@sandymybeloved your tags were too good they had to be reposted because yes to literally all of that! Also I feel like with Ruby’s abandonment issues, the audience is supposed to just assume that of course she has abandonment issues because she’s an orphan and was looking for her birth mother. When actually, that isn’t clear because I’m sure there are people with adoptive parents who want to know more about their background because they feel it’s a part of them not because they feel abandoned.

Okay here’s the thing, and I know everyone has realised the repetitive nature of the storylines this season, but the thing that bothers me about 73 Yards is how similar the idea is to The Curse of Clyde Langer and that episode worked sooo much better.

Because there was emotional weight, because we’d been watching Clyde’s story for years so when everyone he loved turned against him for some reason because of a curse it was painful. Whereas with Ruby, while a delightful character, it’s just frustrating to see nothing work but the emotional weight isn’t the same

the psychological horror created by Hasbro’s desire to sell more toys rather than honour the desires of the original creator resulting in an immortal alicorn princess of friendship doomed to watch her friends grow old and die without her is so interesting to me. by trying to cater to children more you have accidentally created a reality in which death of the main characters friends as she lives on for centuries is not just implied but confirmed. idk it’s fascinating to think about

I just realized it'll take the eng server almost a year to reach the 3D Cheka T pose model :' ) we're at book 7 part 6, and we get a new main story update every 2 to 3 months..

spoiler-free is pretty hard, especially considering. the, uhhh, particular turn that things take directly after 6. (like, the fact that the other characters are showing up probably counts on its own?) and I do think that if you can avoid getting spoiled, most of it is definitely better as a surprise! some of the genuinely best Twst moments are waiting for you. :D
