ok ok, let me cook, let me on the fryer. so drunk driving stream (your girl got carried away, lacked details my bad bestie boo). isaacwhy, big t goat, and yumi. i’m talking giggles GALORE. i’m talking isaac appearance on readers stream? i’m talking, accidental hard launch? on stream? drunk? again, my apologies for lack of detail in the last four or so worded suggestion, lots of love 😘
anon. ily.
isaacwhy x drunk driving stream! reader hc’s
u last minute agreed to a drunk driving stream w 2 of ur best friends yumi and big t while ur bf isaac was at ur place
usually he’d be the third in this trio but u kidnapped him
you’re more than half a four loko down. isaac is a full four loko down. sitting on discord on his phone in ur living room so that chat doesn’t know he’s at ur place
(even tho they all have a suspicion about yall)
“no, no!” you drunkenly yell as your truck spins around on the highway
tanner and yumi are giggling their asses off, watching your truck flip to the side
you take another gulp of ur drink, gagging at the taste
“y/n, you’re a fucking moron!” yumi laughs
you gasp, and look into your webcam
it’s only then when u realize how drunk u look
“holy shit. oh. i’m so drunk,” you mumble as u repair ur truck
“really? couldn’t tell—“
“tanner i’ll—i’ll—kill u,” u stutter
“y/n, stop drinking,” isaac says
“ummm fuck u,” u giggle, downing another gulp
“y/nnnnn!” isaac yells. also drunk.
“come ‘ere. come into—the room,” you slur, not even realizing you’ve uncovered that isaac is in your house
“huh? are you sure?” isaac asks but you can hear him getting up
“oh god she’s getting isaac. oh god,” yumi groans
“k—y—s,” you spell out slowly, making tanner burst out laughing
isaac walks in and his tall ass is covered so u don’t worry about ur webcam
“hiii isaac,” you smile up at him. a part of u is conscious about ur secret relationship to teh viewers while another part is very drunk and wanting your boyfriend like rn
“hii y/n,” isaac smirks down at u, “i think you’re good on the drinks.”
you groan, gulping down more four loko, “you CANNOTTT tell me what to do.”
“oh no. they’re in trouble—OH SHIT I CRASHED,” tanner yells into the mic.
you glance over at chat, seeing your ship name w isaac being spammed and u hide ur eye roll
“you’re drunk too,” u point at ur boyfriend but realize ur vision has gone blurry
“not like you,” isaac laughs. the webcam can see from his chest down as he crosses his arms in his tank top
ur going bonkers
“i—need to pee. i think,” u get up but u stumble. isaac holds out his hands for you and you try and stabilize urself
“you okay?” isaac laughs, holding you
“i’m great!” you quickly saying, stepping away from him
you take three steps away from him, nearly fall until he catches you and all you can do is giggle
isaac is just looking down at you with a small smile, “okay, stream. over. come on—“
“no!!! wait till i get back baby.”
yeah u don’t even realize what u said bc ur just staring up at isaac with a fond smile while isaac has the widest eyes and ur chat has increased in speed
u can faintly hear yumi and tanner yelling
“what?” you ask with a head tilt, “i gotta—pee,@ u say still clueless, “entertain chat!” u say as u walk away, still oblivious
isaac stands there, stunned that you called him baby on stream. subsequently exposing your relationship
it was gonna happen at some point but he wasn’t expecting it while ur both drunk
“chat—chat. um,” he stands awkwardly until u come back
u stumble back in, still clueless while ur bf looks borderline horrified
“y/n, end stream please,” isaac grabs your shoulders
“hm? wha—okay,” you walk over, “guys i’m too drunk according to isaac so i’m gonna end….”
ur eyes fall on ur chat and the word baby and isaac and y/n are dating being spammed
oh fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
u whip ur head towards isaac when you realize what you did
“okay—yup! bye chat!” and you quickly end stream.
once u know ur in the clear, ur head falls your hands, “fuck. i’m sorry babe.”
“it’s okay. you’re drunk. it was gonna happen because we’re both dumbasses at some point,” isaac assures u.
you put ur headset back on and yumi and tanner are too drunk to help you so you turn the whole pc off and slam into your bed, face first into the pillows
“i’m staying off twitter for like—ever,” you mumble into the pillow
“eh. we have a lot less weirdos. you’ll be alright,” isaac rubs your back

about my last request, could you get Yumi to talk about her family, who comes from a family of spies and assassins and is the current leader, that kind of thing please
This is the first time I ever got requested for a continuation omg dghsgdhsgah!! I'm glad you enjoyed it enough, and I hope you proceed to enjoy this one! (BTW thanks for sending me the stuff of the Yozakura family to read, it really helped me!)
