no fights no tears no shade but is it fair if i say in 2024 that "fantastic baby" by bigbang rips off "abracadabra" by brown eyed girls and is worse than it?

2013-2014 / Where It All Started.
Rosalie had attended a BTS fansign in 2013, when she got some free time after training
She loved meeting all the boys but her favorite was Yoongi
He was confused when she confessed that statement towards, yet she explained that his attitude and rapping skills drew her in and she’s excited to see what they become
She hoped they would make it big and all their dreams would come true
Rosie also confessed that she was training too at Pledis and hoped one day he could see her on stage and cheer her on like she does him
Their interaction was short but memorable
Yoongi spoke about her to his company and asked if they could get in contact with hers to see if it would be allowed for her to visit back and forth for training purposes
Pledis was skeptical, not wanting a trainee of theirs to get into a scandal before they even made a debut, but as long as their meetings were supervised then it was fine
(As if a 13 year old girl is thinking of anything other then school and her training?? Shut the fuck up Pledis)
The big brother roll set in very quickly for Yoongi
The two would spend time together with Yoongi teaching her skills with writing music and helping her rap even though she knew she wanted to be a singer
Knowing how to rap wasn’t a bad skill, as Yoongi would say
Every single time they would work together Rosalie took in every word Yoongi said like he hung the moon in the sky
Again — Rosalie was a fan of Yoongi and all the other members of BTS. So, it was crazy for her to be in the same room as the boy, gaining tips and tricks from him even though he was still a rookie
She just knew though that he and his member would be something one day, and she’d be right their supporting them!
2015-2018 / Debut, and More
After months of training and putting her blood, sweat and tears into everything that she does
Rosalie finally debuts
She hadn’t told a single soul that her groups first music video would be out on May 26 that year
Not even Yoongi, it was suppose to be a surprise
And surprised he was
Yoongi didn’t find out until Seventeen had a stage on the same day as BTS at the same place ( author note, i know run by bts was released in april 2015 so i feel like their schedules might have overlap but im not sure, so we are going to pretend they did!)
BTS has been busy that year, changing their concept and figuring out what said group was going to be with their newest comeback ‘Run’ — so Yoongi didn’t really have the chance to ask Rosalie many questions other then
‘How are you doing?’ ‘Are you eating correctly?’ ‘Is anyone being mean to you?’ ect ect
So it definitely threw the older boy off when the (at the time) 5’6 girl comes running at him and yelling “I debuted! I debuted! Aren’t you happy?”
Yoongi was very excited for her even if he didn’t show it well
Rosie knew though
She knew that he was proud and little scared for her as well in his eyes.
Eyes tell.
Yoongi and Rosie cheered each other on silently and behind the scenes
The older boy would send her flowers and words of encouragement when she had a showcase she’s was nervous to perform for or when she needed some uplifting words
Rosalie would show him pictures of her pulling his photos cards and would subtly promote BTS whenever she could.
The kpop community found out of their friendship when Yoongi released his solo mixtape under the name Agust D and they had a collab named ‘So Far Away’
Fans were surprised but at the same time not really that surprised, if that makes sense?
Everyone saw the subtly of their friendship, a senior and junior.
But it was more of older brother and younger sister.
Yoongi even though he would encourage her and give her advice, he still teased her.
They took the world by storm again when posting a photo together on BTS twitter with the caption “annoying little sister.”
Tumblr media
Since 2017 they’ve became known to the world as the nations favorite siblings
Even though they aren’t related!
2020-Present / A Lifetime Friendship
The continued to have a strong bond throughout the years
They released many collabs together such as the song Eight on Rosalie’s first solo album, People Pt.2 on Yoongi’s Second mixtape
The public loved and hold on to every interaction they have
Rosalie’s parents think of Yoongi as a son they dreamed for
Yes, they love their two daughters but having son wouldn’t be so bad
At least that’s what Rosie’s mother says every time the older boy visits
Rosalie calls Yoongi any chance she gets
You know how their are some girls that call their mom or dad when they are in the car or getting ready, that’s Rosalie with Yoongi
Constantly.
The amount of youtube complications made for Yoongi and Rosie’s friendship
Clips resurface every year such as . . .
A clip from one of Rosie’s vlog of her and Yoongi going strawberry picking and then Rosie forcing the boy to bake a strawberry cake from the fruit they picked that day
Or Yoongi being recorded supporting Rosie at her Solo debut showcase in Seoul
Clips of Rosalie’s collection go BTS album collection right next to her SEVENTEEN ones, she likes to show off the photo cards she collect
(She’s one of us guys)
The two have never argued, disagreements yes, but they never get angry with each other
Rosalie is so happy she has someone like Yoongi in her life and Yoongi feels the exact same.
Twin flames, the two will stick by each others side till the very end

Listen, for YEARS Armys have ALWAYS found something to use as an excuse or scape-goat instead of taking the hate Jimin gets 24/7 as something SERIOUS.
2015-end of 2016: "He was asking for it 'cause he's a flirt", "He should stop getting so close to X/Y member", "Its because he cares too much about his weight", "He probably has an ED", "Its because he's so insecure", "I wish he would stop posting so much everyday so the haters would stop giving us a hard time reporting".
2017 - They blamed JIMIN with "maybe he did something wrong to piss ppl off--", "He's such a bad friend for forgetting to write his bandmate's name on a chalkboard", to justify the hate.
In 2018 - They blamed it on "Shipping wars" and their solution to the problem? "Just block & ignore them" (the blocking in question was for ANYONE who dared to defend Jimin; ANYONE with a Jimin pfp got targeted instead of the actual shippers, aka TAEKOOKERS, causing the problems).
2019 - They started blaming JIMIN again, even though JIMIN was THE ONLY MEMBER who got targeted and STALKED during their vacation (he was literally followed to EVERY country he visited with his friends, while we knew nothing about the other member's whereabouts for two and a half months).
2020-2021 - They started the "Jimin is lazy", "Jimin is useless without the group", "He's just pretending to be depressed for attention 'cause all the other members are more talented/popular--", "Its HIS fault the other members get forced to sing in high notes" (after it was known Pdogg preferred the high notes in songs because it makes them sound better and only Jimin could sing them)
Early 2022 when he released his first collab outside the group - "We're not gonna support his collab", "He should've collabed with one of the members instead", "See? Even they didn't support it.", "He ruined his only chance to debut solo--"
2022, Post-group-hiatus-announcement: "Jimin is lazy", "Jimin is jobless", "No one wants to work with him", "Jimin will never survive as a soloist, he depends too much on the group", "Its not like he cares about making music".
