i just watched the disney adaption of the mysterious benedict society and even though it is kinda fun to watch i feel like the series just took away anything from the books that could be even slightly scary for kids (the waiting room, constance getting electrocuted, etc.) which made me come up with a very stupid headcanon for another book adaptation but DARK.

here's the cast list and some more stuff:

first of all, everything is filmed in blue lighting giving this uncertain aura.

mr benedict/mr curtain is played by stellan skarsgård and uses his dune voice for mr curtain whilst as mr benedict he sounds more like luthen in the shop

the kids could actually stay the same actors because the level of seriousness needed for this won't be reached by the average child actor (just a fact); still, kate should get blonde hair like in the books

rhonda is played by letitia wright (she's just awesome) and ming-na wen in her AoS aesthetic plays number two

david harbour with blonde hair plays milligan (we all know that would be fun) and we'd get actual footage of what happened to him when he tells his story to the kids. his two torturers are played by chris evans and ryan reynolds (obviously, for these twenty seconds they get payed more than the four children together)

i don't care who plays jackson and jillson, jillson just needs to be buff and have blonde hair while jackson has a disgusting smile

martina is played by adria arjona and keeps getting scenes of crying in the corner at night and then lets her anger out on the society at daytime

for the second book, captain noland, played by pierce brosnan does exactly what happens in the book because that fits the whole mentality, while joe shooter (ryan gosling) has one big change; he is killed by mr curtain when they ride away at the end. this makes kate so angry that she would've thrown the calculator if joe hadn't told her to stop in his last breath

i haven't come any further yet but david tennant is crawlings.

the happy main theme of the children that only rarely occurs is composed by john williams, the rest is adapted by either henry jackman or lorne balfe because of the booming but threatening way of their soundtracks.

Jeff isn’t a regular joe though… he’s the main villiain in Netflix’s number 1 show of last year, one piece. He’s also the main character on Netflix show brand new cherry flavor and is in the MCU as Deke Shaw in AOS. Hes now an award winning director for his broadway show Danny in the deep blue.

I'm sure he's somewhat famous but I thinkn most people on social media wouldn't know who he is or his projects 😭

i know what you mean, i think some people believe i was being mean when i said i didn’t know jeff had fans, but i genuinely didn’t ever take time to look into him or what he was doing especially recently because it seemed like he and evan weren’t friends anymore 😭 so i was just oblivious. and i don’t really watch tv or movies but once in a blue moon so i have no reason to be aware.

Trip dying was so much worse than I expected. He was so distraught thinking he got there too late. Like he died thinking he’d failed to protect his friend/partner and I’m so upset over the death of this sunshine prince and did i HAVE to see his mom crying over him? :(

I know enough to know that Daisy’s arc is basically the Break the Cutie trope over and over, but FUCK it also deeply upsets me to see her all scared about her new powers and hearing Jemma/Mack/etc. talking about how horrific/dangerous those with alien DNA are

Fitz you precious angel. He knows what it’s like to be changed and have everyone fear you and he went into protection mode immediately no questions asked 

Love Mack being a good friend to Fitz, having not known him before just accepting him as he is now. UGH he’s always been a good egg

I’ve read ahead enough (I’m a spoiler hoe) to know Bobbi and Mack are trying to return things to “real S.H.I.E.L.D.” and I can’t wait until this storyline is over. HATE IT. Marvel has me so damn tired of “friends in splintered factions” plots Jesus

Secret Cameo of WandaVision

Paul Bettany basically said in an interview that there would be “fireworks” between him and the cameo, it would be a game changer, and it is someone he has always wanted to work with, implying he never has before. Elizabeth Olsen said it would rival Luke Skywalker in Mandalorian, so it has to be fan service-y.

Evan Peters as Pietro/Peter Maximoff/Quicksilver: it was confirmed the cameo has not shown up yet. So not him.

Ian McKellan as Erik Lensherr/Magneto: no; has worked with Paul before.

Michael Fassbender as Erik Lensherr/Magneto: has not worked with Paul, would be a game changer, and could easily be antagonistic towards Vision. but might not be fanservicey enough. so maybe not.

Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier: unless I am wrong about working with Paul, checks all boxes. except I don’t see how he could be antagonistic towards Vision

James McAvoy as Charles Xavier: look to Patrick Stewart. Also, might not be as fan servicey as Patrick.

Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange: idk how the 2 could get in a fight, but it would prob be bec Vision would defend Wanda. Game changer possibly because this could also be start of multiverse. Has never had a scene with Paul, I don’t think. And even if he has, they never have in the MCU, which could be big to Paul. Wanda is confirmed for Doctor Strange 2. idk if it rivals Luke though.

Gabriel Luna as Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider: game changing, confirms Mephisto exists and reaffirms the existence of Agents of SHIELD. Will make more fans watch it once it streams on D+. also sets up more mystical/horror stuff (doctor strange 2 and blade could benefit from that). I don’t think he’s worked with Paul before. Dude fought literally everyone he met in AoS, i would not be surprised if he fought Vision, even if only a little bit. He could also attempt to bring Vision back to the realm of the dead, where he belongs. He could be there to stop Agatha and Mephisto since that’s pretty characteristic of the Ghost Riders. Also the Darkhold may have been in Ep 7 and last we saw Robbie, he was hiding the Darkhold so that would be a good reason to put him in. But very few people watching WandaVision have seen AoS so this cant rival Luke.

Nicholas Cage as Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider: doesn’t tie in AoS, but does much of what Gabriel Luna would. And ties in multiverse. But idk if it’s fan servicy enough. And he worked with Paul before.

Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson: I’M NOT CAUGHT UP ONLY UP TO SEASON FOUR DO NOT TELL ME IF HE DIES OR ANYTHING. like i said, love to see AoS tied in. would break the internet. everyone loves coulson. AoS fans would be screaming, and everyone who thought he’s been dead since avengers would be screaming. and convinces more people to watch aos. I would pay to see Coulson deck Hayward. but yeah, fan service ablaze. could potentially be game changing since it reintroduces SHIELD and himself and brings Inhumans into more light, something lacking in most of the MCU. Clark and Paul were in IM1 and Avengers together, but never together (Paul was only Jarvis, and Jarvis never spoke while Coulson was in the room w/ Tony and Pepper). I would kill for Coulson to be the cameo.

John Krasinski as Reed Richards/Mr Fantastic: would be game changing, introducing Fantastic 4. I don’t believe they’ve worked together before. Would possibly break internet btw Fantastic 4 and Krasinski being awesome. But...I really don’t think they should introduce him in WandaVision. I think it should be later.

Tom Hiddleston as Loki: Ep 7′s commercial confirmed the use of the word Nexus in the MCU. In the comics, Nexus Beings had some control over the multiverse. Wanda was one of them. They were watched over by the TVA. And wouldn’t you know, Loki appears to be working with the TVA in his series. Fan service galore because he’s frickin Loki. While they have been in Avengers 1 and 3 together, they didn’t share scenes, so they haven’t worked together. Would be a game changer, enforcing the Nexus stuff.

RN i want either Coulson or Loki, but who knows? I really don’t know what will happen

I’ve had this stuck in my head for awhile, so let me lay out the bones of a story for y’all. Watch me obliterate canon for some fandoms.

The apocalypse, where Lucifer led some angels and rebelled against god and were subsequently banished from heaven. Some say that it was due to them not agreeing that humans should be a part of Gods love. Some say they didn’t agree with Gods plan. But the truth is that it was never about the humans. It was about a brother.

The Archangels were all brothers. The first born, Gabriel, the might of god, who was his first and spread his word making the others. Michael, who was like god, who carried out His wishes without hesitation . Raphael, who healed like god, a kind soul who treated anyone and everyone without prejudice. Lucifer, the light of god, who led the younger angels in worship and led them. Uriel, the judgement of god, who sought justice for all and burned with fire. Amenadiel, the warrior of god, who upheld the law of all that was foretold and wouldn’t lose a battle.

With the creation of Angels, and their sub-species, the archangels had a hand in governing over the younger brood. And then God created humans. The Angels viewed the humans as beneath them, and wondered why God would create a lesser being. Some questioned outright, others to themselves. Lucifer asked the most questions, raised the most concerns. But none that were enough to be exiled. Until a tragedy struck.

