the male gaze distorts reality
started watching movies again (just don't like movies really) and one thing that surprised me was how the male gaze isn't just about staring at hot naked ladies, but how it distorts reality. the male gaze creates 'people' and 'situations' that simply don't exist.
the biggest example to me is the femme fatale. the devious woman using her sexuality as a weapon. whether the trope is a blonde bimbo bubblingly bouncing her boobs, or a sophisticated older brunette casually letting the strap fall off her shoulder and threatening to reveal her bust, they are different incarnations of the same concept. the women are knowingly using the sexual desire of men against them.
i watched a particularly egregious example where a group of women were sent to seduce a group of men, hanging off their shoulders, caressing their chests, with the promise of further sex if they came to another room. the true purpose was to humiliate them by getting them to disrobe in front of other people.
when i was a kid watching these scenes, i was convinced that this was a real thing women did - there were women out there who knowingly used their sexual appeal to get men to do things they otherwise wouldn't. it had to be such a recurrent trope for a reason, right? it even shows up in movies for children - remember the hot pink pegasus seducing hercules's pegasus?
youtube
but as an adult, i find myself confused watching these scenes. i've never seen anything like this happen. i've never met someone who says they do things like this. it's one thing to be flirty and dress in a sexually attractive way to get free drinks, but it's quite another to be so sexually forward to 'deceive' and 'trap' men. not to mention, it's... dangerous. if the man even believes he's being deceived, he can turn violent. it's a foolish move.
maybe the only real life example I can think of is honeypots. but honeypots are actual spies, trained by governments, and spies are selected to have less empathy than the average human being. do we really think that among untrained women there are so many seductresses with the skill of trained spies?
"what about sex workers/prostitutes?" while the honeypot spy is employed by a government agency, prostitutes are paid by the very people they are "seducing." prostitutes have to put on an act - they need to pretend to be the sexually active and perpetually horny woman men both want and fear. but most prostitutes are not like this; they are in it because they need money fast, not because they think fucking strange men for pay is a sexy and desirable career path (fun fact - read the diary of madam pompadour, the most famous courtesan and the embodiment of aristocratic seductress, and you will find she actually did not like having sex with the king and dreaded it. not even our real life courtesans can live up to our fantasies.)
the entire idea of a woman using her sexuality against men is simply a male fantasy - and the flipside is that it's a male anxiety, too.
men wish that women would approach them and find them desirable and initiate sexual intercourse with them, without the men having to do any of the work. there's nothing inherently wrong with fantasizing that a hot person finds you so special and hot that they want to have sex with you right away. men and women of all sexual orientations entertain these secret fantasies.
but then, there's the fear - "what if these hot women are actually only pretending to be interested in me, to get something from me? and i'm too horny to think straight and i actually give it to them?!" and that is the male anxiety, that for a moment, they actually end up losing the upper hand. despite the fact that such a situation is actually pretty rare in real life (I asked several male friends if they had personally or second-hand encountered such a situation in real life, and none could say they had), it is a common trope in fiction. it is especially lascivious in film, where the seduction before the fall can be portrayed in softcore porny ways.
"this is a foolish idea, everyone knows fiction and reality are separate." well, we know they are separate, but do you know which parts? if you don't already know the facts of the situation beforehand, how can you tell when fiction is lying to you and when it's drawing from reality? do you think the young, sexually inexperienced kids watching disney's hercules know that 'seductresses' aren't a common threat when we watch this scene? or will they learn and think "ok, a thing that happens in grownup life is that hot ladies seduce men, and you gotta watch out for them!" what basis does a child or even a teenager have to know this is false? especially when this is a common trope?
"women are sexually available and active - and deceitful" is a harmful trope. when you read about the ancient greeks stereotyping that women are lustful, they don't mean it in an "aww shucks, these girls just love having sex!" kinda way, they mean it in a "women are unfaithful and will use any means to get dick, including taking advantage of their hotness" way (this is why 'whore' is the ultimate insult for women). because if this trope were real, then it would be dangerous, wouldn't it? honeypot spies are dangerous for this reason. luckily for us, it is not real, but the male anxiety surrounding it continues. the male desire/anxiety around it informs porn tropes about 'punished sluts'. it informs incel tropes about the 'cock carousel'.
and this is what i mean when i say the male gaze distorts reality. it fabricates, out of whole cloth, a person that does not exist in any meaningful way - a woman who seduces men while demanding no emotional involvement, who is eager and willing at all times, who can turn the very desire for her existence against those men to get what she wants. she is not repulsed by or afraid of the men she pretends to be attracted to. before, we had to content ourselves with art and novels glorifying this false woman, but film allows her to exist in flesh and blood. cast a real woman, have her speak words and move her body in ways dictated by a man, and suddenly she appears much more real. grow up with enough of these, and even women writers can start to think these "seductresses" are real people. she can try to reclaim her and turn her into a badass boss babe, or she can condemn her as immoral and pathetic, but the deception is complete - the argument is no longer about whether this woman exists (she does not), but about whether she is justified in her ways. the female writer does not realize she was nursed on the male gaze for years, and it will take serious seeing with her own eyes to realize what is the real world and what is male fantasies and fears.

For my ask; what about modern sev with a little shit that couldn't give a damn about consequences Like imagine after like idk they play soccer or some shit and before they get in the car they yell at a kid like "YOUR AIM WAS ASS AND YOUR MOM'S A BITCH!" and immediately just scurry over to sev like "hi ma :)"
micron!!! welcome back!! this idea is SOOOO perfect i love it
men and minors dni
little fucker wasn't always called little fucker.
when she was a baby, still too tiny to talk or walk, you and sevika referred to her with much more traditional nicknames.
'peanut' when she was still a newborn, tiny enough to fit in one of your arms.
'sweet girl' when she was being cute, cuddling against sevika's chest or wrapping her entire hand around your pointer finger.
'baby' most commonly-- usually with an adjective in front. 'stinky baby' when she's got a full diaper, 'sleepy baby' when she's yawning and cranky, 'beautiful baby' when you're rocking her to sleep, humming lullabies to her.
but as she grew and her personality developed, 'little fucker' quickly became the most frequently used nickname for your baby.
she's a mischievous, impulsive, goofball.
at two years old, she watches sevika flip someone off in heavy traffic, and despite that her tiny hands can't figure out a simple peace sign, she manages to figure out the middle finger.
she shoots it at anyone and everyone. the mailman, the old man standing behind the three of you in line at the grocery store, the neighbor's dog-- nobody's safe from little fucker's middle finger. luckily, she's cute enough for people to just laugh when she does it.
when she figures out what money is, and that money can buy candy, your little girl starts stealing.
she'll harass anyone who enters your home. 'gimmie a dollar,' or 'show me your wallet,' only to steal the cash and run to her room, hiding it in a shoebox under her bed.
again-- people think it's cute, and they never bother telling you or sevika that your daughter's just robbed them (especially since she only robs them a dollar at a time.) you find out what's been happening when you're cleaning her room and find around a hundred crumbled up one dollar bills under her bed. sevika thinks it's the funniest thing she's ever seen.
when she's old enough to start going to pre-school, you and sevika get texts from her teachers on a daily basis. she never goes far enough to get in any real trouble-- but she's just so fucking funny all her teachers need to tell another adult about how goofy your baby is. you, sevika, and the three women who run the day-care are all in a groupchat titled 'little fucker chronicles.'
a lot of it's just pictures of her covered in mud or dirt or paint.
some of it's stories about her handing out her own form of justice to kids who don't share toys-- putting worms in their hair or ignoring them in a round of hide and seek, making them stay cramped and hidden for an hour.
and of course, all the crazy shit she says to other kids sent back to you and sevika: 'my mommy could beat your dad up. he looks wimpy.' or, 'do you know what b-i-t-c-h spells? no? well, it's something that you are.' and, your personal favorite, 'no i don't have any brothers or sisters, i'm already a handful.'