2023, PJMS had ENOUGH and started fighting back instead of staying quiet: "Jimin solos are to blame", "Jimin solos are the worst", "We don't take solos serious" (even though their biggest "ot7" fanbases ARE run by SOLOS & Jimin antis themselves.)
And its not just on the i-side, its also happening on the k-side as well. Ya'll saw it happen in real time last year when the big Korean Army "ot7" fanbases (like ARMY52Hertz, who we now know is run by a HYBE employee who despises Jimin) EXCLUDED Jimin from all votings so that ONLY JK got most of the awards and everytime i-fans tried to warn K-armys we were told "You know nothing about our country rules" (Translation: "Korean fans only follow ONE big "official" fanbase and do absolutely EVERYTHING they say without questioning otherwise they will be "kicked out") and only came to their senses when it was too late and the whole Kpop fandom were laughing at them.
Its a never ending cycle, I was THERE on every single era, I saw every single snicker and back-handed comment thrown at him from the very fandom that claims to "love him more than anyone". Because they ONLY pretend to love him when he's being a cheerleader to another member, or when he thanks "Armys" in general. But otherwise they wouldn't give a shit about him. Not as an individual. They only care about his validation and acknowledgement of the BRAND-name "Army".
Its why they HATE the idea of him having fans outside of the group; fans who SEE HIM as an individual and TALENTED Solo-Artist; fans willing to support and fight to defend HIM till the end. Why they need to correct and insert the other members under every single media article, youtube reaction or post praising JIMIN ONLY. Because to most brainwashed Armys the ONLY talented dancer is Jhope, the ONLY good singer is JK, the ONLY good looking member is V or Jin, the ONLY talented writers/composers are the RL. Because its what they've GASLIGHTED EACH OTHER TO BELIEVE.
To them Jimin is just "the cute, sexy member" who's also an Angel because he cares about THEIR FAVORITE MEMBER.
Its also why they are quick to attack anyone who self-proclaims to be HIS fan (Jimin stan, PJMs, Jimin solo, ect), but never want to become part of "Army". Because outsiders can easily see how fucked up the BTS fandom really IS and HAS BEEN in the past couple of years and why they've earned the name and reputation as
"The Most Toxic Fandom in Kpop".

It's 21:09, or 9:09 pm on the 12 hr clock shifters. You know the drill. Let's shift.
∘₊ ✧───────────────────✧₊∘
Some stuff I have included in my kpop drs (Specifically O.M.G and MKB) that make them really special to me😫🥹❤️
000 :: Friendships and crushes
Around 2011 to 2018, companies like BIGHIT, Starship, and JYP were very lenient toward friendships with other K-pop idols opposite their gender. This is so special to me because I have THE LOUDEST MOUTH EVER when it comes to who I've got a crush on (looking directly at you wonyoung, jungkook, nayeon, jhope, chuu, taehyung, jimin, keeho, yeonjun, yoongi, sana, jin and namjoon) and who I am best friends with. (looking directly at you wonyoung, jungkook, nayeon, jhope, chuu, taehyung, jimin, keeho, yeonjun, yoongi, sana, jin and namjoon again.) Yeah i am best friends with idols i have crushes on If you couldn't tell. This basically gave me the freedom to talk my ass off about "Ooo wait whys San from ateez kindaa" or "NAH cus what do yall know about my goat min yoonfreak yo." And "No cus I've got the biggest girl crush on Jennie from blackpink right now"
All companies would only become stricter with this after 2019 due to fans complaining about dating rumours and feeling like the relationships are too close (girl I know like I've heard these complaints before) because they like the idea of their idols being single. This makes the 3rd generation of kpop even more precious due to how open idols were with who they were friends with.
Just to make this clear tho, no one in BTS has confirmed or explicitly admitted they have a crush on anyone in O.M.G (or MKB for that matter) they have only mentioned how "so and so" is really cool or subtle compliments like "blah blah is actually really pretty" but I will admit Taehyung mouth is almost as big as mine when it comes to who he likes lmao and sometimes he makes it a little obvious with the "subtle hints" he gives☠️☠️
001 :: Fun facts about O.M.G and MKB!
OMG and MKB are practically the same. One of the only things that differentiate them from each other is the way OMG and MKB was introduced to the KPOP industry.
O.M.G started off as an independent kpop group made by 6 girls for fun but then ended up being adopted by JYP in 2015 because of how much they had blown up in Korea and JYP saw a lot of potential in O.M.G, but even before then, they were widely known and loved amongst Koreans and most of the Western world. It started off as an animated girl group, all music, choreography, aesthetics, designs and art were made by me lol but the girls were basically of me and my 5 friends. They would debut the same year JYP adopted them and it would be in 2016 when O.M.G was officially recognised and accepted as a kpop group.
O.M.G would also be labelled as the experimental group because O.M.G wasn't made to be serious but for fun and because of how successful every era of O.M.G is. I mean literally not a single genre they have done has flopped they are just that good.
Now MKB is literally the same as them. 6 girls who body every and all Genres and concepts and aesthetics like it's nothing. Icons. But MKB wasn't a pre-existing group. JYP had put these 6 girls together and allowed them Creative freedom. This was an experiment made by him that would only come around ONCE and ONE TIME ONLY. He wanted to see what 6 girls could random make together and see if they would be a hit (he wanted to copy BTS lmao) thus why MKB is labelled as the female BTS because of how similar their aura and character was. No one can explain it but everyone gets it.
Both O.M.G and MKB's fanbases are called "Charmings," and their fans independently refer to the members as "Darlings"
How did the fanbases of O.M.G AND MKB even come to be? Literally 70% of Charmings are originally ARMYs. Because of this I frequently refer to my fanbase as CHARMYs
O.M.G and MKB when they aren't abbreviated? O.M.G stands for Oh My Gosh and MKB stands for MaKe-Believe.
002 :: Small appearances in other idols mvs and helping produce music
Randomly popping up as a background character in a kpop group's mv who I am close to isn't rare. Sometimes it's not very obvious, sometimes I am literally hiding in plain sight. I tend to try not to do it too much tho. I can't be THAT ACCESSIBLE..
I already make all of my music from scratch. So I thought it would be pretty cool if I git nosy and helped TWICE or ITZY with ad-libs and instrumentals. No this isn't an excuse to hangout with them more why tf would you accuse me of that.