The first born, Gabriel, was murdered. His soul disappeared and his grace dispersed. It was such a shock that it caused unnatural disasters on earth, and all the beings felt it. Everyone was in shock. How could such a powerful angel suddenly die? The Archangels pleaded with God to ask what happened, but God remained silent. And so, the unrest continued until the 2 sides broke apart and started the War.

The apocalypse lasted years, until finally Michael struck down Lucifer and the other angels, causing them to fall to Earth, and then keep falling. They fell past the dirt and the stone into Hell, and then God spoke to Lucifer.

“This is your realm now. The deepest pit of the darkest corner contains an evil that even I cannot contain. Protect it and you shall have free will.”

And so Lucifer did. He raged against it but when he found out who was behind the prison, he reluctantly guarded it. The fallen angels became demons, and humanity grew.

With the fall of Lucifer, the death of Gabriel and the disappearance of Raphael, the upper echelons of Heaven scrambled to put it back in order. Angels were promoted to higher places, and prophecies were spoken as everyone knew that another war would happen. And then the events of Good Omen happen.

After Adam says no to the apocalypse, Heaven and Hell are making new plans, but then Lucifer leaves Hell, and the good TV show we know as Lucifer starts. And because it’s now been brought to my attention that Lucifer is also part of DC, Arrow, Flash, and Supergirl are here too. Superman finds a little girl and he takes her to Flash Bc she’s got some weird power to rewind stuff.

So one day, a battle starts out, and an evil creature named Lilith starts destroying the world. The heroes are trying to fight her but she’s too strong. Then Lucifer comes to fight, and the archangels too. They don’t know why they fee the need to fight, but they do. Crowley and Aziraphael are there too, and the battle rages on and everyone takes refuge in a crumpled church. They’re all tired and injured, some dying, and it’s clear they’ve lost. And then they hear someone ask them if the battle must go on.

Everyone looks up at the altar and see a long blonde haired man looking at them warmly. The flash crew recognize him and Cisco is like, “yo gabe! Aziraphael asks if he’s alright and why that matters, but Gabe just answers, “it would be you to recognize me like this, Raphael.” The other archangels lose their shit, Bc they realize that Crowley is the missing Raphael and this man is their supposed-to-be-dead brother. They explain that the apocalypse happened Bc of Gabriel dying, and are understandably upset. Gabe just smiles and starts singing “You will be found” from Dear Evan Hansen. (I found that the lyrics are pretty spot on for what happens in this plot)

While he’s singing, their wounds start healing and they feel rejuvenated. And suddenly the little girl screams out “Papa”, and runs to Gabe. Her little horn activates and her rewind power envelopes the whole planet as it rewound to before Lilith started killin people. By the time they’re done, Lilith has noticed Gabe and is boiling in rage.

Because before the Archangels, God created something else. He created Leviathans, a grotesque creature that devours all good. Recognizing his mistake, he create the first archangel, Gabriel to fight them. The both of them successfully lock them up in the prison that the Goddess is locked up in, separated but contained. Well, after God created Humans, a Leviathan broke out due to a human being curious, and immediately went to Heaven to feast of the angel grace up there. Gabriel was able to stop them from entering the gates, but was seriously wounded by the beast. God entered the fray, and was able to immobilize Lilith, the leviathan, but was distracted by Gabriel quickly dying AO she escaped to another dimension. God immediately used an enormous amount of energy to take Gabriel’s soul and fling it to a dimension where he could be born again and find his grace when he’s ready. But after that, he was too weak to speak to the other angels without hurting them. So remained silent until he was able to gather strength to speak to Lucifer about the prison.

And Gabriel was reborn in the MHA world as Hizashi Yamada. He became a hero, a teacher, a radio host, a husband and a parent, before Lilith found him and yanked him and his daughter, Eri, into the dimension she was in. Gabe was able to get back his grace and flung Eri to somewhere she would be safe before ripping his grace out of him and flinging it back to his world and dropping from the dimension stream. He found himself in the Flash world, with no memory. His grace split apart, finding itself into his husband, Aizawa Shouta, and his children, shinsou Hitoshi and Eri. And then enough found it’s way back to him so he could remember and perform the miracle he did at the church. And when Eri found him again, he gained a large portion of his grace, allowing him to fight Lilith and cram her back in the prison, with the help of Lucifer.