CW: Talks of violence and crimes, low-key bad childhood(?)
Jamil Viper x Yumi Yozakura - Lunchbreak talk
After a restless night for Yumi and Jamil, albeit for different reasons, the sun arose. Grim was especially insistent this morning on going early to class... for some reason. When Yumi arrived, though, it was made obvious. They had a shared class with Jack, and Grim wanted to hide behind him to sleep. With Professor Trein's voice in the background, Yumi made a plan on how to explain everything she needed to Jamil. She would be lying if she said it didn't eat her inside keeping such a big secret from the one she loved the most, but she also was afraid of him avoiding her. Hopefully, he would not do that.
It would be an understatement to say that the rest of the classes were boring. Besides potionology, in which Yumi had a laugh at Jack having to wear a net to not get fur on any recipe, everything was plain. As much as a magical world was interesting, school is still school. But soon, the bell rang, and the last class of the morning was over, which meant the time had come.
Ace and Deuce invited Yumi to sit with them, but she only put Grim sitting with them and told them to not let him break any chandelier again. Grim was not happy to not be with his henchhuman, but Deuce fed him to keep him from causing trouble.
And then... there she was. Sitting by Jamil's side, while he unpacked the food for Kalim, who was happily chatting with other Scarabia students across the table.
"Jamil? I... er... oh shit how do I begin this..." "Is it what we discussed yesterday?" "Yes." "Well, in that case, you can talk at your own pace. I didn't literally mean to talk to me everything, you know?" His tone had the slightest bit of a tease, and he had the faintest of smiles. so faint, in fact, that if you saw him from afar, you wouldn't notice it. "I'm... I'm not a normal girl." "That I already was aware." "Wow, thanks for the comforting affirmations..." Yumi said in a playful banter but continued "I mean, like, not even in my world. I'm not a normal girl, at all." "I would like to think that is a good thing, but from your expressions, I can already tell it is not." "... I'm from a family of spies and assassins"
Jamil choked on his words and had everyone at the table looking at him. Not what he needed, truly.
"what do you mean by that? Why didn't you tell me beforehand?" The boy seemed much more defensive, and way less receptible to whatever she was about to say. "Jamil, please calm down, okay? This was exactly why I didn't want to tell you, or anyone for that matter. I don't... I don't want to be left alone. I don't want people leaving me because of all my family has done, does, and probably will continue to do." after a pause, she muttered in a whispery tone "Especially you..." "... what type of spies and assassins?" "The type that doesn't let bad people crawl into power." "That's why you know how to fight?" "I, um, actually know more than that. That's self-defense, I also know another 4 martial arts. And how to deal with weapons. And know 5 languages. And also-" "Okay, okay, I got it. But... for how long has this been going on?" "I'm from the... uhm... 10th? generation of the family that does this. I'm actually supposed to be the leader, for uhm... how do I explain this... You know how you all have a unique spell? yeah, people in my family also have one. but in each generation, a girl will be born without it, and that girl is supposed to keep the lineage going, and be the leader." "Okay, that is important information but not what I meant. For how long do you know all that stuff?" "my whole life? I guess... I mean, I knew I was gonna be the leader at 8, and have been preparing since then. Y'know... small quantity of poison, to build immunity. physical and mental training... the sorts."
Jamil paused, staring at the girl. It felt... almost familiar. Seeing someone who didn't manage to have a normal life, albeit for different reasons than his. It was a mix of feelings in his chest. He felt like he was not alone in his life experiences, but also sad that Yumi had to go through all that.
The silence was broken by Yumi holding Jamil's hands in hers. A never felt before roughness in them.
"Are you leaving me?" Although it was mean, Jamil didn't help but let a small chuckle leave his lips. "No. I'm not." "What are the love birds talking about? Oh! Will Yumi teach me those cool moves? Hyah, Huah, Psh Pow!" "We already talked about this, Kalim. She will not."
Yumi felt a sense of relief fill her body, as she giggled at the two boys. She felt so happy around Jamil... And she was happy he was not letting whatever her family is or does interfere with what he feels, although she didn't know the true reasoning behind it. That being he felt not alone in what he lived.