Female Power Done Right: A closer look at Pian Ran from TTEOTM
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The seductress: regulating sexual morality
Female characters have always been stereotyped in popular media. While this isn't limited to the portrayal of women, it has affected them disproportionately and usually in a negative way. There are a number of common stereotypes of how women are portrayed, such as the virtuous woman, the seductress/femme fatale, the Mary Sue and more. While I don't want to say that TTOETM doesn't rely on these kinds of stereotypes to tell its story, the show does get some things right when it comes to its female characters. Pian Ran is the best example of this.
Tumblr media
Most temptress are villains, because female sexuality is often framed as something negative, something dangerous. Sexual morality serves to regulate gender relations, for example through various sexual taboos and prohibitions on premarital and extramarital sexuality or homosexuality. In the major religions and many cultures, sexuality is traditionally placed in the service of procreation. In the ascetic-monastic traditions of Hinduism, Buddhism and Christianity, which are characterized by sexual renunciation, sexuality is equated with ignorance, desire, attachment or sin and is considered an obstacle to salvation. As women are identified more strongly with physicality than men, sexuality and instinctually in all the religions mentioned, the widely received stereotype of the sexual seductress emerges, which has been used to justify a wide range of discrimination.
Therefore, seductresses are not about female sexuality, they are (through the male gaze) objects of sexual desire for men, while also being a negation point of sexual morality. Virtuous women, especially protagonists, are often sexualised, but not portrayed as sexual beings. In contrast, sexual women are often the competition of the main character. They tend to use their physical attractiveness to attack or steal the main character's love interest, or to overpower the hero with their evil tricks. For this reason, they are often associated with animals that are seen as deceitful, cunning, poisonous or dangerous (e.g. snakes, scorpions, foxes).
At the first glance, Pian Ran fits this archetype well. She is a fox demon, who feeds on the life energy of men. She seduces them, using their sexuality for her own gain and entertainment. Pian Ran also dresses "provocatively" and doesn't conform to social conventions. When we first meet her, she is playing the historical version of strip poker, not just for the money, but because the desperate men amuse her. In the same episode, she forces Ye Qingyu to accompany her to the market and uses her sensuality to throw him off balance.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
However, Pianran also subverts this trope. Her sexuality isn't portrayed as something negative, it's accepted by the people around her. Ye Qingyu never judges her for it, even though he is the polar opposite. Ye Xiwu never looks down on her either, instead she comes to him for advice and even flirts with her.
Sun Zhenni's performance deserves a lot of praise. Her sexiness doesn't feel "sticky" or "creepy" to me, like many other characters of similar type do. She has a natural sensuality that isn't over the top, more sassy than naughty. You can tell that she studied her character a lot and tried to portray her as nuanced as possible.
Pian Ran is also much more than just another fox demon and seductress. She is a complex character. But her main theme isn't really seduction - it's working life.
Tumblr media
Pian Ran vs. work life
This theme runs throughout the drama, from Li Susu offering her a letter of recommendation for a particular sect when they first meet, to Pianran's work for Tantai Jin - and her resentment of it.
She has to work to survive - literally, as Tantai Jin tricks her into believing she has swallowed a pill that will give him control over her life. "Take the pill", which will change your life and take away your freedom, is also a reminder of how certain drugs and their side effects work. While she's not without a certain amount of freedom and has her own command within the Jing Kingdom, she's tied to Tantai Jin's command and rigorous work schedule.
Our girl is a for sure a regular on r/antiwork...
This theme makes her a relatable and likeable character. It also shows how her character is a comment on current social issues, beyond gender roles. This is one of the strengths of TTOETM, it’s strong social and moral message that goes beyond the plot of the drama.
Pian Ran vs. love life
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As a character, Ye Qingyu is the opposite of Pian Ran: Virtuous, very righteous and rigid. But he never judges her for her behaviour, he always understands her and gives her space. And most importantly, neither of them changes who they are as their relationship progresses. She doesn't suddenly become a modest woman, he doesn't turn away from his ideals - except maybe in that cut arc in Jing Kingdom in the 3rd arc.
In many ways, Ye Qingyu and Pian Ran embody the classic trope of the seductive and virtuous hero: she affects men in a certain way that causes them to stray from the straight and narrow or interferes with their domestic arrangements. For example, when he spends the first night with her and thus neglects his duties as head of the family, or when she contributes to his changing sides and joining Tantai Jin. In short, she is disruptive.
When she advises Ye Xiwu/Li Susu on how to seduce Tantai Jin, she suggests various manipulation tactics to gain his attention and favour, but Pian Ran also gives genuine advice - to both of them, actually (although sometimes it's my accident).
One could make the argument, that they were aiming to frame her initial strong sexuality as a coping mechanism due to the loss of her husband and love threads. The absence of her love threads manifests quite different to Tantai Jin, mainly in form of attachment issues.
Tumblr media
However, the show doesn't try to make a point about female sexuality by emphasizing a change in Pianran's behavior based on finding the right man. If anything, it's Ye Qingyue who meets her halfway by having a premarital affair. What I like most about their relationship is that they are each other's equals. They both have high ranks in Tantai Jin's kingdom and army, and he listens to their advice and treats them equally. Moreover, Pian Ran is never a damsel in distress. Even when Ye Qingyue dies for her, it is because she was blindsided by the attack while she was winning her own duel. In the end, she shares the fate of most seductresses who disrupt the social order - she dies (if they don't join a convent). The difference is that her death is a tragedy and not framed as a regulation of sexual morality and gender relations.
Female Friendship
Before I dive into the relationship of Li Susu and Pianran, I want to comment on the common dualism of the sensuous vs. the virtuous woman. Li Susu (or Ye Xiwu) is not the virtuous heroine, it’s (again) Ye Bingchang mirroring Pian Ran. This is something that subverts the whole trope! It's the virtuous woman who become disruptive and falls from grace, while Pianran becomes a righteous heroine. However, while Pianran doesn't become virtuous, Ye Bingchang tries and fails to use seduction to manipulate Tantai Jin. She also has an additional set of love threads that make her seductive to men without using her sensuality or sexuality. It's a fascinating dynamic. As I said, TTEOTM is not a perfect show with a feminist message, but it certainly tries to subvert gender stereotypes - and not just with its women, but that's another issue.
Pian Ran's third important role in TTOETM is that of Li Susu's friend, who supports and guides her. What makes their dynamic so interesting is that while Pian Ran looks younger than Li Susu, she is considerably older (well, if you count age by years lived, not by date of birth). They are flirtatious, they share a horse and a bed, and they pass the Bechtel test! Li Susu even risks her health to cure Pian Ran of Tantai Jin's blood curse.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both subvert gender expectations in their own way. They are strong characters without abandoning their femininity. The empowerment and the feminist ideas, they are embodying, also come natural to the storyline and are not just tropes. Therefore, they are relatable characters for a modern audience (except when they are not).
Edit: Got rid of some spelling mistakes!

