Hello! First of all I have to say that your writing is the best I have read so far and you have a way with words that has me going crazy at 3 am 🤣🤣 I wanted to suggest a short story where Levi and the reader have feelings for each other and are on a mission together. Then it starts to rain and it gets really cold at night so they’re forced to seek shelter and have to spend the night together in an abandoned old house until the rain stops, and they basically get to know each other better and eventually start flirting ya know ya know? 😗Thank you so much and please feel free to add any more ideas you may have 😁
ahhh the classic, stuck with a stranger trope. I dig it :)
Summary: You spend a rainy night with your bitter captain
Word Count: 1.8K
__
The rain felt like needles as you rode into the wind, your cloak felt heavy and waterlogged as you struggled to see through the shower. You had lost your squad, leaving you alone in the middle of titan country. Your gear felt light, meaning that your blades were nearly gone and gas as well. In other words, you were royally fucked.
Your horse was huffing, sides rising and falling deeply as she tried to hold the pace you had set. Her head bobbed and you threaded your fingers through her mane and stood on the saddle to ease the weight on her back, and allow her to resume her natural gait.
Just as you emerged from the thin thicket of trees you had been riding in, you spotted a small cabin, and a black horse tied up out front. You recognized Captain Levi’s stallion and felt relief flood through you. You steered your mare towards the squat building and swung off once she came to a halt. Tying her up next to Levi’s stallion before jogging up the stairs. You lifted your hand and pounded on the door, a flash of lightning illuminated your form when Levi pulled the door open. His hair was dripping wet as was his clothes.
“Cadet (L/n), surprised you made it this far.” He scoffed before turning and stalking back into the cabin.
“Captain....the formation is broken.” You stated the obvious, unsure of how to respond to his jab.
“No shit, this damn rain fucks with the signals. Seen it before.” You almost weren’t sure if he even said the last part since he muttered it so quietly.
“So what do we do?” You asked, clutching your cloak anxiously.
“We wait it out idiot.” Levi grunted as he began rummaging around the small cabin’s kitchen drawers.
“What...about the formation?”
“The formation doesn’t exist anymore, what matters now is getting back to the wall.”
You remained silent, stunned by the gravity of the situation you’d found yourself in.
“Shitty eyebrows needs to stop putting the fucking formation on a pedestal, you brats need to learn how to act at your own discretion.” Levi continued as he pawed through a drawer, he pulled his hand out holding two stones. Flint, to be precise, he had already taken some of the firewood that had been sitting in the cabin and chucked it into the fireplace. You wondered how long it had sat there in the lonely cabin, who had gathered it? A child maybe? When you were younger, you had lived on a farm with your family, raising horses for the military. One of your many jobs had been to get firewood. You wondered what had happened to the people who lived here before, wondered if they could ever return.
“Oi, take off those boots. Just because nobody’s lived here in three years doesn’t mean you get to track mud inside.” He scolded and you quickly stripped yourself of your mud caked boots.
“Yes sir.” You grumbled as you numbly wandered into the kitchen, pausing when you found a small corn husk doll, very similar to the ones you once made. You picked it up, cradling its head as you held it up in the dim light. The sound of stones clicking and then the crackle of a small fire brought you back. You turned to see Levi hanging his cloak and jacket by the flames.
“Take off your cloak and jacket.” He ordered and you placed the doll down to fulfill his command. You shivered in just your shirt, which was soaked, the olive colored fabric nearly see through due to the wetness. Levi averted his eyes as he snatched your jacket and cloak from you. You dropped down to sit on the floor near the fire, staring into the flames as you allowed your mind to wander. Levi sat down as well, crossing his legs and closing his eyes as he tried to even out his breathing. The only sound was the crackling fire and the patter of rain on the old roof. You had nearly forgotten how it sounded, having lived in the castle for years now, the cozy cabin brought you back to your childhood. And before you could think better of it, you asked:
“Where are you from captain?”
“None of your concern.” He grunted, eyes still closed and face lacking any signs of emotion.
“Well, where I’m from, when it rained like this...we’d go outside and-”
“I didn’t fucking ask. Now shut up and go to sleep or something.”
“There’s no need to be so bitter Captain.” You mumbled, crossing your arms over your chest and angling your shoulders away from him, the sting of his words. You sighed heavily and fell flat on your back, staring up at the rafters, a drop of water seeped through and landed right on your nose and you let out a huff of disgust.
“....Look” Levi’s voice was heavy and less annoyed than previously.
“If talking...makes you feel better about all of this....then I guess I don’t mind listening.” He looked at you out of the corner of his eye, bangs obscuring the top half of his face as he studied you, splayed out on the floor.
“....Thanks.”
“As I was saying, when I was younger, I used to be scared of thunder storms. But my grandma, she would make this cake. She called it thunder cake.” You closed your eyes and a dreamy smile curled onto your lips. Levi felt a pang of jealousy, being nearly 28, one would think that he could get over his childhood. But he just couldn’t seem to, he wished he grew up in the sunshine, known his family, gotten to be scared of thunder instead of men in the underground.
“-it wasn’t really anything special, just a lemon cake. But making it during the storm...she said it was magic, and you know.....I believed her.” Your voice cracked and Levi frowned, he remembered that naivety, how his mother would tell him about fairies or goblins. He had believed those stories for a time as well. But when she had died, he no longer saw beauty in the world. How could he?
“She was so smart Captain. She knew everything, how to treat a tooth ache, how to make the best bread, break a horse. I wish I could be half as wise as her.” You continued, Levi turned to look at you, your usually bright eyes seemed distant and foggy, mouth screwed into a frown, your bottom lip trembling.
“When she died, I felt so alone. I couldn’t compare, how could I? She was so strong and, I was just a shitty kid.” You scoffed bitterly, Levi understood your pain deeply, loosing people was something he was all too familiar with. He blindly reached out and let his hand awkwardly fall over your own. You froze, head turning to look at him.
“How about you? What did your...parent do to help you through the scary parts?” You asked, eyes wide and hopeful. Levi’s jaw locked as he tried to wrack his brain for something to say, you had just been so vulnerable with him. How could he not repay the favor? Especially if the two of you would die in this shitty cabin.
“She would....give me a bath, or we’d clean the house.” He said with a curt nod, remembering his mother pouring soapy water over him after he had scrapped his knee, or cried so hard that his eyes were nearly swollen shut. Yes, that was the truth, they would take a bath and then she’d tell him those shitty stories.
“That sounds nice.” You said wistfully as you turned your hand to lace your fingers with his. You sensed his tension and decided to carry on telling your own story.
“I hated cleaning, my grandma used it as punishment for me. Like when I was 10 I threw eggs at the neighbor boy after he lifted my skirt up.” You chuckled lowly at the memory.
“Sounds like he deserved it.” Levi said with the smallest of smiles. You beamed up at him and nodded.
“Yeah, he sure did. My grandma made me clean the coop for two weeks after that, and the stables.” You giggled, squeezing his hand as you laughed. He felt another wave of jealousy, wishing he had memories like yours.
“And you? Did you ever get in trouble?” You asked, rolling onto your side, pulling your hand free from his, he immediately missed the contact, not that he would admit it though.
“That’s all I did when I was younger.” Levi scoffed, looking down at you with a gleam of amusement in his gaze.
“What kind of trouble?” You pressed, resting your chin on your palm as you stared up at him.
