i don't know if anyone has talked about this yet but the parkciv -> tabi pipeline IS real and i'm currently in it. on episode 2 of the vault rn and it's so great we have:

CANON EXPLAINED!

This blog will have MULTIPLE canon versions of Evbo! So LET ME EXPLAIN ALL OF THEM!

REGARDLESS OF THESE CANONS! You can still ALWAYS send messages/comments/asks about non-canon things, and he will respond to you under the non-canon tag! Please include "non-canon" or what au you'd like to see, if any! ( i.e., seavbo au, trans au, etc.) Example of a non canon ask: "How do you feel about seawatt evbo? (In a seavbo canon, please!)"

⊹  Parkour Civilization

Evbo's timeline will take place POST CANON! he will have officially become the Parkour God and retain all of his canon memories from BOTH seasons!

Evbo is in his mid-20s, male, and uses he/him (however, due to his upbringing doesn't mind other pronouns and is open to exploring pronouns and gender/other identities!) Evbo is a meritocrat (-and is open to political discussion!) and is in an unlabeled relationship with EMF and Snitch/APF/Snitch-apf

Evbo is still hateful towards Seawatt and ClownPierce and see them as his lifelong enemies! He has a student/teacher and almost familial relationship with The Old Man, though he is critical/more untrustworthy of him due to his past actions!

⊹  PvP Civilization

Evbo's timeline is always placed after the MOST RECENT PvP Civilization uploads from the time of the post! He retains all updated memories from the time of posting!

Evbo is a young adult ( around early 20s ) he doesnt use labels, but his attraction falls most under pansexual with a preference for women/feminine aligned individuals! Evbo uses he/him pronouns and identifies as male. However, his gender and pronomial identity are also unlabled!

Evbo has a crush on Tabi and feels some sort of attraction to his guard friend!

⊹  Tumblr Civilization

A meta alternate universe where Evbo is actually ON TUMBLR! you can be as meta as you want and ask him about tumblr posts/accounts/his tumblr account!

Evbo remembers all the events from Parkour AND PvP civilization! This is an AU where he simply jumps to different civilizations ( thus, tumblr is his 3rd civilization! )

Evbo goes by he/him, is unlabled/nonlabled and is not CURRENTLY in a relationship! ( though he has in the past... )

⊹  The Vault

Evbos timeline takes place POST CANON! He retains all memories from all parts of the vault series!

Evbo is in his 20s, queer, uses he/him ( sometimes they/them ) and used to date seawatt - they broke up officially after seawatt was dethroned! He is best friends with Tabi and helps to be a figurehead od the new world!

an easter egg/foreshadowing i just noticed in parkciv [SPOILERS AHEAD]

so at the end of season 1 when evbo is in that one room with seawatt (the one where he hides behind the plant) you can see that the machine that they’re using to implant memories into people USES CRYSTALS. in season 2 it’s established that crystals can hold messages. the memory implant machine in season 1 uses crystals that can hold messages (memories). talk about crazy foreshadowing because crystals aren’t even introduced until season 2 despite clearly being used in season 1, we just didn’t know to look for them. it also foreshadows the lost civilization as a whole because it’s definitely not a coincidence that seawatt (who’s later revealed to be the only survivor from the lost civilization) uses a machine that operates on crystals that are only found in the lost civilization. also because of how seawatt uses crystals in season 2 we know that he clearly fully understands how they work. there’s so much more foreshadowing in season 1 that i could talk about (SEAWATT HAVING CHAIN BOOTS IN HIS VAULT? IN SEASON 1?) but i won’t. god i love this series so much.

i was rewatching season 1 of parkour civ, and i realized this scene has a lot more depth to it then i once thought seawatt is his usual sassy self — he knows what was in his vault, he doesn't care about the potion effect, he isn't threatened by evbo

it's not until evbo says "so in a couple of jumps, you'll lose everything" does seawatt suddenly crack, begging for his life — "i like my life here!"

he's already lost everything once, but that's not what he's scared of. he wouldn't be trying to destroy parkour civilization if he thought he could bring the fighter layer back. seawatt is afraid to die. every deal, betrayal, and part of his plan has been perfectly executed to reach his goal. but if he died, especially here? what would it all be for? who would punish the old man? how would he get revenge for his home, his parents? he would be forgotten just like the parkour fighters... it makes his death that much more tragic. video transcription under the cut!

Seawatt: You're crazy if you think I'm telling you that.

Evbo: Yep, I thought you might say that. Let's see... three block? Oh, that's plenty. Alright, one more chance to tell me — unless you want to defend another one of my attacks.

Seawatt, unconvinced: I... think I can handle a three block.

Evbo: Alright man, if you think you can make this jump with Slowness, be my guest. I'm just gonna let you know now that it's not possible, so in a couple jumps, you'll lose everything.

Seawatt, now panicked: Okay, wait, don't— I'll tell you! Please, I like my life here!

parkour civilization but i slowly turn everyone into some sort of creature

apparently he's supposed to be a turtle, but who better to guard treasures than a dragon? he's a dragon now and his name is billiam (granted, he did get bribed into opening the vault but who said that dragons can't get a little greedy sometimes huh)

on that note, did you know that 'bill' is short for 'william'?

when i first saw him i remember thinking that he was some sort of slime because the only thing on the front of his face are his nostrils and i mistook those for eyes, so he's got a big beak

there are some turtle elements to him, like big webbed hands and his aforementioned beak. his tail was inspired by a snapping turtle's. proportionally, it's shorter than a snapping turtle's because a short chunky tail is cute

distinguished gentleman who's a little bit whimsical

the rings on his fingers are there for visual interest and i think a fancy guy like billiam would want to accessorise a little, as a treat

name is currency related because banker, initially i thought about ingot and coin, but billiam won out in the end because it's silly

changed his suit from black to green because black suits bore me and i'm starting to think that i might have some kinda beef with them

actually being the fancy man he is, maybe he could have multiple of this exact same suit in different colours, ties too

i went into this design knowing that i'd absolutely have his eyes covered by something, but i had nothing else to really take inspiration from visually, so i thought about water buckets

what do water buckets in minecraft make? waterfalls

what do waterfalls do? they cascade

you know what else can be described as cascading? really long hair

boom, there's an idea

his hair ended up becoming silky smooth because i wanted to have a little nod towards my through process by adding a water-like shine to it

he ends up becoming kind of intimidating during his battle with evbo, so now he gets to reflect that outwardly

personality wise he's chill

he only wears pants because the rest of him is covered in dense fur and he doesn't really need it

bys refuses to get a haircut so it ends up covering his face all the time unless you look at him mid parkour

other name ideas i tossed about were 'cascade' (from above reasons) and 'nor' (from honor, specifically because he was honest about what he was doing right at the end)

cascade wasn't chosen since it's not 3 letters, nor was kinda... eh

bys from abyss works out since the abyss is dark and you'd usually hear the word in context of the ocean, which is water, he's the water bucket guy

hc that prk-seawatt sleeps with his crown; causing him to wake up in the middle of the night because it pokes him

hc that prk-seawatt has a chest full of gold

hc that prk-evbo has an eating disorder due to the limited amount of food the noobs were offered (i dont really know that much about ed's, im sorry 😓)