Maybe soulmates do exist, even if from another world. And maybe, just maybe, this was the Happily Ever After they deserved.
Hope you enjoyed it! Tried a more slow start and dialogue-heavy, compared to the last one. They complete each other so well, don't they? Have a great Day/Night!

Hi Kero! I just wanted to let you know I am so excited for Eyes/On and any projects you make in the future. Curious what the inspiration(s) to create a semi-long form project like this was?
It's a long one!
I had a failed story I was working on called Lilypad Mall that never did see the light of day. It had a 11 page work document and focused on my frog girl Keroline. Looking back, the project was really unfocused and all over the place, designs didn't have much connection between each other.
Ultimately I scrapped it back in 2021 as I lost interest in it and left to do other things. Focusing on character design practice and whatever I was going to do with the vtuber design I had made.
The whole vtuber thing was going to be general whatever streams of me working or me playing games, with a small animation series meant to tell a backstory of how the character came to be. The basic rundown of that story was first person torture, but I kinda ran out of ways to show body horror and torture from a first person view and tell a story on the side. This is where the name "Eyes/On" came from! I simply kept it because I couldn't think of a better name after the story shifted.
This iteration of Eres was also primarily evil, focusing on her being a mad witch focusing on experiments and making monsters. This whole project was really ambitious and made me realize I dunno if I could stream that often!
So I focused on retooling that story into something else and salvaging the designs. You could say that Eyes/On has been in the works since 2019! As for the current iteration of the story, it's heavily inspired by the shows and music that involve a larger world with tons of other life taking place in it.
Things like Made in Abyss, Houseki no Kuni, Somali and the Forest Spirit, The Ancient Magus' Bride, music from the talented Mamyukka with songs like 蒼の海底都市, アストロノミア, あやかしばなし, and the whole Evilz album.
There's definitely more, but this post is already getting long enough! But I got a little more left to say.
For the side project, it's main inspiration is mostly from my own feelings, partly my dreams, and Yumi Nikki. If it ever does end up becoming a bigger thing I've got a lot of ideas for imagery and designs that I can't do for Eyes/On that I'd love to use for it.

Cancer: The Journey
First Steps
I can't say anything as brave as 'battling cancer' or 'fighting cancer.' I think that the best thing I can say is that I am enduring cancer. Pronounced to be in remission the last week of December, I understand that I am not cured. Instead, I have what I have chosen to call Schrodinger's Cancer - they don't know if it's there or not, but we are choosing to proceed as if it is until blood tests and imaging indicate otherwise. Even after five years, when they pronounce one to be 'cured' - there is always the chance of recurrence or a new type of cancer altogether. There will always be a sword hanging over my head, as my chemobuddies taught me.
I found out about my cancer by reading my discharge papers from a place I will call Asshat Central Hospital. They referred me to Asshat specialists who from my calls in the middle of February could not see me until the end of march, and in some cases as far out as May. I needed to see an oncologist and a urologist urgently. Over the next two weeks, I was stumbling and fumbling as I tried to get care out of my HMO network, two more visits to the ER got me a shot of morphine and a CT scan, another list of referals, and finally pain meds.
I woke up on the morning of March 3rd in so much pain that I thought I was going to die. I knew if I went back to Asshat Central, Dunno Medical Center, or Clowncar General that even with my PPO, that I would die. I got my ass in an Uber and over the hill to Cedars-Sinai. I was upstairs and in a bed in a matter of hours, I had painmeds and that first night I remember sleeping so deeply. I was safe and getting care. Within two days, all the care that was weeks or months out started rolling in. Colonoscopy. Nephrostomy and stent. MRI, CT, ultrasounds, x-rays. Cardiac, oncology, urology/nephrology, and all the ologies rolled through my room and them me all over the hospital - it hurt, was terrifying, and in the end the platform needed for care.
Killing the Cancer Instead of the Patient
On March 18th, I had a power pump installed in my left arm for drawing blood and administering chemo.
Five weeks of chemoradiation began shortly after. Radiation Monday through Friday, with a chemo pump Monday through Saturday, a Monday infusion of Emend, Kytril, and dexamethasone, followed by Wednesday and Saturday fluids with Kytril and dexamethasone. Here is what I will tell you about this phase and how to survive it.