“I bet it was with girls, you seem to be popular with the cadets.” You teased and Levi’s nose wrinkled in disgust.
“No, more like I was stealing and selling government property illegally.” He scoffed, reaching his hand down to ruffle your damp hair, you let out a bark of laughter as he grabbed the roots of your hair and shook your head playfully.
“Yeah right, you’re the strictest of all the squad leaders, as if I would believe-”
“I grew up in the underground, didn’t matter down there, just did what I had to do to put food on the table.” He shrugged, trying to keep the atmosphere light, yet stay honest with you.
“No way....that’s impressive captain-”
“Levi, call me Levi.” He said, withdrawing his hand and leaning back against the couch that was behind the two of you.
“Okay then...Levi, I call bullshit.” You said, propping yourself up on your elbow and beaming up at him. Levi glared down at you, not sure if he liked the defiance or loathed it. Thunder rumbled and lightning flashed, but your eyes never strayed from his and he let out a scoff.
“It’s true, I was born a bastard and escaped through the military.” You raised your brows at this, you hadn’t expected him to be honest.
“I...admire you for that, takes a strong person to overcome things like that.” You said a tad sheepishly as you averted your gaze, feeling like you had overstepped some boundaries.
“We all face our own challenges..” Levi muttered, eyes still locked on you.
“That is true.” You agreed, with a small smile thrown his way. The rain still pounded against the windows and your gaze strayed to them, watching the water stream off of the roof.
“This will all be a bad memory in the morning.” Levi said, following your gaze, he recalled how you said you’d been afraid of thunder when you were younger. He wondered if you still harbored that fear.
“I don’t think it will, I hope I can look back on it fondly.” You said, turning and smiling softly up at him, and Levi’s stomach began doing flips, his cheeks flushing at the sentiment behind your words.
“Yeah....whatever, just go to sleep brat.” He grunted, reaching down and ruffling your hair once more, you giggled and laid down, soothed to sleep by the feeling of his hand in your hair and the sound of rain on window panes.

Warnings: Suggestive, snarky? Mentions of cheating
——————————————————————————————————-
He paused and blinked a few times.
“I’m sorry, I don’t think I heard you right. What did you just say?”
You laughed.
“You heard me right. I’m attending my ex’s wedding. And he’s marrying my friend who he cheated on me with.”
He tilted his head to the side.
“I don’t understand.”
You laughed again, a little more bitterly.
“Yeah, neither do I. I’m only going because of my best friends.”
“What do you mean?”
“This is the first time in ages we’ll get to meet in person.” Your eyes softened. “And I really miss them.”
The guy had a light smile on his face.
“I get it now.”
“It’s just that… I know I will be made fun of for not having a plus one.”
You shook your head at his raised brows.
“Yeah, a lot of my old classmates can be mean.”
He inched a little closer.
“Could you tell me what happened? Only if you’re okay with it, of course.”
You shrugged.
“Yeah sure, I don’t mind talking about it.”
You took a sip of water and began.
“So, all of this happened two years ago. We had been dating for three years. And I knew that something was off. It was understandable. He was very busy with his job and I was busy with mine. We weren’t getting time to spend with each other. And every time I tried, it seemed like he would try his best to get out of it.”
You smiled sadly.
“I know. I should have seen the signs. But he was my longest relationship. And we had been friends for years before dating. I trusted him. When he told me that he’d have to spend two months abroad for work, he wasn’t lying and I didn’t doubt him. At that point, things were just really strained and he was very stressed. So, to make things a little easier for him, I introduced him to my friend who lived in the city he’d be working in.”
You paused, grip on your dress tightening slightly. You didn’t notice that he noticed.
“And from there, it’s pretty obvious what happened. Soon, he started ditching my calls saying he was busy. He just never told me he was busy with her. And then, one long weekend, when I flew over to surprise him, I found her in his bed.”
He surprised you when he reached over to hold your hand, gently rubbing his thumb across your knuckles. You stared at him for a bit, trying to gauge whether he was trying to make a move on you or whether he was just being nice. Looking at his eyes, your heart melted a little. He was definitely just being nice.
“Yeah. I really should have seen it coming. But I didn’t. I saw them together and walked straight back out and took a flight back home. I packed up all my stuff and left home for Seoul.”
“You just packed up and left?”
“Yup. Needed a change of scene. I couldn’t deal with being in that apartment anymore.”
He nodded.
“I understand.”
He didn’t really understand, because everything seemed too sudden for him, but somehow for you, who just started talking to a stranger on a plane who seemed scared, it fit. He looked down at his hand. He didn’t know what possessed him to hold your hand, but again, it just seemed right, even if it was something he had never done before. He found himself opening his mouth to ask you something.
“So, they’re getting married now?”
“Yeah. And it’s not a normal wedding. They had to make it an all-expenses paid wedding that goes on for literally three days.”
“Okay. Wow.”
“Yeah.”
And although you looked perfectly content, something told him that you were upset. Again, he didn’t know what he was doing, because he just wasn’t an impulsive or spontaneous person, but he found himself retracting his hand to shake yours. You looked up with an eyebrow raised.
“Hi. I’m Song Minho and I’d be more than happy to be your plus one for this wedding.”
You widened your eyes.
“Oh. Oh wow. Are you sure? You don’t have to if”-
He shook his head. You studied his face for a few seconds before grinning.
“Hi then Minho! I’m Y/N L/N. And I’d love to have you as my plus one.”
---
“So, tell me a bit more about your ex and his fiancé. I don’t want to be clueless when I meet these … interesting people.”
You nodded and whipped out your phone, pulling up some old photos.
“Okay, so I know this is a group picture, but he’s the shirtless one in an apron and she’s the one holding a cake.”
Minho’s jaw got ever so slightly tense when he realised how alone you were in the picture. Sure, your ex’s hands may have been draped over your thighs, but you were struggling to keep a smile on your face. It was so obviously fake. And your ex was so obviously unbothered by it.
“Ah okay. What’re their names?”
“Andy and Liza.”
“Okay, tell me more. How did you meet?”
“Oh right. We were in high school together. At that point, we were just friends, but when we ended up working the same part time job in college, things started changing and one day, after months of flirting, he made me a cake with the icing saying, “Will you go out with me?””
Minho forced a smile.
“Hmmm romantic.”
“It was. It really was. He wasn’t always that bad. He…just got incredibly forgetful over the years.”
Again, Minho found himself saying something he never would.
“So basically, he took you for granted?”
You paused, stunned for a moment.
“Yeah, yeah he did.”
There was a moment’s silence before you turned to him.
“Okay, so if we’re going together, we have to know basic things about each other. So… how do you feel about twenty questions?”
Minho hated twenty questions, but he nodded anyway.
---
An hour or so later, you pouted as Minho helped you with your bags.
“We weren’t done with the game though.”
He finally managed to get the last of his bags and started walking towards the exit with you.
“I know, but don’t worry. We can figure this out once we get to the hotel.”
“Thank you so much Minho. I honestly can’t explain how much it means to me, especially since you’re here on vacation.”
“No, don’t worry about it. My friend was a little busy for the next few days anyway.”
Lies. You would soon learn that whenever his left eye twitched, he was lying.
“No, but still”-
“Y/N!”
You froze. You’d recognise that voice anywhere. Before you could react, you felt Andy’s arms wrap around you as he hugged you.
“Y/N! I’m so glad you could come!