|| The Friends Era (2014-2016)
Tumblr media
Yoonmi and Mark actually met in 2014 because SHINee’s Jonghyun introduced them, but we didn’t actually get any public interaction or word of their friendship until 2015. Yoonmi was 2 years into her career, and Mark hadn’t even debuted yet, but he was on Mickey Mouse Club. Yoonmi guested on one episode where the concept was having all the staff leave the kids with Yoonmi so they would be comfortable asking her for advice and what to expect as kids in the music industry.
Mark had taken one of the seats next to her and offered her a blanket to cover her legs with because she was in shorts. Although Hannah led the others in speaking to Yoonmi, the latter often looked to Mark for what seemed like encouragement to speak.
We don’t get any interactions between them again until Mark debuts a year later. NCT U’s The 7th Sense promotions overlapped with BTS’s Fire promotions. When Fire won 1st place in Music Bank, Mark can be seen giving Yoonmi a one-sided hug. Just a month later, Yoonmi was promoting her solo debut the same time NCT 127 was promoting their debut. When Yoonmi won 1st in MCountdown, the tannies weren’t there, so Key had 127 accompany Yoonmi on stage.
Tumblr media
Though many people got distracted by the fact Yoonmi and Haechan had a secret handshake, no one missed how Mark and Yoonmi lingered in their hug a little longer, or how he stayed next to her the whole encore stage. An ex-SM staff mentioned that Mark walked her back to her waiting room, which was on the opposite end of NCT 127’s.
Months later, it’s awards show season. Most known NCT-BTS interactions consisted of Hannah and Yoonmi hanging out, but apparently Yoonmi went to NCT Dream’s dorm often. Back to awards shows, MAMA was a gem. Not only were there Markmi hugs (the ICONIC ending stage hug where he lifted her), we had Yoonmi rapping along to Mark’s verses, Mark cheering especially in Yoonmi’s parts, and even Mark possibly jealously watching Yoonmi and NCT Jisung talking.
|| The Courting Era (2017-2018)
Tumblr media
We didn’t actually know this at the time, but Mark and Yoonmi talked about it after they were exposed. Fans had released pictures from down the street of a KFC where you could see Mark and Yoonmi talking. At the time, we all thought it was them bonding while preparing for the SM Station Yoonmi would feature in and Mark’s feature in her album, but apparently Mark had also confessed to her and promised he’d prove himself when she said she felt scared.
They did a good job of keeping it lowkey. Aside from rare school photos together, the release of All I Wanna Do, Wannabe, Mark promoting with Yoonmi for Wannabe, their KCon Mexico special stage, and the selfies they posted after each of those, there was no visual evidence of them spending time together. Hannah and Jungkook (Chocouple nation presidents) sometimes would mention Markmi hanging out, but that was it.
|| The Secretly Dating Era (2018-2020)
Tumblr media
Their anniversary is in early February, that’s all we know. They like keeping it private, and we respect that. But apparently Mark set up an at-home date for them and officially asked her that day to be his girlfriend.
They still did a good job of keeping it lowkey to the point where apparently most of the neos didn’t even know they were dating, but everyone noticed how, despite how both of them had increasingly busy schedules, they both seemed to glow and be happier. (Aside from those few weeks Yoonmi and Yoongi were at odds, which is rumored to be because Markmi started dating)
|| The Reveal (January 1, 2020)
Tumblr media
Every year, kpop and kdrama fans wait for Dispatch’s celebrity couple drop on New Year’s Day. To everyone’s surprise, Mark and Yoonmi were announced. Stan Twitter went into pandemonium, and everyone was clowning dispatch because we all knew they were “just friends”.
To everyone’s further surprise, SM and BigHit both confirmed it later that day, and Mark and Yoonmi themselves tweeted about it, confirming they were dating.
|| The Struggle Era (2020)
Tumblr media
Around late January of 2020, Yoonmi released a M.Y. Everyday video titled “I have a Boyfriend”. Here, we found out about the courting era, how long they’ve been dating, and the fact that they have been dating for around two years by then. It’s also cute because around the middle of the year they ended up both having pink hair!
It was rough for them since their schedules kept them apart, then Covid hit, and they didn’t get to see each other at all. It wasn’t until around August, eight months later, that they were able to see each other. Mark said it was the best birthday gift he could get, seeing Yoonmi and even having her play the leading lady in his “As We Wish” mini drama. Watch it, I’m begging! Every source ever that was there for the filming said the two were just holding hands and silently exchanging smiles and stories almost the whole time.
They did a weverse/vlive together, each of them streaming from each of their phones. They were smiling and leaning on each other the whole time, answering questions, and everyone could see how happy and comfortable they were with each other.
|| The Private but Not Secret Era (2021-eternity)
Tumblr media
We don’t actually know too much about their relationship since they have been keeping it between them and their close friends and family (WHICH WE SHOULD RESPECT, OKAY?), but we do know from some stories that they try their best to spend time together whether it’s going out or staying in each other’s places. As fans, let’s remember that we should be more than happy with the fact that they actually talk about or mention each other a lot, especially compared to other celebrity couples. We also get the birthday posts and the occasional random instagram stories, but that’s it, and that’s more than enough.
Mark and Yoonmi are two of the most precious, talented, and hard-working people in the entertainment industry, and I’m glad they found comfort and solace in each other. As of this month (december 2023), they have been together for five years and about ten months. Cheers to a bright future for the both of them!

trivia:
— along with coups, she's the member who has the longest training period in seventeen. she started training at sm and was supposed to debut with f(x) but didn't due to her age, then, she traded to pledis right after, still in 2009.
— she was actually supposed to debut in a girl group that still didn't have any plans to happen, but, pledis saw a lot of potential in her and decided to put her on Seventeen TV for her to get along with the audience and the members. she quickly got accepted and became a sweetheart to everyone who met her.
— she's the 4th oldest member in the group, she's the oldest 1996 liner and one of the aces of the group. anything you put her to do she will ace it perfectly without any obstacles.
— nari's number one nickname, used by almost everyone who knows her, is nabi. since she loves to make friends and is easily outgoing, the members started calling her that, which quickly spread around and now everyone calls her that.
— she was literally everywhere in 2018/19 due to a famous fancam of her dancing to exo's love shot during an award show. her talent and visuals stood out to a lot of people, and her fanbase triplicated due to it. she gained the nation's passion nickname due to this masterpiece.
— nari is close to all of the boys, especially the younger ones whom she loves to spoil and give attention to. she tends a lot to seungcheol too, since she knows how hard he works and how little he cares for himself. she's known to be seventeen's mom along with jeonghan, in which fans make jokes about them fighting over the title.