And that’s the end of this book. The second part will be up tomorrow.

Okay, I was watching FRIENDS last night with my friends and I realized something. It’s not a pet peeve, it just makes me giggle. I find it so funny when shows will have the one character who is meant to be like the “dork” or who is meant to be the one that doesn’t get asked out or gets rejected, etc., but that one character is actually the cutest and most likable character on the show. Because for real tho, who wouldn’t want to marry Chandler Bing?? I would marry Chandler Bing in a heartbeat! Because oh my god! Could he be any cuter? (Yes I had to do that, leave me alone). But this also applies to like Peter Parker and Ben Wyatt and Nick Miller and those kinds of characters who get teased, but are like actually not only really attractive but are also super sweet and smart. Because what makes me giggle isn’t that the character is handsome and they try and sell the “no one will date them,” it’s that the character is super freaking dateable and they try and sell the “no one will date them.” Like, okay. Sure, Jan.

I think it´s time to move on, AO craves for attention all the time. She needs everybody talks about her and views on her ig. Nothing is new . We need to focus on decent people like Tom Hiddleston and Chris Evans, or Rosamund Pike (she is beautiful!). I propose to start watching tv shows or movies.

I've said it before and I'll say it again — viewing her stories and watching her every move is just giving her the attention she wants. Even if your intentions are the opposite of being a fan of hers, it's still attention.

What are some TV shows or movies you guys have been watching?

I'm currently binging "The Vampire Diaries" (I'm on the final episode of season three if anyone is a fan). I've also binged the new season of "Selling Sunset." I rented "Fist Fight" and "Crazy Rich Asians" from the library this past week, so I'll probably watch those soon.

SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

Firstly, what an unsatisfying payoff for Fietro. You can’t tell me that he’s some random guy who just happened to get stuck with Agatha. If he is...how was it possible that Agatha enchanted him with super speed? Super speed which had the exact same effect as the MCU’s Quicksilver. I don’t think this is the last we’ll see of him.

And it just doesn’t add up that Evan Peters would be cast as “Ralph Bohner” who does not exist in the comics. I think (don’t quote me) that Kevin Feige doesn’t like doing things for fan service and casting Evan Peters just as a cheeky nod to Fox’s Quicksilver feels strange. Idk, man, maybe I’m hoping too hard.

WANDA? In her Scarlet Witch getup? If I didn’t know I was bisexual before, I certainly know now.

So the end of the Hex broke my heart and I cried for ten minutes. But with the post-credit scene, we now know that Wanda’s going to try to bring her boys back.

Speaking of...the White Vision, who we now know to be OG Vision. He suddenly left, which I’m assuming is to figure out what happened the last five years. Obviously, we’ll see him again. Maybe see OG Vision and Wanda fall in love again? Jk, unless...?

Well, that is if the Darkhold doesn’t corrupt Wanda?!

The DARKHOLD?! Agents of Shield fans will know that AOS dealt with the Darkhold and entrusted its care to Robbie Reyes AKA Ghost Rider. Robbie went across dimensions to hide it. Considering AOS is technically canon, will they ever explain this? More importantly, will they potentially reintroduce Robbie Reyes into the MCU? Which, I’m begging you Mr. Feige, sir, bring Gabriel Luna back as Robbie Reyes, he is the only reason I watched S4 of Agents of Shield.

Also, is Agents of Shield even canonical anymore? Because they’re never referenced in any way in the MCU?

We tragically did NOT see enough of the Golden Trio but look at Jimmy being all in charge and shit. And Monica with that skrull in that post credits scene?

I’m guessing “he” is either in reference to Nick Fury or Talos, the primary skrull character in Captain Marvel. I’m guessing this cliffhanger is going to directly lead into Captain Marvel 2 for Monica.

And Darcy? I’m so thrilled my girl CRASHED into Hayward with no fucks given. Like she’s not trained in any way and has no superpowers, she’s just an astrophysicist that truly doesn’t give a fuck and I respect it.