Minho stiffened when he noticed how uncomfortable you were with Andy’s overfamiliarity. Minho didn’t like him. Something about his behaviour with you was odd. Liza also hugged a visibly uncomfortable you and smiled.
“Y/N! The reason this is all happening!”
Your fake smile slipped. And that was when Minho couldn’t watch this anymore. Again, he found himself doing something he would never otherwise do. He walked forward, wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you closer.
“Hi. You must be the happy couple.”
Your tense body relaxed a little when you heard his voice and felt his arm around you, which was odd. You always took a while to warm up to strangers. Andy’s expression tensed though.
“And you are?”
Minho stuck out his hand.
“I’m her boyfriend.”
Your breath hitched for a second and a light blush spread across your cheeks. You had been planning on introducing him as a close friend. Oh well.
Andy took his hand and smiled a visibly forced smile.
“Oh, I didn’t know she was seeing someone.”
His grip on Minho’s hand tightened.
Minho’s eyebrows shot up. Oh. So, Andy was that kind of guy. The one who felt oddly possessive over his girlfriends no matter how badly he treated them. Scum.
Minho’s grip tightened even more.
“Well, I doubt you know much about her anyway.”
Your eyes shot up from your fake smile to stare at Minho in shock. You did not see snarky Minho coming.
Andy just stood there for a minute with his eyes wide. He couldn’t believe what he heard. When he finally got around to reacting, Minho had already moved on to shaking Liza’s hand and offering her a smile. It was fake, and you knew this because every time he had smiled at you, with that ridiculously adorable smile that just lit up his whole face, you found yourself melting. Andy, however, interrupted your thoughts. In a mocking tone, he asked,
“I’ve known Y/N for 8 years. How long have you known her for?”
You glared at Andy, and wrapped your hand in Minho’s, prepared to leave and apologise to Minho about Andy’s behaviour later, when Minho replied in a tone of pure ice.
“Long enough to know her worth.”
Your jaw dropped. Liza’s smile was long gone and Andy was practically red with anger. So was Minho. On the outside, he seemed calm, cool and collected, but he hated the way Andy treated you and felt so entitled to your kindness. The way he treated you when you were so clearly uncomfortable was just the tipping point. A smile tugged at your lips, even though you made a half-hearted attempt to glare at Minho. He pulled you a little closer, shooting you the smile that made you lose track of thought.
Andy was furious and it was clear Minho wasn’t going to back down. It was also clear that you weren’t going to do anything to stop Minho. It wasn’t like Minho was lying about something. You were at an impasse. So, when Liza awkwardly suggested they show you guys to your room in the hotel, everyone jumped at that chance.
Half an hour later, the four of you walked in awkward silence as Liza led you to your room. She offered you a genuine smile.
“Here you go Y/N. We picked one of the pool facing rooms because you like those.”
You struggled, but smiled back at her. It was their wedding. You were not going to be unnecessarily mean.
You and Minho walked in and when you saw the large bed in the middle of the room, your eyebrows shot up. Natasha, one of the two friends you had really missed, told you that all the rooms had two beds.
“Why is there only one damn bed here?”
Minho blushed and looked away, but you jumped when you heard Andy.
“Why? Is sharing a bed a problem?”
You turned around to find Andy right behind you, about to lean on your shoulder. Before you could even react though, Minho stepped in between.
“No, absolutely not a problem.”
“Oh yeah? Then why did she sound so annoyed?”
Both you and Liza were glaring at Andy, though for very different reasons.
Minho closed his eyes for a second and decided to just go for it. No matter what happened, he would not let Andy bother you any more than he already had. He wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you close.
“We had a bit of an argument before getting here. But we’ll be fine, right babe?”
If you thought your heart was beating fast because he called you ‘babe’, when you looked up at him and he placed a soft kiss on your forehead, you thought it would burst out of your chest.
His hand slipped a little lower, from your waist to your hips and played with the knot holding your dress up. He had the most wicked smirk on his face when he mumbled,
“Besides, these things have a way of working themselves out, right princess?”
Andy let out disgusted snort, grabbed Liza’s hand and stomped off, but you didn’t register any of that. You could only register the look in Minho’s eyes and the way your knees were weakening. Did…did you like him?

detention • bill denbrough
requested bill x reader : )
warnings: swearing, mentions of drinking, i think some sexual themes, and georgie denbrough: wingman of the century
this is like 3.5k god
[losers + reader are 17 in this]
♡
as you lean forward on your arms and suppress a groan, you silently wish you could be anywhere else right now. you're stuck sitting in detention, the white room empty except for the teacher lounging up front and two other students. you're staring at the clock, willing for it to hurry up and hit 4:30 so you can leave already. it's only 3:16. you groan quietly, wishing you'd never been caught scribbling graffiti in the bathroom.
you start to itch because you can basically feel eyes burning holes into the back of your head and you know it's from bill denbrough because the only other student in detention was bill's friend beverly marsh, who was dead-asleep in her seat next to bill.
you fucking loathed bill denbrough, although you didn't talk to him almost ever. you're not totally sure why, maybe it's his stupid confidence, his loud friend group (although they're all pretty nice), the fact that he's captain of the baseball team, or just because of the way he treats you. frankly, everybody that you know loves him, and that alone gives you enough motivation to resent him.
you'd met him freshman year in your shared algebra class and you'd thought he was really cute, until you heard him open his mouth. it was long ago enough that you don't remember what he'd said, but he'd made an offhand comment about you that had embarrassed you in front of the whole class. even though you can't remember what he'd said, you remember how you felt and his stupid fucking smirk and you're still very bitter.
so, you throw him glares whenever you see him - in the halls, at football games, and especially at parties after you've had a few too many fireball shots. you even stopped going to the pool where he works as a lifeguard during the summers. you don't feel bad when you say rude things to or about him because it's not like bill has ever treated you with an ounce of respect.
bev letting out a soft snore makes you snap out of your thoughts. she was actually pretty great - you'd shared a smoke with her and richie tozier a few times, so if she were awake you might've talked with her. but she's out cold, so your only options are talking to bill, trying to talk to the teacher who's name you didn't even know, or staying silent and waiting until you could leave.
looks like you're going mute until 4:30.
suddenly you feel something light hit your shoulder and you look down to see a wadded gum wrapper. you roll your eyes but don't say anything, even when you hear a soft snicker and feel another soft thud.
"alright, i gotta go use the john. i'll be right back, so don't try to pull anything fast on me." the teacher announces a few minutes later, dropping his book onto the desk loud enough to jolt beverly awake. you snort when you see her wipe her mouth with the corner of her sleeve. "and you can talk to each other, you know. this isn't breakfast club." the teacher says with a smile that makes you want to punch him.
as soon as the teacher's gone, beverly's up on her feet, slinging her bag onto her shoulder. "right, well this is kind of my window of opportunity. i'm gonna dip, later billy. bye, y/n." she says, saluting the both of you before walking straight out of the room.
your jaw drops. "can she do that?" you ask in bewilderment as the door closes. you don't even care that it's bill you're speaking to.
you hear bill laugh, "we c-can do a-anything. it's called confidence. but i guess y-you wouldn't kn-know." he taunts, his voice snarky. you roll your eyes, "well i don't see you walking out with her." you mumble, leaning back in your chair but refusing to turn around and look at him. you'd probably hit him if you had to see that stupid fucking smirk. or those green fucking eyes. or those fucking muscles.