— nari's biggest fear nowadays is the day seungcheol and jeonghan enlist for the army. she's really not prepared for this, and she's been dreading the subject ever since the year started. fans make sure to try and not mention it too much because they know she goes through social media quite a lot.
— during their trainee days, nari used to go out of her way of school just to drop the younger ones at their own school, most of the times she would arrive late for her own classes, but she says it was worth it.
— she has one of the highest iqs in kpop, she's really smart, but sometimes she just forgets it and acts like the stupidest person on earth — which may seem like it but it isn't purposeful.
— she's openly pansexual, which made her receive a lot of backlash in which was quickly turned down due to a lot of people standing up for her. nari is really grateful for them and never forgets to thank them whenever she has to give a speech or something.
— she's also known to be hybe's groups mom. she loves to say that she adopted enhypen, newjeans, lesserafim and txt. she's also really close to fromis_9 members and says that jiheon is her adopted baby.
— even though she's not a part of the performance team, nari practically begged to go to i-land with her members. she was so happy that she was allowed to go that you could see it just by her face. nari says that, on that day, she knew that ni-ki, jungwon and sunoo were going to be a part of her babies.
— nari's also an actress, she has been in some k-dramas and movies. her members love to tease her because of it and whenever one of her new dramas gets released, get prepared for a weverse thunderstorm of posts teasing her.
— she has a dog, who lived in the apartment she used to share with wonwoo and mingyu. now, she moved out to her own apartment in yongsam-gu and also adopted a cat.
— her number one hobby is cheating on games with jeonghan.
— she's currently in a relationship with a male idol, people now that she's taken but they don't know who it is because of her members exposure of her life that she doesn't really care.

As a kpop fan, I’ve known bts since 2015 (I used to be a hottest, 2pm fans, and I first noticed bts after their joint stage with 2pm during 2014 kbs song festival), and I remember jk and tae were inseparable and they were always together and they were loved by many fans across the whole kpop fans community (fans used to ship them as friends back then and romantic shippers were very rare as they were only two teenage boys).
I became an active army in 2019 and all I can remember was the lack of seeing jk and tae in the same frame compared not only to jkk but even to other pairs of bts which had me shocked because I remembered them as being thick as thieves and I asked myself what happened to them? whenever we got a glimpse of them, it was obvious that they were close but it used to happen not too frequently.
it lasted until mid-2021 and then they began loosening up a bit and the rest is history.
Hi anon!
I think the difference is very noticeable indeed. I get a bit annoyed when people claim it’s because of Tae and Jk becoming awkward and distant, because everyone should at least be able to see that there was never a time where Jk and Tae were so at odds with each other that they weren’t able to at least work together and be pleasant. All throughout their so called ‘awkward and distant years’ there are clear signs of them still being close. Bh would still have been able to benefit from their popularity, yet they chose not to. It was definitely a choice to not pair them the way they used to.

For the honest answer ask game: what's the history of your blog? (this really just includes how/when you began blogging on tumblr, content, your interactions and your special moments on here etc; whatever you wish to prioritize for the ask in context).
honest hour question answered 3 days later <3 truly hope the wait was worth it love hahah
as someone who's gone through my archive already, you know i started out as a bts fan account in 2015. (my previous blog is not gonna be discussed for the simple reason that it's barely relevant to this one)
i believe i used to tag and organise my reblogs? there was a time where i cared enough and i loved srolling through my own blog, i stopped enjoying that when i became more involved w/ fandom on here and things weren't aesthetics based anymore. i don't like going through it that much now. i used to play around with themes, search for them, tweak colours and fonts for hours. after i returned years later there was an issue with the editor so now i can't change my theme at all and it sucks cause i just want to edit a few things.
so it started of as a bts fanblog, then i started rb-ing other kpop stuff, maybe afterwards i started sharing gifsets from movies and series i liked? as for fandom, i had a good amount of mutuals - accidentally became one with a girl from my country, we went out once and it was very nice <3 procrastinated and lost track fo tag games back then too lmaoo i felt a lot of dissatisfaction over it so i try to do everything now with my current fandom :)
back then is when i started reading fanfiction - i believe my first imagine was a taegi one where v was an artist and yoongi a photographer lol i stumbled upon it on the dash randomly and i got introduced to ao3 a bit after
iirc for the following years after i'd stopped stanning bts, i used to come back either relatively often or once in a blue moon - in the beginning i was just enjoying wtv my dash was offering me or seeking out specific stuff, then i started using it as a tracklist of what shows i've watched haha, no tags, just rb after finishing a show.
i started engaging with fandom around the release of episode 5 of kinnporsche, i read a bunch of posts on here, then tms2 came around and i got even more into reading people's takes..at some point i started talking to people i guess hahah i don't even know when i started trying to put out content, so to say, i just know i was doing screenshot posts short before i found myself pushed to attempt gifs and that was after big dragon had just finished airing.
then i started my giffing journey. had support from @gillianthecat whom i loved giffing paulnice for. honestly that and the discussions we had were such an important part of me having fun with this site and keeping it up. and @joyladagang, my self-proclaimed #1 hype woman, made me feel super welcome. then i got even more moots, at some point i started reaching out or actively reciprocating others attempts at getting closer (though i had been active in discussions before that, i just mean i got a bit braver and started acting more familiar with everyone (esp w/ ppl i got closer to through @joyladagang like @cankersoregirl, @feralmuskyscentedhoepran, @loserlesbianongsa etc.)
i'm grateful to a lot of people on here, truly. it's not supposed to be a shoutout post so i won't be tagging any more people (esp since i would have to tag everyone who follows me plus a bunch of people i follow which..it's a bit much) but i'm genuinely thankful for each person that enjoys my rants, gifs, theories or wtv the things i post classify as, whether they found a post by accident or follow the blog. and i'm grateful to the creators i follow, and i'm happy to talk to so many sweet, smart and funny individuals on various topics daily.
so this is where my blog is at right now - trying to do a bit of everything and talking a bit with everyone. my issue, tbh, is i'm trying a bit too hard to satisfy everyone which sounds ridiculous but i am a bit of a people pleaser at times so it checks out lol

Hi Storm! It might seem a shady question, but it's just curiosity: have you ever disapproved of something the boys did or said, or felt that something wasn't exactly your cup of tea?
I'm thinking about the fact that even between the closest and most affectionate friends disagreements can happen, and that it can happen also with idols, actors etc; I'm thinking about the recent declarations of Jackson Wang, and on a more personal note of a disagreement I had with one of my best friends. It never happens, and then it happens, and I was wondering if you ever felt like this towards BTS, since I think you have a cool and rational perspective on things and you aren't one of those fans that follow blindly their myths.