Back to the basics: How to become a sissy? I think it's time to revisit the basics.
MISTRESS FEMME FATALE Pretty Sissy Academy It's been over a year since I wrote my "How to become a sissy? A starting guide." post. Since then, I've trained a few dozen girls, and I learned a thing or two, even though I still agree with the main point of the original "How to become a sissy" guide.
Most sissies have a complicated relationship with their inner girl. For many, it's a love-hate relationship. It's especially difficult when you're at the beginning of your journey. Not only are you terrified of trying, but when you finally find the courage to do so, the results are not what you hoped for!
All the sissies you've seen all over the social media are stunning. Gorgeous. So feminine. How on earth are you supposed to become a sissy like them?! You, on the other hand, look as if you're wearing a costume that doesn't fit.
It's easy to become discouraged and give up. Why risk so much, and spend money, effort, and time, only to end up frustrated with your looks? It's a crucial moment in your sissy training journey. You must not fall for this trap.
You have to make up for the knowledge and skills that women spend decades acquiring. Even for them, achieving genuine and captivating femininity is an art that some never fully grasp. Sounds difficult? There's one advantage that can put you ahead, however, and that's determination. Your dream is to become beautiful.
If there's one thing I keep telling my students over and over and again, it's this: being a sissy is a marathon, not a sprint. Take a step-by-step approach. Learn from someone experienced. Find a community. Don't expect too much in the beginning.
One of my students almost quit on her first day. I prepared a two-week training plan for her. When she saw that by the end of week two, I wanted her to be able to put the makeup on (nothing too difficult, a natural no-makeup makeup look!), she was terrified!
I don't think my training has a crazy pace, but she needed to slow down! And it's completely alright. We started doing things slowly. Little tasks like researching foundations. Preparing a list of items for a dream outfit. Starting with a proper skincare.
After a few weeks, she was thriving in her femininity! The difference I witnessed was incredible. What is the lesson from all this? Take small steps and be consistent. There are many aspects of your feminine journey:
Psychology
Makeup
Figure
Wigs/hair
Wardrobe
Voice
Social circle
Start with what you see as most important (I suggest working on your mind first. Unresolved issues will pop up sooner or later), and do a little task everyday. Good luck! For training questions and more information dm

I really get what you mean with how fandoms tend to treat trans characters. It feels like they treat the trans character more as a kink than an actual part of the character.
It honestly feels so prolific that it's to the point if I see a character tagged as trans in fic written purely for smut (like a pwp one shot) I feel like I need to investigate the author first so I'm not just walking into a character's transness being used as something just to get off to. Especially when they'll suddenly have the aforementioned character start acting far more femme, or something along those lines. It's probably rooted in some form of internalized transphobia or homophobia. Maybe even both.
I also know for some people who write stuff like that they are trans and I probably don't really count as trans (I use different pronouns than what I was born with, but don't really have time not money to look into physical transition) so maybe I'm just looking too deep into it and should touch grass, but it does still give me the ick.
:gives you a big hug: first, you absolutely are trans, if that's a label you're comfortable with. There's no barrier for entry, I promise. Anyone who tells you otherwise deserves a kick up the backside.
Second... yeah. It's just so prolific and insidious... It's at the state where if I want kinky dom/sub sex where the subby bottom has a vag, I'll look for fics with transmasc characters, because that's what you get, 99 times out of 100. If I want fics that centre transmasc characters and actually explore transness, or fics about transmasc characters who have literally any other preferences in the bedroom.... I avoid fics tagged with 'trans [character]' like the plague and go off reccs from trusted friends. Which means I've found about like, three good fics overall in my fandoms where the transmasc character gets to have a different role in the bedroom.
I dunno, it's just kinda.... tiring, lol. And from being in F/F fandoms, I can tell you that the exact same thing happens to trans women in fic - they're used as a convenient penis in smutfic 99% of the time, and only ever seem to be put in dommy top roles. Sooooooo yeah. I do think it's something fandom as a whole needs to just... think about a bit.
To be clear - there's nothing WRONG with writing subby bottom transmascs or dommy top transfemmes. There's definitely nothing wrong with BEING either of those things. The issue is when almost ALL of the smutfic about characters who fall into these categories is like that, and it feels like these trans characters are just being... treated as an extension to their genitals, and common societal expectations thereof.
I would encourage authors to THINK and CHALLENGE the assumption that transmasc = bottom and transfemme = top! Not saying you HAVE to write anything, but holy shit, a tiny bit of variety would be really fucking nice lol. And you might enjoy writing a different dynamic more than you think!

