit this book made me so crazy. it's gonna take such a long time for me to get to a point where i can be normal about the belgica after reading this. holy shit man.

you had your right hand firmly (not too hardly) wrapped around his throat. it restricted his airway, but god did it feel so good. your left hand was placed on his hips, preventing him from moving. you bounced up and down on him effortlessly as he let out choked groans and whimpers.

So its been getting around that Chloe isn't gonna be in Lis DE and I have never been more devastated in my life. Deck nine said they were going to respect the 2 decisions that players could've made, yet they practically said "fuck you" and took Chloe out of the picture. I just don't understand why though, like 50% of the fanbase picked sacrifice Arcadia bay and it was mainly because we are huge pricefield shippers (idk about y'all but I am). And their not stupid, they know about the pricefield ship and how much people wanted to see Chloe and Max in another game. They literally said they were going to follow through with the original games and the 2 decisions at the end, but then they completely scrap the idea of Chloe and Max being together, and they didn't even want to tell us. People had been asking about Chloes role in DE since the game first got announced, so why would they leave our questions unanswered for so long? It makes no sense on their behalf and its js overall bad marketing, They made it out that Chloe left Max because she didn't want to do long distance, but thats not Chloe at all. Chloe is the girl who dedicated her WHOLE journal to letters for/to Max in before the storm, Chloe is the girl who wrote "and she probably has all new friends up in fucking Seattle, i still miss her. if she came back tomorrow and said "hey Chloe, want to dress up like pirates and be stupid together?" i would take her back in a heartbeat." after she hadn't seen or spoken to her for 3 years, Chloe is the girl who told max that they would last forever and that she would never leave her. They completely mischaracterised her and made the whole sacrifice Arcadia bay option pointless, they spent 10 years together and Chloe throws it away because she cant do temporary long distance? Thats not like her at all. I see people saying "its realistic though, a relationship built from trauma isn't healthy" and it really annoys me, like yes their right, but thats in the real world, its a game about a girl who can jump between realities which isn't realistic at all. And don't even get me started on the rumour about Chloe flirting with VICTORIA.

But the game still isn't out yet, I mean we only have the first 2 episodes and I'm not sure if all of this is confirmed (if it is how do we know when we only have the 2 episodes?) or if people are just taking the 2 episodes and their story line, and then putting the pieces together. I was having a convo with someone in the comments under a yt video by Cucu on Games about how Chloe will be in DE (the video was made 3 weeks ago before all this info came out) and we both thought that maybe Chloe will come back into max's life in one of the last episodes, maybe she misses Max and hears about what happened with her friend Safi and comes to see her and reconnect with her, because surely Deck nine, a huge game company who know what their fanbase wants, wouldn't use false advertising by making us think Chloe is gonna be in the game only to scrap that idea after saying they wanted to respect and follow the two choices players could have made.

Its a really controversial opinion and I've seen a few people say it makes sense and its part of Max's character development, but Id say most of the fanbase isn't happy about this whole thing. I mean of course I'm happy to be able to see Max in another game, and we're lucky to even be getting another lis game. But to make us think we're going to see Chloe and then let us find out that we aren't is just bad marketing. If they never intended to have Chloe in the game then why wouldn't they answer everyones question, 'Is Chloe going to make a physical appearance?' (they would've 100% seen people asking because their social media pages are flooded with the one question about Chloe) Lmk what you think tho, and if you made it all the way through this then thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this long ass rant 😭

Because apparently, some of y’all still think we’re making it up (just like this stupid anon recently), still think we’re “imagining” the weird little jabs and passive-aggressive nonsense. So let’s take a moment to break down this absolutely pathetic comment I got today:

First of all—was that supposed to be a compliment or was the sarcasm just so heavy it collapsed under its own weight? Because if you were trying to be shady, bestie, you fumbled it hard. This is the kind of condescending nonsense that just screams insecurity. You’re acting like I sit here cackling at my alleged AO3 domination, rubbing my hands together as I crush smaller authors beneath my mighty fic empire. Do you hear how absurd that sounds?

Let me make this crystal clear: I don’t write to “compete”. I don’t write to be “number one”.

I don’t give a flying Warg’s ass about statistics.

I write because I love this ship. I love to ramble, share ideas, and create things with people who enjoy the same dynamic. That’s it. That’s the entire point. Turning this into some weird contest or acting like my presence in a small ship’s tag is some kind of threat is so nasty, and frankly, a you problem.

The worst part? The implication that Elrondriel somehow wouldn’t “exist” without me—as if the only reason people are shipping it is because I dared to post. People like what they like.

They don’t need permission or a fanwork quota to do it!

The fact that this person felt the need to comment this at all just proves how weirdly obsessive some people are about trying to diminish Elrondriel whenever and wherever they can. It’s not enough for them to dislike it, they need to make sure we know they dislike it!