Personally, I don't have any issues with BTS, and even if I think about some wrong stuff like the misogynistic lyrics Namjoon wrote when he was very young, I also think about his mature and responsible reaction, and how he addressed clearly the issue for what it was without trying to sweep it under the rug. He held himself accountable, a thing that can be hard, so it was worthy of respect in my opinion.
About what is or isn't my cup of tea, I think I feel less of a connection with Taehyung, but this doesn't mean I don't find him quite funny, or adorable or smart, at times. It just means I feel less drawn to him and more towards other members. I think it means he's not my bias? I still don't really use the terminology 😅
I made these two examples in hope you see this question as sincere and not as a provocative one: I adore BTS, I just think they're humans and deserving to be treated as such.
Hi, BTS are humans and they are not infallible. Of course that's okay to talk about, as long as the conversation is respectful, which you have been and I appreciate. Yes, there have definitely been things they've done that I haven't liked. Most honestly that I think they've grown and learned from though honestly too. Because they are geniunely good people.
Tumblr media
In their early years, they did have some issues with cultural appropriation with their use of black culture in, probably an effort to be more hip hop, but just ended up being inappropriate. As well as some issues with cultural appropriation for Native American Cultures as well. Some hairstyles they (all) did, using AAVE a few times in an earlier interview in not a great way, some not great comments about not wanting to be "too tan." And honestly, mostly after 2015, they grew up a lot and things got better and they seemed to learn. There haven't really been any similar type issues that I know of and they are in general, much more sensitive and culturally aware. Especially considering the world wide stage they now stand on. And while I fully appreciate their growth and respect it, doesn't make me not cringe and some old photos of theirs at times too. (Although there also isn't as many instances as antis like to pretend there are) But it's not an issue for them currently. And Namjoon even apologized for his past actions in cultural appropriation during an interview before too and made a log video with an apology later as well too. A very sincere one. Similar to his apology for any participation he had in misogyny with his lyrics. Fully owning up to it and growing.
Tumblr media
I also, and this is the only one that is still something that is hard for me sometimes, hate how entrenched they are in diet culture. And I know a lot of that has to do with how they were raised and probably lowkey traumatized in the kpop industry where that is a HUGE deal. But while they are professionals, and they do have staff and med staff and trainers with them to help make these sometimes unhealthy choices to be healthier. They do have a lot of people who look up to them and I sometimes wish they would be able to help preach a healthier relationship/mindset with food and with body positivity towards themselves. I do think they have gotten BETTER about this, but it's still prevalent. I don't necessarily fault them for it at all either. Because it's an industry thing and self love is a continuous and constant journey. I actually have an ask about this topic too that I've been sitting on and trying to figure out how to best answer that and I'll get into it more then, or maybe I won't and I'll keep my answer more general. It depends on how much I think I actually have to say about it all. Lol I'm not REALLY wanting to open these topics up for debate or discussion really as I don't think there is anything that can be added here and be a productive conversation.
Tumblr media
The misogyny issues brought up were never ones I personally found offensive, but that's just me and I know other people can feel differently about that as well. And that's okay.
Overall though, they are geniunely good people, tend to make good decisions, and geniunely care about people, the world, their fans, each other, etc. I trust them, I also trust them to make good decisions for themselves and those around them and as examples to the world. I trust them to learn and grow from any mistakes. And I trust them to do what's right for them and trust in them as good hearted people, because they really are. Hopefully that all makes sense and this is taken and received well, as I mean it to be. Love them all so dearly. And love yall. Thanks for the ask 💜

less than an hour left why am i getting so nervous excited 😭😭😭
"do i want to stay up til 2am for this" stupid thought considering im always awake past 2am anyways
#after 8ish years a lot of the groups i was into arent active anymore or only a handful of them went solo#so a large part of it has been year theres been groups i ended up liking and its been long enough that ive also experienced comebacks#but this is exo. i was there when their predebut previews and song were being released#i was their for their whole minut long lore dump in front of their debut song#i was there during the sudden [redacted] leaving the group right before their first concert#there when luhan left the next year and then tao's FATHER had to beg him to leave bc they were literally distroying his body#not letting him have a break and recover his ankle was so swollen he was in a wheelchair at one point iirc#theres still youtube videos floating around of his final concert with the rest of the group too i bet. they were all crying and emotional#man..................#like ive mentioned before that overdose is one of my favorite title tracks of theirs but sometimes i wonder if it would be monster if i had#the same level of nostalgic attachment to it as overdose. bc i was there for overdose's release but didnt know about monster until last yea#but monster gets me so hyped and the vocals are so good and the build up during the rap into the final chorus and the choreo in the mv and#but then i think of overdose and the nostalgia ON TOP of how hype that also is just drowns everything else out and i just have to love it m#more*#anyways love shot is literally going to remain [insert xfiles theme] for where tf i heard it bc i had negative interest in kpop in 2018/19#oh but tempo was released/promoted before love shot and that song is straight up a masterpiece its never too later to discover that song#anyways idk what iw as rambling about#OH RIGHT ykno.... i see 'exo is 9' trending and just said in general a lot and while i get the sentiment its also a little bittersweet to h#hear* every time#while lots of insideous information has come to light about kris now that there are 'ot11' fans now so to speak#i always wonder if the people saying exo is 9 got into exo after not just kris but after the other 2 left as well#like i still remember the days of 'luhan is your first bias even if hes not your bias'#so are they just erasing that memory of originally being 12 or does it genuinely not get brought up as much anymore#i know of their older stuff growl is the most famous and that mv is mostly focused on choreo so you dont see all their faces as much#so reallu only call me baby has a move obvious 'who is that' problem(?) and by that point only tao was left of the 3 who would#eventually leave yknow? and i know this was a long time ago. theyve not been part of the group longer than they were#but idk. i lost interest in kpop around that 2015 call me baby time period so its one of the last things in MY memory#so it always sticks out to me#but despite all that theyre still around and hey look baekhyun is one of the most popular soloists around nowadays which is insane to me#but idk where i was going with this this is just so surreal to me that this is real

⌗ kpop daebak show with Eric Nam (part one) !!