"well if i left now, i'd b-be robbed of some q-quality time with such p-pleasant company." he says, voice dripping with sarcasm. god, you loathed him.
"shut the fuck up, bill. you're such a dick." you spit out, mumbling the last part as you glare at the door, wishing the teacher would come back soon.
"r-right. i forgot you were so s-sensitive." he snarks. you roll your eyes. he's such a prick. "well you're a douchebag. you're so fucking immature! who throws wrappers? this isn't third fucking grade." you spit, spinning fully in your chair to face him.
his feet are kicked up on the desk in front of him, his green hoodie bringing out his eyes. holy shit. your throat goes momentarily dry. you resent him so much but shit, he is so fucking hot.
"that was bev, not me." he says casually, a smirk playing on his lips. you pretend not to notice his dimple or his hair, glinting under the ugly fluorescent lights. "she was asleep!" you hiss in utter disbelief that he would try such a blatant lie. he just laughs with a shrug, his mouth opening to retort, but the door opens and the teacher comes back in.
you spin back around, looking to the teacher as he frowns, "where's marsh?" he asks, becoming increasingly angrier. "who, sir?" bill pipes up. you can practically hear his smirk. "it's a-always just been us."
the man frowns, glaring at the two of you. "don't move." he says, pointing at bill and you before turning on his heel to leave again, storming off to try and find bev. you blink, "well that was a freebie."
you hear bill snort. "he's never going to f-find her."
you nod, smiling a bit. "yeah, no way. he's probably going to give up soon. teachers always get tired of this shit."
"well they're not paid enough." bill says and you hear him moving behind you. your eyebrows raise, shocked that he'd say something so... sensible. you kind of just assumed he was a meat head who only cared about himself. bill stands, walking over to where you sit on top of your desk. he leans against the one across the aisle from you.
"that's true. maybe i should leave, just to get out of his hair." you joke. he snorts, running a hand through his hair.
"i m-mean, i'm sure he's g-going to be gone until f-four thirty. he p-probably wouldn't even n-notice." bill plays along. you try not to let yourself fall into what you assume is some dumb trap - but you find yourself liking talking to him. he's still fucking annoying, though. "knowing y-you, you'd probably s-snitch, though." he says with a grin.
you glare at him, "that was one time, two years ago. get over yourself." you spit, a teasing lilt to your voice. he rolls his eyes. "s-says you, y/l/n."
you scowl again as he smirks. "and what's that supposed to mean?" you asks, your lips slightly curling and your attitude giving way to his teasing glance. he just shrugs, "n-nevermind. you know, b-besides the chronic s-sarcasm, st-stubborness, selfishness, and p-pessimism, you're not bad, y/n." he says, looking at you with inquisitive eyes. you snort, "gee, you really know how to make a girl swoon, bill."
he raises his eyebrows as if to prove his point and you have to look away before he catches on to your blush. "yeah, well. i'm still not too sure about you." you bite back, holding back a smile. he chuckles, his smile genuine and kind of making your stomach flutter. you almost punch yourself in the stomach for its betrayal. "what d-do i have to do to p-prove to you, y/n?" he whispers, pushing himself off the desk and taking a step towards you. you raise an eyebrow - if you didn't know any better, you'd say he was flirting. you hum, tapping your fingers on your thighs. "you can give me a ride home. i don't want to walk." you say with a lifted eyebrow. he may be annoying, but he has a car and you don't want to get caught, you figure he'll be a quick getaway. he grins, walking to grab his backpack. "l-lets go then, princess." he says sarcastically, making you flip him off, bending over to grab your bag and hide your blush.
bill's car is littered with empty energy drink cans, an empty fanny pack that he insisted wasn't his after your intense bullying, and his baseball bat bag in the back. he drives with one arm on the wheel and one on the center console, music playing quietly. it's a little awkward because every time one of you speaks, the other rolls their eyes and quips back something rude.
you're giving him directions but he doesn't really seem to be listening. suddenly he gets into the right lane and you sit up, looking at him like he's crazy. "my house is over there, bill." you say, pointing to the left as he turns right. he nods, keeping his eyes on the road, "sorry, w-we've got to m-make a quick st-stop."
you look at him incredulously. "what? i have my phone, you know. people will know how to track me if you murder me."
he laughs, the warm sun glinting his hair and making it glow more auburn than usual. "y-yeah, whatever. it w-won't take long. if its th-that bad, i'll buy you a m-milkshake." he reasons with an eye roll.
you knew he was being sarcastic, but you wanted to make him pay, literally, for wasting your time. "fine, but i'm getting a large. and i'm not joking." you say as he parks the car. "fine. w-whatever gets you to sh-shut up." he mutters. you snort in annoyance, looking out the window as he pulls up to an elementary school. what the hell? he lifts his brows, "but i th-thought you wanted to g-get away from me as q-quick as possible." he says with a smirk. you shrug. "free ice cream is free ice cream, no matter how shitty the company." you say with an innocent smile. he rolls his eyes but the teasing look in his eyes remains as he shakes his head at you. "y-you asshole."
you have to turn your head to conceal your grin.
it's silent in bill's car so you almost jump when hands slam against your window, making you squeal in surprise as you look up from your phone and your eyes meet another pair. "who are you?" the boy on the outside of the car asks, voice muffled by the window barrier. he can't be more than ten, and has sandy brown hair and a fucking adorable grin. you blink as bill rolls your window down, "g-get in the b-back, georgie." he says, the boy immediately obliging and jumping into the back with energy.
bill looks at you, his cheeks slightly pink and you try not to let yourself like him a little more now that you know that he picks his little brother up from school. kind of sweet for a boy like bill. certainly unexpected.
"who are you?" georgie asks again, staring at you with curious doe eyes. you smile awkwardly. "um, i'm y/n. w-we go to school together." you gesture to bill awkwardly.
"th-this is my brother georgie." bill explains, gesturing to the back as he pulls out of the parking spot. you nod at the obvious statement. "obviously. guess it's good to know you're not just kidnapping some kid." you mumble, making bill laugh. you grin despite yourself. georgie perks up, not having heard what you said. "what's so funny, billy? is it y/n?" he asks, pronouncing your name slightly wrong. you smile, lifting a brow at bill.
something about this car ride is making you see him in a new light - bill listens so intently to what georgie says, who in turn asks a million questions about bill's day and even yours. it's cute, their relationship.
when he pulls ups outside of what you assume is the denbrough house, bill turns back to look at his younger brother. "are you guys dating? are you going to kiss her? you should kiss her, billy!" georgie giggles, asking with genuine curiosity. you have to bite your hand to stop from screaming, feeling absolutely mortified. bill looks just as exasperated. "g-georgie, get out of the car." "but where are you going?" georgie asks. "i'm t-taking her home, g-georgie. go get st-started on your homework and i'll b-be back to help in a little." bill says with a groan, avoiding looking at you. "okay, bye billy! bye, y/n!" the boy says, completely oblivious to how awkward he'd just made it. as soon as he's gone, you look at bill. his jaw is clenched as he throws the car in reverse, speeding out of his neighborhood. it's awkward now, and you're so uncomfortable that you blurt out the first thing you can think of, "so are you still gonna get me that shake?"
bill seems to bounce back almost immediately from that awkward drive to his house, looking at you with a blinding and cocky smile. "f-fine, but don't expect me to have f-f-fun or anything." "i would never dream of it, bill." you say with a teasing smile of your own. "wouldn't want to tarnish your reputation, golden boy."