This will knock you down so hard that you will not know which way is up. Radiotherapy and oncology like to point fingers. Fuck the fingerpointing. You will be so fatigued that sleeping 12 hours per day will be about all you can do.
You must stay hydrated and it's hard even with two hydration bags going in twice a week I ended up in the hospital with dehydration twice and a whopping kidney infection. Enterade is a drink that helps calm everything down after radiation and chemo and helps to limit the GI damage both can cause. Get Ultima drink powder, make up two gallons and put them in the fridge and pre-fill four one liter bottles - keep them next to you so that you can see them. When you wake up, down one.
Kiss your appetite good-bye. You still need to eat. I found that baby-food stayed down the best. Once upon a Farm is a good national brand, and so is Yumi. Kate Farms makes tasty nutritional shakes that don't give you explosive diarrhea.
I could not stomach meat or dairy, and managed to take only gummy vitamins and gummy pre/probiotic supplements. Spices hurt my mouth and throat and my stomach kicked them right back out.
My doctor prescribed Zofran sublingual, compazine, and Ativan - compazine in case the Zofran didn't work, Ativan when the nausea and vomiting was driven by anxiety. I spent a lot of time carrying around a one gallon ziplock - they came in handy. Saltines and plain soda water do help!
You'll have a break after chemoradiation - at least two weeks. Sleep.
About Power Ports
GET THAT PORT. INSIST ON THAT PORT. It will save you endless bullshit with collapsing veins later as chemo and radiation both make your veins brittle. Insist on anyone drawing blood or giving an infusion use that port. Get ready to call bullshit when they say that they can't. I had bruises up and down my arms until I told them to get someone to access the fucking port or I would damn well walk to Cedars if I had to.
Be aware of the increased risk of blood clots. Your arm may swell and that needs to be seen and treated right away, usually with a three-month course of Eliquis or other blood thinner. You could take aspirin as a preventative with your doctor's approval, but I'm allergic to that and other NSAIDS. Turmeric, ginger, black pepper, cinnamon, and cayenne all have blood-thinning properties, but I could not keep them down. Likewise, grapefruit juice or supplements can enhance (not in a good way) blood thinning medications.
About Nephrostomy Bags
They fucking suck. A nephrostomy should be reversed six to eight weeks after the surgery, and the stent in the ureter (not the urethra) takes over. You cart your piss bag everywhere, wake up to make sure it's not overflowing. You're at an increased risk for kidney infections. Here's my tips for living with the motherfucker.
Order only name-brand bags from Amazon. You'll want to change out the bag once per week. Keep the big bag for when you're at home, the little bag for when you have to go out. Coloplast, Bard, and Medline are all good to use. There are bag covers, bag carriers, and even clothing to keep your bag concealed, catch leaks, and stop punctures. You might want to tape your connections to prevent accidental decoupling. Also, insist on a home health nurse to change that dressing - the angle is such that you can't do it yourself.
Friends
You will make friends in radiation and infusion waiting rooms. You'll share space with them in infusion clinics. You may lose them. It will hurt. At the same time, you'll be happy and heartbroken. You'll share tips and tricks, highs and lows, and a fellowship that can't be described, only experienced.

oh hey look this one isn't a repost from my backloggd this time
original plan for this one was actually gonna be a video for a ranking of the whole series (to get some editing practice in) before i decided to scrap the idea so i thought "hey might as well repurpose it into a review review". so here we are!! yippee!!

This review contains major spoilers (and obviously also for Yakuza Kiwami, its remake)

The spark that started a fire. I have a lot of respect for this game, even if it is sitting here at the bottom of the list. And I just want to say: I truly believe I haven’t played a single bad RGG game. And something tells me that’s gonna stay the same as I play the rest of them. I’m sure you’ve heard about it by now. This was Nagoshi’s passion project. He put his whole career on the line for this game, and, well, the series is still around today, isn’t it? Before I can even begin talking about it though, I have to get something very important out of the way. I played the English dub. Willingly, actually. I decided to play through the VERY infamous dub where the fandom’s one (1) joke would come from willingly. Now, was this a mistake? Yeah, probably. Should I have played the restoration patch? Yeah, probably. Would I recommend the dub to someone who would want to experience Yakuza 1? Probably not, no. But do I regret this decision overall? Oh, absolutely not.