ᝰ era: unstoppable
ᝰ characters: ivy & Eric Nam
ᝰ word count: 1.2k
ᝰ notes: i wanted to make it longer so i split it into two parts!! The next will be hopefully out soon 🤞
ᝰ taglist: lmk if you wanna be added !!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the kpop daebak show with me, I'm your host Eric nam." Eric starts and he pauses " today we are joined by a very special- no legendary guest today, the most anticipated guest in kpop daebak show history, the queen of 3rd gen kpop, Ivy jennifer james !! "
Eric introduced Ivy in a fake Australian accent and in response she laughed and looked into her camera with a soft smile and introduced herself.
" oh it's very strange to hear my government name but hello everyone, I'm Ivy, and I'm very very excited to be here, thank you for having me "
"No, thanks for coming. Before we get on with the episode, don't forget to subscribe to our podcast on Apple podcast and spotify, to watch the full video of this episode which you'd definitely want to, go check out www.youtube/divepods and leave us a five star rating on apple podcasts so that more people can know about our show."
Eric finished, and turned to Ivy "now, how are you ?"
Ivy chuckled and replied "I've been doing pretty good, just finished up promotions and now I'm on a short break and I'm trying to make my day productive"
"What have you been up to?" Eric questioned once again.
"I've mostly just trying to spend my time in the studio but I got kicked out because I've been there 24/7, so now I'm trying to spend time with people I couldn't because of my schedule"
She paused before continuing," I haven't seen Yeonjun for about 4 months now because he's been busy with promotions and tours and stuff like that. And when he was free from schedules i was not and now i'm free and he's not but i’m planning on going on tour with them like just traveling."
"Oh so you both haven't seen each other at all?? Wow that must’ve been pretty hard " Eric empathized
"It was pretty hard but we got through it but it didn't feel that long because we talked on call almost on a daily basis but we couldn't find time to meet each other " Ivy answered.
"Wow, that must've been pretty hard” Eric said, astonished at how the young couple had not met each other in person for such a long time.
"We didn't even realize time went by that fast because we both were respectively busy with our own stuff " Ivy said as she counted how many months it has been since she saw her boyfriend. Surprised at the long time she gasped which made Eric chuckle to himself.
"Now I forgot to ask yeonjun about this but i'm curious as to how you both met each other ?" Eric asked
"Oh this is the first time I'm going to reveal this hahaha " she chuckled before starting
"I knew Jun from when he was a trainee under bighit. I think it was 2015? It was a year since I'd debuted and I ran into him in the practice room bec I forgot my water bottle. And I saw him practicing and I was like ‘hmm this dude has a lot of talent’. And then I saw him in a monthly evaluation I went to watch and the teacher there introduced us and we hit it off as friends. But then after hanging out for a while I realized I had romantic feelings for him and my heart was like ‘yo this is wrong, he's like older than you, and he's still a trainee. what would he think of you when he knows you like him ? Won't he be creeped out’ "
She giggled as she recollected her memories, with Eric listening very closely and giggling with the female.
"Then one day we met and we were just talking about random stuff but then he said that he liked me and it was fine if I didn't like him back and by this time I was just standing there like a sims character when you forget to give them any command. A part of me was happy but the other part of me was like, jennifer what are you thinking?!? He's a trainee and you're an idol and his sunbaenim. What will people think?!? So I explained to him that I did like him but we had this problem and so and so"
"Then what happened ?" Eric asked with curiosity filling his voice. Ivy could see Diane on the edge of her seat. Giggling, she continued.
"Then he was like we can make this happen, we'll inform the company first and let's do what they say. I was terrified at this point because I was scared that the company would kick either him or me out, I wouldn't care less if I was kicked out because by that point, it had already been about 2 to 3 years since I debuted but yeonjun on the other hand had not even started his career. So we did go to the company to inform them of this. They called a meeting with the CEO and we told them this and surprisingly everyone there were like okay what the problem with that ? And I'm sitting here like what? I was really surprised by their reaction. they just told us to be careful with where we meet and stuff like that, nobody knew until recently about us dating. We're dating from 2015 December you could say 2016 and now it's about 7, 8 years since we started dating and that's how we met"
Ivy finished with the story while an astonished Eric could be seen which made the girl laugh.
"So you're telling me, you've been dating for almost 8 years and the public believes you both have been dating for just a while? How- like how did you both be that cautious that dispatch couldn't catch you ? " Asked Eric.
Ivy grinned, wiggling her eyebrows at Eric which made him playfully look at her.
"No like we would be like ninjas when we both went out, sometimes we'd even disguise ourselves hahaha. Then in like 2019, we went out on like a date for our anniversary and we felt like we were being followed and there was no one it was just my thought but after that we were really cautious, we didn't meet out at all for like months, but he'd come to my place or I'd go to his dorms, and after that the pandemic happened and he moved in with me and a little later now we got our own place."
"Wow I bet nobody expected you both to be dating, like even i was very surprised and shocked because you both were just like a pair of great friends" Eric laughed.
"We planned everything haha, we really wanted everyone to believe that we were very good friends and i feel like it was really believable because we were best friends before we started dating and we still are. We bicker like old couples and we fight like tom and jerry and we’re best friends before anything. And that played a main part in everything.” Ivy said.

hi! this is regarding their recent airport pics and videos, is it not weird that there are fans taking pics and videos of them at the airport? wheres the privacy lmao? like how are they allowed to follow them around everywhere? and also that person who put up the duty free video? thats taken from so close as well? im just concerned like is this supposed to be normal cause mileapo seem like very private people who wouldn't be okay with that
just wanted your opinion!
Yes. Is the short answer. It's weird, and kind of creepy, and a violation of privacy. Anything I say after this is not an excuse or justification that it's OK, but more a reflection of how we (collectively, culturally in the fandom culture sense) got to this point, and why BOC is powerless to stop it even if they had any interest in doing so.
Part of it is that airport fashion became such a prominent part of kpop culture, really being pushed by cultural and fashion icons from Big Bang. So it hasn't been that long really - maybe 15 years at the most, but now Korean idols especially dressed to be seen. if you promote a culture where stars are dressed to be seen at the airport, then it follows that fans will go to the airport for a chance to see their idols. It's that simple.
Just as BTS inherited a lot of fans from 1D when 1D broke up in 2015, KinnPorsche's release in relation to BTS's hiatus announcement also in part helped pushed KinnPorsche to even greater heights. BTS fandom still remains incredibly active, but it's the same way it was with 1D -- the fandom wouldn't get regular updates, and suddenly there was a something interesting and at least worth filling the time with until BTS came back. It's the same reason BrightWin and 2gether became such a big thing when by itself, 2gether was fairly typical of other Thai BLs of its era. Or why Animal Crossing was such a massive hit. The timing affected its success.