persona charts observations based on my placements
my natal placements which can help to understand my casual appearance: Virgo Asc & Mars in the 12th house, the 1st house Virgo Sun, the 2nd house Libra Venus & Mercury, Moon in Taurus in the 9th house. probably, you imagined a plain nerd or clean-aesthetic girl when you read this, right? actually, these placements describe me so well in everyday life. I'm not an eye-catching person at all. my style is simple, and a random passerby would not even remember me after 5 minutes. that's why it was difficult for me to explain the hell obsession with femme-fatale or heroin chick aesthetics, piercing, tattoos, provocative, sometimes over-sexualized photos etc. like, on my Instagram, I mostly have a different, even self-destructive, rigid vibe. recently, I've checked my ascendant person chart. guess, what? Sagittarius Asc conjunction Pluto as a ruler of the 12th house. add the 1st house Mars here. and the 8th house Leo Venus. now, I have no more questions. I guess it can be connected with the idea that the ASC persona chart can reveal your "inner self", the way you dream of presenting yourself to society, but for some reason it is not available. almost all my photos are taken alone by myself, as I am shy, so it's like my own safe-space. that's why I can only show this side of myself while taking photos.
despite the fact that persona charts are not researched properly yet, I'll try to provide some insight into how to better understand and interpret them. it's like Inside Out cartoon. like each "emotion", each part of your life represented by a certain planet has its own natal chart. for example, in my Mars persona chart I have IC in Cancer with the 4th house Venus being squared by Scorpio Moon. you can't imagine how furious I can be if someone attacks my family. however, as it is not a trine, but a square, it usually creates a situation where "I can say anything about my family because it's MY family, but if YOU try, I'll cut off your head". moreover, my Mars is in the 8th house in the conjunction with Chiron, and Pluto is nearby. my level of outer defensive/aggressive/sexual energy is usually quite low (natal Virgo Mars in the 12th house) but my Mars with these features is most active and bright exactly when I reach my limit and can't handle things anymore. it's like hidden reserves that appear out of nowhere and say: "actually, you CAN. I'll give you another chance, but instead of complaining, go and DO it, okay?"
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Virgo Mars in the 4th house squared by Pluto 🤝 Scorpio Mercury in my Mercury persona chart... guess, who always has verbal fightings with relatives in the family chat?
my natal chart ruler is Libra Mercury in the 2nd house (also being the ruler of the Gemini on the 10th house, MC conjunction Jupiter) and it's supposed to be the main source of my financial basis and income. during my whole life I literally feel that I'm destined to earn money with writing/speaking/advocating for something - you know, all Mercury-related activities. however, my Mercury persona chart along with MC persona chart are like: "haha, we've prepared the 12th house Jupiter, empty 2nd house and Neptune in the 8th house. how is it - knowing where you should go, but not knowing how?" I have a hint, however. nearly EVERY persona chart I have, has active 9th house (especially in Jupiter persona chart - Gemini Sun, Mercury, Saturn, Jupiter in the 9th house). I guess, I should search realization somewhere outside my country, but I'm still thinking how I should achieve it.
the 1st house Aries Venus trine Pluto in my Saturn persona chart. yes, I really feel that aging makes me better in terms of appearance. and, as I suppose, more confident (I blame Aries...). my Ascendant is in Pisces - people usually tell me that now I look younger than 4 years ago, for example. I guess it's due to more relaxed vibe and less amount of makeup, lmao.
Moon persona chart... I have an opposition between the 1st house Taurus Sun and the 7th house Scorpio Moon. I should admit that the contrast between the inner & outer expression of my emotions is drastic. not my best quality, but I can easily play cool in front of someone who offended me. I can easily say: "I don't care, forget it, we're fine." but due to the 1st house Sun my ego is A LITTLE BIT fragile and I remember every. single. word. that has been said. I take my time and think how can use it later. like "I'm not vindictive, I just have a good memory".
Thank you for reading!

I have this image of Jack standing next to Arcee as June introduces her new boyfriend, the Titan (insert name here). Jack was already mortified when he learned his mom was a robo-fucker. This is a humongous mech who turns into a space ship and a city. A cybertronian sized city! The teen is floping down on the base couch having a full on nervous breakdown trying to push away all questions he realy doesn't want to think about, let alone get the answers too.
Meanwhile you have the Autobots marveling over June becomeing the first new cityspeaker since before the war. Also just the Quintessions being active is Alarming™️.
Who knows what our unhinged Titan friend is going to do when he learns human lives are so short especially if he's got a personality that's part Ratchet's and part Optimus.
Jack is having a breakdown for entirely different reasons because the Cybertronian gods did a coin toss to see if June will have Megatron and his child at Thanksgiving/Christmas holidays or if she will plan Megatron's demise. They'll either get along like dynamite in a mine, someone will end up dead, or both.
He has no idea how it will turn out, but when his mom has a Project. It's hers.
And I meant it's June that has a personality between Ratchet and Orion Pax. Like every good hospital worker with shitty administration, she's very much a person who has Malicious Compliance embedded in her bones with the addition of spite, energy drinks, and hidden contraband somewhere you wouldn't expect under a serene smile and a spine of steel.
If you are her people, then she'll mother-hen the shit out of you. She's intense and she knows that. June has gotten better over the years in that aspect, but should a friend or family need help, she's there.
20/10 will drive you to your surgery at 4 am as a designated driver, terrify your shitty apartment managers into compliance, or help plan a massive heist to take back all the money your cheating lover has stolen over the years for their side piece(s). She's built on solid alibis and documentation, documentation, and oh documentation.
She made a nest of giant pillows in the garage for Arcee, and even partitioned it out to give the femme the privacy to be rest in her root-mode when June needs to use the clicker. And Jack uncovered the plans to target Airachnid, and he has no idea how to feel about it because he can tell that his mom is heavily utilizing the medical commentary from Ratchet, the details of the 'bots' exploits that Miko manages to wheedle out, and his own experiences with 'bot-eating parasites...
The unhinged Titan has found a match, but it's not romantic. Oh no, June Darby now has a life-long project to spruce it up. And said Titan is not only over the moon that its new favorite person with similar levels of devotion, but has a lineage with a son that looks so much like her. It was once a major research facility that dealt with xenobiology. It's not above looking into ways to expand their lifespans. Anything for their favorite. Anything. Even if it must lure the resident scientists to its bosom and trap them to make use of its repository of accumulated data.