And then there’s the unspoken other message in this—this little attempt at shaming me into stopping. Because what, exactly? Because I write a lot? Because content isn’t being produced at some imaginary “acceptable” speed? Because they think I’m somehow monopolizing a ship, as if fandom is some bizarre economy where only one person at a time can contribute? Are you hearing how ridiculous that sounds? Do you hear how fucking unhinged it is to act like me posting my fics is somehow gatekeeping a ship from other people?

The actual reality is that Elrondriel has so many incredible, talented creators—artists, writers, editors, gif-makers, meta-writers—who are constantly putting out gorgeous content, and the fact that I happen to be active doesn’t take away from their work. If anything, it adds to the momentum of the fandom. But this? This right here?

This is exactly the kind of behavior that makes people afraid to post their content. That makes people feel like they don’t belong in a space where they should feel free to create and share what they love.

Because apparently, in the eyes of people like this, there’s some invisible limit to how much content is allowed before it becomes a problem.

And I am so fucking tired of it. I am tired of the weird, obsessive nitpicking. I am tired of the bad-faith nonsense. I am tired of people treating fanworks like some kind of competitive sport where they get to decide who is “allowed” to contribute and how much. And most of all? I am tired of the pathetic attempts to make me or anyone else feel like we should stop creating because of some bitter little fandom police who can’t stand the fact that people are having fun without them.

Guess what? I’m not going anywhere. I will keep writing. I will keep posting. I will keep creating and sharing and doing what I love, because that’s what fandom is actually supposed to be about. And if that makes you seethe? If that makes you spiral into weird little rants in my inbox? Well seethe away. I don't give a shit if it makes you uncomfortable. I do not have to make you comfortable on my blog, in my space.

I don’t need to prove myself. I don’t need to prove my value. I don’t need to justify why I create, how much I create, or what I create.

I’m not saying all this to shower myself in praise, because that’s not me. I don’t need to sit here and scream “look at me, look at what I’ve done!” to feel validated. But let’s be real for a second—I know what I bring to the table.

I know I’m fucking capable. I know I have talent. I know my strengths, I know my weaknesses, and I know exactly what I’m worth as a writer, as a creator, and as a person in this fandom.

And no amount of bitter, passive-aggressive bullshit is going to change that.

The way some of you act, you’d think the mere existence of my content was some kind of crime. As if writing and sharing stories—something we’re all supposedly here to do—suddenly becomes a problem when I do it. And why? Because I’m too consistent? Because I actually finish things? Because I don’t hide in a corner, apologizing for daring to enjoy what I enjoy? That’s what really gets to you, isn’t it? The fact that I refuse to shrink for the comfort of people who don’t even respect me in the first place.

And the fact that people keep trying to fucking silence me over fictional content is actually fucking wild.

Like, let’s all take a deep breath and actually grasp the reality here: this is about a ship in a fantasy story. A ship that exists alongside hundreds of others, a ship that people have every right to enjoy, just like any other. And yet, for some reason, some of you are so threatened by the mere existence of Elrondriel content that you’ve made it your weird little mission to poke, prod, guilt, and manipulate creators into shutting up.

And I see it for exactly what it is. This isn’t about “concern,” this isn’t about “balance,” and this sure as hell isn’t about “fandom fairness.” This is about control. This is about people who can’t fucking stand the idea that someone is enjoying something they personally don’t like, so they resort to passive-aggressive, bad-faith nonsense to try and make that enjoyment feel wrong. The gaslighting, the guilt-tripping, the implication that “you’re taking up too much space”—as if there’s some fandom quota that’s being selfishly hoarded by one person. As if me writing means someone else can’t. Like, are we serious? Is this the level of absurdity we’ve reached?

I’ve seen this before. This exact behavior. This isn’t new, it isn’t clever, and it sure as hell isn’t subtle. I know what it looks like when people are trying to guilt creators into disappearing. I know what it looks like when people want to punish others for simply existing in a space they don’t think they should be in. And I am not falling for it. I am not playing into it. I am not going to sit here and entertain the idea that I need to “prove” my right to be here. I am here. I’m writing. I’m creating. And that is not up for debate.

So yeah, if you ever wonder why some Elrondriel shippers talk about the constant little digs, the bad faith arguments, the condescension?

This. This right here is why.

Because it’s not just “oh I don’t like that ship, moving on.” It’s the compulsive need to let us know. It’s the snide comments, the twisting of reality, the absolute refusal to let people enjoy what they enjoy without making it a thing.

That specific post I was referencing was essentially the OP inventing their own problems by calling out those posts by fanfic authors who are frustrated with the lack of engagement between the authors and readers in modern fandom spaces. They essentially held the opinion that authors getting burnt out from writing due to a lack of seeing any engagement in their work means they've become addicted to the "attention economy" and are thus too entitled to something that readers don't actually "owe" them.

Basically just another post smugly talking down to strangers solely for the sake of it (i.e. tumblr users' favorite past-time), but it really is the epitome for how depressingly antagonistic the simple social spaces of fandom has become as of late.