you moan, spooning a bite of your shake into your mouth. "thank you, bill. this is very much deserved, you know. i think i forgive you for kidnapping me." you tease, knowing you're being immature but kind of really liking the way he looks when you push his buttons. bill scoffs, "i sn-snuck you out of d-detention and b-bought you a shake, if that's c-considered kidnapping then y-you're lucky." you laugh softly, admiring his side profile as his car coasts down derry's main street. the sun's almost setting by now, and despite your better judgement you find yourself enjoying bill's company. "my fucking hero. you're quite a character, you know." you say sarcastically, but adding the second part softly. "y-you too, y/l/n. i-if you weren't so stubborn i th-think we'd be p-pretty close." "oh, is that so?" you ask slyly, your stomach swimming with butterflies as bill pulls up to a stoplight and looks at you, suddenly flustered. "i-i didn't mean- w-well, i j-just meant-"
you cut him off with a hand to his arm, the red from the stoplight glinting onto his face and making him look handsome in the shadows. "i'm just messing with you, bill." you say softly, "i think i was... wrong about you. for the most part."
he smirks, leaning towards you when he notices that your hand is still around his arm. you blush more at the proximity than your hand still being on him, but you pull your hand back to your lap. "so are y-you gonna c-confess that you've b-been in love with me for y-years, y/n?" he asks teasingly. you scoff, unable to help it when your eyes trail to his lips quickly. but you still roll your eyes. what a dick.
"you fucking wish." you say back, staring at him as he leans closer and for a second you think he's going to fucking kiss you but a loud honk makes you both jump.
neither of you have noticed that the light's turned green.
"fuck." bill mutters lowly, groaning. you bite your lip, trying to stop your mind from taking that noise out of context, instead staring ahead as he turns into your neighborhood. it's only a few minutes of silence until you tell him to pull over into your driveway. your milkshake was now gone and you sigh as he throws his car into park.
"thank you for the ride home. and for the shake." you say with a smile. he grins at you, shrugging as if to say it was no big deal.
"n-no problem." he mutters, staring at you. "you're not as an-nnoying as i thought. i didn't totally h-hate it." he teases, making you snort. you use your empty cup as an excuse to lean over the center console and get closer to him. he watches you with slightly hooded eyes and a smirk that kind of makes you want to slap him, but also kiss him.
"so, do you pull these moves on all the girls? have you turned georgie into your little wingman?" you tease.
he blushes as he undoes his seatbelt, prompting you to do the same. "n-not at all, oh my g-god. he's used to r-richie or eddie being in the car, s-so he p-probably a-assumed... i mean, he's... he's a kid. d-doesn't know what h-he's saying." he shrugs, stumbling through his words. you don't mind, though.
you smile, biting your lip when you notice his eyes flicker down to your mouth, "i don't know, i think he was onto something." you whisper. bill hums, boldly placing his hand on your cheek. his eyes are still trained on your lips. you flush under his touch, his hand feeling huge against you. you're extremely nervous and yet very, very excited.
"well i'd h-hate to disappoint him. o-or you, princess."
"too late. you disappoint me every day." you tease, your smile giving yourself away at his nickname. he chuckles, his thumb stroking your cheekbone slightly, "sh-shut up." he mumbles lowly.
and then he's pulling your lips to his.
you breathe in through your nose, hands immediately coming up to his shoulders as your body leans against the console, kissing him back. it's soft at first, and his lips are plush and he's squeezing your hips.
you never imagined that you'd like kissing bill denbrough, let alone that he'd be this good. you sigh quietly as he deepens the kiss, his other hand falling to your waist. one of your hands goes to the back of his neck, threading your fingers into the hair at the nape of his neck. his hand brushes your hair behind your ear as he kisses you passionately. he breaks the kiss slowly, your lips staying together slightly as he pulls away. he kisses you again softly and quickly before pulling all the way back.
you stare at him, a smile unable to stop itself from covering your face. you don't feel embarrassed, though, because bill's got one identical to yours. the way bill's looking at you makes you feel embarrassed; you've always treated each other unfairly but he's actually a pretty great guy. it's quiet until you hear a window slide closed up at your house, and you clear your throat.
"um, i should... i should probably go get started on homework." you say, sure that your blush is evident. he's smirking at you as you stumble awkwardly through your sentence. he hums in agreement, watching your every move. your face is on fire, but as you turn to him, opening the door to leave, you lean back in, pressing another kiss to his lips. he chases your face as you pull away, and you bite your lips as you smile at him.
"g-goodnight, y/n." he says as you shut the door. you lean slightly on the open window, looking at him. you really want to stay, but you know you have to go in. "thanks, bill. goodnight." you whisper, pulling away from the car with a shy wave, turning to go up to your front door.
"i still kind of h-hate you, but i b-better see you again sometime s-soon!" he calls as you make your way through your lawn. you smile at his words, feeling excited.
"well take me out then, denbrough!" you say, turning to walk backwards up your lawn. he's grinning at you from his car.
"f-friday! i'll pick you up at s-seven. i promise g-georgie won't be there!" he calls, ducking to maintain eye contact. you giggle, nodding, "alright, bill. i'll see you then." you say, waving and turning around to jog up the steps to your front door.
you giggle to yourself, feeling giddy as you think about the complete 180 of how you perceived bill from this morning to now. he's got you blushing like a middle schooler who just had her first kiss, and you love it.
maybe bill wasn't as bad as you thought.

Dream(James Potter x gender neutral!Reader)
Pairings: James Potter x reader, (minor)Wolfstar
Words: 1746
Y/N = your name
Y/M/N = your middle name
Y/L/N = your last name
Y/F/I = your first initial
*Note: they are 16*
“Tellmetellmetellme-” James smirks at them.
“No, James.” Y/N sighs. The truth was, they had a massive crush on him for years, and Marlene let slip that they had a crush. Not ideal.
“But come onnnn…” James smirks at them, running a hand through his hair.
Y/N glares at him, blushing lightly. “I’m going to the library,” they say, standing up. “Anyone want to come?”
Lily nods, standing up as well. “Yeah, I have a Transfiguration paper.”
Y/N smiles and they start walking out, not aware of the disappointed frown on James’ face as he watches them walk away from him.
After a few hours filled with writing furiously and internally(and outwardly) cursing certain professors, Y/N finally leaned back in their chair, watching the snow fall outside the window, smiling softly and letting their mind wander to a certain messy haired Gryffindor. Lily looks up from her book and smirks. “You thinking about him?”
Y/N jumps and almost falls out of their chair and stares at her, blushing. “Who?”
Lily chuckles. “You know.”
“I do not.”
“James.”
Y/N blushes more, if possible. “What about him?”
“You like him.”
“Sure, as a friend.”
“And as a crush.”
Y/N sighs, too tired to fight it. “Fine. Yeah, I do. But I can’t tell him! He’d laugh and then tell me that he only sees me as a friend. Or tell me that we can’t even be friends-”
“No, he wouldn’t,” Lily says, cutting them off. “He wouldn’t do any of that.”
“Yeah, I guess you might be right, he wouldn’t laugh, he would just tell me that we will only ever be friends.” Y/N nods thoughtfully and disappointed. “I mean, he’s basically in love with you.”
Lily shakes her head, laughing. “James was never in love with me.”
“But he asks you out literally all the time.”