OKAY DON'T WORRY I'VE GOT A LOT OF THEM TO SHARE WITH YOU I HOPE YOU'RE READY FOR SOME GOOD WLW FEM!GALLAVICH FEELS (these may be a little all over the place but just roll with me here okay? okay here we go)
to start with, Ian is a nickname for Lillian, Mickey is a nickname for Mykhaila (Ukrainian feminine form of Mikhailo)—they'd still go by Ian and Mickey, because if Lip can be a nickname for Phillip then all bets are fucking off :p
technically all of this started with my brain going "lesbian gallavich with hella self image issues" because they don't feel like they can measure up to their "prettier" sister (Mandy and Fiona) but both of them thinking the other is gorgeous as hell. Mickey being kind of a femme/butch (which is why she's the one who calls the shots with her brothers, she's the tomboy compared to Mandy), and Ian wanting to be all pretty and femme but doesn't think there's a point to it because money and also she doesn't think highly of herself
things would be way different for them both as lesbians—Ian would definitely still be the forgotten middle child, although she and Lip would still be Fiona's backup ("you two are my rocks") because I refuse to believe that girl Ian wouldn't be just as committed to ROTC and fitness as canon Ian. She'd be able to kick anyone's ass any day of the week. I think she'd really look up to Lip and ofc he'd love Ian as his little sister but like, with the same kind of condescending vibe he gives Fiona and Debbie? Although maybe since they're practically twins his misogyny toward Ian wouldn't be as blatant.
she'd still be taller than him (tallest Gallagher no matter what!) and have long red hair that she just throws back in a bun or ponytail all military style. I can't see her having short hair just because short cuts can be a lot to maintain, better just to let it grow and keep it pulled back. (I know, I've thought way too much about the little stuff lol)
Mickey would be very punk. With an undercut and all kinds of piercings. Mandy gets more attention from boys but Mickey does get her share, although of course she's like blegh. She'd rather be kicking ass and taking names and proving to her dad that she's just as good at being a fuckin Milkovich as Iggy and Colin—she's got more brains than both of them combined and she's smart as a whip when it comes to doing math, as well as where scamming people is concerned. Terry would begrudgingly acknowledge this but never misses a chance to put her down because she's just another dumb bitch. Only serves to make Mickey more determined to show what she can do, though, and her brothers and cousins are no match for her when it comes to scrappy back alley fighting. She climbed to the top of the heap early on and punches out anyone who tries to take her on.
Ian absolutely falls in the lesbian stereotype of wearing flannel constantly. I feel like she would want to do girly sorts of things but like, doesn't feel she'd measure up to Fiona or other girls so she just sticks with "comfortable" as her main fashion staple. Her and Debbie probably share a room too, although as I said above, she's still super close with Lip. Debbie would ADORE her big sister, would look up to and admire Ian because they've got so much in common—it might even be that she finds Ian's lesbian porn and that's how she knows about it ("penetration isn't required for sex to occur").
I'm not sure how they'd meet in this au but it would still probably involve Mickey chasing Ian around trying to beat her up lmao. my original thought was maybe like, either Mickey chased after Ian because of something Lip did in a reverse of canon, or Mandy thought Ian was talking shit about her. Regardless, the idea of 5'1" Mickey chasing after 5'9" Ian is hilarious especially because I feel like Ian would end up being almost six foot tall by the time she's done with puberty.
even once Ian and Mandy end up being bffs (there'd definitely be some miscommunication, but Ian doesn't wanna get murdered by the Milkovich siblings, so she manages to clear the air with Mandy when she can get away from Mickey and their brothers), Ian probably wouldn't tell Mandy she's gay, gotta keep that shit on lock. So once they're besties she's gotta endure all the boy talk and be like oh haha yeah totally…but at some point Mandy would figure it out, probably because she's not dumb and also Ian "play what cool" Gallagher is not as subtle as she thinks she is. But Mandy, other than asking if Ian has the hots for her ("you're beautiful, but I like you better as my friend"), is actually pretty chill and realizes she doesn't actually mind hanging out with a lesbo. Yes, Ian and Mandy and Mickey would use all the derogatory slurs that get used towards lesbians, although Ian is used to the casual homophobia and Mickey is the most homophobic gay ever (I feel like she'd definitely call herself a fag and a dyke once she gets more comfortable in her identity).
idk how the whole grooming thing with Kash and Ned would transfer over—maybe Ned would be some rich lesbian cougar who wants a kept girl or something. But that's unfortunately a big part of Ian's character, the middle kid who's the only one to be physically abused (and yeah, Frank would still hit Ian, boy or girl), and is desperate for any kind of affection so attaches to anyone who gives it. Kash might be a (seemingly) meek wife to some bruiser of a husband who's short and has small dog syndrome, and that makes her sympathetic in Ian's eyes, thus making it easier for her to take advantage of Ian. I try not to think about Kash too much but it is an important part of Ian's self-image
I'm gonna talk about s3 in its own post because I have some Thoughts and Ideas for some changes to make things interesting :p
season 4 would be really even more depressing because I think that when Ian is manic (there'd be no running away to the army because she couldn't use Lip's identity; instead she'd go straight her sugar mama and from there calls Monica when things get too wild) she'd end up getting pimped out by Monica to really gross straight dudes—not that there aren't creeper lesbians who like younger women, but in general it'd be easier for her to find a job stripping at a regular club (lesbian bars don't seem to have the same opportunities as a straight bar or a men's gay bar do wrt making money). Poor Lip and Debbie finding her in the skimpiest outfit, worse than anything Fiona ever had to wear for a job, with way too much makeup on and dollar bills tucked in her underwear, coked out as hell, skinny enough you can see her hipbones, brain and mouth going about 300 miles a minute...ugh.
But Mickey coming and bringing her home safe and sound <3 beating up the skeevy guys trying to roofie her <33 watching over Ian while she sleeps <333
In a happier train of thought, I love the idea that Mickey really likes Ian's long hair and plays with it when she's not really thinking and Ian gets all 😍😍😍 because it means Mickey might like her omg. Mickey has a partial undercut and Ian loves the texture of the shaved part of her hair. Tells her not to let it grow back out and everything.
Mickey having to stand on her tiptoes to kiss her stupidly tall gf ("You're too tall, Red" "Complain all you want, Mick, you know you like it”). Mickey likes getting manhandled but only by Ian—anyone else tries it and they're losing a hand. But Ian shoves her against a wall and does her whole cocky, smug, looming thing and Mickey can't help but melt in her arms (not that she'd let Ian know about it, not at first; gotta make Gallagher work for that shit. Just cause she's a fag doesn't mean that she's anyone's bitch!).
I also like to think that Ian would try the super femme thing in s4 era and Mickey, once out, would be a little more comfortable being more butch, but they both come off as a mix? I just love the idea of fem!gallavich playing with gender stuff in that very specific lesbian relationship with gender—on one of Mickey's more butch days Ian jokes and calling Mickey her boyfriend and Mickey being like oh
personally I feel like Mickey in her dyke era (s5) is an absolute pint-sized powerhouse, and still an absolute fashion icon because those cut-off vests? the tank tops? perfection🤌🏻
most of my thoughts are of early gallavich because I think things would go much differently since Sammi can't call the MPs on Ian in this au, but lemme just say that there's some fun stuff I'll be adding in another ask to add to the DRAMA