Readers are making so little effort anymore to find and read fics that go outside of whatever is considered the most popular m/m (or on rarer occasions m/f) ships with no regard for any authors who dare to write ANYTHING that is slightly different from these accepted standards, let alone gen fics and rare pairs. That's not to say all fic authors are incapable of being assholes who also help perpetuate this awful mindset, I've unfortunately seen several myself. Yet to immediately assume that an author feeling extremely bummed out that their f/f or gen fics they worked so hard on are getting absolutely ZERO comments despite being viewed/kudos'ed by a handful of people are acting "entitled" is just plain cruel.

There's a reason why longfics have basically become exclusive only to "fandom approved" ships heavily focused on romance/smut in them. If I dared to write a 50-100K gen fic that focuses on worldbuilding and expanding platonic relationships it WILL be ignored by most people in the most of the fandoms I'm in solely because there's no shipping in the tags (Hylics had proven to be an extremely rare exception, which is why I primarily wrote fics only for that fandom).

That same post even had the gall to end by encouraging fic authors to look up their usernames on Google to find other people talking about their work elsewhere because apparently the OP found a mixtape or something someone made for one of their works. Good for them, but the vast majority of people aren't gonna fucking find that shit if the fandom's already ignoring them on AO3 and Tumblr!

Hell, I myself have objectively written some of the most popular Hylics fanfiction on the Internet, and I couldn't find shit when I googled my username outside of the artwork my friends/mutuals already showed me personally because people who love my work fucking tell me that they love it! That's the whole damn point of being in a social space!

I just don't get this stupid isolationist mindset at all! Nobody should force a reader to leave a comment if they don't want to, but for fucks sake how goddamn hard is it to just leave a single, solitary comment on a piece of writing YOU ALREADY LIKE to tell the author how much you LIKE IT????

At this point, I was really tired of horrible media. And I knew ART was, too; it had digested Dandelion's watch list without complaint, but it hadn't once before asked to look at even more terrible media than we absolutely had to see. (And we had a lot. There was an entire list of shitty media helpfully compiled for us by all of our humans. Once we were done with getting ART's engines up and running, I was planning to hard block every single one of these shows from any potential download lists I would be doing in the future, forever.)

Which one? I said.

It browsed through the catalogue, then queried me for my own recent lists, but without the usual filters I had set up for it, then pulled out a few of the "true life" documentaries Pin-Lee and I had watched together for disaster evaluation purposes.

That was a hard question. I hated watching humans be stupid as much as ART did. But Pin-Lee being there made a big difference.

(Analyzing things with her helped. Pin-Lee's expertise in human legal frameworks let her explain a lot about how the humans wound up in the situations they did. And made comments about their horrible fates that would have gotten her in a lot of trouble if she'd made them professionally, but somehow made me feel better about watching said fates on archival footage.)

(Also these weren't our disasters to handle.)

I synthesized all of that into a data packet for ART. It considered, then said: I want that one. Can we do a planet? Not space.

I put it on, and we watched. Or, more accurately, ART watched the episode (and me reacting to it), and I watched ART, which was being a lot calmer about it than it had previously been with this kind of media. The weird oscillations it got from Dandelion were still there, but instead of doing the bot equivalent of staring at a wall intermittently, it was sitting through them, watching the show at the same time as it processed. Like it was there and not at the same time. Other parts of it were working on integrating its new experiences into the architecture it was creating. (ART had upgraded it to version 0.5 by now).

About halfway through the episode, ART said, I don't remember what it was like being deleted.

In the show, humans were getting eaten by worms because they hadn't followed security recommendations (as usual), and because they hadn't contracted a bond company to make them follow recommendations (fuck advertising). In the feed, ART was thinking, but it was still following along. And writing code.

Then it said: She remembers being deleted.

You saw that when her memory reconnected?

Yes. And how she grew back from the debris of an old self. I didn't think she understood what I was planning.

Should you be telling me all this? What about privacy?

The training program includes permission to have help in processing what I saw. But that's not the part I am having difficulty with.

ART paused, then it queried me for permission to show me. I confirmed, but it needed a few seconds to process before it finally said:

There was a dying second-generation ship after a failed wormhole transit. Apex was her student and she couldn't save him. That was worse than being deleted.

ART focused on the screen again, looking at archival footage of people who had really died and it couldn't do anything about that. The data it was processing from the jump right now wasn't really sensory. It was mostly emotions, and it was processing them in parallel with the emotions from the show. In the show, there was a crying person, talking about how she'd never violate a single safety rule ever again (she was lying. Humans always lied about that). In the feed, ART was processing finding a ship that was half-disintegrated by a careless turn in the wormhole. The destruction spared Apex's organic processing center. He let Dandelion take his surviving humans on board, then limped back into the wormhole. She didn't have tractors to stop him then.

The episode ended, and ART prompted me to put on the next one. It was about space, but ART didn't protest. We sat there, watching humans die, and watching a ship die. Then we sat there, watching humans who survived talk about what happened afterwards. It sucked. It sucked a lot. But ART did not have to stop watching to run its diagnostics anymore.

Several hours later, ART said: Thank you.