I’m sorry, the dub is just so, so good. Not in an actually well-made way, of course, but it’s still so good. This is textbook “so bad it’s good”. It added so much more memorability to this game, and I’m not even kidding. Kiryu shouts "FUCK YOU" very loudly at whatever poor soul he’s beating down whenever he uses a heat action. I don’t know how something can be so stupid, funny, and somehow still badass at the same time. Most of the casting wasn’t even that bad, honestly. It’s just the fact that the direction is awful. I cannot believe that “YOU WERE… MY REAL FATHER!” made it through. Still though: Kiryu was actually pretty decent for most of his runtime, Nishiki was surprisingly rather consistently good and even great in some cutscenes ("SHE WAS YUMI'S SISTER! WHO TOLD YOU TO KILL HER?!"), Goofy shows up as Date which is awesome, and Mark Hamil Majima. No, seriously, I’m still surprised they managed to bag him. It’s even funnier that he has absolutely no recollection of his character, too.
There are moments in Yakuza 1 that I would not AT ALL remember if not for the dub. “I suggest you blow me” guy has the best vocal delivery I’ve ever heard in my life. The character where Kiryu beats up a bunch of color-themed gangs would not at all mean anything to me if it weren’t for “KILL THIS …………………………………. DUMB MOTHERFUCKER”. And my biggest example: Hayashi. One of the most famous lines from this mess of a dub, “Go! Kill this arrogant moth-er-fack-ar!”, naturally came from this clown. And because of that, I’d completely unironically have this guy on in my mind, which then made his appearance and subsequent unnaturally really good boss fight in Y2 much more meaningful to me.
So TL;DR for the dub: it’s awful and that’s why it’s awesome. I would absolutely recommend playing the patch if you’re interested in picking this game up, but at the same time, I’m just saying, y’know, playing through the dub WOULD be pretty funny, man.
Onto the actual game, and I’m just not the biggest fan of Yakuza 1’s combat. To give it credit, it was actually a lot better than I was expecting from the first ever entry of the franchise, but it’s still not the best for me. Kiryu feels pretty stiff at times, and you’re often fighting the camera more than the enemies. There is one thing the combat in this game just nails, though, and that’s IMPACT. The sound design here (and by extension the direct sequel) is just immaculate. You can really FEEL that damage. The heat actions all feel rough, brutal, and HEAVY, in a way that just hasn’t really been replicated since. Which is funny to think about, because they’re STILL reusing the heat actions from the PS2 games.
I got a rush whenever Kiryu started the low health heat action and mercilessly pummeled through his opponent. I’d wince just a little whenever he’d smash a goon’s head against the wall. Your punches, your kicks, your tiger drops, they all have that “oomph” to them. Every hit just feels so naturally MEATY. I really appreciate that aspect, even if I found the combat itself to be mediocre.
Now onto the story… Yeah, admittedly not a fan either. Again, dub, but even disregarding that, the plot’s pretty whatever. Cause take a look at something like Y4, right? Yeah, the story just took the biggest nosedive when the second half started, but everything in it was still unapologetically cool in that video-gamey kind of way that made you overlook some of that. And while Yakuza 1 undoubtedly does have some really sick scenes and setpieces, I just… don’t care about Yakuza 1’s plot. Nishiki and Kiryu’s relationship is like the one anchor that actually got me going, and even then you could argue pretty easily that even that was a little paper thin in some aspects. In retrospect, 0 just does so much heavy lifting for the fish boy, and I’m sure Kiwami adds even more to that. Still though, I do like the dynamic the two had in this game. Nishiki’s a pretty damn respectable villain. Maybe a little two-dimensional, but still solid. The confrontation with him in Serena is one of my favorite scenes in the game because of it. Sure, Nishiki in this game can kind of feel like “i used to be your buddy but suddenly i'm super evil and messed up now grahhhh” in some aspects, but you can still feel that bond he and Kiryu have, and the heartbreak that comes with seeing just how much those 10 years had drifted the two apart. The other aspects of Y1’s story were just kinda… alright, I guess. Jingu is an asspull and a half, and him being Haruka’s dad is honestly something I just forget most of the time. Shimano and the Triad are decent secondary threats, and now that I look back on it, their two long battles were really fun and memorable. And just about everything in between, I just didn’t really care for. The deaths were well-handled and mostly hit pretty hard, though. Reina and Shinji both kicking it back to back was effective, and made that rooftop showdown with Arase such a special encounter, added with the amazing Turning Point. Oh, and Kazama, I guess. He's there too, I suppose.