(For more context, you should watch this video about the science of luck. A little funnier tidbit, when he talks about running the simulation 1000 times to pick candidates -- that is in fact how machine learning (my job!) works. The tl;dw version of that is to say that talent itself isn't the only factor - success is very reliant on luck.)
So back to your question - inheriting fans from a kpop fandom also means inheriting some of kpop culture. And many post-Hallyu Wave fandoms originating from Asian countries as a collective push for soft power via media output fashion themselves after Korea's success. For example, we don't see this airport culture retroactively affecting jpop fandom (which has a long-standing history) the same way. It's more in countries which fannish cultures are still more malleable and developing their own identities.
In the same way, it's inherited a lot sasaeng culture as well from kpop - specifically, individuals or groups who have way to much access to private information they shouldn't, like flight information.
There's two other factors: few Thai actors(/idols) have been flying out of the country to work and promote as much as MileApo have. At the beginning (for KPWT stops), BOC wasn't encouraging fans to show up at the airport; they were just there. And also going to the cities because they were dedicated enough to support KinnPorsche and BOC outside of the country. And then when it became difficult to manage, BOC more formally organized these more airport sendoffs because they knew people would show up anyway. It was at least a way to help control the chaos, as a courtesy for the airport staff.
Airports are public spaces; BOC really does not have any ability to limit an individual person's presence at the airport, even if they try to discourage as a whole.
That leaves a weird space for these follow-the-actor sessions at the airport when there isn't a send-off announced by BOC, but groups get flight information and word spreads around. Or, when they're past security, which is not a public space.
From Mile and Apo's perspective, I don't think they're necessarily "ok" with this, but there is also very little they can do about it, to an extent. Following them and recording them on a plane has loudly been declared a no-no, as well as openly exposing their travels when they request fans don't because it's for business under wraps (eg. Pond and Apo flying to Europe to iron out the Piaget deal). Unfortunately, it seems like in the general space of the airport, they have to trust fans be judicious in what's an appropriate distance to stay away, and what is appropriate to do/photograph. When fans do violate that perceived barrier (e.g., mil3mile/CaiCai trying to hand Mile a note then throwing it at Apo's head, or the fans who kept stalking Apo in Shanghai despite requests to leave him alone on his trip and irritated a man at the airport into throwing a bottle at Apo's direction), other fans are at least more quick to punish these offenders to this perceived violation of space... though, again, if we're honest, photographing them esp past security, or seeing them off at the airport when they didn't announce it was for fans is... already that.
It's really hard for BOC to curb. But if they want to even address part of the root issue -- which is that there's someone internally who's leaking information to sasaeng/groups likely for financial gain -- they have to be more willing to clean house too. Apo's Shanghai flight wasn't the only thing leaked -- fans knew he was going to show up at iQIYI headquarters too, at what time and date. There's a lot going on that Pond can't control here, and I don't fault him for. Even if they catch one or two internal instigators when they find out who, the damage is already done.
So tl;dr yeah it's weird and sometimes uncomfortable, but become kind of normalized through the way that fandom has developed recently. And it's also very hard to curb, if BOC tries. So some of it is just managing it as much as they can at this point.
Thanks for the question. I think I'll also be more judicious in the airport I stuff going forward. It was always something I said I would continue to revisit, and post at my own level of comfort.

https://www.tumblr.com/taehyungfirst/752713921002143744/are-you-a-taekooker-im-really-curious-cause-you
Let’s face facts here. Jokers have become extremely toxic within the last 3 years but they can never come close to taekookers because taekookers literally started hating on Jimin since 2015 when Jikook wasn’t even a ship anyone acknowledged back then. I am Taehyung and Jimin biased so i spend enough time in both spaces to have a good idea of what is going on. You don’t have to take my word for it though. To see things for yourself, go on youtube and find taekook compilations from 2015/2016 and see how hateful taekookers were already being towards Jimin because of his friendship with Jk. They called him a bad friend to tae because of how affectionate he was with Jk and accused him of making Jk uncomfortable and this hate tripled after GCF in Tokyo and after Jikook as a ship started gaining traction in 2017. Let’s be honest. Were there any jokers back in the day to even hate on Tae? Did they have any reason to hate on him? After Jikook as a ship gained traction, jokers were busy consuming the tons of Jikook content bighit and jikook fed them with to care about Taekook or taekookers but taekookers got desperate and viscious because of the decline in taekook content so they directed that hate and anger to Jimin coming up with the most ridiculous theories and narratives about how Jikook was a cover for taekook, how Jimin and the company forced Jk to do fanservice, and how Jimin was envious of taekook’s relationship because they were the most popular so the company paired jikook and made them the official ship so Jimin could ride off Jk’s popularity. Hell, go to quora and reddit and check from 2015 and up and you will see the most nasty things taekookers said about Jimin when jikook wasn’t even a thing yet. You said it yourself, jikookers toxicity has been loud for the past three years but ask any pre 2020 army and they will tell you that Jokers were very less problematic then but taekookers have always had a reputation for being the worst shippers in kpop because everyone saw how nasty they were to Jimin and anyone they saw as a threat to taekook.
Some of you are new to the fandom. You came at a time when the the hate Tae was getting from Jokers increased drastically so that is all you know. You don’t know of a time when taekookers were literally treated like a dreaded disease because their toxicity always made headlines. These days Jikookers toxicity makes taekookers look tamer because now the focus isn’t only on taekookers as it was before. Everybody cannot be wrong. There have literally been many polls conducted on twt and tkkrs always came out as 2nd most toxic shippers with the first being Larrys. These days i wouldn’t touch jokers with a 10 inch pole because they have lost their marbles hating on Tae like he is the reason jikook isn’t real and same with taekookers but i will never lie to myself saying that Jokers are worse. That is a lie from the pit of hell and even the taekookers who have been in this fandom for years know it. Plus there is literally proof of the fact that taekookers started this whole mess. There are tons of screenshots from 2015 tkkrs on twitter wishing Jimin death and as i said, you just need to watch a few taekook compilation videos from 2015/2016 to see things for yourself. I think it is honestly so fcked up how Vmin get all these hate from these two groups of shippers all for ships that aren’t even real in the first place. I wish they would free Vmin fr.
