Something I find extremely interesting about the ocean Saga (beyond how little people talk about it) is that the entire time Odysseus is truly being tossed back and forth like the waves. We start with a storm and lead to him being doubted and scrutinized by his crew before finally receiving help from Aeolus just to have minor mutiny and be dashed and criticized by Poseidon with the only thing saving him being the very thing that doomed him from the beginning. It's truly poetic.