One thing I appreciate a lot though is how justifiably broken Kiryu is at the end of the game. In the span of like, a week, his entire world was flipped on its head, he lost his sworn brother, his father figure, love interest, and two close friends. The tough guy facade is long gone by then. By the end of it all, he’s obviously just broken. Practically suicidal, actually. And the only thing that manages to get him back on his feet is Haruka. It just makes Amazing Grace playing during the credits hit so much more. Overall, while there certainly are some strong points, I just found Yakuza 1’s story pretty weak. Again, dub, but still.
But if there’s one thing Yakuza 1 just nails perfectly, it's the atmosphere. The PS2 games have this really unique feel that hasn’t been replicated in the franchise since. It’s definitely the grimest and seediest Kamurocho’s ever felt. I know it’s a hardware limitation and all, and free-roam is strictly better, but the restrictiveness of the map adds so much. It’s almost claustrophobic, and makes those moments of panic where you need to rush to somewhere for the story really tense.
It even reflects in the substories. Yakuza 1’s substory selection, on average, isn’t really strong. It’s filled with a lot of empty space substories and certain scam ones just kinda mesh into each other, but the ones that work, work REALLY well. 1-4 all have full-blown cutscenes for certain substories, and that does a lot for the feel and the memorability for each one. There are some great standout substories like The Truth About the Fake Yumi, The Yakuza’s Wife, and Man on a Ledge, which introduced us to Akimoto and Mizuki, and uh… alright I might wanna take that last one back…
Still though, even with the whole annoyance of missable substories, (which for the record i am so so glad they got rid of) Yakuza 1 has some well-crafted substories worth lending an ear to, even if there’s not really any goofy haha silly ones.
One experience I’d like to share is this substory where you have to find medicine for a guy on the streets. Naturally I just found him while playing through the story, so I just talked to him, said sure, I’d help, and I just continued whatever I was doing in the main story. I come back a few chapters later, only to find out someone completely different talking about how a guy who needed help died there. That’s how I found out you had failable, missable substories: I failed to help this guy, and the city sure didn’t care, and he just died unfairly because of that, on the cold, unfeeling streets of Kamurocho. That told me so much about both the tone of the game and of the city.
Lastly: the OST. It’s a good ass soundtrack. Of course it is, it’s a Yakuza game. The first two games have a uniquely rough, edged feel to their soundtracks. It’s got an almost grunge-like rock to it, and I’m a fan of the tracks that came out of that. Some I’d just like to highlight are:
son of a gun
Scarlet Scar
Pray Me
My personal favorite from the game, Turning Point
And of course, the iconic Receive You
Even if I do have some gripes with it, Yakuza 1 is still a pretty solid game. There’s a reason this series is still around today. I’d recommend a play for anyone interested; it’s a very unique experience and it’s cool seeing how much the series has grown, while at the same time seeing just how much they already had figured out on that first step. Just, play the patch. But also watch the dub. It’s very funny.
Ten... Ten years in... I can't do this anymore, man. I can't. I- I'm done. I'm done, man.

Anarchy. For Ranboo twin brother reader, Bench Trio are vloging and Tubbo gets separated form Tommy & Ranboo, then sees reader {thinking it's Ranboo}, then after awhile of reader and Tubbo walking around they find Ranboo and Tommy. After awhile Dream adds reader to the SMP and reader joins as "Casinoboo" Gumi Yumi on YouTube portages Casinoboo personality on point, Ranboo and reader's characters are separate 1/2
Ah so I answered your thingy earlier about doing Casinoboo separate so look for that in the future! I loved the whole mixed up twins thing though :] /pos /g
Tumblr media
Summary: You and your twin look an awful lot alike
Pairing: P!Bench Trio X Reader
Pronouns: He/him
[A/n]: Requests are open, send me love! <3
Tumblr media
Running from crazy fans was not something the Bench Trio had expected or hoped for today. And yet they found themselves losing track of each other as they desperately ran in any open direction they could find, they could always regroup later.
Tumbling through many streets and occasionally in between buildings, Tubbo found himself in an unfamiliar part of town. The fans were gone, but so was his sense of direction, he had no idea how he had gotten to where he was or how he was going to find his way back.