Something I've been thinking about lately: In conversations about being intentionally child-free, I see a lot of people talk about how much they resent constantly being told that they'll change their minds someday. And yeah, that sucks. When you tell someone that they'll regret their choices or go back on them someday, you're telling them you don't trust them to make their own decisions. And that's a dick move.
But what I see left out of a lot of these conversations is the fact that some people do change their minds about kids, and that is also okay.
People change. Our priorities and our values change. Someone identifying as child-free at 20 and then realizing at 30 that they actually do want to be a parent doesn't invalidate other people's decision not to have kids. It doesn't even invalidate that person's previous decision. They're growing. They're changing, and that's okay. Healthy even.
When I was 18, I felt very strongly that I would never marry and never have children. For me, this was a reaction to growing up in a religious environment where women were second-class citizens, and what little autonomy/independence single women had immediately went away when they got married. And once you had kids? Well, once you had kids, your personal life was officially over and your identity now started and ended with being so-and-so's mother.
If your only model of marriage and parenthood is a nuclear family where the husband is in charge and makes all of the decisions while his wife does all of the housework and childcare and not much else, OF COURSE you wouldn't want to get married or have kids! My thought process at 18 was basically, "Well, I want to have my own money and make my own choices and have an identity outside of being a mom, so clearly the family life isn't for me."
I'm 25 now. I'm married. My husband and I both kept our own last names, and we maintain separate bank accounts. I have a job that I'm good at, and a lot of people know me from my work. I still have my own money, make my own choices, and have my own identity. None of that went away when I got married. All that's changed is that I have a partner and best friend that I decided to do life with, and we had a ceremony and signed a piece of paper to make it official. We're not quite at the having kids stage yet, but it is something we both want someday.
Me wanting marriage and kids now doesn't invalidate my decision at 18. When I was 18, focusing on my education and career was absolutely the right choice for me. I needed to be able to focus on myself without considering how it would affect a spouse or kids. Eventually, I realized marriage and parenthood can look a lot of different ways. I realized I can decide what they look like for me. I don't have to follow the model I grew up with. And I realized I do want raising kids to be part of my life, just in a way that looks different from what others might expect.
This is a process a lot of people go through, especially women and femmes. If you're in the middle of it right now, just know that you're allowed to change.
And of course, a lot of people don't change their minds. A lot of people who identify as child-free at 20 still don't want kids at 30, 40, or 50. I've met people in their 80s and 90s who never had kids and don't regret that decision. My point here is that some people changing their minds about something doesn't mean it's not a good option for other people.
(And, let's be real, unfortunately a lot of people go the other way: they think they want kids until they have them. That's way more complicated because now there's a whole human person involved who is dependent on them for care and this definitely deserves its own post, but the best advice I can give is if you're young, you need to give yourself time to figure out what you want before committing to anything.)

Who, in the notable Kirby cast, do you think would be willing to become Susie's friend? Aside from Kirby himself of course, as I had already asked about Susie/Kirby interactions previously, so this time this is about how she may be with others!
The rest of the wave 3 dream friends would be good options, as I believe they've all got various things in common with Susie that they'd be able to connect with her about.
I also nominate ChuChu for a friend choice. I had indeed seen the "It's Kirby Time!" stuff where there's one image that has both ChuChu and Susie in it. Two pink girls becoming friends would be totally legit. Susie could even treat ChuChu like a "little sister friend" for when she comes by Popstar.
It's probably the fact that she gives off major lesbi... girl power energy, but I think Susie would work especially well with any of the girls and femme-leaning members of the Kirby main cast!
Susie and Chuchu, as you said, is already implied by the extra material and going by Chuchu's personality in DL3, it's not easy to see why they'd like each other! They both like pretty things, having a good time, and maintaining their own space. They're both a little stubborn, and they're both into girls talk!
Susie and Adeleine is another potential friendship I'm fond of - Ado would probably enjoy having a big sister figure and I'm sure Susie has a lot of stories to share. Some horrifying, considering her childhood growing up in Another Dimension! XD
I don't know if Susie and Ribbon would get along quite as well, depends on how Susie takes to entirely magical beings like fairies. ("I don't believe in occult nonsense!" Susie channeling Seto Kaiba.) But I get the feeling if she ju~st might see her as more of a "curiosity" and that might get in the way of their becoming really close on Ribbon's side as she doesn't strike me someone who'd like that?
(Though they could still bond over their love of pink.)
Despite what I said about fairies, I could see her getting along decently with Elline?! Mostly because Elline's attitude just seems more in line with Susie's. And something about Seventopia's color fairy being something of a living children's book would probably resonate with the woman who lost her childhood. (It would be funny to see Susie and Claycia start talking about their favorite artworks only to stir each other up into getting kind of snobby about art while the others just groan and wait for it to be over.)
Susie and the trio of Franny, Berge, and Zan is practically a given. Susie has a semi-canonical rivalry with Fran over their looks but there's no reason it can't be a friendly one. Susie and Zan could share their various traumas and their both being workaholics.
Susie and Berge might seem like the pair with the least in common, but, paying homage to the semi-common fandom idea of the Mage Sisters all being gaming addicts, I can see totally Susie right there with them on the couch, getting incredibly competitive and shouting into her headset mic in a way that makes Berge burst into giggles!
-
Stepping away from the girl side of things, I also like the idea of a strange friendship forming being Susie and Daroach!
Daroach is a self-proclaimed ladie's man and Susie is very proud of her looks. (Both narcissists, lol! :cough:) Daroach has a lot in common with Meta Knight - intelligent, suave, leader of men, has an airship - and we know that the masked swordsman caught Susie's interest at first glance. Susie, meanwhile, assuming she hasn't been sued for everything she's worth, possesses a lot of money/capital.
They're both off-worlders and capable of interplanetary travel, which should overcome any initial biases she might have about him being "backwards" or too low-tech. Another thing they've got in common is she and Daroach are both involved in undercover activities!
She's an industrial spy; he's a phantom thief!
...This is sounding like I'm writing propanda for a potential ship. ^^; Then again, they both have some bi vibes...! Mainly with Meta Knight. Hmm... Maybe they're actually just Meta Knight-sexual?! In which case, there's something else they have in common! XD
Ooh, this reminds me, I SWEAR I had a really good ask in my inbox talking about Daroach and Susie along the lines of comparing them for their criminal activities but when I went looking for it, I couldn't find it! My sister tells me Tumblr eats messages all the time tho. Still a shame. I was looking forward to answering that one. Anyway! Canonically attractive criminals! They should be pals!!