“‘All the time?’ When was the last time that he flirted with me?”
Y/N opens up their mouth to answer, but then realizes they don’t know.
Lily nods. “See? And he only loved the idea of me, not me myself. But you know who he does love romantically?”
Y/N shakes their head.
“You.”
They laugh. “No way. He only loves me as a friend, like he’s done since forever.”
Lily smirks. “You’ve never really seen the way he looks at you, have you? He looks at you like you’re his entire world. Which you are.”
“He’s looked at Sirius the same way.”
Lily sighs. “There really will be no way to convince you, will there?”
Y/N shrugs. “Nope.”
*THAT NIGHT*
“Mr. Potter, you will be paired up with… Y/L/N.” Professor McGonagall announces and then continues with the rest of the partners.
12-year-old James frowns in disappointment, he really wanted to be with Sirius or Lily or Remus. He’d even be ok with Peter. He looked over at his future partner, who was yawning slightly and looking at him, a bit intrigued.
The first thought he had when he first saw them? ‘They’re actually really cute.’ But he liked Lily. He didn’t like them. He didn’t even know them. But he still smiled and walked over. “Hi there, I’m James Fleamont Potter, the star chaser for the best team in school. And you are?”
Y/N looks up and grins at him, chuckling a little. “I’m Y/N Y/M/N Y/L/N, the star of not giving a crap about that.” They hold out their hand to shake and James takes it, laughing.
“Oh, I like you already.”
The scene of the two hands shaking swirls around, goes out of focus, and settles on the sight of leaves falling down from trees outside of Honeydukes.
Chatter and laughter float through the air. That was definitely one of his favorite sounds, but over it all, 13-year-old James loved the sound of one voice in particular, who was gushing over their new chocolate frog card.
“I got an Agrippa card! Can you believe it, James? It’s like, the most famous and hard to get one! (Author’s note: I dunno if this is true)” Y/N grins excitedly.
He shakes himself out of his stupor and shakes his head. “Nope! Maybe it’s a fake and you’re tricking me.”
Y/N laughs. “Come on. If one of us is going to trick the other into thinking they have a rare card, it would definitely be you.”
“Or maybe you’re trying to convince that to be the case to throw me off!” James exclaims triumphantly, grinning.
Y/N rolls their eyes. “Oh Merlin. I can not believe how jealous you are.”
“I’m not jealous!”
“Uh huh.”
“I hate you.”
“Nah, you looooove me.”
James laughs and shoves them lightly, ignoring the light blush that blossomed for some reason. “As if.”
The sound of laughter fades out and the sound of a page turning fades in.
“Come on James, we gotta finish this.” 14-year-old Y/N sighs.
“But Minnie absolutely LOVES me, I’m sure she’ll give me an extension.” James laughs.
Y/N glares at him. “Well, I gotta finish this. Quit distracting me.”
“But I’m boooored!” James sighs dramatically.
“Go bother Sirius then.”
“He’s bothering slash flirting with Remus.”
“Ok, then go bother Peter.”
“He’s eating somewhere, and he looks slightly scary whenever he does that.”
“Then go bother Lily, ask her out, or whatever.” Y/N frowns, not wanting to ask that but also really needing to finish this deadline.
“She’s with Snivellis.” James wrinkles his nose. Partially, that was a lie, he probably definitely would have still bothered her even if Snape was around.
Y/N sighs and looks at him. “Give me twenty minutes.”
James grins. “Yes! You’re the best, I love you!”
Y/N blushes darkly. “Um, as a friend though right?”
James nods, blushing as much if not more than them. “Y-yeah, of course. Obviously.” He chuckles nervously.
Y/N nods as well, disappointed but determined not to show it.
The disappointed look in Y/N’s eyes disappears and an excited look replaces it.
“That’s amazing! I knew it!” 15-year-old Y/N grins at Remus and Sirius, who are holding hands and grinning as well. “Not to mention…” Y/N looks at James, a smirk on their face.
James groans and fishes out ten galleons from his wallet. “Couldn’t you guys be oblivious cowards for another year?” He hands them to Y/N, grumbling under his breath.
Sirius chuckles. “Now it’s your turn.”
Y/N looks at him, confused. “What do you mean?”
Sirius gives her a look. “Come on. We all know.”
They shake their head. “Nope. I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
Sirius sighs. “The fact that you two idiots are deeply in love with each other and won’t admit it.”
James and Y/N’s eyes widen and they’re cheeks are immediately colored in a deep red. They both stutter, trying to think of a witty comeback while Remus and Sirius laugh.
“Well, that certainly shut them up.” Remus snickers.
Finally, Y/N and James regain their speaking ability.
“James is madly in love with Lily, not me.” Y/N protests
“Yeah!” James agrees, not bothering to mention his heart wasn’t really in it anymore when he asked ‘Evans’ out.
“Uh huh.” Sirius and Remus say in unison
“I knew it,” James mutters. “I knew that when people got together, they would become telepathic. Y/N, we should get together just for the pranks.”
Y/N forces a laugh out, struggling to ignore the pain that that comment caused her. “Yeah, that’s actually not a terrible thought.”
The dream fades to black
James wakes with a start, smiling to himself, thinking of one person. The person who he cared about the most.
Y/N.
He goes through the motions of waking up(taking a shower, brushing his teeth, etc.) with a grin.
Sirius smirks. “What’s got you so happy?”
“I’m a man in love, Padfoot.”
“So you and Y/N finally confessed to each other>”
“No… not yet anyway. I’m planning on doing it later today.”
“Ah. Mind if I make a few bets? I mean, I already did, but I lost some so I’m going to make some more.”
“Yeah, sure- wait what?”
Y/N was sitting in McGonagall’s class, taking notes every so often when they feel a pair of eyes watching them. They turn around to see a smirking James Potter, looking at them with an intensity that made them blush fiercely. They frown and take out a small piece of parchment.
J,
Why are you staring at me? Are you planning something?
-Y/F/I
They throw the letter at James who catches it and opens it up with a grin. He immediately starts writing back.
Y/F/I,
Yeah, I’m planning something. You caught me.
Love, J
Y/N blushes slightly at the use of ‘love’ right before he signed his name, but shakes it off. ‘Just a friend…’ They remind themselves.
J,
Well? What are you planning? Also, you still haven’t answered my first question.
-Y/F/I
Y/F/I,
Meet me after the rest of the classes today. I promise I’ll explain everything.
Love, J
P.S. You look nice today.
‘Ok, now he’s being an asshole. Making me all flustered just so he can make fun of me later…’ Y/N sighs and picks up her quill.
J,
Fine. Tree by the Black Lake?
-Y/F/I
Y/F/I,
Can’t wait.
Love, J.
Hours later, after begrudgingly making a mental note to complete a History of Magic essay, Y/N makes their way to the Black Lake, to the tree where James is resting against, smiling softly.
“James?”
“Y/N,” he looks up and his eyes brighten. “Hey. I missed you.”
“We just saw each other like a few hours ago.” They chuckle.
“I know, but still,” James says, completely serious for once in his life.
Y/N blushes and sits down. “So. Care to explain why you were making me flustered? Was it just another one of your pranks so that you could make fun of me?” Y/N looks at him, eyes with a hint of anger and hurt.
James’ eyes widen. “No! Of course not! I’d never do that to you.”
“Then why were you?!”
“Because I’m definitely in love with you!”