“Fuck, what do I do now?” Tubbo looked around, he would’ve called Tommy or Ranboo but he didn’t want to get them caught by fans, so he shot a text in a group chat and paced around. Tubbo soon found himself in a more open part of town, though he still couldn’t figure out where he was. He did recognize someone though.
“Ranboo!” The shorter boy raced over to his tall friend, immediately gushing about how he was so tired from running and how he’s never been in this part of town before and how he was so glad to see a familiar face, er half face.
“Weren’t you wearing your black and white mask earlier? Maybe I’m just mixing up days. Anyways, let's try and find our way back, I’m sure Tommy is looking for us.” Naturally, you would’ve said something about how you were the other twin or how you weren’t Ranboo but with Tubbo’s constant chatter about being lost you simply didn’t have a chance to speak. Not that you were really going to say much anyways, you were kinda tempted to stay quiet and see how everything would play out, you only hoped that when Tubbo, and whoever he happened to be with, wouldn’t mind.
A short time had passed and Tubbo had eventually received a text from Tommy, he was at a park and with Ranboo or so he claimed.
“Tommy is crazy, how could he be with you if you’re right here with me? Crazy right?” Tubbo’s question was rhetorical, not that he would have given you a chance to answer anyways.
“Do you know where this park is? Wait why am I asking you, you’re not even from here.” Tubbo shook his head at himself, opening a gps app and looking for the park. Thankfully it was only about a minute walk from where the two of you were currently stood.
“Huh, I guess he somehow ran the same way as me. Anyways let’s go!” Tubbo cheerly grabbed your arm, dragging you in the direction of where Tommy was supposedly at. You were now hesitant to follow after him, he was going to meet with Tommy and your brother after all, your small prank would be revealed and whether they laughed or not would be decided only by fate.
As time dragged on, and Tubbo dragged you, you found yourself regretting going along with the idea in the first place, wanting nothing more than to be back where Tubbo found you.
“Look there he is! Tommy!” Tubbo waved excitedly, eventually bouncing off in Tommy’s direction, which you slowly followed in.
“Wait, Ranboo? How can you be with Tommy when I was just-” His words cut short as he looked between you and your brother, struggling to find words to complete the thoughts in his head.
“Oh hey (Y/n), what are you doing here?”
“Tubbo kidnapped me, he was talking so much that I never got the chance to tell him that I was me and not you so eventually I just followed along and figured I would explain later.” You rubbed the back of your neck as you explained yourself, awkwardly smiling at the trio.
“Yeah sounds about right, well would you like to join us? We were filming a video when we got chased by fans so now we have to change up the video plans a bit.”
“Sure, I’d love to!”
“You weren’t Ranboo? But I was calling you Ranboo and talking to you like I talk to Ranboo the whole time! You never said anything!”
“I never got the chance.”

[Exerpt]
Rain gently tapped against the window, late November air seeped through the aging walls. Nishiki and Kazuma were huddled under his blanket. Too close to be appropriate at their age, both of them recently sixteen as of a handful of months ago. During the day they wouldn't dare be so close, hands and shoulders rubbing up against one another shivering. Things were always less of an act when they were alone. Honesty was easy now, taking off a mask they were learning to put up, at least slightly,  things could be taken the wrong way, or what other people said was wrong, but what they felt was just them. Kazuma was now Kiryu in front of everyone else, though he couldn't get the hang of Nishikiyama, and Nishiki honestly didn't want him to.
Nishiki was hyper aware of how close they were, thinking of it, almost obsessively. Kazuma's skin was always warm against his own, perfect as though they balanced each other out, his cold hands nestled in Kazuma's warmth. His head felt like it fit just perfectly on his shoulder, he tried to hold himself back when he could, but they were both drunk and he let it be an unspoken excuse.
A bottle of nearly empty whiskey rested off to the side where Nishiki had tossed it when they realized that between it and stolen beers they were a little too dizzy for their own good. Nishiki just as hyper focused on Kazuma's lips pressed to the bottle, how he mirrored him and could feel his heart skip a beat when he imagined how close their lips came to touching. He told himself it was the booze, that he just got too handsy and hormonal when drunk. He made an excess of excuses endlessly and let it bounce around his head to be grabbed when need be.
He told himself that if Kazuma didn't want him to be so close, so touchy, he'd tell him, push him away.