Here's the downlow on the 'You can't be punk if you have [interest here]!!!' and 'You're gatekeeping punk by saying i can't like [same thing] and be a part of it!!!' discourse:There are many ways to be punk. There are many things that can make you inherently NOT punk unless you change them about yourself.I'm gonna use myself as an example so you can understand what i mean with specifics:
I'm afrolatina.I'm extremely feminine, pastel, super goofy and i wear skirts and stockings and sweaters and do my makeup in 2000s styles.I'm autistic and some of my special interests are kidcore and the indie genre, including listening to stereotypical transmasc/nonbinary bands like The Front Bottoms and being fandoms like Adventure Time and MLP.I haven't been able to go to protests or deface public property yet because my current living situation would put my life at risk if i did.None of this makes me punk nor disqualifies me from it
I've read a lot of punk history and will continue until i literally can't find stuff i haven't.I'm a socialist.I'm learning to diy.I listen to punk music.Because of all the restaurant chain boycotts that have been going on,i've stopped buying from the ones i used to go to and looked up recipes on how to make their foods so i can still eat them but not give them support and similarly,i've decided to buy all my merch from media i like either secondhand or much preferably fanmade so i can support small artists with a focus on ones of color and trans and disabled ones.I save up spare money and have lied to my relatives to get them to give me more so i can donate to causes.I spread awareness about people in need so others can help them too.I do my best to be as respectful as possible in a humanizing way to minorities i'm not a part of and have erased my conservative family's teachings
I plan to get piercings,a battle jacket from a thrift store and load it with patches i made and pins bought from punk bussinesses and my current style is inherently gnc by virtue of me being both a man and a woman and i'm gonna present pastel punk specifically and that'll make it even moreso.I'm a firm believer in rights for all minorities with children being one of the main one's because i'm an eldest sibling and that made it so i ended up befriending a lot younger people enough that we consider eachother siblings too and a few of them even call me their parent because their actual ones are abusive and that's what made me go so hard for children's rights to begin with, especially since in almost all their cases it was motivated by them queer or neurodivergent or so forth, and a few of them have gone punk too because i inspired them to.This makes me punk and the first part dosen't invalidate that in any way,it's just another part of who i am because i'm a human person and therefore multifaced
And that's just the thing-Hobbies and tastes and most styles aren't inherently punk. There's tons,TONS of punk subgenres for a reason.Yes,they're are ones that make it so you can't be punk and yes, there's also ones that would you make a dumbass if you said they're the same as that.Punk has rules. You can be punk and be edgy, femme, indie and everything inbetween. You CAN'T be punk if you don't actually have our ideologies and do our cultural requirements because punk is not a universal heritage. You're not unpunk for not living up to the most popular imagine of us even though you have the personality and fufill the actions. You're unpunk if you prioritize fitting in over being kind and don't help out minorities to prioritize oppressors even though they're the ones you're supposedly fighting for and cry 'cencorship and purity culture' when people think you're gross for having age/raceplay and incest and noncon kinks and sexualizing minors even if they're not 'real' or it's 'just pretend' when there's actual harmful cencorship and when purity culture is about christians historical abuse of young women using their sexualities against them to cater to men.Los Punkeros son asunto serio,no mamen

A brief life update and vent. Tw: homophobia, assault, public harassment, r*pe , s*icide, SH,SA
I’m sure the tw will have freaked some people out so let me start by saying I and my loved ones are safe rn.
I hesitate sometimes on sharing these things here because I want this to be a safe space where people can come and focus on being femme in an uplifted, positive way. But I’ve decided recently that it’s also important to speak out about what we deal with in the outside world.
Where I currently live, it is not safe to stand near a butch lesbian in public, let alone touch. As in, it is not safe for them. Sometimes it’s not safe for you either.
People will definitely jeer at you, and sometimes they throw things especially if it’s late. Normally it’s a drink in a paper cup, but sometimes it’s more dangerous, ie a glass beer bottle. Sometimes you get followed, which can be really dangerous. Both women and men will harass you, but men are more likely to be sexual about it.
Most butches I have met here have had to make decisions on a daily basis, based on where they are going that day and how late they’re staying out, on how ‘masculine’ they choose to look. Some wear wigs.
Some cannot hide because they are butch to the bone. Let me say now that they are perfect, beautiful, and complete. But we live somewhere that treats them as less than human.
I am often okay, if I am on my own. I’m often straight passing, and if I am harassed it’s usually for being alternative. That is another issue. If I am with a butch or noticeable queer in some other way, I will be called names, leered at, propositioned, or groped. It’s like… if you’ve ever been so afraid you’ve stopped being able to see properly, and you feel like you’ll vomit, or wet yourself, you’ll know what that’s like. The thing is, it stops feeling like that after a while. It stops feeling like anything at all.
Sometimes when I cant sleep I wonder if part of the reason butches get attacked is because the men who do this see women who look like me, standing next to them, and use that a reason to justify their hatred. Sometimes the devil whispers in my ear that it’s my fault, and I never know what to say back.
I’ve sat next to friends and lovers on a bed, or on a bathroom floor, or on the street, or in A&E, helping with a broken nose or a bruised gut. Sometimes they’ve been raped. Sometimes they’ve attempted suicide. I don’t always know and I rarely ask if they don’t say; sometimes you just know. I’ve done my best to not look worried, and be the responsible one. I feel like crying all the time, but that doesn’t happen very often.
I guess it’s like… being tired all the time. You get used to it. A part of being femme for me means sitting up without sleep sometimes, because you know someone you love is out there, and they have no money, and they’re not answering their phone.
I’m making things sound bad when it’s never all rain clouds y’know, I love this community! I love our love! The good times surely are good. Butch community, baby, I don’t regret one minute. I love you so much, I always have and I always will. I just want you safe.
I just want this to be over. I just want people to leave us alone. I can’t understand why they wont just leave us alone. I can’t understand why anyone could look at another person the way they look at us.