Y/N was about to have a comeback but then hears it. “R-really?”
“Yeah. I think I have for a while, but I only just now realizes it this morning.” He confesses. “But you probably don’t like me back, I can go-” He moves to stand up
“No, wait! I-I’m definitely in love with you too.” Y/N gives him a smile.
James sits back down and kisses them. “I’m so happy.”
“Me too.”

Bands were a pain. You should have known that before you auditioned for the school band. They were looking for a singer – backup, mind you – and you were ready to go all out. Or so you thought. In all reality, there were more people in the band than you expected. There was Esher who was the lead singer, Katrina, another backup singer, Lily, the pianist, (C/B/F) who was on bass, Danny on Electric guitar and, of course, (C/N). He was the main drummer and school’s bad boy. 2 years older than you, he knew how to get anyone to like him. Well, anyone other than the teachers.
In reality, though, he was a pain. He had no self-control, no common sense (which isn’t very common anymore, I admit), and absolutely no sense of empathy. If it were your choice, you would have kicked him out as soon as possible. Unfortunately, you had no say in the matter. Besides, being in the band was the only way for (C/N) to not get expelled, and if he was kicked out, all his friends would be out to get whoever kicked him out. You did not want to die young.
2 weeks after the audition, you found yourself sitting in the band room, awkwardly listening to conversations. (C/B/F) was tuning his bass. Well, trying to, anyway. (C/N) was playing his drums like a madman, basically bashing his sticks against the smooth skin of the drums. You flinched each time the drumsticks hit the cymbals, moving further away from him. As of now, you were pressed against the wall, your anxiety shooting through the roof. Then it was quiet. Did you go deaf?
“Hey, who’s the newbie?” You froze at his voice. His eyes met yours, glaring into your soul. “I was talking to you.”
You blinked, breaking the eye contact as you shuffled in your seat. “I’m (Y/N)…”
“(C/N), are you bullying (Y/N)?” A voice cut in. Katrina stared the drummer down. “You know it was your fault we lost Dahlia.”
“Tch, maybe she just wasn’t good enough,” (C/N) muttered. “Besides, all she did was flirt.” He winked at you. “I won’t scare her, though. She doesn’t look threatening at all.”
You felt heat rush up to your cheeks and you hastily looked away. “Thanks, I guess…”
***
3 week later, you and (C/N) were somehow joined to the hip. Well, you against your will. He would stick with you during lunchtimes and pester you to accompany him to the music room so he could practice his drums. You would begrudgingly bid adieu to (Y/B/F) and sit in the band room, listening to his deafening drums.
Still, there were some good things that came out of the whole ordeal. You were the only person other than (C/B/F) he could stand in the school, and you could tell him to do things without him blowing a fuse. In all honesty, though, a lot of the band members were quite annoying and were pretty rude to him as well as other people. Most of them were arrogant in their words and actions, which were the main reason (C/N) didn’t enjoy their company.
“You’re the only one who I can stand here,” he said one day, swinging on his chair.
You raised an eyebrow at him, a smile tugging at the corners of your lips, “Oh?”
He nodded, rolling his eyes as he picked up his sticks. “Wanna go to the next room? I can teach you to play.”
“Only if you tell me why you like me so much.”
He laughed quietly, as to not annoy Katrina and Lily who were busy practising their harmonies and chords. “Deal. I think you’re nice.”
You snickered, “is that it?”
“Well…” he stopped for a moment, looking you up and down. “You have good fashion sense. You also are not as irritating as the others.”
You laughed, “How does my fashion sense have anything to do with it?”
“The others wear stupid branded clothes as if it’s cheap shit. News flash, bitches, not everyone in this world has a rich ass.”
Rolling your eyes, you tugged him up, revealing his branded shoes. “Care to explain, mister ‘Leader of the Free World’?”
“They’re shoes. They don’t count.” He placed a hand on your head. “You wouldn’t understand because you’re so naïve.”
Laughing, you pulled him towards you with his drumsticks, “Alright, Leader of the Free World. Teach me the ways of the drums.”
That was on his good days, last week, specifically. On this particular day, he was called to the principal’s office, leaving you to wait outside for him. You were awkwardly seated outside during your lunchtime, nibbling on your sandwich.
“(Y/N), would you come in, please?” Principal Mullens (anyone gets the reference?) called your name, and your head shot up.
“Sure?” Brushing the crumbs off your (skirt/pants), you got up. Walking into the little office, your eyes met (C/N)’s.
“Are you okay?”
You saw him flinch, “Yeah.” He looked up at the principal. “Why is she here?” His voice was cold, threatening the man who scowled.
“(C/N),” you began gently, touching his arm, “what did you do?”
His jaw clenched while Mullens told the story. “Mr. (C/L/N) got into a fight earlier today. Nothing too serious to the victim, but (C/L/N) refuses to apologise. Usually we would call the parents; however, it has come to my attention that they are away on a business trip. That is where you come in.” He looked at you from his glasses.
“Come on, (C/N), please apologise.” You looked up at him, your face pleading. “You can tell me what really happened afterwards.”
“Fine,” he muttered, “I’ll apologise.”
You saw Mullens visibly relax, and he quickly dismissed both of you. (C/N) swiftly took your hand and led you out of the office. When you were well away from any students of teachers, you stopped. “(C/N).”
You sighed as you saw him flinch at your tone. He bit his lip, letting go of your hand. “He was talking about you.” Cocking your head to the side, you looked up at him, confused. He caught your gaze and continued. “Tristan. He was talking shit about you like you were an animal. I told him to shut up at first. He threw the first punch.”
“What did he say?”
“He called you a slut and an attention seeker.” He shrugged, shoving his hands in his pockets.
“Well,” you offered him a smile, “thank you.”
A light pink dusted across his cheeks and he looked away. “Can I… can I tell you something?”
“Sure. What’s up?”
He bit his lip. “I- well, the thing is…” he trailed off and you let out a laugh.
“What?” You grinned up at him. “Come on, spit it out!” He was still quiet. In a softer tone, you said, “You know you could tell me.”
“Okay, well…” he let out a shaky breath before resting his hands on your shoulders. “I really like you.”

I saw Jersey Boys on Tour! (6/30/19) Atlantic City.
Ces Soirees la' Silhouettes
The transition from Ces Soirees la to Silhouettes is amazing.
During Tommy’s monologue Nick and Nick are talking.
I love Frankie’s entrance. “Silhouettes! Silhouettes!”
“Rocky Marciano!” Tommy makes punching motions. (I’m actually friends with his grandson or great grandson. I can’t remember.)
Apple Of My Eye
Frankie was the only one that clapped.
The waiter was bored out his mind and the drunk guy is honestly a mood.
I Can't Give You Anything But Love
Frankie looked so confused when Tommy called him up on stage.
Everyone became interested when Frankie started singing.
“You listenin’?” Ya.” Type A: At first they're real easy. Jump right into bed with you. Then later on, they bust your balls. Type B: At first they play hard to get. Then later on, they. bust. your. balls.” “I don’t get it?!” “Don’t worry. You will.”
Earth Angel
This is actually my favorite song from the show.
Mrs. Castelluccio is watching over the judge and when Frankie is released she looks relieved.
Nick brings Tommy his suitcase.
A Sunday Kind Of Love
Nicky looks at his dates breast the entire time.
________________________
Frankie stares at Mary like a lovesick puppy while singing.