"What's going on with Yumi?" He couldn't help but ask, softly though the blue darkness of the room. The two of them stole glances at one another, Yumi always giggling or teasing him, and Nishiki hated how sour he felt when he saw them act this way. He wanted it to stay the same, a child in the sense that change was big and out of his control and constantly threatening to rip apart what he had. He resented Yumi for growing up just like they were, pretty, soft and sweet. Most importantly a girl, it wasn't that he didn't notice she was these things, that he didn't find her pretty. The conflating of these facts confused him, as he had no idea what he himself felt.
"What do you mean?"
"I saw her looking at you like that," he prodded, unsure why he goaded Kazuma into these things despite his own feelings. "She clearly likes you, so what gives?"
"...I don't know," Kazuma conceded eventually, looking sort of ashamed, "Are you sure she does? And…I don't know even if that's true…"
"Of course it is," Nishiki tilted his head, still close, arms still touching, "She was asking you to sneak off to the roof the other day, honestly I kind of figured you went up there to make out."
"What?" Kazuma flushed and shoved him lightly, Nishiki breaking into a wide smirk, "Don't be stupid, I didn't-I wouldn't…"
"Wouldn't? Come on," he shoved him back, never strong enough to completely knock him over, "You like her too, you don't have to lie about liking a girl."
"Y-yeah I guess so…" Kazuma kept his eyes downward, "But I wouldn't. Er, like, I don't know how so I couldn't, so no we weren't doing that."
"What do you mean you don't know how?"
"I haven't ever…" He shook his head, even in the dark room Nishiki could tell his face was flushed, "I-I don't know how to kiss somebody…"
"Tch, it's not hard." Nishiki rolled his eyes with his most casual tone, pretending like he knew what he was talking about, it wasn't like Kazuma would know better.
"Like you would know," Kazuma nudged him again, looking properly embarrassed.
"I do too," Nishiki insisted, though he didn't know why.
"Oh yeah?" Kazuma leaned forward, challenging him.
"Uh huh, not everyone's a loser-"
"Prove it." Kazuma interjected.
"...what?" Nishiki blinked, completely caught off guard, suddenly feeling a gentle heat bubble under his skin. Kazuma immediately shrinking away, embarrassed.
"I-i mean I j-just," He stammered, crossing his arms over his chest, "Well since you know so much I just…"
"You want me to show you?" Nishiki blurted out though he attempted to keep his tone relaxed, even though he was dizzy and he felt strange excitement buzzing under his skin like electricity.
There was a silence between them then, both too scared to cut the tension, someone had to back away or move forward and the two of them were trapped in this limbo. Nishiki teetered on the edge, but his head was still fuzzy, and excitement too palpable and his eyes rested on Kazuma's lips so long he felt like he was being invited closer. The breathy truth of the almost kiss from the whiskey bottle came to him, and in a haze he broke their stalemate.
Nishiki leaned closer, inching closer to him, his breath reeked of liquor. In his mind he tried to replicate kissing he'd seen in movies or television, scared he'd miss, scared Kazuma would back out. He found his lips slowly, noses pressed against each other, he could taste alcohol and hints of candy Kazuma had looted out of his bag. Nishiki felt all that bubbling excitement settle gently, time appeared to stop around them. Even inexperienced Nishiki could tell it was awkward, but Kazuma's soft lips against his own made him feel like he was dreaming.
When they pulled away a soft but confusing warmth permeated the space between them, Nishiki swallowed, the eye contact between them conveying information neither of them understood.
Nishiki almost spoke, but the words fell flat behind his lips, Kazuma leaned back against the wall, inching his arm around Nishiki's shoulders and they migrated into what could only be called cuddling, though that wouldn't be the word they would have used had someone called them on it. Nishiki's head found its place between Kazuma's shoulder and chest, and Kazuma took to resting his chin on Nishiki's head. Looking down occasionally with a deep inhale like he wanted to imprint the smell of his hair In his memory.
They didn't say anything else, they didn't need to, the most pure form of a first didn't require them to discuss it, so instead they cuddled close to one another and interlocked their fingers, as close as they ever could be.
Nishiki felt Kazuma's breathing shift to a slow rhythmic cycle, and felt his hand loosen it's grip. Kazuma always was one to fall asleep first.
Nishiki had a reasonable backlog of beloved childhood memories, but if there was one he thought back too most often that he would ache from, it was Kazuma's lips in the dark and he treasured it more than so much in his head.
