I'm not going to say too much but I will say that since you're going to look into Henry anyway...try to keep him safe if you can. To be vaguely ominous 10.6 anomaly is less a ballistic missile and more of a...walking star...or nuclear plant...not the best at analogies. :| In other news you're been talking out loud to disembodied voices for while now. How sound proof would you say this room is?

…In a way. It has only been pulled off that one time, and none of us are willing to put anyone through that horrid experience again…

Not to mention, the man who put him through that is… no longer with us, to put it lightly. We couldn’t replicate the experiment even if we wanted to.

ALRIGHT, PEOPLE, here’s the plan. As of today, (Dec. 15th) I am done my first semester for the year, and I am now on break for the holidays for 3 weeks. I want to get as much done for the comic as I can, which means:

We’re getting to Act 4!! Non-negotiable, it has been ready to go since the end of October, I’ve just been waiting until I have the time to give it my full attention, and that time is now.

I want to try daily posts! We’ll see how long I actually end up doing that, but I’d like to at least try it during this 3 week period, so I can get as far as I can before college takes up all my time again. As soon as January 7th hits, all bets are off, I’m back in school and I will be back to just uploading whenever I can.

The inbox is closed for a little bit. I’m not taking any more asks for Strings, I’m getting through the last few I have backlogged, and then it’s straight into Act 4. The inbox will be opened back up as soon as Act 4 starts.

So, that’s the plan going forward! Thank you for your patience, everyone. I’ve been very busy recently because of my education, but EtC is still my top priority when it comes to personal projects, and it means the world to me that so many of you have stuck with me these past 4 years :)

Since we just finished up with Red Strings — figured I’d give some seasons cheer!

Thank you to everyone who has been following and supporting @ending-the-cycle-ask , @melonsalts , and I thought out the years. If not for you guys, this stuff would never be possible! We have enjoyed crafting this take on THSC and the wish to continue this to the end! So stay tuned for more once the holidays are up!

I would love to hear the megatheorem

It's not ready for full publication and won't be for a while tbh, but like, maybe before the end of summer? If I'm being optimistic? It will definitely go up here when it's finished, although probably in parts because it's an absolute beast, currently weighing in at over 25 pages and nearly 13k words.

Also I'm just now noticing that I have "Empty's as Good as Clean" from the draft version of the poem instead of the published version as a section title, whoops. Pretend that's on purpose. Maybe it's a nod to the like, three hours where we thought @torbooks was speaking to us in code. That sounds like both a regular thing to happen as well as to reference, right?

Some segments have stuff I've pulled in from things I've posted here before but off the top of my head I don't think any of the sections are fully anything I've posted here. That is to say, as the draft currently stands, every section has new analyses in addition to anything pulled in from previous posts, though I'd say most of the sections are things I've haven't posted. I believe the sections that have the most pulled from "old" content are Lyctorhood Lite, Resurrection vs Waking Up, and A Cavalier by Any Other Name, which would all be under my "tlt meta" tag - I'll tag this one for ease of navigation if you want to poke around.

But don't worry, when it's ready, I will make sure everyone is subjected to my theories.

The other night I met this guy in a bar. While drinking he silently looked at me, almost long enough for me to snap at him and punch his face.

But then he suddenly said: "You've got BPS, right? Borderline?"

At first I thought he was kidding, so I snorted. Showed him my - tattooed - wrists.

"I'm not a fucking wristcutter, man."

Though I've had cigarette burn marks on them. And they didn't have been there accidentially. Plus I like knifeplay, and not only being at the giving end when it comes to that.

Anyway, he then started to explain what symptoms this disorder actually comes along with.

It hit home. So fucking much.

At some point I asked him how he got an idea I might have BPS.

"I've seen the pain in your eyes", he said. Quite a little over-dramatic I guess.

However, I ended up with two empty bottles of vodka and a new cigarette burn mark on my arm.