He loves her so much.
“She’ll send you home in a envelope” Tommy said envelope with a thick Italian accent.
“Type A.” “Ya Ya.” Frankie shoves Tommy away.
“Y’s a bullshit letter.” My last name ends with a Y.
“They... went away for awhile.” Poor Frankie.
“You’ve got a nickel?” “YAy” Frankie had a voice crack.
“You've. got. to. shoot. the. witnesses. too. This is a basic rule.”
My Mother's Eyes
Gyp is actually pretty young. Like 40’s-50’s ish. He actually looks kind of younger than Tommy.
“I’ve got a very special relationship with him.” “Tommy.” “Ya gyp?” “Can you pick up my dry cleaning?” My favorite part of the show.
“Bring me to Springfield to see my granddaughter.” Quite a few people laughed because gyp looks like a dad of a teen.
“Those guys went away?” Frankie looks over to Tommy suspiciously connecting all the dots. “Ya.”
Frankie holds up the dollar bill and goes “EyyEes” at Tommy like ‘haha look what I got‘
________________________
“With you and Gaudio!” Joey is so annoyed with Tommy.
I Go Ape
“Tommy I can’t keep it straight. One week we’re the Romans, the village voices, the fucking Andrew sisters!” I love Nick’s sass.
“Comedy stuff” Nicky just screams “Noooo!”
“Handsome Hank.”
“HHHEeeYYyY”
Hank’s voice was cracking while yelling at the guys and then did a body motion that made his mask go over his face and walked out like a gorilla
“Stick to what you're good at. Rob a bank!”
Short Shorts
“Joe Pesci. Ya That Joe Pesci. The actor. 30 years later the little punk wins an Oscar. Who knew.”
When Bobby starts playing Tommy makes a bunch of hand motions.
Moody's Mood
Frankie just stares at Bobby the entire time.
Cry For Me
Nicky was flirting with this girl but got distracted by Bobby’s singing.
Tommy was looking around to see how everyone was reacting and right before he started to sing he was like “oh fuck it”
“It’s. Fucking. Dynamite.” Tommy glares at Joey. “Itsgoodagoodblend.”
Backups Medley
So I was in Atlantic City to see the show and I’m honestly disappointed that whenever tge guys mentioned Atlantic City the crowd didn’t cheer louder. (I’m not from Atlantic City)
I love Crewe’s hand motions.
“And who are YOU? Yum. Yum. And yum.” Bob looks to audience. Audience laughs.
Honestly Crewe and the sound producer are the most iconic duo. Change my mind.
“Take, whatever.”
Sherry
I loved their moves.
Big Girls Don't Cry
Nick’s baritone gives me life.
Walk Like A Man
“What like a woman!?”
“Apparently more guys than we thought have been twisted around a girls little finger.”
December, 1963 (Oh, What A Night)
The prostitutes have sexier outfits.
“What’s your name?” “booOOOOOOBBBB” Bobby’s voice gets even higher.
Bob coming out in the bathrobe was amazing.
“Ended much too soon.” Tommy points to Bob’s privates.
“Nick was right. It is more fun with another person” the audience bursts into tears.
“Almost 8. Miles. A. Gallon.”
“I want you inside me.”
My Boyfriend's Back
WHY DOES NOBODY TALK ABOUT HOW THE GIRL WHO PLAYS MARY HAS TO DO AN 8 SECOND QUICK CHANGE FROM ONE OF THE ANGELS TO MARY!?
My Eyes Adored You
Mary looked so upset. Maybe even more than Frankie.
I actually feel sorry for Mary. She had less sass.
Dawn (Go Away)
I loved when their backs faced us and the lights came out.
The ‘crew’ was singing along with the Seasons
When the loan shark came out Crewe and others were around so they heard the debt conversation.
When the guys were singing walk like a man to Tommy a woman took a picture of him right before the lights went down.
Big Man In Town
I loved Nick before this. Love him even more. I just want to hug him.
“I forgot we were in O.H.I.O.”
When the guys are arrested and Tommy sings Ohio Nick looks amused.
Tommy sang really high on “old time in OHIO!”
When Lorianne was interviewing everyone poor Nicky was sitting next to them drinking his sorrows away.
“You don’t tell the truth to your wife!”
“He might be a little stupid did you ever think of that?”
Beggin'
When the guys walk in front of the gangster drawing was actually iconic.
When the guys sit down right after beggin Nick grabs his shot glass and drinks all of it in one gulp. While everyone else took a small sip.
Nicks monologue got a lot of laughs. Mainly when he sat down, he had a look on his face like “oh shit what did I just do?”
Nick talking back to Tommy. Calling Tommy out. Honestly cured my anxiety.
“HE WAS PISSING IN THE SINK!” “I do not piss in the sink” Nick walks away from Tommy. Tommy raises his hands and goes ‘oh well’ and sits down.
So if you have seen the OBC bootleg and the promotional video from like 2011 during Frankie’s monologue when he’s yelling at Tommy. JLY starts very stern and calm and Jarrod Specter starts really angry and yells but Jon Wextler is like right in the middle and I loved it.
“Taxly half a mill. In that area.” Poor Nick slams his head on the table.
Tommy looked like he was gonna cry when he was being escorted out by the loan shark because Frankie turned away from him.
Medley
“I don’t want anyone involved in our future but me and Frankie!” The light goes onto Nicky. The audience ‘awwww’ s for Nicky.
Nicky almost looks like he’s gonna cry.
“Do you think it was Nicky’s drinking?”
“Performing wasn’t really my thing” silence. “You know what” silence. “You’re right. I don’t want to hear it.”
“Fuck you.”
It’s quite sad when the number of microphones being pushed off gets smaller and smaller until it’s only Frankie.
Mary was actually really sincere.
C’mon Marianne
Poor Frankie just trying to stay alive.
Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You
Everyone began clapping Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You started
At the end, Frankie was enjoying the claps.
Working My Way Back To You
He’s so happy!
Love Joe and Charlie
Fallen Angel
This song made me cry.
It hits a chord with me.
I feel so sorry for Frankie.
Rag Doll
All the guys walk out in a line singing.
I lowkey forgot Tommy existed
“If you’re ever in Vegas and you say the name Tommy Devito. My hand to god. You’ll be out of there in about 10 seconds.”
“I don’t give a FUCK about the old neighborhood.” Honestly one of my favorite parts.
“Without ME.” Bob just has a huge grin on his face like ‘look what I did’
During Nick's final monologue (I think) walk like a man was playing behind him or big girls don’t cry. I can’t remember.
For some reason people started laughing when Nick said “It just came out of my mouth.”
“And you’re ringo.” A lot of laughs.
“Nicky and that mind of his.” Nick walks right off stage as he finished that. I was actually crying.
Everyone laughed at the battery bunny joke.
Who Loves You
It was amazing.
All the guys came out together and bowed together.
December, 1963 (Oh, What A Night)
This was also amazing.
The guys walked out together holding each other.
Other notes:
Whenever someone comes out sitting on a chair, they slide in on wheels and slides out.
Bob and Nick were y’all bois
Frankie was a small boi
Joey was adorable.
Tommy has a few gray hairs
Poor Tommy was sweating up a storm during the first few songs
Tommy has plastic covering his furniture
Love the outfits
I want Bob and Frankie’s shirts
(l to r) Jonathan Cable, Jonny Wexler, Eric Chambliss and Corey Greenan