In this essay I will...
Surprise this time there actually is an essay lol
In ‘It’s a Terrible Life’ Dean Smith (Dean Winchester with no memory of hunting) is queer coded. We see him drinking oat milk in a latte he made with the espresso machine he owns. He has a very definite sense of style, and due to a line of dialogue is revealed to be a fan of Project Runway. He cares about how he looks and is self-conscious enough about his desk job making him put on weight that he is shown be on a very specific diet for the duration of the episode.
I know what you’re going to say (especially those of you born after 2000); you’re just stereotyping him, men are allowed to like all of these things, and you would be right...but we’re talking about film making and visual short hand and with that comes a lot of history.
Queer coding vs. Queer baiting
Queer coding became necessary in the Hayes Code era, writers and directors wanted to include LGBTQ+ but it was literally forbidden. So queer coding came to be, where the film makers wouldn’t be censored as long as it wasn’t explicit text or too obvious in subtext(or if they were a villain but queer coded villains are an essay for another time).
Ultimately queer coding in those days was actually positive and subversive to the puritanical rules of the golden age of movies. So they were trying to make the queer characters as identifiable as possible without being overt, and it would make sense to either focus on or exaggerate more obvious queer traits. The short hand over time became - queer man acts “fruity” or feminine and queer women act butch or masculine. (I’m going to focus on queer men for relevancy)
Visual short hand is necessary for effective film making, and by the 70′s these ideas were deeply ingrained in the industry even though the Hayes Code was abolished. It was expected that audience would know that femme or ‘girly’ men meant gay; and they did. These stereotypes have been challenged in recent years (most of the progress has been made in the last 10 years, if I’m honest).
This is where queerbaiting comes into play. Queerbaiting is not the same thing as coding. Coding was subversive and rebellious in the face of those who wanted to control and censor film makers. Baiting is putting the coding into a character in a time when there’s no reason not to make the character explicitly queer. Whereas coding was made to include queer people in spaces they were being pushed out of, baiting is purposely excluding queer people because the film/tv makers are more afraid of the possibility of losing money than to make their work more inclusive.
Queer coding and visual short hand of queer people are essential to understanding why a viewer might declare a character queer even if it’s never explicitly stated and understanding how queerbaiting is detrimental by denying the audience the truth of what the coding promises.
Now that we’re all on the same page I will say again; Dean Smith is Coded gay/bi.
Yes all the examples as to why this would be true are stereotypes, but  those stereotypes were still the visual short hand standard at the time this was filmed. So Dean Smith has been coded as queer by an industry that very much understands everything I just went over...but he is never explicitly stated as queer which creates a queerbaiting situation. That’s nothing new to Supernatural but it does raise an interesting question:
Why code Dean Smith as gay/bi at all?
They don’t do the same with Sam, he seems to be just as hetero as he is for the rest of the show. This question becomes even more intriguing and baiting when Zack tells Dean(when he’s back to normal) that all he did was remove Sam and Dean’s memories and plunked them in this office building with vague backstories. So...
What is the point of coding Dean Smith as gay/bi?
Given the precedent set by the rest of this show it was surly not to defy stereotypes- this show loves troupes and stereotypes. I can only conclude that the writers thought it would be funny because light homophobia was very accepted in 2009 but....
Inadvertently what the writers/director(possibly Jensen) have done, is imply that there is some part of Dean Winchester that IS queer. That whatever same sex attraction that Dean has, was repressed by his neglectful drill sergeant father. Without that, and raised by (the far superior) Bobby and Ellen and free from hunting, this Dean is allowed to be queer. He’s allowed to be ‘softer’ and show interest in things that might be seen as feminine.
This episode begs me to see Dean Smith as gay/bi and then expects me to believe that there is no queerness in Dean Winchester even though they’re both the same person. That is a suspension of disbelief that even a show about ghosts and monsters can not ask the audience to swallow. It’s just too much.
TLDR; Dean Smith was queer coded as a joke, but by the rules in universe it means that Dean Winchester is also queer 🙃

Reasons to Love Ada Wong:
-Outstanding Intelligence: As seen in damnation, re4, and re6, Ada knows how to remain one step ahead. She knew the BSAA lie would fall through so she could get into the facility to access what she really needed. She immediately adjusted her plan in re4 to make her helping Leon out of tight fits appear as inconsequential tasks while she went towards her goal. She immediately figured out the "Simmons" calling her wasn't Simmons at all. She's not someone you can outsmart easily.
-Excellent Self-Preservation: Gotta look out for #1 baby, and Ada is the best embodiment of that. RE is packed with enough martyrs who will give up their entire lives "fighting for the cause". This girl is there to get her paycheck and get the fuck out so she can live her life, and I respect it. I hope she charges triple for overtime and extra hassle. We should all be doing that.
-Plays The System Like A Fiddle: Ada says fuck cops. Ada says fuck the government. Ada says fuck corporations. As long as what they're doing won't pull her into a long standing cross fire, she will work for the money they offer, but she'll go where she pleases once she's done. Is that really any different than people in real life looking for a better job when leaving an old, shitty one? I don't think it is.
-Has only one weakness: Ada knows her limits. She knows when she can save someone and when she can't. She knows when to let something lie and when to go for it. Leon is her only weakness, but everyone else she can take or leave unless they prove they'll have value for her work. If Leon died, she'd retire or go back to being ultra capable, so kill him Capcom.
-Impeccable fashion: Ignoring the dragon lady take with og re4 dress, Ada's other outfits are fire. Red is a wonderful color on her because it hides the blood, and also she's so hot.
-Emotionally Unavailable: She is the only RE woman who is not seen sincerely comforting a man or comforting a child(re2/re2r doesn't count because she's acting). This is extremely refreshing. Yes, she is the sexy femme fatale, but does she comfort Leon? No. Does she baby Sherry when she saves her? No. This isn't a moral failing. She's just not that into you, and it's not a flaw. It's an underutilized character trait with women especially.
-Hookshot User: I don't know about the people younger than me, but this was the coolest tool for people to use in cartoons when I was a kid. It's the closest a normal human can get to being Spiderman, and that automatically puts a character on the Best Design list in my opinion.
-High-risk High-reward Thinker: Working with B.O.Ws in any capacity means you're somewhat of a gambler. What does Chris get from going into enemy territory to arrest some guy? Paperwork. What does Jill get from saving Chris' life? Brainwashed into a killing machine and made blonde(the worst fate bestowed upon women). Leon fights for his country. Ew. Gross. You know what Ada gets going into death ridden zones? Her bag. Her check. Her money, and it's actually worth it.
-Espionage S-Rank: The international arrest warrant is going to make things a little more difficult, but Ada's made her career around going under the radar to get in and out of high security areas. She gets the gear, the guns, and plays her role with finesse. Her intel gathering skills must be impeccable to achieve this.
Quick Bullet Points:
Not a eugenicist. (Wesker is.)
Doesn't experiment on corpses. (Heisenberg does this.)
No god-complex. (Wesker has this.)
Against child labor? (Heisenberg wants a baby gun.)
Doesn't make viruses that kill people. Only gets paid to move them around. (Unlike some people.)
Thinks Leon is pathetic, but likes him anyway even if he's a lil ugly. Which is so nice of her. (❤️)
So there's my comprehensive list I said I'd make weeks ago but am just now getting to. If anyone has anything else to add feel free to do so in the replies. If you're here to be an Ada hater, you'll get blocked.

URGENT HELP🚨🚨🚨🍉🇵🇸
Hello,
How do you do ? I hop to be in a good condition.
This is my special campaign
We hope to help us by donating or sharing to others.
Every donation makes a different even if it a small.
As you know, the war began on October 7 and lasted ten months. During this period, we were unable to obtain food, drink, or treatment because we did not have money.
There is no source of income for the family at the present time, so we are unable to buy food, clean water, and medicine, especially after we are afflicted with the ongoing infectious diseases spread in the north like Hepatitis C disease.
Our house has been damaged a lot since the beginning of the war. We are from the north of Gaza and we are still in the north and have not displaced to the south. We displaced 10 times from place to another seeking to safety .
We hope for your help and support, even if only a little.🙏🙏

Hello, Abedallh.
I'm fine, and I hope you're also fine. However, when trying to access your campaign, the page appears invalid. I've taken a few minutes to read your story on your Tumblr page, and all I can say is that I wish for nothing but the well-being of the rest of your family. I know you're going through a hard time, but it's important to remember that one can't win if they don't fight. I’m sorry to hear about your and your family's hardships. While I can’t donate because I’m a minor, I’ll definitely read your story and share your campaign with others. You’re in my thoughts, and I hope your situation improves soon. Take care.