Babe, you said it yourself: you’re a Jm bias, of course you’re gonna defend half part of it because it includes your people as well. I’m sorry to say it, but most jkkers are pjms so I’m not really surprised to get an ask like this. I’m not a 2020 army, I’ve been here for far too many years to talk without cognition. Thinking that before the whole jkk push Tae didn’t get any hate is stupid and quite frankly, naive. Tkkers were treated like that because they were the majority and every little thing was blew up, were they vile? Yeah, they’re not saints. But implying that they started everything so what’s happening now is a consequence is kinda crazy, hop off Tae’s back maybe.
That’s my problem with you guys, you think everything must be measured and everything must be a competition. You think that the hate he is getting for the past (since jkk started gaining traction? so since 2017? is it a small number for you?) years is nothing, is borderline EXPECTED because some group of people was vile in the past too. I don’t agree with this. Go to quora and reddit rn, you’ll find pages of posts shading Tae. Go on here. Go on twitter. Go on DC gallery. Go on korean forums.
I do agree with smth tho, it is fucked up that they get all that hate.

Kpop questions: 22, 26, 27?
Ooh! Fun.
22. How I got into kpop.
Well, it was in early September of 2015 and I was in 7th grade. I was into anime and wanted to find some Japanese pop music to listen to so I found this online radio called BigBRadio that specialized in East Asian pop music. Mainly C/J/K-pop. I visited it now and then but I noticed at one point that one of the moderators had embedded a YouTube music video for a kpop song in the daily feed and I was curious so I clicked it. I was immediately FASCINATED. The song was called Vanilla Shake I think and the artist is N.Caa or something? But anyway, her vibes, the whole aesthetic of the music video, it was all so fun and I had to know more. I remembered having seen a comment on random YouTube video mentioning EXO as a kpop group, so I looked them up and I was immediately hooked. They were like my anime boys with the colorful hair and fancy coordinated outfits except, even better, these guys were REAL. Most of my special interests up to that point were centered around music or cute boys and finally I was able to combine those 2 in addition to East Asian culture which I was already interested in, and found pretty much the perfect special interest.
26. Do I prefer boy groups, girl groups, coed groups, or smth in between?
Although I like girl groups, I generally prefer boy groups for a couple of reasons. The main one is that I’m more attracted to men than women. But the other one is that it seems a lot more common in girl groups to debut idols that cannot sing at all. Not that this doesn’t happen in boy groups but I feel like girl groups are especially notorious for being debuted with gorgeous members who are insufficiently skilled at singing. It’s gotten better over time, but I’ve also had a hard time getting into any new groups after I had some bad depression a couple of years ago and unfortunately a lot of my fav girl groups were disbanded but most of the boy groups did not. (Sistar, Girls’ Day, and Miss A my beloveds)
27. Kpop idol is want to hang out with
OOOOOH. Hard one. Probably Seungmin and I have good reasons for this. Even if Skz hadn’t been one of my long time favs I’d still probably pick him because we would be able to relate over singing and Day6. Day6 karaoke with Seungmin would be a literal dream come true. I know that I’d be super nervous at first but I would get into it really quickly and it would be so much fun. Like I think he’s really attractive and all but that kind of attention isn’t something I crave from him. No, it’s Day6 karaoke with him that I crave and have craved for a long time. I also just feel like if I said something a little out of left field or overly blunt like I tend to do, he’s probably the kind of person that would think it’s funny rather than being weirded out by it.
Thanks for the ask!!!!!!!

Anon personally I'm a fan of doyoung, but I've only liked a few of his covers and solos ever. He's choses songs that are whinny for me, I listen to Kpop for the pop not to listen to someone sing ABT heartbreak in an emotional way.
This is why I always say I might end up loving taeils solo or taeyongs solo alot more than doyoungs if he keeps to the formula of whinny songs for the main vocalist.
As for fandom shift, I got into 127 and dream at the same time in 2017. They had almost the same fandom on twitter then and most ppl were there for markhyuck as it is. The others seemed too young for even the teenagers (as younger girls love older men idols then their own age mates)
The issue is that in 2018 thanks to BTS becoming a popular name in America alot more American fans entered the Ncity and the empathy album being perfect helped it alot (boss still is an excellent song and it still sound hip even after 5 years)
When a new market is introduced then a new type of fan enters the fandom, the same hyper fixated fans also enter shinee fandom too. I'll give u an example of why I left being active on shawol side of twitter, most topics were abt internal issues within the fandom on English side of twitter, poor my member started. When taemin released his solo in 2015 noone was happy, the members hyping him once got the fandom to buy and follow them. The same with taemin asking shawols to follow the superm and then quieting down is a good example of how shawol side of fandom worked.
After superm a new age of fans entered the fandom, these kids have no idea what happened with jjong and have discourses about the company and him. I've seen ppl being pissed over things not related to them at all (concert hall change, it's a Korean even/ Asian fanmeet hardly 500 international fans are allowed in these things but I saw baby shawols crying like their life depended on it when all older shawols know kfans are so strong together that they always get results)
The 127 fans sending trucks is also a result of shawols getting SM to change a lot of things and agreeing to their demands. The issue is that 127 fans are doing it at taeyongs solo time deliberately, so to point of fandom kfandom was fragmented from day one of NCT as a whole.
Most antis are other members fans, jungwoo's sister being a actress was a leak from a haechan stalker as they thought woo stalkers were making fun of haechans family structure. Woos stalkers released haechans family issues online. So the shift never really happened in kfandom, it did in the international side only.
I started liking NCT when it had 15 or 16 ppl, it was easier to keep up with almost all members. Now they have 22 it gets tough keeping up and so most older fans have left the fandom. Twitter is limited to the newer fans and most older ones come to support or follow the news from fanaccouts
Also nctzens always had a bullying issue, I still remember 2 of my fav fanfic writers being bullied out of the fandom coz the popular fan accounts asked them too.
As for YouTube numbers, shinee never had MV numbers, but they're still one of the most respected idols. They're still relevant after 15 years in the industry so numbers don't count. Recognition counts and 127 has gotten that these past few years thanks to kick it becoming a popular song in Korea.
P.S. sorry this is all over the place but I'm just writing stuff without reading it back 😞
But fandoms usually grow and then crash on twitter every 2 years, as most passerby's get bored in 2 years of their new hobby
I like Do's covers, he is good at re-arranging. I regularly listen to OSTs too, but more for Do's voice as Korean OSTs without hearing the meaning of the lyrics are not my cup of tea.
A lot of Korean NCTzens were against those trucks with demands regarding 127 and accused the initiators of the action as having no right to speak up and act in such a way on behalf of all other fans. It wasn't planned by the fandom at large, just a minor group with money. The group made an account (seems like after the act) so kfans had a place where to write their comments.
